Donald Trump Gives $10,000 To Pastor Saeed Abedini’s Family - Conservative Tribune

Donald Trump Gives $10,000 To Pastor’s Family

Conservative Tribune  Oct. 29, 2016

Four years ago, Iranian-American Christian pastor Saeed Abedini was unfairly detained in Iran and tossed into Evin Prison, where he remained until Jan. 16 of this year, when the rogue regime released him and other hostages in exchange for ransom reportedly paid by the U.S. government.

On Oct 21., Abedini posted an update on his Facebook page announcing that he had just voted for GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump — and that, more importantly, Trump had donated $10,000 to his family while he was locked up in Iran.
“I am finally free in a free country,” he wrote. “Last year on the same day I was sick and in chains for Christ, and now I can vote to choose my next president.”
“And most amazingly, I can vote for someone that I know fought for me and called my name so many times,” he continued. “He met my family and gave them a $10,000 gift.”
He added that unlike Trump, Democrat nominee Hillary Clinton had never once either mentioned him or contacted his family.
“As a woman who says she stands for women’s rights when she was foreign minister, she never contacted my mom, wife, sister or my daughter,” he wrote. “She never did anything to help when I was in prison as an American pastor who was detained in Iran as a hostage.”
Read his full post below:
In another post published two days later, this one about the relation between King Cyrus of Persia and Trump, the pastor added these three powerful words: “Vote for Trump.”
He also explained how God had chosen King Cyrus to “save Israel” (see the Old Testament book of Ezra) — and how he was now doing the same with Trump.
“Yahweh used (the king) mightily in history as the king of Persia to save Israel,” he wrote. “Persia or Arian was the first country in history to support Israel. While the United States is the most powerful empire in the world, there is a spiritual lesson here standing with Israel.”
“Donald Trump supports Israel,” he added. “Although giving lip service in order to appeart (sic) politically correct, Hillary Clinton does not.”

Persecuted Pastor Urges Christians to Vote for Donald Trump - BOB ESCHLIMAN CHARISMA NEWS

Persecuted Pastor Urges Christians to Vote for Donald Trump

BOB ESCHLIMAN  CHARISMA NEWS
Persecuted pastor Saeed Abedini, who hasn't been afraid to share his thoughts—and what God is speaking to him—about the 2016 presidential election, issued the following statement earlier this week via his Facebook page:
So many people make decisions for their future by looking at decisions they made in the past. This is not looking at life the way God does. When God looks at us He looks with the eyes of Mercy of Grace.
In the past few months, we have seen how the media is attacking to Donald Trump's past. I have even heard so many people said he is not a Christian. Of course, only God knows this for sure, but what I see is God is using him and anointed him. It seems to me that he is the Cyrus of our modern day, but like you and me, he is a flawed man, in the process of spiritual growth.
As a nation, I believe we are in an unfolding process, too. History recounts the story of the King Cyrus of Persia, my native country. I believe God raised up this man for His great mission.
We don't know Cyrus' spiritual condition, but we know Yahweh used him mightily in history as the king of Persia to save Israel. Persia or Arian was the first country in history to support Israel. While the United States is the most powerful empire in the world, there is a spiritual lesson here standing with Israel. Donald Trump supports Israel. Although giving lip service in order to appear politically correct, Hillary Clinton does not.
As I said in my previous post on Facebook, God used kings in the Old Testament to accomplish His purposes. When we hear that this candidate or that candidate is not a strong Christian or has a past that disqualifies him to be the president of the United States, my answer is that we are a nation, a people who are also sinners, saved by grace.
First, we should be truthful about our own walk with God. Instead of worrying about others' spiritual growth, we should humbly come before God in repentance and humility. Then we should trust His providence to raise up leaders who honor Him. Judging is not our business; this is God's business and, throughout history, even through leaders like Cyrus, God has demonstrated that He always does His business well.
Jesus went to the cross and paid the punishment of our sin. Before we were even born, He shed his blood. Redemption is God's specialty.
We all are under God's construction and He definitely knows how to finish and equip for the future what He has already started. For these reasons, I trust God. And as far as the decision this nation is facing and given the choice that faces us, I trust Donald J. Trump.
3 Reasons Why you should read Life in the Spirit. 1) Get to know the Holy Spirit. 2) Learn to enter God's presence 3) Hear God's voice clearly! Go deeper!

Pastor Saeed Abedini Released from Iranian Prison!

BREAKING NEWS - CBN NEWS

Saeed Abedini Released from Iranian Prison
Saturday, 01-16-2016

Iran has released four imprisoned U.S citizens, including American Pastor Saeed Abedini, as part of a trade, according to an Iranian news media.
A report by the semi-official ISNA news agency quoted a statement from the Tehran prosecutor's office as saying the inmates were freed "within the framework of exchanging prisoners." It did not elaborate.
U.S. officials would not immediately confirm the announcement, but they had indicated a prisoner deal would be separate from Saturday's expected "implementation" of the landmark nuclear deal.
The American Center for Law and Justice confirmed the release.
"We can confirm. He has been released," said Jordan Sekulow with the ACLJ.
Nagmeh Abedini. Saeed's wife, also wrote on her Facebook page that "It is confirmed: Saeed is released!!!"
Pastor Saeed Abedini was detained for sharing his faith in September 2012. He was sentenced in 2013 to eight years in prison. His family said he was beaten and denied medical treatment while in the Iranian prison.
At time of arrest, he was running an orphanage in Iran which the government knew about.
Washington Post journalist Jason Rezaian, Former U.S. Marine Amir Hekmati of Flint, and Siamak Namazi, a businessman and the son of a politician from the shah's era, were also released. All four are dual U.S.-Iranian citizens.
U.S. officials say the four Americans were to be flown from Iran to Switzerland on a Swiss plane and then brought to a U.S. military base in Landstuhl, Germany, for medical treatment.

Persecuted Pastor's Wife Breaks Silence on Obama's Broken Promise

Persecuted Pastor's Wife Breaks Silence on Obama's Broken Promise

President Barack Obama should have secured the release of jailed U.S. citizens before sealing a nuclear deal with Iran, and the accord should not win congressional approval until their freedom is guaranteed, the wife of a detained Iranian-American pastor said on Wednesday.
Saeed Abedini, 35, a naturalized U.S. citizen, was sentenced by an Iranian court in 2013 to eight years in prison for allegedly compromising Iran's national security by setting up home-based Christian churches in his native country.
His wife, Naghmeh Abedini of Boise, Idaho, said her husband has faced threats to his life from Islamic militants held in the same prison west of Tehran and that his physical and psychological health has deteriorated from a lack of medical care and from stays in solitary confinement.
Abedini is one of three Americans known to be currently detained in Iran.
His spouse said their release should have been assured before Obama even agreed to the talks that produced a deal on Tuesday aimed at restricting Tehran's nuclear program in exchange for sanctions relief.
The agreement has drawn fire from Republican lawmakers, but Obama strongly defended it in a news conference on Wednesday, saying it was the only alternative to a nuclear arms race and more war in the Middle East.
Obama also said any notion that he was content with Americans being held in Iran was "nonsense," but insisted that including their fate in the talks would only have undermined the U.S. bargaining position.
"If the question is why we did not tie the negotiations to their release, think about the logic that that creates," he said. "Suddenly Iran realizes ... maybe we can get additional concessions out of the Americans by holding these individuals."
Obama delivered the same message to Naghmeh Abedini and the couple's two young children when he visited them in Boise in January, she said.
The pastor's wife conceded she was not sufficiently well-versed in nuclear matters to evaluate the deal but said parallel talks could have been held to seek the release of her husband and other detained Americans.
She said she was now pinning her hopes on Congress, which must approve the accord. She said Republican leaders and some Democrats have spoken of making congressional approval contingent on the release of the American prisoners.
"It's very difficult for my children. And it's heartbreaking for me to see them growing up without their dad," she said.

Obama Just Sided With the Folks Chanting "Death to America, Death to Israel"

Obama Just Sided With the Folks Chanting "Death to America, Death to Israel"

These Americans are imprisoned in Iran.

Tuesday President Obama betrayed Israel and the American people.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said it best. He called the deal a "bad mistake of historic proportions."
"Iran is going to receive a sure path to nuclear weapons. Many of the restrictions that were supposed to prevent it from getting there will be lifted," Netanyahu said. "Iran will get a jackpot, a cash bonanza of hundreds of billions of dollars, which will enable it to continue to pursue its aggression and terror in the region and in the world."
It was a deal made out of either sheer ignorance—or out of more nefarious reasons.
Who in their right mind would negotiate in good faith with an enemy who wants to wipe Israel off the face of the earth and whose citizens are marching in the streets shouting death to America?
Lost in this diplomatic debacle is the fate of four Americans held hostage by the Islamic Republic of Iran.
One of those men is Saeed Abedini—an Idaho pastor—thrown in prison because of his Christian faith. For nearly three years he has been tortured at the hands of his Muslim captors.
President Obama promised Pastor Saeed's family that his release would be a top priority—but his words were meaningless.
So now Pastor Abedini's wife is turning to Congress—pleading with our elected leaders to save her husband's life.
"I plead with Congress to ensure that my husband, an American citizen, is not left behind," Naghmeh Abedini said.
"Congress holds the key to bringing my husband home, to returning the father to my children," she said. "My children have desperately missed the loving embrace of their father for the last three years of their lives. They have grown up almost half of their lives without their father. Please help us ensure the remainder of their childhood includes both a mother and a father."
Jay Sekulow, the chief counsel for the American Center for Law and Justice, denounced the Obama Administration's deal with Iran and called it "unconscionable" that the agreement did not secure the freedom of Pastor Saeed.
"President Obama told the Abedini family face-to-face that he considered the release of Pastor Saeed a 'top priority,'" Sekulow said. "How could that be a 'top priority' when a deal is reached and Pastor Saeed is left behind?"
At the very least President Obama should pick up the telephone and call Mrs. Abedini and explain why he left her husband behind to be tortured by the Islamic Republic of Iran.

'It's a Miracle.' Saeed's Wife Says Obama Will Meet with Her

'It's a Miracle.' Saeed's Wife Says Obama Will Meet with Her

Naghmeh Abedini, the wife of imprisoned American pastor Saeed Abedini, says she and her children will meet with President Barack Obama Wednesday.
She tweeted Tuesday night, "Praise God!  It is a miracle!"
The Idaho Statesman reports Naghmeh Abedini received confirmation Tuesday that Obama agreed to meet with her and her two young children.
Obama is making a rare visit to Boise, Idaho, on Wednesday, which is also happens to be the hometown of Pastor Saeed Abedini.
Earlier Tuesday, ACLJ Executive Director Jordan Sekulow talked more about the president's visit and what he hopes to see unfold on CBN News.
Abedini is a U.S. citizen who has been wrongfully imprisoned by Iran for his Christian faith. His wife, Nagmeh , wrote a letter to the White House, requesting a meeting with the president while he's in town.
"My heart leapt with hope when I heard that you would be visiting my hometown of Boise, Idaho," she wrote.
"I have been praying and wanting to meet with you... to have you look into my eyes and see the piercing pain that has been there since my husband's imprisonment; to see my kids and to know that they have missed the warm embrace of their dad for nearly three years," she continued.
"You speak about the need to protect religious freedom and human rights," she said. "Saeed is imprisoned merely because of his Christian faith. My husband has committed no crime - he chose to exercise his God-given right to choose his own faith."
The American Center for Law and Justice also wrote to the president, saying this is the perfect opportunity for the U.S. government to show more of an interest in Abedini's plight.
"There are public reports that the United States may reach a nuclear deal with Iran without securing the release of Americans held captive in that country," ACLJ Executive Director Jordan Sekulow wrote.
"When you are in Boise, we request that you take a few minutes from your schedule to meet with Pastor Saeed's wife, Naghmeh," the letter continues. "After enduring years of fear and uncertainty, she deserves to be heard."

Saeed's Christmas Message from 'Hard, Cold' Prison

Saeed's Christmas Message from 'Hard, Cold' Prison

Saeed Abedini has penned a Christmas letter to his family and supporters from the confines of the brutal Rajai Shahr Prison in Iran.
The American pastor was jailed by the Iranian government two years ago for refusing to recant his faith. In his letter, he notes this is the first time he'll be spending the holiday without his family.
"These conditions have made this upcoming Christmas season very hard, cold and shattering for me. It appears that I am alone with no one left beside me," he wrote.
But for Abedini, his brutal circumstances have only served to drive home the meaning of the holiday.
Read Pastor Saeed's full letter below:
Merry Christmas!
These days are very cold here. My small space beside the window is without glass making most nights unbearable to sleep. The treatment by fellow prisoners is also quite cold and at times hostile. Some of my fellow prisoners don't like me because I am a convert and a pastor. They look at me with shame as someone who has betrayed his former religion. The guards can't even stand the paper cross that I have made and hung next to me as a sign of my faith and in anticipation of celebrating my Savior's birth. They have threatened me and forced me to remove it. This is the first Christmas that I am completely without my family; all of my family is presently outside of the country. These conditions have made this upcoming Christmas season very hard, cold and shattering for me. It appears that I am alone with no one left beside me.
These cold and brittle conditions have made me wonder why God chose the hardest time of the year to become flesh and why He came to the earth in the weakest human condition (as a baby). Why did God choose the hardest place to be born in the cold weather? Why did God choose to be born in a manger in a stable, which is very cold, filthy and unsanitary with an unpleasant smell? Why did the birth have to be in such a way that it was not only hard physically, but also socially? It must have brought such shame for Mary and her fiancé that she was pregnant before marriage in the religious society of that time.
Dear sisters and brothers, the fact of the Gospel is that it is not only the story of Jesus, but it is the key of how we are to live and serve like Jesus. Today we like Him should come out of our safe comfort zone in order to proclaim the Word of Life and Salvation though faith in Jesus Christ and the penalty of sin that He paid on the cross and to proclaim His resurrection. We should be able to tolerate the cold, the difficulties and the shame in order to serve God. We should be able to enter into the pain of the cold dark world. Then we are able to give the fiery love of Christ to the cold wintery manger of those who are spiritually dead. It might be necessary to come out of the comfort of our lives and leave the loving embrace of our family to enter the manger of the lives of others, such as it has been for me for the third consecutive Christmas. It may be that we will be called fools and traitors and face many difficulties, but we should crucify our will and wishes even more until the world hears and tastes the true meaning of Christmas.
Christmas means that God came so that He would enter your hearts today and transform your lives and to replace your pain with indescribable joy.
Christmas is the manifestation of the radiant brightness of the Glory of God in the birth of a child named Emmanuel, which means God is with us.
Christmas is the day that the heat of the life-giving fire of God's love shone in the dark cold wintry frozen hearts and burst forth in this deadly wicked world.
The same way that the heat from the earth's core melts the hard stones in itself and produces lava, the fiery love of God, Jesus Christ, through the virgin Mary's womb came to earth on Christmas to melt the hard heart of sin and wickedness of the world and removes them from our life. In the same process, the work of the Holy Spirit is a fiery rain of God's Holiness and Mercy that flows into our body, soul and spirit and brings the light of Christ into us and through us making this dark, cold, wintry world into radiant burning brightness. He is turning our world into a world full of peace, joy, and love that is so different than the dark, cold, and wintry world that we used to live in. Hallelujah!
So this Christmas let the lava-like love of Christ enter into the depth of your heart and make you fiery, ready to pay any cost in order to bring the same lava love to the cold world around you, transforming them with the true message of Christmas.

Saeed Has Led 30 to Christ in Iran Prison

Wife: Saeed Has Led 30 to Christ in Iran Prison

The wife of the American pastor imprisoned in Iran for his Christian faith says her husband remains bold for Jesus Christ in prison.

Saeed Abedini's wife, Naghmeh, recently spoke to students at Liberty University about her family's plight.

She said in spite of being tortured and asked to deny his faith in Christ and return to Islam, Pastor Saeed is a light for Jesus in Evin Prison, one of the worst in the world.

"They've told him many times that they would free him and allow him to return to our family, the kids and I, if he would deny his Christian faith, and he's stood strong in that prison. He's led many, many - over 30 people - to Christ in that prison," she told the audience.

A special prayer vigil for Pastor Saeed is being held worldwide Thursday, Sept. 26 -- the one-year anniversary of his imprisonment in Iran.

It's also the day Iran's new president will be making his first trip to America to address the United Nations.

"Now is the time to speak out, to urge Iran to release Pastor Saeed," Jordon Sekulow, executive director for the American Center for Law and Justice, said in an email.

Demand Saeed’s Freedom. Write a letter. Be Heard.
