To Seek Out A Matter - Jesus' (Yeshua's) Name on the Barn Roof - Now Think On This by Steve Martin

To Seek Out A Matter
- Jesus' (Yeshua's) Name on the Barn Roof

June 14, 2019

Greetings Love For His People friends and Now Think On This readers,

As the Lord gives us dreams, visions, and prophetic words (as promised He would), we must be diligent in seeking what He is saying to us, and not dismiss them as "odd, weird, not understandable". He enjoys giving these opportunities to us in order for us to know and walk in His ways. It is our choice whether we will seek further understanding or not.

"God gets glory from concealing things; kings get glory from investigating things." (Proverbs 25:2, Complete Jewish Bible)

I share the following email written on June 14, 2019, with you, for your consideration too and further thought, as I shared it previously with others.

Ahava and shalom,

Steve Martin

Liz,

In further prayer in regards to the word/vision you received during our staff prayer time on Tuesday, June 11, 2019, of the Lord wanting us to "paint or place His Name on the roof of the Barn, for all to see", I am not wanting to simply dismiss it, as does happen at times due to lack of understanding or unbelief. I am believing it was given to us and for us to seek His thoughts more certainly. And so I have. These are my thoughts.

1. The Lord says that His Name is over Jerusalem, as He has chosen it to be as such. It is He Himself Who has placed His Name there.

1 Kings 14:21, "Now Rehoboam the son of Solomon reigned in Judah. Rehoboam was forty-one years old when he became king, and he reigned seventeen years in Jerusalem, the city which the Lord had chosen from all the tribes of Israel to put His name there." NASU

Also in Ezra 6:12,  "May the God who has caused His name to dwell there overthrow any king or people who attempts to change it, so as to destroy this house of God in Jerusalem. I, Darius, have issued this decree, let it be carried out with all diligence!" NASU

Being He has chosen Jerusalem to put His Name there, we know it is a very special place. He thus has chosen to dwell there and will return there,

In my spirit, what I put forth in consideration is that what you saw in the spirit is that the Lord is also putting His Name on this place, and it is thus a very place. Not just some ordinary "barn", but as barns are known for gathering and storing until the time for planting, and then gathering/storing the harvest is done, so will this place be.

Hag 2:19, "I am giving you a promise now while the seed is still in the barn. You have not yet harvested your grain, and your grapevines, fig trees, pomegranates, and olive trees have not yet produced their crops. But from this day onward I will bless you." New Living Translation

Antioch International Church, The Barn May 2019
I believe that as we have heard additionally previous prophetic words, some even by you under the move of the Holy Spirit on other occasions, this place, the Barn, has spring(s) of Living Water that the Lord has placed here. He put them there in the days of Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker, and though the enemy has tried repeatedly to send disrepute, destruction, and despair among the Lord's people because of what is here, the Lord is telling us again that He has chosen this place, this Barn, as a place where His Name does yet dwell.

I believe He has never given up on this place, even as He has never given up on Jerusalem. Once He chooses, it will never be forsaken or left to destruction, but will (has been) restored for His end-time purposes.

We can take it a step further and consider that even as He is returning His Chosen Ones to Israel (aliyah), He will/is bringing back His people, in this area, to this place, even as we must remain steadfast in preparing for those days which are coming to this place, the Barn.

With that said, I again share these prophetic actions that the Lord has given me in the last month also, that I believe relates to what He has spoken through you.

Be blessed, Liz, as you remain faithful to hear, see, and to boldly speak!

Steve

There Really Is Power in the Name of Jesus - KATHY DEGRAW CHARISMA NEWS

Would you call upon the name of Jesus if placed in a life-or-death situation?

There Really Is Power in the Name of Jesus

I always believed if I ever came upon in a situation where danger was imminent, I would shout out the name of Jesus to save my life. But when actually confronted with such a situation would I—could I—actually do it?
My question was, "Would I remember to do it?" When confronted with immediate danger, you don't have time to pray. That may sound different coming from a Christian, but it is truth! God's Word tells us to, "Speak to our mountain," (Matt. 21:21) and "Death and life are in the power of the tongue," (Prov. 18:21).
When we study God's Word, it teaches us about the spoken word of God.  It talks about what we, "say." It is the words we speak out that are powerful! The strongest word we can possibly speak out is the name of Jesus. One word. One name—the name of our Lord and Savior.
In Proverbs 18:10, "The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe."
The name of Jesus saves! Not just as our deliverer and redeemer, but as our protector (Ps. 91). As I have loved studying from the Complete Jewish Bible (CJB), I read that translation and love it for this verse. Proverbs 18:10 in the CJB reads, "The name of Adonai is a strong tower; a righteous person runs to it and is raised high [above danger]."
The name of Jesus does raise us high above danger when we call out His name! I have read Destined for Dominion, a book on power and authority. It speaks of our power and authority in the name of Jesus.
In the past, I have and I am sure some of you have heard people calling on the name of Jesus as a rapist was about to attack them, as a child was about to get in an accident, as a robber was approaching them and other times where violent attacks, crimes or accidents were attempting to invade their lives. But when confronted with such a situation would you remember or act on the name of Jesus, or would you freeze up and forget what to do?
The name of Jesus heals, sets free, saves, delivers and much more. The name of Jesus can cast out a demon. It can take an evil spirit that has invaded someone's life and by the name of Jesus that spirit has to disembody the person! That is a miracle to be able to cast out a demon of a person. That is the power of Jesus' name. The power of His name creates miracles.
As we were driving in treacherous road conditions on the way to a ministry trip in Nebraska, we found ourselves in unfavorable road conditions. My friend Carolyn (50) and I (46), at the time, had never driven in such perilous conditions. As we were driving on snow and ice with snow continually coming down and poor visibility, all of a sudden a semi-trailer began to jackknife right in front of us. With the road conditions, slamming on brakes was not an option. As we saw this semi turning sideways on the highway and spreading out over all 3 lanes, we did not know if we would be able to stop in time and miss hitting him. We knew we were in trouble and started shouting out the name of Jesus.
We didn't pray! We didn't have time to pray, "Oh Father please save us, come to your children and so on" I am not saying there is anything wrong with praying. I do pray daily. But in this case, we simply did not have time. We had time to call on the name of Jesus, like a strong tower, to run into his righteousness and save us! Carolyn, decreed out the words, "God protect us."
There was a parked police car on the side of the highway and the semi headed directly for the driver door with the police officer in his car. All of a sudden I called out, "I send angels to that police car right now, in the name of Jesus" and I kept speaking out the name of Jesus into the atmosphere.
As those angels went forth and the name of Jesus was being released into the atmosphere, suddenly we saw something that amazed us. The semi, which was partially jackknifed and directly in front of us, straightened out and missed the police car 2 feet away from it. Carolyn maintained control of the van while each vehicle—ours, the semi and the police car—received no damage. No one even stopped.
The name of Jesus lifted us high above danger! Praise God!
I believe I was able to call out the name of Jesus in that incident because I knew the power of Jesus' name. I had heard stories and testimonies of the power of His name. I had read books on my identity in Christ and, when He died and descended to hell for me and then on the third day ascended into heaven, He transferred His power of attorney to me. That's right. His Word says in Luke 10:19, "Look, I give you authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. And nothing shall by any means hurt you."
He has given me power and authority. He has given you power and authority. We have to know the power and authority we have been given in His name. Like a person who awards power of attorney to another person to make decisions and act on his behalf, Jesus Christ has given us power of attorney and power and authority to operate in His name.
Knowing the name of Jesus, the power and authority it holds and how we are to use it comes from knowing our identity in Christ. We must know our identity in Christ. You must know who you are in Christ, that you are valuable, that you are of the kingdom, that you are from a world that cannot be shaken. In Acts 2:25, it says, "For David says concerning Him: 'I foresaw the Lord always before me, for He is at my right hand, that I may not be shaken.'" We must know the name and power of Jesus.
We must know our authority. There will be times in our life when we will need to call on His name.

The Rapture - Now Think On This by Steve Martin

The Rapture
Now Think On This
Steve Martin

“Now, brothers, we want you to know the truth about those who have died; otherwise, you might become sad the way other people do who have nothing to hope for. For since we believe that Yeshua died and rose again, we also believe that in the same way God, through Yeshua, will take with him those who have died. When we say this, we base it on the Lord’s own word: we who remain alive when the Lord comes will certainly not take precedence over those who have died.

For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a rousing cry, with a call from one of the ruling angels, and with God’s shofar; those who died united with the Messiah will be the first to rise; then we who are left still alive will be caught up with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and thus we will always be with the Lord. So encourage each other with these words.” (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 Complete Jewish Bible)

Being caught up along with many to meet our Lord in the air will happen. Christians know it as the rapture, though that word is not found in the Bible. Scripture does declare, plain and simple, that the Lord Jesus (Yeshua) will come back, at the sound of the shofar (trumpet) to have His own meet Him in the air. We are to encourage one another with these hopeful and sound words, as the Apostle Paul states in his message to the Thessalonians. Paul was inspired by the Holy Spirit to do so, as they had become fearful of being left behind. Thus we can count on it happening. But when on the prophetic timeline will it happen? That has become a big question.

In 1 Corinthians 15 Paul writes to the believers at Corinth this message, that also sheds more light on this glorious event. “Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed — in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: "Death is swallowed up in victory."

"O Death, where is your sting?
O Hades, where is your victory?"

The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.” (1 Corinthians 15:50-58 NKJV)

The question remains then about the timing. For it is not IF the rapture happens, of being caught up, but WHEN will it happen? When will it come, and the Lord's glorious return?

This has been a hot topic in the Church for the last two centuries, as theologians began connecting it to the Tribulation time period, those seven years when the Lord’s wrath is to be righteously poured out upon the evil people of earth. But is it to be connected to the Tribulation? The early church fathers didn’t necessarily put the two together, though Paul says it will occur at the last trumpet. The apostle John speaks of the trumpets, once you get to Revelation Chapter 11. So, there remains some uncertainty even amongst the brethren.

I have heard the arguments for a pre-Trib, a mid-Trib, a post-Trib, and now even a partial-Trib. Whichever stance you take, it does determine now how you are living your life. To me, that is what should be our main concern - not just the timing of this coming supernatural event.

Those who are believing that there will be a “pre-Trib rapture” tend to watch current news, declare that the nations are going to hell; that they deserve any and all judgments coming upon them, so bring it on. They themselves believe that they will be taken out of here prior to these disastrous events, and thus will avoid all that. So they sit back and do nothing. Carry on with life as is.

What does that position and attitude say then about the Lord’s commandment to occupy where we live, while also taking the Gospel to our nation and the other nations? What about being actively involved in His kingdom’s business? In my spiritual world, that “pre-trib” position doesn’t line up with the Lord’s heart revealed in a vast majority of Scripture.

If another position is taken, (of when the rapture’s moment in time comes) it does affect how you view people’s lives, and whether you will take an offensive or defensive posture in your daily faith walk. I find that those who understand what the Lord’s beating heart is, to save as many as possible, do act with mission and purpose, preparing themselves and others to be “rescue boats”, rather than just putting on the life vest and waiting to jump (up, in this case.)

For me, I’d rather have my spirit, soul and body prepared for the more likely plan - of the Lord’s purpose to have a Holy Spirit empowered Body of Christ on the earth, during these current tribulations that many even now are already going through, and also being on board to serve in Holy Spirit fired love during the great Tribulation. I can wrap my brain around that one, and live my life in such a way that I am pushing forward, and not sitting around.

What you believe now will determine how you act now, and in the days to come. I would encourage you to act in faith at all times, anticipating that we will be here as the Lord’s light, shining through our hands and feet during the darkest times. We will be actively participating in  His assigned work that will be given to each of us.

And, if we are martyred along the way, which I fully expect to happen in my life, we will instantly be with Him in heaven. It’s a win, win situation.

This is our glorious hope - having His love in our lives, which has saved us for eternity with Him, and sharing that love, along with all fellow believers, on earth as it is in heaven.

RISE UP O men and women of the Almighty, Living God of Israel! He is coming back, as the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, for a prepared and alive Bride -  not for some cowardly, unbelieving  christians cowering in a corner, getting ready to abandon ship!

Maranatha Lord Jesus! Come on!

Whose building are you building? Steve Martin

I am surrounded by those whose pride is in buildings they raise, which may last maybe 70 years, if that. I am humbled by the fact that my building will last for eternity. I have learned where to focus my efforts, and Whose building I am to be building.

What we build now will be what we have when we go on from here. If it is still standing.

Whose building are you building?

Matthew 7:24-27

Complete Jewish Bible (CJB)
24 “So, everyone who hears these words of mine and acts on them will be like a sensible man who built his house on bedrock. 25 The rain fell, the rivers flooded, the winds blew and beat against that house, but it didn’t collapse, because its foundation was on rock. 26 But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not act on them will be like a stupid man who built his house on sand. 27 The rain fell, the rivers flooded, the wind blew and beat against that house, and it collapsed — and its collapse was horrendous!”
