Today's Israel Inspiration

So many of our readers wish there was a concrete way to protect Israel from "her enemies" during this frightening wave of terror. Arab teenagers are watching violent YouTube videos to learn the "best way" to kill Jews and Israelis, and then sharing the videos across Facebook. There is no reason that social media networks should allow murderous content that encourages and directly leads to terror attacks on the streets of Jerusalem and elsewhere. Please take a moment right now to click on the link below to help remove violent, anti-Israel content from YouTube and Facebook.

BBC HardTalk Gets Set Straight by Israeli

The leader of Israel's Yesh Atid party, Yair Lapid, scolded the BBC for their attempts to "justify" Arab stabbing and other terrorist attacks against Israeli Jews.

For centuries, residents of the land of Israel have known about the healing qualities of the mineral-rich Dead Sea. Today, you need not travel to the shores of the ancient Sea of Salt to partake in the rich minerals found in Dead Sea hand and foot creams.

Getting Things Done With the Holy Spirit - Dr. Steve Greene CHARISMA NEWS

Getting Things Done With the Holy Spirit

The key to effective organization is a good filing system.
A cottage industry was launched with the publication of David Allen's book, Getting Things Done. Allen's system is rich with ideas and tools for stress-free productivity. The system offers specific advice managing inboxes, to-do lists, projects, filing and calendar management.
The industry is commonly referred to as GTD. Google "GTD" and a list of how-to articles and a sea of apps will quickly appear on your monitor. Many people claim that GTD is cumbersome and difficult. The book was first published in 2002 and birthed as many loyalists as detractors.
According to Allen, "GTD is about creating mental space. You can't manage time. Time just is."
While I'm not a fan of the GTD system as a whole, I profited from learning about his filing system. Paper tends to clutter around me. I don't like to throw things away. I'm nervous I will need everything, every day.
The key to a good filing system is not getting stuff off the desk. It's all about quick retrieval. I once felt if I filed a document, I would never see it again. That feeling created piles of paper throughout my office. (I still fight my tendency to NOT file.)
But I have learned the value of fast retrieval.
When I need a document, I want it now. If I could regain the years I've wasted in "looking for stuff," I would live a full century.
Quick retrieval is a life skill. I believe it is a spiritual gift as well.
Every day we must retrieve priorities, intentions, prayer time, book pages and notes about what I need to retrieve.
I've been amazed and thankful of how the Holy Spirit reminds me of the Word which is hidden in my heart. When teaching, coaching or leading, I'm thankful for the Word that comes to me. I tend to speak from my own "Compiled Version" of the Bible as I have learned verses from many different translations. I'm not always sure which version the Holy Spirit is reminding me to use. But, it is useful in helping me to remember the approximate decade I learned the verses.
Lately, I've been more aware of my need to retrieve notes and ideas given to me by the Holy Spirit. I know when the Holy Spirit is leading me. I know His voice. And, I want to capture the takeaways. I want to keep His voice ringing in my ears. Lead me, Holy Spirit.
Slow me down.
Help me to set aside tech distractions.
Teach me to free my mind to "think on these things."
Guide me to quickly retrieve that which is of You.
"But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, will teach you everything and remind you of all that I told you" (John 14:26).

When Angels Manifest in the Form of Wind - CHARISMA NEWS

Let the Holy Spirit and God's joy infect your life!

When Angels Manifest in the Form of Wind

One of the times I've encountered angels was in the form of wind—and was probably the most intense experience I've had.
My husband, Robert John, and I were just engaged and decided to tithe together jointly for the first time. Though we weren't married, we decided to make our first tithe, our first gift, together. We were at his mom's house on the computer when we gave to a ministry online. As soon as we clicked "Donate Now" on the ministry's website it was as if all these high-powered fans started blowing in the room. It was a really intense encounter with the wind of heaven!
As the winds ripped through the room, we instantly felt filled and refreshed with the Holy Spirit and God's joy. There was an intense sense of God's pleasure with our unity, our unity in giving and our unity in giving to the kingdom. Because God loves it all—He loves our unity, He loves giving and He definitely loved what the ministry that we gave to was doing. He loved where our first tithe was going.
But there was also a sense that something was activated by that act of giving. We know from the Word that angels are dispatched on assignment. There was a connection to this action we had just taken as a couple, and now the angels were going to carry out the assignment on our behalf.
Shortly after this experience, I went to speak at a conference, and it was just nine days before we were to get married. For us, even our wedding was a step of faith. We were going to be newlyweds, and we were paying for the entire wedding ourselves. We were simply trusting God to cover the bills.
At this conference, completely unprompted, one of the other speakers got up and announced that I was getting married in nine days. It was just a fun moment. But afterward a couple who had traveled there all the way from Ireland came up to me and said, "Faytene, while that minister was sharing about you getting married, we really felt like we wanted to sow into the beginning of this new phase in life for you and your husband. If we want to make out a check, who would we make it out to?"
I was humbled and had no idea what they were going to do, but I gave them my bank information. They ended up wiring $10,000 into our new beginning!
It was the blessing of our Father, who wanted to bless us at the beginning of our new phase. Looking back, I believe there was something dispatched in the spirit realm through that joint act of giving, that first tithe we made as a couple.
For me, the manifestation of the wind is a confirmation of that. It was a fruit of the Father's goodness being poured out on us. We were able not only to get married, but also to get married with our entire wedding completely paid for. I believe the angels were involved in administrating that blessing!

Ron Cantor - VIDEO: The Roots of the Present Temple Mount Violence (Messiah's Mandate, Tel Aviv)

Why are Palestinians stabbing Israelis in the Streets?

The Roots of the Present Violence on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem

For the past several weeks there have been dozens of terror attacks by knife-wielding Palestinians. Why now? What triggered this present wave of terror? In this short video we expose the radical Islamic roots of what we are witnessing now in Israel. This has NOTHING to do with Israel limiting the rights of Muslims, and everything to do with Islamic depravity.

TESTIMONY: I had never been to Israel before and I wasn’t sure what to expect. Looking back, I can say that the tour Ron and Elana put together was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. Standing on the Mount of Olives, watching Ron teach on the end times, while gazing at the very place where Jesus will return, brought the Bible to life. And the fact that we were able to meet Israeli believers and worship with them differentiated this tour from most others. Gazing over my balcony over the Sea of Galilee, imagining Jesus walking on the water, feeding the 5,000 and calming the storms was a memory that will never leave me.
I highly recommend Ron and Elana’s Living Stones tour.

Phil Keaggy – "Time" Lyrics
Well He hasn't always been around
And He won't always be.
But He's on the move at this moment
Measuring life for you and me.

I fear we all submit to him
Existing anxiously,
And no one is able to turn him off
Except the Lord who holds the key.

When the Lord stops him, that'll be it,
Too late for apologies.
Too late to forgive your brother,
Too late to get on your knees.
When the Lord stops him, that'll be it,
Too late to help the needy
And worst of all it's too late to turn
You must face eternity.

His name is Time and he's coming to an end.
His name is Time where will you be my friend?
His name is Time and he's coming to an end.

His name is Time where will you be my friend?

Most people think he'll never stop
He'll go on perpetually,
But old man time is running out
And he'll cease eventually.

Paul Clark is a musician who was involved in the Jesus music movement and early contemporary Christian music industry, still continues to travel the road less traveled by writing and recording songs from dialogue above and beneath the white noise of mainstream pop Christian worship. He was born in Kansas City [1] and recorded his first album in 1971, Songs from the Saviour Vol 1.[2] Its songs became one of the first signs of the growing "Jesus Movement" of the early 70s.
He went on to record a further albums including Songs From The Savior - Volume Two, Come Into His Presence and Good To Be Home with Paul Clark and Friends (including Phil Keaggy, Jay Truax, John Mehler, Bill speer, Mike Burhart, and more), then launched the well received, award winning 1977 album Hand to the Plow. In 1978 he followed up with Change in the Wind and in 1980 with Aim for the Heart. These three albums had some jazz influences and were well-produced in the context of other Christian music of the time. Aim for the Heart featured Abraham Laboriel on bass along with Harlan Rogers, Hadley Hockensmith and Bill Maxwell and was certainly jazz influenced. Those four went on to become members of Koinonia jazz band from 1982 till about 1990.
Clark is recognized as one of the founding fathers of the Jesus Movement and the contemporary Christian music industry.[3] During his 13-year association with Word Records in the 1970s and 1980s, Clark's songwriting, record producing and performances placed him in the forefront along with artists like Phil Keaggy2nd Chapter of ActsLove Song,Larry NormanAndraé CrouchHoneytreeKeith GreenRandy StonehillBarry McGuire, and many notable others.
He is also interested in fine art photography and entering 2010 is currently working on two new CD projects and releasing two books.
