Last night we had a heavy thunderstorm with a lot of lightening. I asked the Lord why this was necessary. He brought me to Exodus 9:23. The Lord brought thunder, hail and lightening flashing to the ground to destroy his enemies. Moses simply obeyed His word by stretching a rod toward heaven. Once again it is time to stretch forth your rod. Jesus is about to do amazing wonders among us to show Himself strong over Egypt. Pharaoh's regime is coming down.

In the book of Exodus, the Lord appeared to Moses in a burning bush and asked him to go to Pharaoh with a word from the Lord. Moses replied, "But suppose they will not believe me or listen to my voice; suppose they say, 'The Lord has not appeared to you.' Then He said to Moses, 'What is that in your hand?' Moses replied 'a rod.'"

The scripture goes on to say how the Lord commissioned Moses along with Aaron to deliver the Israelites out of Egypt. Although He released miracles, signs and wonders, Pharaoh resisted the word from the Lord to "Let My people go" until The Lord sent ten plagues on Egypt. He also sent a mighty East wind and used Moses with his rod to part the Red Sea for the children of Israel to escape. They went through on dry ground unscathed, but when Pharaoh and the Egyptian army along with their horses and chariots followed after them, Pharaoh and his regime all drowned.

The Lord says; I will use that which I have placed in your hand. Do not say that I am the least of these or I am unable to speak. I will establish you and speak through you. Do not worry beforehand, or premeditate on what you will say, but speak whatever is given to you at that time. For it is not you who will speak, but the Holy Spirit. Your words will be spoken from a place of authority.

My Anointing is Upon You

I will place My anointing upon you in the courts of Pharaoh. You will understand your potential as you walk in My anointing, demonstrate My power, and release My glory. I have placed My rod of authority into your hands, and placed My sword of the Spirit in your mouth. You will use My rod of authority to part the red sea that is obstructing others from coming into the kingdom. You will use My rod of authority to destroy the attacks of the enemy.

I will use you to deliver My people out of Egypt. There will be a mass Exodus of people coming out of spiritual Egypt, released from the kingdom of darkness, and delivered into the Kingdom of light. When it seems like the enemy is gaining on you, you will outwit him as you raise your rod of authority and watch the seas part. The plans of the enemy will be demolished. You are about to cross over into a new dimension and you will surely see my goodness in the land of the living says the Lord.

Exodus 9:23 And Moses stretched out his rod toward heaven; and the Lord sent thunder and hail, and fire darted to the ground. And the Lord rained hail on the land of Egypt.

Exodus 14:21-23 And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the Lord caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided. And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left. And the Egyptians pursued, and went in after them to the midst of the sea, even all Pharaoh's horses, his chariots, and his horsemen.

Confronting a Dangerous End-Time Mentality - Dr. Michael Brown

Confronting a Dangerous End-Time Mentality

I hear it all the time, and as quickly as I hear it, I reject it.
It is a paralyzing, destructive mentality, and it is unbiblical—plain and simple.
I’m talking about the mindset that says, “Jesus told us everything will get worse, so why bother trying to bring about change?”
Can you imagine what church history would like if Paul and Peter felt that way in the first century or if Wesley and Wilberforce felt that way in the 18th and 19th centuries?
Why fight against infanticide in the early church? Jesus said things will only get worse.
Why fight against slavery in Great Britain and America? Jesus said things will only get worse.
Why fight against apartheid in South Africa? Jesus said things will only get worse.
Why even oppose the Nazis? Jesus said things will only get worse.
Do you see how paralyzing this mentality can be?
In response to my video message challenging the Charlotte City Council to vote against an extreme, LGBT activist bill—it was dubbed “the bathroom bill”—someone posted this on my YouTube channel:
“I admire your spirit Dr Brown … but you know this is fighting the Hand of God. Can you possibly win? Can you possibly even HOPE to win? He said that these days will come. So how is it that you, a man who serves that same God, fights against Him? He says it WILL happen, and you try to STOP it. Is that not fighting against God? No. Instead, praise Him because His Word IS Truth, and preach ENDURANCE and LONG SUFFERING and HOPE. Those are better messages. Trying to stop the Word of God, however, … is futile.”
With all respect to the person who posted the comment, this is absolute rubbish.
Fighting the Hand of God? Fighting against God? Trying to stop the Word of God? Nonsense!
Oh yes, I fully affirm the need to “preach ENDURANCE and LONG SUFFERING and HOPE,” and those themes go hand and hand with our actions in Charlotte.
But the idea that we are fighting against the inevitable collapse of society in our day—even fighting against God—is an idea to be resisted and rejected.
If you don’t mind my asking, please tell me where Jesus said that from the year 2016 until His return, things will only get worse. Would you be kind enough to provide the chapter and verse?
You might reply, “In Matthew 24, Jesus predicted mass deception and mass apostasy,” but it appears you still miss the point.
Aside from asking which portions of Matthew 24 referred more directly to the events leading up to 70 A.D.—in other words, to events that took place almost 2,000 years ago—the obvious question is: How do you know that His words apply to today rather than to 100 years from today? Who gave you the insight that we were in the closing years of the era and that all we could expect was gloom and doom?
If Jonathan Edwards had believed this in the 1700s, he never would have called the churches together to pray for awakening.
The same could be said for every revival in history: If the believers in each generation thought that the apostasy and darkness and moral corruption they were witnessing indicated that Jesus was coming any minute and that positive change was impossible, they never would have sought God for revival and the world would be in massively worse shape today.
I came to faith in 1971 when Hal Lindsey’s Late Great Planet Earth was all the rage, and we knew that any day now, Jesus was coming back. The signs of the times were all there!
I was 16 at that time. Next month, I turn 61. And Jesus still has not returned.
What makes you so sure that you have figured it all out and that we should simply capitulate and cave in? What makes you so sure that it’s time to throw in the towel and let the devil and the world take over? Is this even a remotely biblical mentality?
You might say, “But things have never been as bad as they are today.”
I suggest you study history more carefully before coming to that conclusion, but even if you’re right, that’s what other generations have said about their days as well, and the Lord moved mightily with great outpouring and harvest.
Who’s to say He hasn’t saved the best for last?
The fact is that a truly biblical mentality is a victorious, faith-filled, overcoming mentality, a mentality of hope and triumph and expectation.
Jesus is risen, and Jesus is Lord!
That’s all I need to know.
And Jesus told us that: 1) All authority is heaven and Earth is His; 2) in His name and authority, we are to go and make disciples of the nations; and 3) He is with us always, even to the end of the age (Matt. 28:18-20).
Where, then, is there room for discouragement? Where, then, is there room for a “throw in the towel” mentality?
And if we are successful in making disciples, won’t that mean that positive change will come?
The biblical mentality is expressed by John, who told us that “the darkness is passing away, and the true light is already shining” (1 John 2:8).
Or in the words of Paul, “The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us take off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light” (Rom. 13:12).
That is how we must live, and that is the attitude we must have as we stand for what is right, regardless of how dire things look and regardless of cost or consequence.
And that means that, until our dying day—or until Jesus returns, whichever comes first—the salt must stay salty and the light must stay bright (Matt. 5:13-16).
How else could a disciple possibly live?

Floors of Israelis Shaking as Hamas Digs Tunnels Under Them - Ron Cantor MESSIAH'S MANDATE

Floors of Israelis Shaking as Hamas Digs Tunnels Under Them

Ron Cantor —  February 5, 2016
You are Israeli. You are eating dinner with your family. Suddenly the floors start shaking. Your son ask you, “Dad, what is that? Why is the food moving on the table?” Do you tell him? “Avi, that is just Hamas rebuilding tunnels so they can attack us here in the kibbutz [i].”

Shaking Floors

That’s right. Residents of Israeli communities near the Gaza Strip “complained that tunnel digging into Israel from Hamas-run territory has come so close to their homes that it has caused their floors to shake.” (timesofisrael.com)

Stealing From Their Own People… Again

This came to light about a week ago on several television news shows and, until just a few days ago, our government had done little to stop it. Hamas is digging tunnels into Israel—by the way, using materials that are supposed to go to rebuilding the city—in order to carry out terror attacks and we are doing almost nothing to stop them. Hamas is taking the 3.5 million tons of building materials donated to the people of Gaza and instead of rebuilding homes (the intended purpose of the aid), they are building terror tunnels into Israel. The E.U., which often criticizes Israel when a Palestinian stubs his toe, has been largely silent in condemning Hamas.
Iran confirmed the resumption of tunnel digging by posting a video Sunday of a Hamas terrorist in one of the tunnels, boasting that it is 3.5 kilometers long and goes into Israel. The Iran report was clear, celebrating the intended goal of the tunnel—to carry out acts of terror.

The Israeli Left Demands Action

Only after massive criticism from the left-leaning opposition here in Israel, as well as a national outcry for the Netanyahu government to act, did the government begin to do something. Well, we assume it is the government—it may just be the hand of God.
Major General Yoav Mordechai warned Hamas today of consequences if the terror tunnel digging continues, “The tunnels that Hamas is digging will bring disaster to the Gaza Strip. They are tunnels of death.” (jpost.com)

IDF or the Hand of God?

This week three different tunnels collapsed on terrorists. Two terrorists have been confirmed dead and eight others missing. A week ago seven terrorists were crushed to death as a tunnel collapsed upon them. Ironically, as 250,000 Gazans came out to honor the dead terrorists at their funerals, a roof collapsed as several young men were standing on it, injuring many more.

It is unclear if these tunnels collapsed on their own, due to rains (as Hamas claims) or because of action from the IDF.
“When asked whether or not Israel has had a hand in the collapse of the terror tunnels in recent weeks, [General] Mordechai responded saying ‘God only knows.’” (jpost.com)
This is a serious escalation and despite the fact that the Islamic terror problem is growing globally, the E.U. still sees Hamas as a legitimate representative government of the Palestinians in Gaza. Instead they should be viewed just like ISIS. Silly western cowards believe the Hamas rhetoric and not their actions. Today Hamas denied that it has any interest in renewing the fight with Israel.
If that is true, then why is Avi’s kitchen table shaking?

The Tides are Turning by Stephen Young (Identity Network)

The Tides are Turning

by Stephen Young

Identity Network

The following is something I wrote and posted almost two years ago. To this day it is still one of the most read posts I have ever written. I felt to share it with you again today. This is a season of transitioning, change, re-alignment and turning tides!

The Tides are Turning

Psalms 118:15-16 Hear the shouts, hear the triumph songs in the camp of the saved! "The hand of God has turned the tide! 16 The hand of God is raised in victory! The hand of God has turned the tide!"

As I was driving to work today I heard the Lord speak these words to me, "The tides are turning." Any time that phrase is used it means a change in direction or a change in the way things are going. I believe we are now in the season of turning tides.

You may be in a season of things not going in the direction you'd like them to go or things just not going in your favor but I believe the Lord gave me this word for you, the tides are turning! It is time to step into your destiny, it is time for promises to be fulfilled, and it is time for things to begin working in your favor, on your behalf.

If this speaks to you, I want you to print this passage and put it somewhere in your house because it's going to be your victory Scripture before this year is over. You will be declaring; "Hear the shouts, hear the triumph songs in the camp of the saved! The hand of God has turned the tide! The hand of God is raised in victory! The hand of God has turned the tide!" The key in this Scripture is the phrase, "the hand of God." He's going to do it, all it's going to take is His hand on your situation and defeat will turn to victory, sadness to joy, mourning to dancing, and bondage to freedom. The hand of God is raised in victory! The hand of God has turned the tide!

"Hand of God" astronomers photo

USA TODAY

Astronomers who captured this image with a NASA telescope are calling it the "Hand of God." The photo shows the remains of a star that exploded 17,000 light-years away: http://usat.ly/1fjicPr

What looks like an X-ray of a hand is actually the remains of a star that exploded 17,000 light-years away.
The astronomers who captured this image with a NASA space telescope call it the "Hand of God."
"We don't know if the hand shape is an optical illusion," said Hongjun An of McGill University in Montreal, Canada, in a statement from the Nuclear Spectroscopic Telescope Array (NuSTAR) Mission.
What the image shows is a pulsar wind nebula, a dying star and the cloud of materials left over from the star after it exploded. The particles are interacting with nearby magnetic fields, causing the particles to glow in the image, according to NuSTAR.
It's unclear whether the nebula looks like a hand because of the way the particles interact with the magnetic fields or if the particles are actually shaped like a hand.
NuSTAR says the star is about 12 miles in diameter and spins at nearly seven times a second. As the star spins, it spews particles "upheaved during the star's violent death."
The NuSTAR space telescope was launched in June 2012 with the goal of observing black holes, dead and exploded stars and "other extreme objects," according to NuSTAR.

God Protected Us In Battle

Former Israeli Commander Effie Eitam

Fmr Israeli Commander: God Protected us in Battle
By Chris Mitchell
CBN News Middle East Bureau Chief
Friday, September 13, 2013

JERUSALEM, Israel -- Like most Israelis just before the start of the 1973 Yom Kippur War, Effie Eitam didn't expect an Arab attack on the holiest day of the Jewish year. Eitam was leading a routine reconnaissance patrol on the Golan Heights. Moments later, he was facing the might of the Syrian army.

"I saw hundreds of Syrian tanks moving forward, and they were painted in a camouflage of green and yellow," the former Israel Defense Forces commander told CBN News. "And I remember, I thought to myself that they're kind of prehistoric lizards, you know, who just came out of a cave because they came out of nowhere. I didn't see them before."

For days, the surprise attacks dealt a serious -- nearly fatal -- blow to Israel. The men on the front lines bore the brunt of the battle.

"The first three days were hell, you know," Eitam continued. "We didn't have any anti-tank weapons, and we had to shoot them with American World War II-made bazookas, you know, a very primitive anti-tank rocket launcher, and we had to shoot them from distances of 50-60 meters [yards]. People just got killed. Some of them were smashed by the tanks, you know, from such a short distance."

During the first few days of the war, the Israelis paid a high price in lives lost. But they held on and contained one of the most fearsome attacks ever made against the nation.

When Israel counter-attacked, Eitam received orders for a daring mission: Go behind enemy lines and take the Syrian Division headquarters. Like many commando raids, this assault meant close quarters and face-to-face, sometimes hand-to-hand, combat.

Eitam was a highly trained soldier, but he wasn't prepared for what faced him when he went around a corner in the Syrian bunker.

"We came there and we started to 'clean'-- in other words, to kill -- the generals who were there and their guards. I was throwing hand grenades, shooting, you know, in the broad concrete corridors," he said.

"And then when I turned, behind one of the corners of the corridors, which was full of smoke and dust, I saw a silhouette -- a kind of something coming out of the dust and smoke toward me," he recalled. "I was very sure it's a Syrian soldier, and I took my rifle and I was aiming the rifle and was ready to pull the trigger, and then I saw a bird coming out of the smoke. She just flew behind my head and she stood on my right shoulder."

At first, Eitam thought the bird was actually a bat, living in the cool, dark corridors of the bunker. So in the midst of an intense firefight, he found himself trying to shoo away a bird.

"So I just whipped her out, and she turned again and stood on my left shoulder," he explained. "I didn't have time to have all kinds of arguments with a bird: 'What are you doing here, who are you?' It was in the middle of a shooting battle."

"So I completed the assault and hand grenades and everything. And when I went out of the corridor of the bunker, I saw a dove, a pigeon, standing on my left shoulder. I just tried to let her out of my shoulder. She turned and was very determined not to leave me. I put my hand just like that and she stood on my hand."

Despite Eitan's attempt to get rid of the dove, she stayed with him and his unit for the next 10 days in some of the most intense battles of the Yom Kippur War. During that time, Eitam's unit appeared to have supernatural protection.

"Since we had that angel protecting us, none of my company's soldiers was killed or wounded, and we were involved in very intensive battles," he said. "It's not that we stood in the rear or we sat there. We were involved in the middle of the most bitter battles, but she was there."

"What was unnatural and very interesting was that even in the night, when we had night operations and night battles, where usually these birds, pigeons, do not move at night -- they don't have a very good night sight -- she was with us patrolling, a little bit forward, looking (at) what's going on around (us), sitting here," he said, pointing to his shoulder.

Finally, after nearly two weeks of frontline conflict, Eitam and his unit were sent to the rear for a rest.

"And when I put my feet down in the vehicle that brought us from the front to the territory of the State of Israel, she flew away and disappeared," he said. "You know, you could have a little bit of questions whether it happened or not. But it didn't happen to me in the middle of a desert or me being alone in the middle of a jungle. It was in front of the eyes of thousands of soldiers."

Since that experience, through many commando operations, the sense of the miraculous and God's protection has never left Eitam -- the same protection promised in the 23rd Psalm.

"I trained myself to see miracles around me, around the operations that I conducted. It's as we know he said, quoting Psalm 23 in Hebrew: "Even when I am in the valley of death and evil, I'm not afraid because God is with me…."
