Scriptures

II Timothy 3:1 MEV Know this: In the last days perilous times will come.
Exodus 20:13 KJV Thou shalt not kill.
Matthew 9:10-12 MEV While Jesus sat at supper in the house, many tax collectors and sinners came and sat down with Him and His disciples. When the Pharisees saw it, they said to His disciples, “Why does your Teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?” But when Jesus heard that, He said to them, “Those who are well do not need a physician, but those who are sick.
John 8:7 MEV So when they continued asking Him, He stood up and said to them, “Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her.”
Matthew 4:18-20 NKJV And Jesus, walking by the Sea of Galilee, saw two brothers, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen. Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.” They immediately left their nets and followed Him.
Acts 4:13 KJV Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.
Matthew 14:28-33 NKJV And Peter answered Him and said, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.” So He said, “Come.” And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus. But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, “Lord, save me!” And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him,“O you of little faith, why did you doubt?” And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased. Then those who were in the boat came and worshiped Him, saying, “Truly You are the Son of God.”
Matthew 26:74-75 NKJV Then he began to curse and swear, saying, “I do not know the Man!” Immediately a rooster crowed. And Peter remembered the word of Jesus who had said to him, “Before the rooster crows, you will deny Me three times.” So he went out and wept bitterly.
Luke 5:30-32 KJV But their scribes and Pharisees murmured against his disciples, saying, Why do ye eat and drink with publicans and sinners? And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
I Corinthians 1:25-29 KJV Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men. For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: That no flesh should glory in his presence.
Acts 2:1-6 NKJV When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. And there were dwelling in Jerusalem Jews, devout men, from every nation under heaven. And when this sound occurred, the multitude came together, and were confused, because everyone heard them speak in his own language.
Acts 2:7-11 NKJV Then they were all amazed and marveled, saying to one another, “Look, are not all these who speak Galileans? And how is it that we hear, each in our own language in which we were born? Parthians and Medes and Elamites, those dwelling in Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia, Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya adjoining Cyrene, visitors from Rome, both Jews and proselytes, Cretans and Arabs—we hear them speaking in our own tongues the wonderful works of God.”
Acts 2:13-18 NKJV Others mocking said, “They are full of new wine.” But Peter, standing up with the eleven, raised his voice and said to them, “Men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and heed my words. For these are not drunk, as you suppose, since it is only the third hour of the day. But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel: ‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams. And on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; And they shall prophesy.
Acts 2:19-23 NKJV I will show wonders in heaven above And signs in the earth beneath: Blood and fire and vapor of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the LordAnd it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved.’ “Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a Man attested by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs which God did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves also know— Him, being delivered by the determined purpose and foreknowledge of God, you have taken by lawless hands, have crucified, and put to death;
Acts 2:24 KJV Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.
Acts 2:29-41 NKJV “Men and brethren, let me speak freely to you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his tomb is with us to this day. Therefore, being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him that of the fruit of his body, according to the flesh, He would raise up the Christ to sit on his throne,he, foreseeing this, spoke concerning the resurrection of the Christ, that His soul was not left in Hades, nor did His flesh see corruption. This Jesus God has raised up, of which we are all witnesses. Therefore being exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He poured out this which you now see and hear. “For David did not ascend into the heavens, but he says himself: ‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool.”’ “Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ.” Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Men and brethren, what shall we do?” Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.” And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, “Be saved from this perverse generation.” Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them.
Matthew 16:16-17 NCV Simon Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Jesus answered, “You are blessed, Simon son of Jonah, because no person taught you that. My Father in heaven showed you who I am.

Truth: America's Only Hope - MILTON SMITH CHARISMA NEWS

America must exalt the truth once more. (ariwriter)

Truth: America's Only Hope

MILTON SMITH  CHARISMA NEWS
Once upon a time, in America, there was Truth.
A bottom line. A common denominator. A measure without flaw. An absolute. A plumb line. Black and white. Eternal in weight. A light shinning in the dark. The perfect balance. Reality profoundly zenith above and beyond all opinion. Something to build upon. Something to trust without fear. More than an ideal.
Strong enough to bring down the mighty and exalt the lowly. Not subdued by the sands of time. Gentle enough to embrace a newborn, and yet stalwart enough to bare the sword for freedom. Strength in the heat of battle. Courage when others scatter. That which conforms to final Reality. That's what Truth is.
Many today mimic the words of Pilate: "What is Truth?" Jesus said: "I am the truth!"
Abraham Lincoln said, "Sir, my concern is not whether God is on our side; my greatest concern is to be on God's side, for God is always right."
I heard a report recently that said approximately 40 percent of the U.S. population may be suffering from some form of mental illness.
Anxiety is at the top of the list. People fear because of no absolutes in their lives. Removal of the Bible and prayer from our schools has abolished our moral compass. Psychological mind games have been perpetrated on our children.
"Right is no longer right. Wrong is no longer wrong!"
Everything is a blurred line, a "perhaps" or "maybe," but not absolute. We have a generation of people today who are more informed about sex, gays, drugs, iPhones, rock music and the internet than they are about history, math, government and commonsense living.
Jesus said: "You shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free" (John 8:32).
People don't have to be tormented in their minds any longer. Jesus and His Word are the only true reality on Earth. Until we come to grips with this fact, solutions will be obscure or altogether fleeting. Much of the media is nothing but a culture of corruption.
So called "reporters" are masters of deception. Truth to them is a dangerous threat! In this day and time if you're truthful, "you're a fanatic, a bigot, a racist, a right-wing extremist and a major threat to society." The fact is, the mainstream media is one of the most dangerous culprits in the devil's arsenal! In deciding who you're going to vote for in this upcoming election, ask yourself: What is the "Truth" about some of the major issues we are facing as a nation?
Does God hate abortion? Yes! Did God institute marriage between a man and a woman? Yes! Did God instruct Israel to build a wall? Yes! Are Christians and Jews being murdered by terrorists in America? Yes! Is immorality being forced upon us? Yes!
God does not vote. We do. He gave us that responsibility!
Prayer is not enough! We must vote for the platform that represents God's truth! Under the old covenant, God appointed kings. Today He leaves the appointing of our leaders entirely up to us! Christ is the head and we are the body. He said the government is upon His shoulders! We are His shoulders! He needs us to occupy until He returns! America is imploding and the church is the only one who can save the nation. This is the most critical election of our life time! If we don't vote, we reassign our mandate from God to the enemies of this world. What would Jesus do?

This Was the Historic Moment of Wednesday's Debate the Liberal Mainstream Media Won't Talk About - BOB ESCHLIMAN CHARISMA NEWS

This Was the Historic Moment of Wednesday's Debate the Liberal Mainstream Media Won't Talk About

In the 2016 presidential election cycle, there's been one constant: this election has been unlike any other.
So, when someone says a candidate has done something "unprecedented," it's easy to say, "What's new?" But, in the opening moments of Wednesday night's third and final debate, Donald Trump did something that hasn't ever happened in the history of American presidential politics.
Since the Roe v. Wade decision was handed down by the U.S. Supreme Court in 1973, no major-party presidential candidate has given a more thorough defense of life than Trump made. And when Hillary Clinton responded, the difference between the two candidates couldn't have been more stark.
Moderator Chris Wallace opened the debate with a discussion about the Supreme Court. During the follow-up, he asked Donald Trump if he would support a high court decision that repeals Roe.
Here's how the debate ensued:
Trump: Well, if that would happen, because I am pro-life and I will be appointing pro-life judges, I would think that that would go back to the individual states.
Wallace: But I'm asking you specifically --
Trump: If they overturned it, it will go back to the states.
Wallace: What I'm asking you, sir, is do you want to see the court overturn? You just said you want to see the court protect the second amendment. Do you want to see the court overturn Roe v. Wade?
Trump: If we put another two or perhaps three justices on, that will happen. And that will happen automatically in my opinion because I'm putting pro-life justices on the court. I will say this, it will go back to the states a tornado states will then make a determination.
Wallace: Secretary Clinton?
Clinton: I strongly support Roe v. Wade, which guarantees a constitutional right to a woman to make the most intimate, most difficult in many cases decisions about her health care that one can imagine. And in this case it's not only about Roe v. Wade. It is about what's happening right now in America so many states are putting very stringent regulations on women that block them from exercising that choice to the extent that they are defunding Planned Parenthood, which, of course, provides all kinds of cancer screenings and other benefits for women in our country.
Donald has said he's in favor of defunding Planned Parenthood. He even supported shutting the government down to defund planned parenthood. I will defend Planned Parenthood. I will defend Roe v. Wade and I will defend women's rights to make their own health care decisions.
Wallace: Secretary --
Clinton: And we've come too far to have that turn back now. Indeed he said women should be punished, that there should be some form of punishment for women who obtain abortions. And I could just not be more opposed to that kind of thinking.
Wallace: I'm going to give you a chance to respond, but I want to ask you, Secretary Clinton, how far you believe the right to abortion goes. You have been quoted as saying that the fetus has no constitutional rights. You also voted against a ban on late-term partial birth abortions. Why?
Clinton: Because, Roe v. Wade very clearly sets out that there can be regulations on abortion so long as the life and the health of the mother are taken into account. And when I voted as a senator, I did not think that that was the case. The kinds of cases that fall at the end of pregnancy are often the most heartbreaking, painful decisions for families to make. I have met with women who toward the end of their pregnancy, get the worst news one could get, that their health is in jeopardy if they continue to carry to term or that something terrible has happened or just been discovered about the pregnancy. I do not think the United States government should be stepping in and making those most personal of decisions. So you can regulate if you are doing so with the life and the health of the mother taken into account.
Wallace: Mr. Trump, your reaction and particularly on this issue of late-term partial birth abortion.
Trump: I think it's terrible if you go with what Hillary is saying in the ninth month you can take the baby and rip the baby out of the womb of the mother just prior to the birth of the baby.
Now, you can say that that's okay, and Hillary can say that that's okay, but it's not okay with me. Because based on what she's saying and based on where she's going and where she's been, you can take the baby and rip the baby out of the womb in the ninth month, only the final day. And that's not acceptable.
Clinton: Well, that is not what happens in these cases. And using that kind of scare rhetoric is just terribly unfortunate. You should meet with some of the women that I've met with.
Women I've known over the course of my life. This is one of the worst possible choices that any woman and her family has to make. I do not believe the government should be ING it. I've been to countries where governments forced women to have abortions like they did in China or force women to bear children like they used to do in Romania. I can tell you the government has no business in the decisions that women make with their families in accordance with their faith, with medical advice, and I will stand up for that right.
Wallace: All right. Just briefly, I want to move on.
Trump: And honestly, nobody has business doing what I just said, doing that as late as one or two or three or four days prior to birth, nobody has that.
Trump's comments about the Supreme Court, in general, were just as exciting for conservatives and evangelical Christians. The GOP nominee made a passionate defense for a strict constructionist view of the nation's framing document:
The Supreme Court, it's what it's all about. Our country is so, so, just so imperative that we have the right justices. Something happened recently where Justice Ginsburg made some very inappropriate statements toward me and toward a tremendous number of people, many, many millions of people that I represent, and she was forced to apologize and apologize she did. But these were statements that should never ever have been made.
We need a supreme court that, in my opinion, is going to uphold the second amendment and all amendments, but the second amendment, which is under absolute siege. I believe if my opponent should win this race, which I truly don't think will happen, we will have a second amendment which will be a very, very small replica of what it is right now. But I feel that it's absolutely important that we recall because of the fact that it is under such trauma. I feel that the justices that I am going to appoint — and I've named 20 of them — the justices that I'm going to appoint will be pro-life, they will have a conservative bent, they will be protecting the second amendment, they are great scholars in all cases and they're people of tremendous respect. They will interpret the constitution the way the founders wanted it interpreted.
And I believe that's very, very important. I don't think we should have justices appointed that decide what they want to hear.
It's all about the constitution of — and so important, the constitution the way it was meant to be and those are the people that I will appoint.
Liberal mainstream media pundits are attempting to declare the debate a "push," or a slight win for Clinton. But, social media says Donald Trump dominated the night once again.
Either way, we'll find out for sure in less than 21 days.

The Undeniable, Glaring Bias of the Mainstream Media - MICHAEL BROWN CHARISMA NEWS

The mainstream media doesn't think you should hear about it, just like they don't think you should hear about the WikiLeaks revelations or other stories that could help Donald Trump and hurt Hillary Clinton. (REUTERS/Paolo Bona/Files)

The Undeniable, Glaring Bias of the Mainstream Media

MICHAEL BROWN  CHARISMA NEWS
In the Line of Fire, by Michael Brown
On March 30, 2016, the National Enquirer released a bombshell report, accusing Sen. Ted Cruz of having five mistresses, and the mainstream media was all over it, pressing him on the accuracy of the charges, reading between the lines if he didn't explicitly deny every detail of the report, and talking about it incessantly for days.
Yet all of this was based on one single report from a notorious tabloid, and without any substantiated claims at that.
More recently, after the 2005 video surfaced of Donald Trump's infamous conversation with Billy Bush, a number of women came forward accusing Trump of inappropriate sexual behavior (serious charges to be sure), and he too was dogged with this incessantly by the mainstream media, which now had even more salacious material to report.
The women were interviewed on TV, and their accusations dominated the headlines day after day. This—in contrast with the flood of stunning, Clinton-hurting, WikiLeaks revelations—was big news. This was what really mattered to the American people. This is what they needed to hear in the closing weeks before the elections.
And then yesterday, Oct. 18, lightning struck again, but this time, it was Hillary Clinton being accused of sexual scandals (with both men and women), and the accuser was actually someone who allegedly worked closely with the Clintons for years.
The bombshell was reported once more by the National Enquirer, and it was given immediate, massive exposure by being featured as the lead story on the Drudge Report, read by millions of people each day.
You might say, "That's odd. I didn't hear anything about that."
But of course. The mainstream media doesn't think you should hear about it, just like they don't think you need to hear about the WikiLeaks revelations or other stories that could help Donald Trump and hurt Hillary Clinton.
Yet it was nothing more than an Enquirer story that launched the non-stop attacks on Ted Cruz, and from the initial reports, it appears that the witness indicting the Clintons is far more credible than those attacking Cruz. Yet thus far, the mainstream media is largely silent on the matter.
As I scanned the online news sites of ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, along with the New York Times, the Washington PostTIME and Newsweek, not one of them had one syllable about these charges against Hillary Clinton—and I searched these sites eight hours after the Drudge headline went live.
At the same time, almost all of them had one or more article about Trump's alleged sexual sins. (But wait. I stand corrected. The Washington Post website really did have much more important news to cover, giving pride of place to this story: "First Lady Shimmers in Versace at the Obamas' Final State Dinner." Yes, this is far more important than the other, national news.)
Why the ridiculously obvious double standard? Why the frenzied reporting of a National Enquirer report accusing Cruz of sexual infidelities but such studious silence when the same publication accuses Hillary? Did this notorious tabloid suddenly become reputable when it targeted the staunchly conservative Cruz but again became disreputable when it targeted Hillary?
Worse still, as others have pointed out, the mainstream media has all but ignored the WikiLeaks email dumps, although the information contained in them so far would be enough to sink most campaigns. The coverage has been minimal, at best, and quite understated at that, giving the viewer the feeling that the news is marginal, while what really matters is whether Trump touched a woman on a plane 30 years ago (or more recently in other settings).
To further underscore this glaring double standard, if the current batch of WikiLeaks emails had come from the Trump campaign rather than the Clinton campaign, with his people insulting Catholics and with his right-hand man expressing disappointment that it was a Muslim, not a white American, who was one of the San Bernardino murderers, the media would virtually crucify Trump, with shrill calls across the nation demanding that he step down and that he fire his campaign manager immediately.
But when it is Hillary Clinton and John Podesta at the center of the firestorm, the email scandals take a very distant back seat to the sex charges against Trump (which, to repeat, I absolutely do not minimize, if true).
And what if Trump had been guilty of using a private email server for classified government correspondence, as Hillary was? What if his staff had destroyed his laptops and cellphones, refused to answer more than 100 incriminating questions from Congress, pleading the Fifth Amendment and then were granted immunity? The media would shout hysterically, "Cover up! Expose the dirty rascals!"
Instead, when it is Hillary at the center of these very serious charges, they join in the cover-up.
But should this surprise us when recently released reports indicate that political donations from the media are 27-1 in favor of Hillary over Trump? And should it surprise us when off-the-record meetings are set up with media elites and the Clinton campaign?
As if further evidence of the media's extreme bias was needed, just look at the mainstream media's virtual blackout of two damning videos (see here and here) produced by James O'Keefe's Project Veritas, apparently documenting serious campaign abuses by operatives allegedly working directly with the Clinton campaign.
You didn't hear about those either? No surprise. The media doesn't seem to think you should hear about them either.
Recently, conservative pundits Pat Buchanan and George Will have agreed with Trump that, on some level, "the system" is rigged, with Buchanan claiming that, "Big Media is the power that sustains the forces of globalism."
But again, none of this should surprise us.
As I noted in Outlasting the Gay Revolution, liberal media bias "has been documented for several decades, beginning in 1981, when professors S. Robert Lichter and Stanley Rothman 'released a groundbreaking survey of 240 journalists at the most influential national media outlets—including the New York TimesWashington PostWall Street JournalTIMENewsweekU.S. News & World Report, ABC, CBS, NBC and PBS—on their political attitudes and voting patterns.' The survey found these 'media elites' to be shockingly liberal, to the point that '54 percent did not regard adultery as wrong, compared to only 15 percent [of the general public] who regarded it as wrong,' while, 'Ninety percent agree that a woman has the right to decide for herself whether to have an abortion; 79 percent agree strongly with this pro-choice position.'"
I say it's high time for a media revolution and a listener-viewer-reader revolt, which would mean the media leaders report the news in an unbiased way, and if that is not possible, they then clearly declare their biases.
And if they won't do either (or if their biases are too offensive), we take our business elsewhere.

Thousands of Christian Pilgrims Gather in Jerusalem to Affirm Support of the Nations on Sukkot - Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz BREAKING ISRAEL NEWS

ICEJ Feast of Tabernacles Conference commences at Ein Gedi (Vimeo Screenshot)

Thousands of Christian Pilgrims Gather in Jerusalem to Affirm Support of the Nations on Sukkot

“And it shall come to pass that every one that is left of all the nations that came against Yerushalayim shall go up from year to year to worship the King Hashem of hosts and to keep the Sukkot.” Zechariah 14:16 (The Israel Bible™)
In a clear fulfillment of the prophecy in Zechariah, over 5,000 Christians from more than 90 nations came to Jerusalem to celebrate the holiday of Sukkot, which began Sunday evening October 16.
In what has become an annual pilgrimage, thousands came to participate in the 37th annual Feast of Tabernacles conference and celebration, hosted by the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem (ICEJ). The week-long festival, held from October 16-21, is an unmitigated outpouring of Christian support for Israel.

This year, in light of the UNESCO vote last week that granted Islam exclusive religious claim to Jerusalem, the conference takes on an even more urgent note.
The conference coincides with the week-long holiday of Sukkot, which, in Jewish tradition, has significance for all the nations of the world. During the holiday, a total of 70 bull sacrifices were brought to the Temple. In the Talmud, it is taught that Rabbi Eliezer said, “Why are 70 offerings brought on Sukkot? For the [merit of the] 70 nations of the world.” Sukkot is unique among all the Jewish holidays for this international element.

This year’s conference will feature several dozen pro-Israel Christian parliamentarians and government officials from more than twenty countries. Many of these visiting officials are affiliated with the Israel Allies Foundation, while several African nations are sending government delegations to represent their countries at this year’s Feast. The ICEJ also will host the largest ever groups of pilgrims from Chinese- and Spanish-speaking countries, continuing the trend in recent years of increasing attendance from Latin America and Asia.
Stay up to date with all your Prophecy News!
The theme of the conference is “All the Families”, referring to the family of nations that trace their lineage back to Biblical Abraham.
And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and be thou a blessing. Genesis 12:2
The conference opened with a reading of Ezekiel’s vision of dry bones by the ICEJ national directors.
The hand of Hashem was upon me and Hashem carried me out in a spirit and set me down in the midst of the valley and it was full of bones. Ezekiel 37:1
The timely significance of the conference was emphasized when Apostle Rene Terra Nova from Brazil told of an amazing answer to prayer in his country. He proudly announced that as a result of their prayers, the Brazilian government retracted their vote of approval cast last week at the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) on a resolution saying that the Temple Mount in Jerusalem had no connection to Judaism.

The first night of the conference was celebrated Sunday evening at Ein Gedi, a natural spring on the shores of the Dead Sea. With song and dance, several thousand Christian pilgrims displayed their love and support for the Holy Land.
A prayer session was held on the second day at the Garden Tomb, a rock-cut tomb considered by some Christians to be the site of the burial and resurrection of Jesus.
The conference will culminate in the spectacular Parade of Nations, in which thousands of pilgrims, many dressed in their nation’s traditional garb, will parade through Jerusalem.

The  conference also gives practical support to Israel. It is Israel’s largest annual
tourist event and the largest solidarity mission to Israel this year, injecting an estimated $16 million into Israel’s economy.
The ICEJ was founded during the first Christian celebration of the Feast of Tabernacles in October 1980, in response to the last thirteen national embassies leaving Jerusalem under threat of an Arab oil boycott. Today, the Christian Embassy is considered the world’s largest pro-Israel Christian organization, with established branches in over 85 nations and a reach into more than 160 nations worldwide.
