Scott Nary: "Jephthah Awakening – Men Returning to Masculinity" THE ELIJAH LIST

Scott Nary: "Jephthah Awakening – Men Returning to Masculinity"  THE ELIJAH LIST Nov 3, 2017
Steve Shultz     Intro from Jennifer LeClaire:
Scott Nary is a prophetic evangelist who travels the nations demonstrating the power of God. He's a "man's man", having left a career as a trainer in the NFL and NHL to pursue God's will to see a great harvest come into the Church.
Scott and his wife are dear friends who I co-labor with in ministry. This is a bold word, but one that needs to be released in this hour!

"I am raising up a Jephthah generation of men to be pillars in the next great awakening. These men will be full of valor and be the complete personification of masculinity. They will be men after My own heart and they will be fully confident in who they are in Me, and they will have a heart for the children and the children will have a heart for them. They will instruct sons in how to be men and the sons will take over where the Jephthahs left off."
A Falling Away of Masculinity
The Spirit spoke clearly to me that, "In the beginning, I made man in My image and likeness, and I took Eve out of Adam. Male is fully to be male and female is to be fully female. I am releasing the call to awaken the men of God in My house!
"There has been a falling away of masculinity in My house, and I am raising up a new breed of Spirit-filled, masculine saints of God, who will step up to the plate and lead their homes and be a rock for their communities. I am bringing forth a revival of manliness back into My house. Men will act like men and will not be overtaken by Ahab any longer.
"These men will love their families with their full heart. They will honor their wives and be chivalrous once more. These men will lead Bible studies and be the first to volunteer in their churches. Oh, I am calling forth the real men to stand up and see My goodness!
"True masculinity is found in King Jesus"
"An awakening of masculinity will take place in My house and these men will come alongside My intercessors. No more will it be only those who are female that war in intercession for Me. I am releasing the Jephthah generation on men. Just as Jephthah's very name means 'to open' I will use these men to help open the next move of My Spirit.
The Warrior Men Are Arising!
"The men I am rising up will not consult their pasts to decide their futures. These men will have a confidence in themselves that only comes from Me. I will magnify My anointing on their lives so that all of those who are 'empty' with no purpose or goals in life will be drawn to these Jephthahs. They will become transformed in their heart and in their purpose.
"When people see the once "empty" men that were with no vision and no ambition changed into leaders and pillars in their society, they will seek out answers from them. These men will share their faith in Me with a boldness like a lion, and they will once again spearhead a local church evangelism movement that will produce disciples of valor.
The Spirit said, "The men who walk in My strength will be slow to speak and quick to hear. These men will not be social media gossips or cause confusion with My people. My heart will be clear through them. The Jephthah anointing will cause men to mean what they say and say what they mean. These men will be leaders, and kindness will be at the forefront. Yes, masculinity will once more be celebrated in America.
"The warriors are rising...the Jephthah generation is waking up! Men who are men and men who are after My own heart. These men will see My goodness and will lead from that vantage point. The awakening of the Jephthah generation in men will start as men see My goodness. As they truly behold how much I love them and love others, they will arise to being valiant and bold. Just as Jephthah lived in Tob (Good), These men will see that I am good in all things and their hearts will be smitten and transformed to be strong in Me and the power of My might. (Photo via Pinterest)
"The men are rising up...pillars in My house."
Jephthah, a Mighty Man of Valor
Jephthah was a mighty man of valor in spite of his background, for he was born from a harlot. In Judges 11:1-8 NKJV, the story unfolds:
"Now Jephthah the Gileadite was a mighty man of valor, but he was the son of a harlot; and Gilead begot Jephthah. Gilead's wife bore sons; and when his wife's sons grew up, they drove Jephthah out, and said to him, 'You shall have no inheritance in our father's house, for you are the son of another woman.' Then Jephthah fled from his brothers and dwelt in the land of Tob; and worthless men banded together with Jephthah and went out raiding with him. It came to pass after a time that the people of Ammon made war against Israel.
"And so it was, when the people of Ammon made war against Israel, that the elders of Gilead went to get Jephthah from the land of Tob. Then they said to Jephthah, 'Come and be our commander, that we may fight against the people of Ammon.' So Jephthah said to the elders of Gilead, 'Did you not hate me, and expel me from my father's house? Why have you come to me now when you are in distress?' And the elders of Gilead said to Jephthah, 'That is why we have turned again to you now, that you may go with us and fight against the people of Ammon, and be our head over all the inhabitants of Gilead.'"
ElijahList Prophetic Resources
This story shows that Jephthah was born in the midst of abandonment. He was the son of a harlot and Gilead was the father. As Jephthah grew, his half-brothers literally pushed him out of his home and out of his inheritance.
Jephthah was known as a mighty man of valor, but he didn't become that way until he faced persecution and the left foot of fellowship and rejected by his peers. He went to a land called Tob and men who the Bible denotes as "worthless" came unto him to be part of his raiding band of misfits. What is amazing in all of this is that he went to a land called Tob, which literally means "good". The "worthless" fellows that came to him literally means "empty".
Many have differing opinions of what masculinity means, but true masculinity is found in King Jesus. King Jesus is the masculine Gospel. "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends" (John 15:13 KJV).
"The warriors are rising...the Jephthah generation is waking up!"
King Jesus proved that true masculinity is seen in laying down yourself for someone other than you. True masculinity is being courageous in the midst of adversity. Masculinity is what makes a man a man, and there has been an attack on manliness in the modern church.
Men and an Awakening in the Modern Church
In the modern church, the ladies are the ones who volunteer the most, they serve as main intercessors and the males shy away from prayer. The ladies are even the first ones many pastors call on to volunteer because they know that they will step up to the plate and help lead the Church because many of the men aren't committed to serving.
This goes on while many men sit in the church pew not feeling confident to step up and serve, or in all actuality have no desire to lead because they would rather be on the golf course or at the football game or behind a video game controller wasting time while their wives serve in a leadership capacity at the local church. This grieves the Father!
Many young men in church are less motivated to move out of their homes and many lack the confidence or ambition to dream big. It has been said that the greatest generation as we know it was the generation that fought during World War 2. These men and women knew what it meant to be masculine and feminine, and in doing so they rallied our great country to victory. (Photo via Wikipedia)
It seems that today in the modern church many young men have succumbed to Ahab, and they lay around feeling sorry for themselves and have the entitlement mentality that they deserve something for free for which they did not work for. These same young and even older males want everyone to pursue them instead of them pursuing others. In relationships, these males want the female to come after them, and even in getting a good job many expect the jobs to just pop right out of thin air.
Many women are frustrated today because they all are looking for real men and haven't been able to find them. That is all about to change! God is restoring men to His original intent – to be leaders and providers in their communities representing God's heart to their families and sphere of influence.
Men of God are rising up and not shying away from embracing their masculinity. Men will be men once again in the Body of Christ. The Jephthah awakening has begun!

ISRAEL TODAY REPORT: Israeli Girl Who Fought ISIS Comes to Faith in Yeshua - Israel Today Staff

REPORT: Israeli Girl Who Fought ISIS Comes to Faith in Yeshua

Wednesday, January 06, 2016 |  Israel Today Staff

UPDATE: The video and written report from Trumpet of Salvation have been removed.
The Israeli Messianic ministry Trumpet of Salvation is reporting that Gill Rosenberg, the Canadian-Israeli girl who gained renown for joining the Kurds in their fight against ISIS, has come to faith in Yeshua. The video above is said to have been taken at her recent baptism.
Rosenberg made headlines last year after returning to Israel following a “tour of duty” with the Kurdish peshmerga in Iraq and Syria. She was one of the first foreigners, and certainly the first foreign woman, to join the Kurds in their desperate fight against ISIS.
Rosenberg had earlier immigrated alone to Israel, where she served in the IDF. She was later extradited to the US and jailed over her role in an international phone scam.
Rosenberg told Israel’s Channel 2 News that helping the Kurds was her chance to “turn my life around and do something good for a change.”
While her travel to an enemy nation, which also violated her parole conditions, threatened to put Rosenberg in hot water with Israeli authorities, she was ultimately not charged over what most in Israel saw as a brave and heroic decision.
Many believers would say Rosenberg’s reported decision to follow Yeshua was equally, if not more, courageous.

Courageous Israeli Arabs Honor Slain American Christian - Israel Today Staff

Courageous Israeli Arabs
Honor Slain American Christian

Tuesday, December 15, 2015 |  Israel Today Staff

Three courageous and outspoken Israeli Arab young men were on hand this week to help honor Kristine Luken, an American Christian tourist who was brutally murdered by Palestinian terrorists in 2010.
Luken had been visiting her Israeli friend, Kay Wilson, and the two were hiking south of Jerusalem when they were set upon by the knife-wielding terrorists.
Wilson, who miraculously survived the attack despite being stabbed 17 times, has recounted the harrowing ordeal on numerous occasions.
Every year, Wilson has paid tender tribute to her slain friend, but this year was extra special for the reason she describes in the Facebook post below.

Christian Baseball Hero Daniel Murphy Lambasted for Stance on Gays - CHARISMA NEWS

Christian Baseball Hero Daniel Murphy Lambasted for Stance on Gays

Daniel Murphy has accomplished something no one else in baseball history has done. Not Babe Ruth, or Hank Aaron, or Mickey Mantle. He has hit home runs in six consecutive postseason games. His latest helped the Mets defeat the Cubs and earn their first trip to the World Series in fifteen years.
But Murphy is making headlines beyond his baseball heroics. Reporters are replaying an incident that occurred last spring, when he made this statement regarding homosexuality: "I do disagree with the lifestyle, 100 percent." Critics are deriding him today for such "intolerance."
But here's how Murphy explained his statement: "Maybe, as a Christian, we haven't been as articulate enough in describing what our actual stance is on homosexuality. We love the people. We disagree with the lifestyle. That's the way I would describe it for me. It's the same way that there are aspects of my life that I'm trying to surrender to Christ."
Humble courage is essential to Christian witness today. In our culture, believers face criticism and slander for their biblical convictions. In other cultures, they face far worse. A Catholic charity has released a report on the "deepening plight of Christians" around the world. It states that "Christians are fast disappearing from entire regions" and warns of "the very real possibility that Christianity could soon all but disappear from much of its ancient homeland."
Radical Islamists are behind much of this rise in persecution. And their ideology is spreading far beyond the Middle East. For instance, eight men in Cologne, Germany, were charged with looting churches and schools to give money to ISIS. The former commander of Britain's chemical, biological, and nuclear weapons regiment is warning that ISIS will "inevitably" gain and use weapons of mass destruction.
Jesus warned us: "If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you" (John 15:20). Those who hate God hate the people of God. Satan knows that he cannot attack our Father, so he attacks God's children. As Dietrich Bonhoeffer wrote and proved, discipleship comes at a cost—always.
The next time you face opposition for your faith, remember these biblical statements:
  • "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go" (Joshua 1:9).
  • When facing enemies, "fear not, nor be afraid of them, for the Lord your God, it is He who goes with you. He will not fail you, nor forsake you" (Deuteronomy 31:6).
  • In an immoral culture, "Watch, stand fast in the faith, be bold like men, and be strong" (1 Corinthians 16:13).
  • Courage is a strong witness when we are "not frightened by your adversaries. This is a sign to them of their destruction, but of your salvation, and this from God" (Philippians 1:28).
  • When you are called to defend your faith, "the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what you should say" (Luke 12:12).
Martin Luther King, Jr. was right: "We must constantly build dikes of courage to hold back the flood of fear." Theologian A. A. Hodge observed, "It is easier to find a score of men wise enough to discover the truth than to find one intrepid enough, in the face of opposition, to stand up for it."

Jerusalem Inspiration

Throughout the book of Joshua, the Children of Israel are told “to be strong” and “to be courageous.” It is significant that this command applies to both spiritual tasks, such as observing the entire Torah of Moses, and to physical tasks, such as fighting battles in the Land of Israel. A complete national life requires both spiritual and physical strength. In today’s Israeli army, there are many soldiers who exemplify this through their devotion to both Torah study and to military service. These students and graduates of Zionist seminaries are both courageous soldiers and Torah scholars, and serve as role models for all. Today, these righteous soldiers are standing between the people of Israel and violent terrorists who want to eradicate the Jewish State. American Friends of LIBI gives IDF soldiers the support, assistance, and tools they need to defend their nation. Help strengthen Israel's first line of defense against terror - the IDF!

In Violent Jerusalem Tug-of-War, Biblical Prophecy Unfolding Before Our Eyes

The nations of the world are increasing their efforts to weaken or remove Jewish sovereignty in Jerusalem. Is this a fulfillment of Zechariah 12:3’s prophecy that, at the End of Days, the nations of the earth will gather against Jerusalem?

Millions of Christians Send Clear Message to Hollywood

Millions of Christians Send Clear Message to Hollywood

It's not often that a film centered on the power of prayer breaks big box-office numbers. But that's exactly the case with War Room, a new movie that tells the story of a marital crisis overcome by prayer. War Room, made for just $3 million, has now raked in more than $50 million after capturing the No. 1 spot earlier this month.
And War Room, from the creators of CourageousFireproof and Facing the Giants, is not alone. An influx of family-friendly, faith-based films is hitting the big screen this fall, including Captive, featuring the Emmy-nominated David Oyelowo and Kate Mara. The two star in the faith-based crime drama that opened on Sept. 18, where Oyelowo plays a killer on the run and Mara is his drug-addicted hostage. But underneath the gritty storyline, faith plays a significant role.
Then next month, the football drama Woodlawn, starring Academy Award winner Jon Voight and Sean Astin, follows a remarkable true story about how love and unity, fueled by spiritual revival, overcame racism and hate in Alabama in the early 1970s. Opening Oct. 16, the film is already creating buzz.
American Family Association, which often champions for family-friendly entertainment, says the attention to faith-based films this fall is evidence that Christian moviegoers are sending a message about the kind of entertainment they want to see in Hollywood. AFA adds that these faith-based, "good news" films will have an indelible impact on kids, families and society.
"American Family Association takes on many heavy issues in society, but we like to go to the movies too," said AFA President Tim Wildmon. "When entertainment, however, tears down our society and is a negative influence on our kids, we feel we must step in. At the same time, when there are wonderful options for families to watch together, we want to bring these films to the attention of everyone. For decades, the big screen has been dominated by violence, sex, drugs and crime. But this fall, there is a bit of light, and families whose dollars are driven by their values will have some great movie picks this fall. Hopefully, this trend is a glimpse of things to come and our culture will show some evidence of the impact."
Likewise, AFA's own film debut, Summer Snow, went international this summer, with screenings in several countries around the world, including Spain, Brazil, Germany and Turkey, with interest from South Africa, the United Kingdom, Australia and more. Released in the summer of 2014 by American Family Studios, a division of AFA,Summer Snow saw great success in the theater, on DVD and in its television debut on UPtv.
Starring David Chisum, Cameron Goodman, Garrett Backstrom, Brett Rice and Rachel Eggleston, Summer Snow tells the story of 8-year-old Hallie Benson (Eggleston), a small girl with a very big heart. Whether baking cookies for a grumpy neighbor or selling toothbrushes to help a friend, Hallie always thinks of others. Unfortunately, her "creative" ways of helping people often leave her father, Dan (Chisum), with a mess to clean up. Dan struggles to keep it all together after his wife's death. He doesn't cook, do hair or know how to help his three children without his beautiful wife and her unshakeable faith in God.
This past weekend at Values Voter Summit in Washington, D.C., where several AFA representatives were featured speakers and moderators, attendees had the opportunity for a sneak peek of Woodlawn, as well as Beyond the Farthest Star, which tells the story of a Democratic senator who burns a courthouse nativity and brings the national spotlight to a forgotten Texas town and a once-famous preacher.
