The Restoration of Jim Bakker
“The Lord restored the fortunes of Job when he prayed for his friends, and the Lord increased all that Job had twofold.” (Job 42:10-11, NASU)
Cindy Jacobs, co-founder of Generals International in Texas, along with her husband Mike, were at Jim Bakker's new Morningside ministry site over the July 4th, 2017 weekend.
Jim and his wife Lori have a new TV program called "The Jim Bakker Show", viewed by millions on TV and the Internet. I am among those, almost daily watching the hour show for the last two years. Many of the shows I have posted in our Love For His People blog.
As many know, Jim and his former wife Tammy Faye (who died of cancer in 2007) had the Heritage USA ministry "resort", along with the worldwide PTL Network, until 1987.
Jim and his wife Lori have a new TV program called "The Jim Bakker Show", viewed by millions on TV and the Internet. I am among those, almost daily watching the hour show for the last two years. Many of the shows I have posted in our Love For His People blog.
Program aired July 12, 2017 - from the July 4, 2017 weekend live show.
The Heritage USA park also included the Grand Hotel, the Barn, the Studio, a major waterpark, and at least two very nice camping grounds. Located just south of Charlotte, North Carolina in Fort Mill, South Carolina, it was a great place for Christian families and all to spend 3-7 days as a vacation spot. At its height, it was the third most visited place in America, just behind the two Disney locations.
How do I know? We were PTL Partners. We had bought three lifetime memberships in 1984 and 1985. We spent two summer vacations there with our family and stopped again in 1987 on our move from Michigan to Florida.

In 1989 Jim Bakker was convicted (wrongly, in my opinion) for some questionable financial situations, and sentenced to 45 years in prison. Not only were the charges unfounded (as proven later) but also the single judge's sentence was absolutely beyond any reasonable just time, based on the conviction. Judge Robert Daniel Potter reportedly said it was to teach Christian TV ministers a lesson.
In February 1991… the court held that Potter's statement at sentencing that Bakker's actions resulted in "those of us who do have a religion" being lampooned as "saps from money-grubbing preachers or priests" was evidence that he had injected his own religious beliefs into considering Bakker's sentence. The sentence was reduced to eight years. In 1994 he was released from prison, after serving five years. Wikipedia
Jim had lost everything. His wife divorced him. In 1993 she married the main contractor of Heritage USA, Roe Messner.
Jim’s children, Tammy Sue and Jamie, were treated mostly with contempt, for decades, by many so-called "Christians".
Living close by, near Charlotte, then and now, I knew of these things on TV and in the newspaper. The Charlotte Observer did all the reporting on all subjects, as much as they could dig up. Before, during, and after Jim's downfall.
Once in prison, he had lost it all. Speaking of Job, Jim Bakker was as the same. No wife, children gone, his former residence burned to the ground, over two decades of ministry lost, and no friends to speak of. Only the Billy Graham family and Rick Joyner of MorningStar stood with him in prison, and after he was released.
During his time behind bars, Jim has repeatedly said, later on his current TV show, that he had spent the time with the Lord Jesus, reading and studying His Word. He got to know the Lord. Jesus had told him that that was the purpose of his time there.
Now let’s go back to Cindy and Mike Jacob on the July 12, 2017 airing of The Jim Bakker Show.
Half-way through the hour, Cindy shared a profound prophetic word. (Watch the program here.) In essence, the Lord spoke that restoration, double of all that Jim had lost back then, was coming forth.

Already he had remarried (Lori Graham Bakker), has had his children restored in their relationship with their father, and just last year (2016) got the name of the ministry TV network back, the PTL Network. (He now said it stands for the "Prophets Talk Loud" network, having many well-known, faithful, accurate prophets on the daily show.)
On the TV set, Cindy declared that not only was restoration coming double fold, but it even included that an actual miniature train, and merry-go-round, similar to the famous and popular ones back in the days of Heritage USA, were going to be restored to Jim. These had been dear to his heart too, for the kids he loved. As she spoke these words, you could see the emotion swell on Jim’s face.
Restoration! Prophetic word from Cindy Jacobs:
She heard a train whistle as she came ion the new property.
Jim will get his train back...and another merry-go-round!
Even as the Lord restored all that had been lost for Job, so it is happening before our eyes these days

I have always admired Jim Bakker. He is a man of faith, a man small in stature but having a big heart, and a builder, both in the natural and the spiritual.
I have met Jim. I like him a lot, and rejoice to see the wrong now being righted. We serve a just God.
Full restoration is promised by the Living God of Israel. We see it with His chosen people the Jews; we see it testified by believers over the centuries, and now we see it in the life of Jim Bakker.

P.S. One of the main reasons I believe the Lord has restored Jim Bakker is because of his love and support for Israel and the Jewish nation. Even at Heritage USA he had built the "Upper Room", a replica he had done on the South Carolina property after his trip to Israel. On his current show, he often has guests who support Israel. Last year he went on another tour of Israel with Rabbi Jonathan Chan, a frequent guest, and author of the best-seller The Harbinger.
The Upper Room - still stands in 2017. Less than seven miles from our house.

This word by Conrad Lampan will bring a great "sigh of relief" and great peace to you in many areas where you may have needed it.
When we step out in faith and obedience, trusting God in the outcome, great challenges may have come our way.
We tend to believe we "missed it" and didn't hear God right...but many times that is far from the contrary! I've learned that we often did hear Him right...it just didn't pan out how we expected.
Just read this word by Conrad:
"I also saw you, when you became disheartened and disillusioned, because you believed the dreams were from Me and you could not understand why things were not happening as you expected. I tell you again: Turn your eyes and look. Look to Jesus, and when you do I will show you that all those expectations, those dreams, those visions of heavenly achievements, are still in My hands: For they are not lost."

"The time you are entering in is not a time to regret what was not, what was lost, or the dreams you have committed to the shelf."

"If you would just stop spinning round and round in life – that is not the life I gave you. "Your restoration, is linked to repositioning, not of circumstances or conditions, but of yourself aligned with Me. Don't look for signs and confirmations aside from Me. Don't be a Babylonian looking for the stars to tell you what I, the Holy Spirit of God, have already declared about you. Look to Me for the plans that I have for you. Your alignment is with Me, to hear what I declare for your life.
Your alignment is with the Father's heart, to know what He desires and to do what you see Him doing. Your alignment is with Jesus, to be like Him.
"You will see, it is already happening, that My Church, the one I am building, is emerging. The Church, every local church, that aligns with Me, will be emerging into that Kingdom place where the gates of Hell will not prevail."

"Listen to Me now: Your dream might not look the way you dreamed your dream. I hold your dream in My hand; it will come to fruition, it will come to pass, but not necessarily the way you figured it will. Keep looking up to Me and let's shape that dream together.

"The Year of Restoration: Recover, Uncover and Restore"
2016 has been and will continue to be a year when God shows off!
It will be a year He begins to wipe away the stain and strain of the trials and tribulations of the season you've just come through. He wants to make a deep impression on your heart and convince you of the power and care He is capable of.
So often when you come through a tough season of trials, you can tend to pick up fear and unbelief that you are not even aware of. You may enter a situation and the old feelings of doubt seem to pull at your faith, and your feelings toward the future become clouded and limited.
Our Father says, "This will be a season in which I will convince you of My power and My love for you!"
He will wipe away the strain and make things easier. His hand on your life will be made very apparent, because He wants you to look to Him, turn to Him, and walk more closely with Him. He's building your faith – the faith that moves mountains.
Why? So you can move mountains!
The Year God Recovers, Uncovers, and Restores – for You!
This is not a year to fear; it is a year to TRUST Him and watch Him RECOVER, UNCOVER, and RESTORE.
Things you had forgotten you'd lost will suddenly be recovered and returned to you. Things stolen will be returned.
Ancestral promises that you didn't even know existed will begin to be fulfilled in your life. Not just for you, but to convince you that God is for you and with you – to restore your faith in Him.
God spoke this to me before 2016, and starting January 1st, it seemed every day something was restored to me. And, I want it ALL back!
Do you agree with me?
Do you want your peace back, your joy, your faith, love, and health ALL BACK?! Do you want your hopes and dreams ALL BACK?! Your finances? Property? Everything the devil stole from you, declare its restoration to you – ten-fold!
And in return, make sure you give the enemy a bit of what he's tried to throw at you. I know I want to hear him say, "I sure wish I hadn't messed with her."
The Father tells me we can trust completely that He is in control. No matter how things look, how shaky things can appear, no matter what things look like...understand that God is in it. God has assured me that He will not be content with business as usual. He wants a revolution.
God is Uncovering What Has Been Hidden, But Do Not Despair – He is In it to Win it!
Watch as He uncovers evil and brings it to the attention of the world.
He's uncovering things that have been hidden for some time. They've planned to undermine Him, and plan our destruction...BUT GOD! God has known about it all along, so do not despair, because HE IS THE ONE UNCOVERING IT.
He wants to start a revolution. It takes a lot to do that, so rejoice when it appears that the enemy has won and the Church has been abandoned. God loves us, and HE WILL NOT abandon us. Determine in your heart that no matter what you see, you will not fear, but you will stand with Him and TRUST in His plan for restoration to come to us.
God says, "I am in it! And when I am in it, I am in it to win it!"
No matter how things look, He will not stop until our enemy is completely uncovered and uprooted. He will not let things lay half done. He will complete the work He began in this world. He will shake it, and the enemy will not even see it coming.
The Father has baited our enemy. He's made it seem to them that He does not see what they are doing. They are convinced they will get away with what they're trying to do, but it's all a trap. He wants to uncover the good in men's hearts. He wants justice – full, complete, and reliable justice. And He wants vindication for the innocent. Justice is not complete without vindication, is it?
He is invading every area of life: Church, government, and our hearts. He desires that we see and learn that even the impossible is possible with Him. He says, "You are Mine, and I take care of My own."
He will uncover, recover, and restore – and it starts now. Anticipate the evidence of His hand on your life. Give Him your whole heart. Declare that He alone is your Lord, and you take orders only from Him.
Fear Nothing; Your Heritage Will be the Spoils of the Wars
Walk boldly in increased vision, and trust in Him. He is truly worthy of your trust.
You are bold, unstoppable, Kingdom warriors!
You will take territory for Him, and your heritage will be the spoils of the wars. You will climb mountains and destroy wickedness in high places, because your God is who He's said He is, and He can be trusted to work miracles through you!
Fear nothing – trust God!
This is only the beginning for you!

Rise up, man and woman of God! Rise Up! Shake off that slumbering spirit - there is a mighty warrior within you that needs to awaken! Submit to God; make the choice today to become that person of God, to honor God, and pursue virtue, purity, and holiness.
You say you've blown it big time and you're drowning in the mire of your poor choices? Is it too late? Can God restore my heart? Can I once again walk in purity and holiness before the Lord? YES, you can! YES, you will! YES, He is able! He is the God of the second chance! We all desperately need this revelation, so grab hold of it with all that's in you.
Begin today by letting go of your obsession with the past, where captives stay bound in the prison of their own making. Stop looking back with regret, and instead press on! Yes, PRESS ON! Press forward past the blunders of the past, press on through the guilt and the shame, and press on through the confusion and doubt. He is already standing there bidding you come to the secret place; He is ready to blot out your sins with His holy blood. He is ready to make all things new in your life. He is ready to restore your honor and give you a fresh, new start.
Humble Yourself
Your past may cause you to feel "crushed and overwhelmed" beyond your ability to endure, thinking you'll never get past it, yet humble yourself before your God! Stretch out on the floor, desperate before Him, and share your deepest desire for Him alone. Unload your heartache and brokenness at the foot of His cross and leave it there so He can raise you up brand new.
The Lord responds to a broken, humble heart, to a soul that knows how to repent and admit where it missed the mark. As we rid ourselves of layers of self-love, control and pride, we are clothed anew with the beauty of the Lord.
He desires to restore you and revive your spirit. He desires for you to begin again. Let me say it once more: only humble yourself before the mighty hand of God and:
"...then the LORD your God will restore your fortunes. He will have mercy on you and gather you back from all the nations where he has scattered you." (Deuteronomy 30:3)
You are My Child
I say again, you no longer need to hang your head with guilt and shame; once you have confessed and forsaken your sin, you are a brand new creation in Christ Jesus, and through His shed blood He has made you righteous. And when the devil comes to accuse you of things you've done in the past, use your authority to tell him he's talking to the wrong person, because you are a blood-washed child of God. When you stand up to him and testify to what Jesus did, Satan will have to flee, because the only power he has against you is when he can convince you his lies are true. Refuse to believe a negative word, because Jesus took everything to the cross, and wants to restore to us everything that was lost when Adam sinned. Live as if it is so, because it is!
Because of your longing and love for Him, you will walk in the Spirit again as you pursue faithfulness to Him alone, giving Him first place in your life. Picture this: He gently calls your name, and you approach the Lord. Rays of splendor pour from his hands and heart, and His face shines with a love so pure it drives you to tears; His voice is like the sound of many waters running through your soul when He sings a song of rejoicing over the very day you were born, and His presence captivates you with incredible joy and peace.
He says over you even now:
"I am your Father. You are my child. I have never stopped loving you, even while you were turned away. Because you have humbled yourself and repented I will restore all that locusts have eaten, and through my blood you are made whole!"
