A man called Jihad started to correspond with one of our staff members here at ONE FOR ISRAEL (Carlos), after watching some of his evangelistic videos in Arabic.  Jihad quickly came to put his faith in Yeshua, and was born again in a powerful and meaningful way. His thirst for the truth and the scriptures seems to be insatiable, and since he knows a lot about Islamic writings and Sharia, he has already got to work, noting all the contradictions and lies that are leading so many astray. He longs to help as many as possible find the truth that has set him free. He lost his job recently, and had to move his family to a poorer area within Gaza where the control over the people is even more extreme. Every Friday morning, people bang on the doors at 5:00 am to wake everyone up, and insist that the men of the house attend the mosque. They are effectively goose-marched to the mosque, and forced into the building. Jihad told Carlos,  "I was forced into the mosque, but I cannot pray to the God of Islam anymore, so I just go in the front door, leave by the back door, and go home again!"  Of course, if he was found to be avoiding worshiping in the mosque, he could be killed. But Jihad says now that he has been born again, he simply cannot do it.  Jihad's wife is also opening up more and more to the gospel, and another man who is a singer has come to faith in the last month or so. Like Jihad, he is also eager to start serving God in the best way that he can, and is now wanting to record worship songs to Yeshua in Arabic.  Praise God for these people, and others, who are coming into the kingdom at this time in Gaza! Their courage is truly inspiring, but as they told Carlos, they used to be willing to die for their Muslim faith, so now that they have found the truth, they are all the more ready to lay down their lives for the One True God who loves them and saved them through Yeshua the Messiah. Billy Graham’s family is not known to be shy. His late wife Ruth once stated, “If God doesn’t punish America, He’ll have to apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah.” It was a clarion call to repentance.

His son Franklin Graham has inherited the evangelist’s fervor, regularly posting newsworthy comments on his Facebook page and appearing on Fox News to warn of the threat of Islamic terror. In response to the August 2017 riots at Virginia, Franklin Graham posted, “Shame on the politicians who are trying to push blame on President Trump for what happened in #Charlottesville, VA. That’s absurd. What about the politicians such as the city council who voted to remove a memorial that had been in place since 1924… why didn’t the mayor or the governor see that a powder keg was about to explode and stop it before it got started? …Really, this boils down to evil in people’s hearts. Satan is behind it all. He wants division, he wants unrest, he wants violence and hatred. He’s the enemy of peace and unity.” Franklin is a Christian leader known for blunt truth-telling.

Yet few may have heard the boldness of Billy Graham’s second daughter Anne Graham Lotz, that is, until recent weeks. On the 7th of August 2017, Anne posted a warning of impending judgment in a blog titled “Is God’s Judgment Coming on America?” and tied it to Pastor Steve Cioccolanti’s video called “Is the USA in the Bible? Great American Eclipses of 2017 & 2024 – Real End Time Signs?“. Anne quoted Joel 2:31, an ominous reference to the end times, “The sun will be turned to darkness…before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.”

Back on 20 May 2015, Anne Graham Lotz said in an interview with CBN, “The day of the Lord is a time of judgment. It’s a time when God’s patience runs out. It’s a day of reckoning. And I felt that God was saying that the day of the Lord is near, and I felt specifically he was warning America…when the message comes through that the day of the Lord is near, we are to cry out, rend our hearts, which is a deep repentance.”

On 7 August 2017, Anne urged her followers, “Please view the following video posted by Australian pastor Steve Cioccolanti.  Pastor Steve articulates the warning in a very clear, undeniable, yet undogmatic way based on his understanding of Biblical truth.”Back on 20 May 2015, Anne Graham Lotz said in an interview with CBN, “The day of the Lord is a time of judgment. Her call to action was clear like her father’s altar calls at the end of his crusades, “Without doubt this is the time for God’s people to get right with God. To repent of our own sin. To share the Gospel with our neighbors. And to pray that in the midst of His coming wrath, God would remember mercy (Habakkuk 3:2).”

Having accepted Christ at the age of 8 years old, after watching Cecil B DeMille’s classic film “The King of Kings”, Anne Graham Lotz is a Christian ambassador in the footsteps of her inspiring father. Pastor Steve Cioccolanti acknowledged her blog on his own Facebook page, “What a distinct honour. This only confirms when the Lord wants to reach people He will use even a donkey like me.”
