FCJ Reports Ukrainian Jews Desperate to Escape Unrest, Make Aliyah to Israel
By JNS
“Now Hashem said unto Avram: ‘Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto the land that I will show thee.” Genesis 12:1 (The Israel Bible™)
The International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, or The Fellowship, said that in the last two weeks they have been flooded with hundreds of calls from Ukrainian Jews inquiring about immigrating to Israel as a result of increased tensions with Russia.
In the past month alone, The Fellowship, known for helping Jews immigrate to Israel, has received more than 1,700 inquiries (over 1,000 emails and 720 phone calls) from Jews in the Ukraine in their office in Kiev, the organization said.
There are 260,000 Jews living in the Ukraine and about 5,000 Jews are eligible for emigration who live in the Donbass region, which has been experiencing violence and unrest since March 2014 when government troops began fighting pro-Russian rebels, following the Russia’s annexation of Crimea.
“The plight of the Jewish people in Ukraine is deteriorating,” said Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein, founder and president of The Fellowship. “Our support for them will mean the difference between life and death, whether we’re providing critical aid such as food and medicine or helping those who wish to immigrate to Israel.”
Overall, as a result of the conflict and rising tensions in the region, The Fellowship has brought more than 3,200 Jews from the Ukraine to Israel.
BBC Ignores Olympian Usain Bolt's Commitment to Christ - CBN News
BBC Ignores Olympian Usain Bolt's Commitment to Christ

The fastest man on the planet, Usain Bolt is making headlines around the world, but reports say the God he worships is being ignored by the BBC.
Reports say that BBC has ignored Bolt's Christian beliefs. Following his 200m race, he said, "Nothing would have been possible without Him," referencing his faith and God.
Although the Olympian has been outspoken about his faith, the BBC network appears as if it refuses to cover that aspect of Bolt's story. The BBC recorded the race second-by-second, described Usain's personal life but never mentioned his faith.
When he got on his knees to thank God after his victory, the BBC presenter reportedly called his act of worship 'a moment to himself' instead.
Representatives for Bolt say BBC has known for more than four years about his tradition of giving God the glory before and after each race.
He waits for the camera to be on him so his worship can be a public witness for Christ.
Bolt's public relations team and members of his family responded saying, "Usain Bolt is a Bible-believing, God-honoring, Jesus-worshipping Christian. But not a whisper from the BBC; not a word of explanation of the real significance of these 'moments to himself.'"
Christian Support for Israel: 'You Are Not Alone' - CHRIS MITCHELL/CBN NEWS CHARISMA NEWS
Christian Support for Israel: 'You Are Not Alone'
For the past several months, Israelis have suffered a wave of terror attacks. Emergency response is key to keeping casualties as low as possible.
Part of that is having enough ambulances to do the job. One organization spoke with CBN News Middle East Bureau Chief Chris Mitchell about how it's working to provide first responders with these tools.
Getting to the scene of a terror attack quickly is critical to save lives.
That's why Jesus Ministries donated three new ambulances to Israel's first responders, Magen David Adom.
"And this is a practical way of showing support," Sadhu Sundar Selvaraj with Jesus Ministries told CBN News. "That I believe is because in my little survey that I did, one way we can help the poor is by the need for blood donation and medical supplies."
The ambulances will make a difference beyond fighting terrorism.
"Each one of these vehicles is providing services to hundreds and thousands of people every year. By that we can deliver babies safely on route to the hospitals. We can resituate elderly people. We can support people with disabilities ... and then evacuate them in very good medical conditions and supervision to the hospitals," Yonatan Yagodovsky explained to CBN News.
The gifts demonstrate the growing relationship between Christians and Jews.
"The ambulances are an important part of showing to the Israeli people the Christian support and love for Israel. This is one of the most important aspects of the ambulances. It shows to the Israeli people, who often feel very alone, that we are not alone. That God has brought these Christian people to support us and to lift us up. And this does that," Ann Ayalon, wife of former Israeli Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon, told CBN News.
Norman Feingold, founder of Christian Friends of Magen David Adom also said the Jewish people need to know millions of Christians support them.
"We're an isolated people. We're people who are vilified. We're castigated. We're ostracized in so many halls of the Earth," Feingold told CBN News. "At the same time, once you can lift the manhole off the secret chambers, there are millions and millions who are supportive and love the Jewish people.
"Our job is to open those doors, to pry them open, to keep them open and to make sure that the Jewish Christian relationship is a continuing beautiful, beautiful flower that blossoms and blooms for all the whole wide world to see," he said.
One ambulance driver wanted to pass along a message to Christians.
"He said, 'tell them, that each time I go out on a call, I feel that all of them are with me. And I have the energy to save a person's life and to provide health and safety to the people that I am called to save,'" Feingold added.
"In the end times, Israel is going to be left all alone, as we read from the Holy Scriptures, and the only people who are going to stand with them as it was in the past, will be the Christians," Selvaraj said.

The Radical Left's Demonic Agenda to Experiment on Our Kids - JASON AND DAVID BENHAM CHARISMA NEWS
The Radical Left's Demonic Agenda to Experiment on Our Kids
Last week, we spoke at the Charlotte Mecklenburg School system's board meeting as it discussed the upcoming "gender unicorn." Because so many concerned parents showed up to speak, our time was narrowed from three minutes to one.
David wrote his speech, but he had to shrink it to 50 seconds.
The bottom line is, these bathroom policies—and laws in other states—have little to do with the emotional struggle of the transgender community, but everything to do with a political revolution of the radical left.
The following is David's speech, with his video at the end:
My name is David Benham. I'm a concerned father of five children, and as a business owner, I'm an employer to parents of many more kids in and around the Charlotte Metro area.I came here tonight to plead with you not to use our children—our future—as social experiments. I'm asking you not to let our kids become pawns in the hands of radical, sexual revolutionaries who don't care about them, you, me or anyone but themselves.Their main target is to eliminate any and all moral standards. This allows those pushing the agenda to rebuild society in man's image—not God's—with government as the ultimate giver (and taker) of our rights. The apostle Paul talked about this destructive pattern in Romans 1, where he said, "Professing to be wise, they became fools, and exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed animals ..."Needless to say, when I saw the "gender unicorn" for the first time in our teacher's manual, I was blown away. It was as if this verse of scripture came to life right before my very eyes, but for all the wrong reasons. This fury little animal is dedicated to capturing the imaginations of our children and forcing their participation in the radical, sexual revolution. Looking like Barney with a horn, the "gender unicorn" is nothing more than a clinched fist dedicated not only to eliminating moral standards, but also the rights of privacy and protection for all our children. At first, those pushing the sexual revolution wanted acceptance. Then they asked for appreciation. Then they demanded celebration. And, today, they seek to force our participation.By voting to move forward with the new CMS policies—though they are on hold for a time—you have chosen to join this radical revolution, with our children on the front lines. This is simply unacceptable. After reading several of the new policies I thought to myself ...Should our daughters be forced to sleep in the same room as boys during overnight school activities?Should parents really be kept out of gender conversations between their children and teachers even though evidence shows up to 80 percent of children lose transgender feelings over time and that gender transitions can result in regret, further confusion and health risks? While we seek to accommodate those who truly struggle with gender confusion, it's logically absurd to flip the entire system of standards upside-down.We don't allow children to spit on the walls simply because they feel like it. No, we have standards in place for cleanliness. How much more should we have standards in place for safety? We don't allow a student to defecate in the trashcan because the stalls make him feel claustrophobic, do we? No, we have standards in place for everyone and make exceptions for the extreme. What about the girls who simply feel unsafe or uncomfortable sharing the bathroom with boys—do their feelings matter?Maybe you think we're being extreme here, but are we? Last year, if we wrote about a horned, Barney-like creature pushing the sexual revolution on our kids, you'd say we were extreme. So we've entered new territory as a nation, as unbelievable as it may seem. The good news is that God says if we know the truth – the truth will make us free.So here's the truth we cannot forget: The real issue here is not the emotional struggle of the transgender community, but a political revolution of the radical left.
Because David didn't get a chance to read this to the school board, he pitched these notes and went off the cuff for 50 seconds. Check out the video of what he said.

Lutheran Church Joins List of Anti-Israel Churches With Demand US Halt Aid to Jewish State - Abra Forman BREAKING ISRAEL NEWS
Lutheran Church Joins List of Anti-Israel Churches With Demand US Halt Aid to Jewish State
By Abra Forman BREAKING ISRAEL NEWS
“And Hashem thy God will put all these curses upon thine enemies, and on them that hate thee, that persecuted thee.” Deuteronomy 30:7 (The Israel Bible™)
The Evangelical Lutheran Church (ELCA) has overwhelmingly approved a resolution calling on the American government to halt all aid to Israel if the building of “settlements” continues in Judea and Samaria. It also demands that Israel “end its occupation” and recognize a Palestinian state.
The resolution, which passed at an extremely wide margin of 751-162 at a triannual assembly in New Orleans, stated that the United States must end all financial and military aid to Israel if Israel does not “stop settlement building and the expansion of existing settlements in East Jerusalem and the West Bank, end its occupation of Palestinian territory, and enable an independent Palestinian state.”
The church also called on the American president to recognize the “State of Palestine” and refrain from “prevent[ing] the application of the State of Palestine for full membership in the United Nations.”
It passed a separate resolution giving a nod to the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement, calling for “a human rights-based investment screen for its social responsibility fund”, which essentially meant divestment from Israel and “positive investment in Palestine and other under-resourced areas where human rights abuses materially impact the well-being of all people.”
The ELCA claims about four million members in 10,000 congregations throughout the country.
The resolutions were sponsored by an anti-Israel group within the church called Isaiah 58, which said its goal was to “ensure the church is not profiting from human rights abuses, including Israel’s nearly half-century-old military occupation of Palestinian lands.”
Isaiah 58 released a press release praising the move and claiming that the Lutheran church “has long opposed Israel’s illegal settlement enterprise and supported nonviolent action in support of Palestinian rights.”
The statement also bragged of being in league with other anti-Israel churches, saying the ELCA was joining “the growing number of US churches that have endorsed economic acts of conscience in support of Palestinian freedom and human rights, including the United Methodist Church, Presbyterian Church (USA), the United Church of Christ, and others.”
In fact, though the United Methodist Church is indeed known for its Israel divestment, in May the church voted down four pro-BDS resolutions.
The actions of anti-Israel churches have received strong pushback from other Christian groups and ministries in the US. The Southern Baptist Church passed a pro-Israel resolution in June which condemned BDS and stated strongly that the church “supports the right of Israel to exist as a sovereign state.”
Pastor John Hagee, the head of Christians United for Israel (CUFI), has called anti-Israel Christians “misguided.”
“Yes, our Christian values demand that we have compassion for those that suffer. But if you blame Palestinian suffering on Israel then you’re ignorant about this conflict,” he told Breaking Israel News in July.
