Charlie Kirk’s Stand for Israel

MUST READ (Shared on Telegram by Amir Tsarfati)

FROM THE DESK OF CHARLIE KIRK

Dear Mr. Prime Minister,

One of my greatest joys as a Christian is advocating for Israel and forming alliances with Jews in the fight to protect Judeo-Christian civilization. Most recently, I am proud to have taken over Ambassador Huckabee’s show on TBN where we continually support Israel and the Jewish people. As Muhammadism spreads into Western societies, it’s critical that Jews and Christians stay united in the effort to contain and roll back radical Islam and Sharia law.

I regret to report that anti-Israel and anti-Semitic trends are at record levels on social media. These negative sentiments then flow downstream into college campuses and even seep into the conservative MAGA community.

My team and I have spent months analyzing these trends and debating ideas that could help you and your country push back against these disturbing developments. Anti-Israel sentiment can undermine American support for Israel. The purpose of this letter is to lay out our concerns and outline potential remedies.

Everything written here is from a place of deep love for Israel and the Jewish people. I think it’s important to be brutally honest with those you love. In my opinion, Israel is losing the information war and needs a “communications intervention.”

I started to compose this letter to you on Easter. I should have been focused on my family, but I was getting bombarded with messages about the Israeli army making it difficult for Christians to access church in Jerusalem on Easter. At the time, I did not see any official statements pushing back on this narrative.

It was frustrating because pro-Israel surrogates like me should not be in charge of fact checking every piece of anti-Israel misinformation that pours into social media.

It wasn’t just Easter. On my recent campus tours, half the questions I get are about Israel and they’re all negative.

I often spend half my time on these campus tours defending Jews and Israel which I’m proud to do because I love Israel and love the Jewish faith. I spent endless hours with Dennis Prager over the years studying the Torah. Sometimes, it feels like I’m defending Israel in public more than your own government.

My experience on college campuses matches a recent Harvard Harris poll which reported 48% of 18-24 year old Americans support Hamas over Israel. Even in young MAGA circles, Israel is losing support.

We are getting huge crowds of 4,000-5,000 students on some of my college tours. My campus visits are becoming like a rock concert atmosphere filled with conservative patriots. Yet, on these campus visits, I’m constantly confronted with:

“Israel is an apartheid state.”

“Why does Israel conduct ethnic cleansing?”

“Why is America subsidizing Israel’s genocide against the Palestinian people?”

“Is American aid helping to subsidize Israel’s free health care?”

“Israel and the Jews are running U.S. foreign policy.”

“Israel and Jews are responsible for 9/11.”

“Defending Israel is not in our U.S. national interest.”

“Why is Israel trying to drag us into a war in the Middle East?”

Above are just a sampling of the negative Israel/Jewish comments and questions I confront on college campuses. I’m accused of being a paid apologist for Israel when I defend her; however, if I don’t defend Israel strongly enough, I’m accused of being anti-semitic.

I know you’ve got a 7 front war and my kvetching pales in comparison. But I’m trying to convey to you that Israel is losing support even in conservative circles. This should be a 5 alarm fire.

I’m often asked, “Why is Israel killing so many innocent civilians in Gaza?” I know Israel goes to great lengths by dropping flyers and even calling civilians to clear out of areas about to be bombed. I know Israel posts maps showing which areas should be evacuated. I know that Hamas uses civilians as human shields.

But 90% of the younger generations get their news from social media and podcasts and there is very little pushback or fact checking by the Israeli government and/or pro-Israel supporters in the media (especially social media).

I strongly suggest Israel NOT always depend on “subcontracting” their information war efforts to surrogates in America. Mr. Prime Minister, I urge you to REVAMP your information warfare strategy from top to bottom. Sometimes, the impression is given that Israel thinks everyone hates them so why care about winning over hearts and minds?

If there’s any truth to this impression, I urge you to consider that social media and podcasts is where you fight for the hearts and minds of the younger generation. Obviously, all this negative Israel propaganda on social media easily translates into pro-Hamas “Free Palestine” sentiment on many college campuses.

Here are some unsolicited recommendations my team and I suggest if you’re open-minded to a communications reset:

📷 Build a rapid response media team.

📷 Put together pro-Israel experts who can fact-check misinformation in real time.

📷 Launch an “Israel Truth Network” (ITN) with centralized, sharable resources.

📷 Invite released hostages on a U.S. speaking tour to tell the truth about Hamas.

📷 Interview everyday Israelis — Jewish, Arab, Druze, religious, secular — to show the world who Israel really is.

📷 Do a better job explaining the Iranian threat — in Israel’s own voice, not just through Americans.

📷 Rebuild Israel’s social media presence like a political campaign — define the “candidate,” fight back in the first person, and stop retreating from the battlefield of ideas.

Mr. Prime Minister, stop this retreat — get in the information war fight! The front lines of this war are on social media. Other than a few guerrilla operations, there’s very little Israel-created content. I saw that Israel has increased its Hasbara budget by 20x — now use it to create ORIGINAL content and blast it everywhere.

To sum up: Israel must reshape its communication strategy as a political campaign HQ for truth. Fill it with young fighters who know the digital battlefield. Stop letting enemies define Israel. Start defining her yourself.

Israel has enormous capabilities — use them. From my vantage point, the status quo is not working. Israel is getting CRUSHED on social media and you are losing younger generations of Americans, even among MAGA conservatives. In my opinion, you are losing the information war which will eventually translate into less political and military support from America.

The Holy Land is so important to my life, and it pains me to see support for Israel slip away.

Feel free to contact me on my private number below if you would like to discuss this further.

Sincerely,

Charlie Kirk

Get a Menorah in Time for Chanukah! ✡ "Seven Lamps Are Upon It" - ISRAEL365,

I see and behold - there is a menorah of gold with its bowl on its top; its seven lamps are upon it, and there are seven ducts for the lamps on its top.

Today's Israel Inspiration

Our Sages in the Talmud refer to Jerusalem as "the light of the world." The symbol of this holy spiritual light was the Menorah (Temple lamp) which emanated light through the unusual windows of the Sanctuary. The windows were made narrower on the inside - bringing less sunlight into the Sanctuary, but maximizing the spiritual light that burst forth to the world. Enlighten yourself this season with a beautiful Menorah from the Land of Israel.

This Israeli Arab Woman Deserves a Standing Ovation!

We're spellbound by this speech before the Israeli Knesset by Sara Zoabi, a proud Muslim ISRAELI who urges her fellow Israeli Arabs to wake up and realize that Israel is a paradise with equal rights, freedom of speech and worship.

Christians Stand Up for Rachel's Tomb as a Jewish, not Muslim, Holy Site

Last week, UNESCO approved a Palestinian resolution to change the status of Rachel’s Tomb and the Cave of the Patriarchs from Jewish to Muslim sites. A Christian group is fighting this "disinformation that attempts to destroy the Israelite connection to these holy sites."

Bronze Dreidel

This beautiful bronze dreidel is decorated with colorful jewels and engraved with a skyline of Jerusalem. It is decorated on all four sides with the four Hebrew letters corresponding to the phrase “a great miracle happened here.”

Today's Israel Photo

Today's photo shows the golden Menorah which sits at the top of the steps leading down to the Western Wall. Incredibly, this Menorah is biblically-accurate, made of pure gold according to all the specifications of the Torah, ready and waiting to be used in the future Temple!

Yesterday's Photo Trivia

You got it! Yesterday's photo showed an Israeli soldier who just finished his beret march at the top of Masada. In Hebrew, "Masada" means "fortress." This is one of Israel's most popular tourist destinations!

Reality Check

I thought I'd do a little "reality check" myself when I was in Israel Nov. 3-11, 2013. Here is what I found. What do you think?

Steve Martin
Founder
Love For His People, Inc.

(P.S. I took these photos myself with my little Fuji camera. Just the way it is.)

"West Bank"
- my guess is about 10 feet.
(Photo of the Jordan River, near Jericho, Israel.
Nov. 10, 2013)

"Settlements"
- must be the Bedouins who live outside Jerusalem.
Arab nomads I believe who won't move.

"Two States Solution"
- Jews and Moslems living together
as Israelis. Peacefully.

There is reality.
There is the truth.

If people would
open their eyes
and see it.

For instance, what world-wide politicians and "peace makers" have continually called "settlements" are actually beautiful homes of people. So just move them out???!!!

(And guess what? They have bought them rightfully.)

That is like telling the people of Charlotte, North Carolina, where I live, that you "must leave and give up everything YOU have worked for and built", to someone who doesn't own it, and will destroy it once you are gone.

Want a good example? The Gaza Strip was given as a peace gesture, demanded by the PLO, in order to move the "Peace Process" forward. And now what? Rockets continually fired at innocent Jewish civilians a few miles away, after the new "residents" in the Gaza Strip destroyed the homes and businesses of the previous rightful owners.

Let's get real here. Divide the Land of Israel, and as per the Living God of Israel, you will face His reality. Check out the Roman Empire, the British Empire, the Nazi Regime, the Soviet Union...all who opposed the people the Lord has chosen to live in His land are the ones who no longer live.

Other nations will be wise if they take heed to the historical facts.

Sincerely,
Steve Martin

P.S. Share if you too stand for Israel.

Young People to 'Engage' with Israel

Group Brings People to 'Engage' with Israel

JERUSALEM, Israel -- For decades, Christians from around the world have supported Israel and helped Jewish people return to the Land. But will the next generation continue the vision?

One group is trying to keep that vision alive.

(Editor's Note: Make that two! See our message below for our Love For His People "Ahava Adventures"!)

In the early 1990s, Ebenezer Operation Exodus began bringing immigrants from the Former Soviet Union back to Israel by ship.

Now, they're bringing young people on a unique trip called Engage Israel to give them a chance to experience Israel and God's plan for the Jewish people and the Land.

International Young Adults Program Coordinator of Ebenezer-Operation Exodus International Andy Ernst says 'Engage' is intended to help people 18 to 35 years old understand Israel, prophecy and aliyah -- Jewish immigration to the Land of Israel.

"My passion is to see young people getting trained and equipped here in Israel and being sent back to the nations and them asking God in their nation 'what can I do? How can I stand up for Israel? What will you give me as a task?'" Ernst told CBN News.

"We kind of pack their spiritual backpack with a solid understanding of Israel as of today, from the past and in the future and to go home with that understanding of the Bible is alive," Ernst said.

"Moni," 30, is from an Asian nation and did not want to be identified by his real name.

"I heard about Israel, I read about Israel," said Moni, adding that it's a different experience to actually be here.

"You know getting to see the people, getting to hear from the people their story and going to different places, seeing things, seeing things for myself," Moni explained.

The two-week trip to Israel is billed as an "adventure of a lifetime."  The participants hike the Golan Heights; slap mud on and float in the Dead Sea, ride camels in the desert and learn about the Holocaust.

Jonathan Sheard, 27, from the United Kingdom, said they're tired but there is so much to see and do.

"It's been a brilliant time of study as well as reflection as well as site-seeing as well as relaxation," Sheard said. "But it really has opened my eyes to a lot of things I didn't know and helped me to learn a lot more about myself and especially about the Lord."

Besides all the touring, the group takes on service projects like cleaning up a churchyard or the streets of one of the oldest cities in the world, Jericho, where they also meet with local Arab believers.

They also spend time with young Messianic Israelis and last summer helped out at a summer camp for Israeli children and played with Ethiopian children at an absorption center for new immigrants.

They spend time getting to know what it's like to be a soldier in today's Israel.

"Meeting the soldiers was impressive because they were really, really young," said Mikela Monachon, 17, from Switzerland. "We gave them presents and it was just [incredible]."

CBN News caught up with an Engage Israel tour at Ein Harod where the Bible says Gideon chose his army.

According to Melissa McCray, 21, from Arkansas in the U.S., prayer also plays a role in their time here.
"It's not really just here to have fun. We're here with a purpose," McCray said.

"One thing that we've been doing, which I've never done before is we have a prayer chain every night. And so we take turns praying throughout the night for Israel."

Last summer about 100 people from 20 nations participated in the two-week Engage Israel tour.

"The idea is not as many as possible but from as many different nations as possible so the Word would go back to those nations and young people would take it to other young people and multiply the understanding of Israel, of Bible prophecy, of our call as Christians to stand with Israel and to help them home," Ernst said.
Katie Stucken, 31, is the Engage Representative for South East Asia Oceania.

"I love this Land, love this country and understanding of what the Lord is doing here in Israel and amongst His people is very much on my heart and I really want to see in my generation raised up to understand that also," Stucken said.

"One of the fundamental parts of that is coming to the Land and putting your feet on the ground and that changes something in your heart and it shifts something in your walk with Jesus and I believe that's really important," she added.

One focus of the trip is on facilitating aliyah.

Edgar Deleon, 26, from Monterey, Mexico, says the most important part of the trip for him was the teachings and seeing how Bible prophecies like aliyah are being fulfilled.

"And how blessed we are that we can get to see that with our eyes…
how the people of Israel [are] coming back to the land that the Lord has promised," Deleon said.

And what will they tell others when they go home?

"I will tell others how great it was just because it's amazing," said Monachon.

"To stand up for Israel," said Deleon.

"Come themselves. Experience God in the Holy Land," said McCray.

Editor's Note: Love For His People, Inc. also desires to take young people to Israel, to spend time with our Israeli friends and meet new ones.

Our trip this year takes place from Nov. 2, 2013 - Nov. 11, 2013, leaving from Charlotte, NC.
