Partnering With Angels to Birth God's Promises in Your Life - KYLE WINKLER CHARISMA NEWS

Partnering With Angels to Birth God's Promises in Your Life

KYLE WINKLER  CHARISMA NEWS
The Bible promises that God's spoken Word succeeds in what it's intended to do (see Isa. 55:11). Of course, this means whatever God speaks happens. But it also means that God's Word spoken out of the mouth of a child of God has the same power.
How Angels Enact God's Word
As I explore in-depth in my book, Activating the Power of God's Wordthe way the Bible describes that this works is fascinating, and it involves the cooperation of two beings: humans and angels. Let me first tackle the role of the angels. The Bible proclaims, "Bless the Lord, you his angels, you who are mighty, and do his commands, and obey the voice of his word" (Ps. 103:20). What the first part of this psalm reveals is that God has delegated authority to the angels to enact His Word.
Think about the voice activation of your modern smartphone assistant, like Siri or Google. When you speak, "Hey, Siri" the phone comes to life and awaits your command. Of course, I don't intend to portray the angels as robots, but I imagine that they are "always on," listening for God's Word. And when they hear it, they go to work to help make it happen.
How You Give God's Word a Voice
The second aspect of the psalm uncovers the second intriguing concept. Notice it describes the role of the angels as those who "obey the voice of God's Word." But what does this mean? We know that the Bible is considered the Word of God. But if you hold your Bible up to your ear, it doesn't audibly speak to you. That's because the Bible does not have a voice unless we give it a voice. Yes, we—Christians—are given God's Word to speak. And when we speak it, it maintains God's authority as if He has spoken it Himself. That's because they are His words, not ours.
Activate God's Word
Think about the implications of all of this. When you speak a declaration of the Scripture in Philippians 4:6, "I am not anxious for anything," you give voice to God's Word, activating the angels to bring peace that surpasses all understanding. Or when you declare 1 Corinthians 10:13, saying, "No temptation will overtake me," the angels respond to it by providing a way of escape.
Remember: whether spoken directly from His mouth or spoken through you and me, God's Word is sure to succeed. It never falters; it never fails. It will uphold you through anything you currently face and whatever the future brings. Angels are ready and waiting to ensure that it happens.

"Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord."  (Ephesians 6:4, NASU)

"Fathers, don't exasperate your children by coming down hard on them. Take them by the hand and lead them in the way of the Master." (Ephesians 6:4, THE MESSAGE)

"I'm not writing all this as a neighborhood scold just to make you feel rotten. I'm writing as a father to you, my children. I love you and want you to grow up well, not spoiled. There are a lot of people around who can't wait to tell you what you've done wrong, but there aren't many fathers willing to take the time and effort to help you grow up. It was as Jesus helped me proclaim God's Message to you that I became your father. I'm not, you know, asking you to do anything I'm not already doing myself. (I Corinthians 4:14-16, THE MESSAGE)

Taking God at His Word to Bless – and Not to Curse – Israel CBN News Tzippe Barrow

Taking God at His Word to Bless – and Not to Curse – Israel
06-12-2017
CBN News Tzippe Barrow
JERUSALEM, Israel – Last month, U.S. President Donald Trump gave a stirring speech in Saudi Arabia on the necessity of defeating Islamic terrorism. Leaders of Muslim-majority nations, including Egypt and Jordan, came to hear him speak on forming an international coalition to fight the spread of terrorism worldwide.
From Riyadh, the president flew to Israel where he expressed his deep friendship with the Jewish state. Israelis, nonetheless, were disappointed when he decided not to move the U.S. Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, at least for now.
Trump reasoned such a move could impede progress in peace talks between Israel and the Palestinian Authority. The president has been told – and may believe – that resolving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict would have a ripple effect throughout the region.
But what does the Bible say about God's plan for the Jewish nation?
The story of Balaam and Balak in Numbers 23-25 is about much more than a talking donkey. It reveals God's eternal and unchangeable plan for Israel.
Balak, the king of Moab, didn't want the Israelites settling next to him. He'd heard what they'd done to the Amorites and it made him "sick with dread." So he got word to Balaam, a diviner with a powerful reputation who lived near the Euphrates River, and invited him to come and curse the Israelites, promising it would be well worth his time.
It didn't work. Balaam couldn't curse the nation God had blessed, though he tried three times. Apparently God had set Israel apart for His own purposes.
How shall I curse whom God has not cursed? And how shall I denounce whom the Lord has not denounced? For from the top of the rocks I see him and from the hills I behold him; There! A people dwelling alone, not reckoning itself among the nations. (Numbers 23:8-9)
And again God spoke through Balaam.
God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said and will He not do? Or has He spoken and will He not make it good?
Behold, I have received a command to bless. He has blessed, and I cannot reverse it.
It's futile to curse His chosen ones, the diviner, summoned by the king, learned.
For there is no sorcery against Jacob, nor any divination against Israel. It now must be said of Jacob and of Israel, 'Oh, what God has done! (Num. 23:23)
Instead, God opened Balaam's eyes to see His plan for Israel.
How lovely are your tents, O Jacob! Your dwellings, O Israel! Blessed is he who blesses you, and cursed is he who curses you. ((Numbers 24:5, 9b)
Then Balaam foretold what will take place in the latter days, mentioning both Israel and Jordan's future in the prophecy.
I see Him, but not now; I behold Him, but not near. A Star shall come out of Jacob, a Scepter shall rise out of Israel and batter the brow of Moab and destroy all the sons of tumult. And Edom shall be a possession; Seir also, his enemies, shall be a possession, while Israel does valiantly. (Num. 24:17-18)
Fast forward to the 21st century.
President Trump's plan may be a good one for now, and God may prosper his efforts. But when the nations stake claim to Jerusalem, to divide the city, God will intervene, as only He can, in what promises to be a divine light show unlike anything the world has seen.
So no matter what it looks like or how it unfolds, God will fulfill his plan for Israel. It's fascinating to watch it play out in the headlines. He turned Balaam's cursing into blessing. May He grant the nations ears to hear, eyes to see and a heart to understand what the Spirit of the Lord is saying today.

Cindy Jacobs: 'It's Time for You to Advance'

CINDY JACOBS  CHARISMA NEWS
This morning as I was praying and thinking about what you're going through, the Lord showed me a vision.
I saw that you are trying to move forward, but you're getting so much push back that it's very difficult for you to get up in the morning and move forward. And this is what the Lord showed me: The enemy is trying to make you feel like you are in a season of regression rather than progression. And you feel like you want to advance, you want to advance the kingdom, you want your life to advance, but you feel like you are taking steps backward.
And the Lord just says to you, "Because you are under such a warfare, you cannot trust your emotions." Because the Lord says, "There are many advances you're actually making as you worship Me, as you're seeking My face." The Lord says you're actually making advances, but you cannot see where you are going because you're under such intense warfare.
Now, I want to say to you right now, the only way I could explain it is: The heavens are violent. As we look at many nations around the world. There's a lot of upheaval. Think about Korea and what's happening in the Koreas. Think about the people within the range of Kim Jong-un. That's many nations. Think about what's happening in the Middle East, with such persecution of believers. And then in the United States, upheaval, upheaval, upheaval.
But the Lord just says, "You are not subject to that upheaval, and I will cause you to go into a season of advancement if you resist the thought Satan is putting in your head that you're actually in regression." The Lord says, "The kingdom of God is ever increasing. So, the only way you can fail is to believe the lie and to be subject to the pressure that Satan is putting you under."
You are not called to be subject to that pressure. You are not called to be one who sits down and says, "Well, I might as well just give up." You are called to overcome. You are called to advance. You are called to be triumphant.
And so the Lord says, "This is the day to rise up. This is not a day to sit down and give in to the violent pushing that the kingdom of darkness is doing and working against you, then you will be defeated." But the Lord says, "If you would choose My nature and My character and My ability, you will surely break through."

Messianic Presence at Hebrew Book Week Angers Ultra-Orthodox - Israel Today

Messianic Presence at Hebrew Book Week Angers Ultra-Orthodox

Sunday, June 18, 2017 |  Israel Today Staff
Israel last week conducted Hebrew Book Week, an annual week-long event celebrating Hebrew literature.
The event is marked with book fairs in cities across the country. And the presence of Messianic book publishers at several of these fairs had ultra-Orthodox Jewish "anti-missionaries" fuming.
In fact, the often-violent anti-missionary group Yad L'achim filed an official police complaint after discovering a booth operated by the "HaGefen" publishing house at the book fair in Rishon Letzion.
HaGefen is a well-known Messianic publisher. Among its offerings at the book fair its series titled "The Testimony," which is a modern translation of the Bible with Israeli youths in mind.
Yad L'achim claimed that the books constituted "incitement and solicitation of minors to convert."
What most bothers groups like Yad L'achim is that these books are not identified as "Christian." They refuse to accept that Messianic Jews are very much an integral part of the Jewish people as a whole and of Israel.
"The innocent buyers do not know that these are missionary books that encourage conversion to Christianity," read the Yad L'achim complaint.
HaGefen issued a response noting that it has been a registered non-profit in Rishon Letzion for no fewer than 42 years. It further pointed out that the "offending" series of books, "The Testimony," consist almost entirely of a literal modern translation of the Bible.
