Nothing Like Learning Biblical Hebrew in Jerusalem! ✡ "Hurried to Prepare It" - ISRAEL365

Then Abraham ran to the cattle, took a calf, tender and good, and gave it to the youth who hurried to prepare it.

Today's Israel Inspiration

Today's verse describes how Abraham hastened to prepare food for the three visitors that arrived at his home. The word cattle, 'ba-kar', בקר, has the same letters as the word for grave, 'kever', קבר. From this play on words, the sages learn that Abraham realized that the site he had reached also housed the graves of Adam and Eve, and therefore, when he would need a burial place in the future, this site was what he should purchase. Prophecy: A Sign Will Rise Above Israel - BOB ESCHLIMAN CHARISMA NEWS

Israeli Independence Day Celebration
Munday and Jennifer Martin say the Lord has told them a sign will emerge over Israel this summer, signalling something greater than the Jesus Movement. (Reuters photo)

Prophecy: A Sign Will Rise Above Israel

Prophetic ministers Munday and Jennifer Martin, writing to readers of Elijah List, said something "far greater than the Jesus Movement" is coming in a new word shared on Friday.
"Something even greater than the former Jesus Movement is upon us right now!" they wrote. "There is a fresh stirring of hunger for love in America. People in the church are feeling it. People outside the four walls of the church are feeling the drawing. Harvesting angels at this hour are being sent out on assignments. People are hungering for acceptance, forgiveness and the supernatural, and they are struggling with their identities. Jesus is about to quench a desperate thirst that nothing this world is currently offering can afford and that no community can give outside of the Holy Spirit.
"God has always had a heart for cities and nations even when darkness was upon them—such as Nineveh. This generation reminds us of the days of the hippies and bohemians, when many youth (though entrenched in darkness of New Age and drugs) were hungry for truth, experience and love. Sadly, much of the church in that time could not offer it in fullness until the precious Holy Spirit showed up—the only One that can draw people to Jesus. What is the precursor for a nation to be awakened to God? Common logic reveals that every revival in history was preceded with great darkness or deception in a nation. But a lovesick remnant would arise and say, 'We want You, Holy Spirit!'"
They note that the world is approaching the 50th anniversary of the end of the Six-Day War as well as the launch of the Jesus Movement. The number 50 is the number of jubilee, they added, stating that a new great awakening has been triggered and will come soon.
"America is in the season of healing revival again," they wrote. "Miracle harvest glory is coming, and the Lord says, 'Watch the month of August, as you will begin to see signs of this in the heavens and in the news as we approach the jubilee of the Six-Day War in June!'
"This summer, God will release a sign over the nation of Israel and in the city of Jerusalem and it will be on the news. Everyone will be talking about it. This is the sign that this word is truly coming to pass."

1,500-Year-Old Torah Discovered—Proves Matthew 5:18

THE JERUSALEM POST  CHARISMA NEWS
In addition to the Torah, many other historical artifacts belonging to the Hellenistic and Seljuq periods, including statues, stone rubbings, jewelry, and coins were recovered.
An ancient Torah estimated to be 1,500-years-old was seized from smugglers in Ayvalik, a western resort town in Turkey, the Anadolu news agency reported on Tuesday.
In addition to the Torah, many other historical artifacts belonging to the Hellenistic and Seljuq dynasty periods, including statues, stone rubbings, jewelry, and 200 ancient bronze and silver coins were recovered.
Turkish law enforcement detained two suspects and later released them on probation, and believe the smugglers brought the artifacts from Istanbul and Bingol, an eastern Turkish province.
The Torah, inscribed on leather, was handed over with the other artifacts to the Balikesir Museum Directorship.

Turning the World

TURNING THE WORLD In times of accelerated change, anticipating the turns is prudent. Yet, for those living in the shadow of His wings, the mandate calls for something more. The call is to navigate the change. At the heart of all our efforts is what we refer to as the Issachar context: to understand the […]

Turkish President Slams Israel, Tells Muslims to Swarm Temple Mount - WORLD ISRAEL NEWS

Turkish President Slams Israel, Tells Muslims to Swarm Temple Mount

In a slanderous attack on the Jewish state, Turkish President Erdogan accused Israel of racism, warned Trump against moving the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem and called on Muslims to flood the Temple Mount.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan blasted Israel in an Istanbul speech Monday, accusing the Jewish state of racism, and warned against making any changes to the status quo at the Temple Mount.
Bemoaning an Israeli presence, he called on Muslims from around the world to flood the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
"Every day that Jerusalem is under occupation is an insult to Muslims," said Erdogan. "Visiting the Temple Mount would be the greatest support to our brothers there."
The Turkish leader slammed Israel's plan to curb the volume of the Islamic calls to prayer with the Muezzin Bill. "It is shameful that this issue is even on the agenda," he stated. "The fact that those who talk about freedom of thought even approve this measure by remaining silent is noteworthy. We will not allow the silencing of prayers from Jerusalem."
A bill seeking to regulate the often ear-splitting Muslim call to prayer, known as the Muezzin, in the wee hours of the morning has raised hackles among Muslims, who contend that the measure amounts to an assault on their freedom of religion.
Erdogan also warned the Trump administration not to move its embassy to Jerusalem. "It is wrong," he said. "Such a plan should be dropped."
Israel Responds, Calls Erdogan a Human Rights Abuser
The Israeli Foreign Ministry responded by calling Erdogan a violator of human rights. "Those who systematically violate human rights in their own country should not preach to the only true democracy in the region," said a written statement released soon after Erdogan's tirade.
"Israel consistently protects total freedom of worship for Jews, Muslims and Christians—and will continue to do so despite the baseless slander launched against it," the statement read.
Erdogan has had a checkered relationship with Israel. Ties between Israel and Turkey, which were once close, have significantly deteriorated since the Mavi Marmara incident in 2010, when pro-Hamas activists, in an effort to defy Israeli sovereignty and breach the naval blockade of Gaza, boarded a flotilla of Turkish vessels, falsely claiming to be bringing humanitarian aid and medical supplies to the Strip. IDF forces boarded the ship and were viciously assaulted with knives and other weapons. In the scuffle that followed, 10 Turkish nationals were killed and several IDF soldiers were wounded.
Despite the signing of a reconciliation pact in 2016, the relationship remains shaky.

Trump deletes Abbas tweet after Palestinian leader lies to him - Israel Today

Trump deletes Abbas tweet after Palestinian leader lies to him

Wednesday, May 10, 2017 |  Israel Today Staff
Shortly after meeting with Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas last week, US President Donald Trump took to Twitter to say what an "honor" it had been to host the head of the PLO.
The post was retweeted thousands of times.
But hours later, Trump deleted it, giving rise to speculation that the American was angered by Abbas' bald-faced lies.
"Mr. President, I affirm to you that we are raising our youth, our children, our grandchildren on a culture of peace," Abbas claimed, as he and Trump tried to sleuth out what's holding up Mideast peace.
Abbas continued: "And we are endeavoring to bring about security, freedom and peace for our children to live like the other children in the world, along with the Israeli children in peace, freedom and security."
Many, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, fired back, noting that Abbas' Palestinian Authority uses the massive amounts of foreign aid it receives to provide large stipends to Palestinian terrorists arrested by Israel.
It also routinely names Palestinian schools, parks and summer camps after the most blood-soaked terrorists - those who have managed to kill the most Jews.
Netanyahu did not even get into what Palestinian children are taught in local schools, where teachers and textbooks refer to Jews as sub-human, blood-thirsty monsters. And the incitement is even worse on after-school programming on Palestinian Authority-controlled television.
