LoveMusic! - Worthy Of It All - Bethany Worhle | Bethel Music Worship

Worthy Of It All - Bethany Worhle

Bethel Music Worship

June 7, 2019

Greetings LoveMusic! listeners,

I am sure many, if not most of you, have heard the music these past few years coming out of Bethel Music Worship in Redding, California. Actually, since 2001 Bethany Church has been sharing the songs many of us are now singing Sunday mornings, in our cars, and on our playlists.

Along with Hillsong, United, Passion, and others that have joined the ranks of beloved worship music producers, songwriters, and worship leaders, beginning with the glory days of Integrity Music and Vineyard in the 1980s and 90s (which I still sing when leading worship!), this next generation is carrying on the batton in worshipping the Living God. Yes, Lord!

This Sunday our congregation gathering at Antioch International Church in Fort Mill, South Carolina, has this on the worship team song list. When we come to this favorite, you can believe I will be singing it loud and strong!

Let the praise of the Lord resonate in our hearts and come out our mouths!

We love you, Jesus! You are worthy of it all, Yeshua HaMashiach!

Ahava and shalom,

Steve Martin

Temple Mount Sifting Project Unveils Artifacts from Time of David - CBN News Chris Mitchell

Temple Mount Sifting Project Unveils Artifacts from Time of David

CBN News Chris Mitchell
JERUSALEM, Israel – Jerusalem’s Temple Mount has never been excavated, at least publicly.
However, an illegal construction project twenty years ago led to discoveries about its ancient past.
In 1999, the Islamic group responsible for the Temple Mount began construction on a large underground mosque.  They broke a law prohibiting unauthorized construction, and during the project dumped tons of debris into the Kidron Valley.
Israeli archaeologists began sifting through the debris in 2005 in hopes of finding artifacts that point back to the Jewish temple that once stood in Jerusalem.
Over the years, The Temple Mount Sifting Project has uncovered a treasure trove of artifacts.
“The Temple Mount Sifting Project is an archeological adventure whose purpose is to find the empirical proof of what was on the Temple Mount thousands of years ago,” Shlomo Zwickler from American Friends of Beit Orot told CBN News.
Throughout its history, more than a quarter of a million volunteers have worked on the sifting project making it the largest archeological project in history.
Since its beginning, the project has uncovered enormous archeological evidence.
“We have until now, approximately a half a million finds … the vast majority of the material is from the first temple period and on, starting in the 10th century B.C., which is the time of David and Solomon.  And that goes hand in hand with the biblical account,” the project’s director Gabi Barkay said.
While the sifting project began years ago, a new phase is just beginning.
“Fifty-two years ago right here on this hallowed ground that we’re standing on right now that one of the decisive battles of the six day war took place,” he told CBN News.  In fact, it was the battle just before the command was given to descend the Mount of Olives, cross the Kidron Valley and ascend the Temple Mount … for the first time in two thousand years."
Some believe the evidence from the project validates the Jewish claim and connection to the city of Jerusalem.
“It’s very simple.  There’s no project that (shows) his better than this one. It proves that everything that we said about it and dreamt about it and prayed about it is true,” said Zvi Koenigsberg
“And we know where we came from of course based on our faith, of course on our heritage but also based on the empirical evidence that we find based on where we were,” explained Zwickler.
Barkay says the importance of the Temple Mount to the Jewish people and to the world is profound.
“First of all, the Temple Mount is the soul, heart and spirit of the Jewish people.  It is mentioned and indicated more than twenty times in the New Testament.  It is a focal point in the ministry of Jesus.  And it should be one of the cornerstones of western civilization … it is also the archeological site number one in the country.  And probably one of the most important archeological sites of the world.”
Now they're sending out an open invitation for more to come.
“This sifting project is really going to be a major thing for people from around the world to put their hands into and work through soil that came in from the temple itself from some point in its history,” said Stephen Pfann of The University of the Holy Land.
Zwickler invites people everywhere to “come sift the dirt from two thousand years ago.  Come be part of history.  What was and also what will be.”

Rejection is a lying spirit that draws us into thinking in a way that is contrary to what the Word of God states. Rejection plagues most people and has been built up as a stronghold in many people's lives. It creates disunity in relationships, destroys destinies, and releases bitterness, resentment, and offense.

How Do We Conquer Rejection?

Acknowledging that you are suffering from rejection is the first step in removing this hindrance from your life. Recognizing rejecting thoughts, casting them down, and taking them captive will be instrumental in receiving your deliverance. Second Corinthians 10:5 (NASB) instructs us to "take every thought captive." In the Complete Jewish Bible, "taking the thought captive" actually means submitting the thought and making the thought obey Christ.

When thoughts of rejection come in, they must be submitted to the Word of God. Ask yourself: Does this thought line up with the Word of God or contradict what the Bible says about me and who I am? Rejection comes in through the words people speak to us or actions they take with regard to us. Rejection can also come from how we perceive a situation.

Our identity comes from God, not what people think.

We should desire to love and live in unity with people, but people are not where our identity should come from. Our identity comes from knowing who we are in Christ and whose we are. As we read the Bible and learn about our kingdom inheritance and our rightful position and authority in the kingdom, it will affirm us.

We will then take our eyes off the need for people's approval and know that we are accepted and loved by God. When we know that God accepts us and that we are living in the fullness of His love and power, no one can reject us.

Casting down the thoughts of what other people think is an ongoing battle. However, it is a battle you can conquer. When you are in God's presence, He will speak to you and reveal the lies that seem like reality. He will assist you in removing those lies through His Word.

Steps to Conquer Rejection

Pray and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal the pockets of rejection in your life.

Repent of where you have taken in rejection.

Declare: I am accepted and loved by God, and that is the real truth I need to believe.
Ask God to help you get over your need to feel accepted and approved by others.
Learn your identity in Christ through reading books and the Word of God.

Take every thought captive and cast out the ones that don't line up with the Word of God.
Each and every thought must be taken captive and cast down. Rejection builds up when we take those thoughts in and take ownership of such thoughts. Instead of casting them down, we take them in and allow them to build strongholds in us.

Each time we own thought and don't cast it down, it is part of a platform we build inside ourselves. We build up that rejection with each and every thought that comes our way. Rejection manifests because we don't take thoughts captive and dismiss them for what they are—lies and distortions of who we are.

The Bible says who you are and whose you are. Do you believe you are seated in heavenly places? When you renew your mind, when you close the doors to the lies and know you are accepted by God, then and only then will you not allow rejection to penetrate your heart and mind. Keep your heart and mind connected to Christ Jesus and what He says about you.
