Israel Need Not Fear Isolation

Israel Need Not Fear Isolation

Tuesday, April 22, 2014 |  Yossi Aloni ISRAEL TODAY
Israel is fearful that a collapse of peace talks with the Palestinians could result in an international boycott and isolation. In fact, even the Americans have been warning of such an outcome.
But, it is important to remember that Israel has no shortage of loyal friends. Some of those friends recently came to Israel under the banner of the “Friends of Israel Initiative” to hold their annual meeting.
The gathering was addressed by Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman and Strategic Affairs Minister Yuval Steinitz.
More impressive, however, was the list of participants, which included former Spanish Prime Minister Jose Maria Aznar (pictured), former Uruguayan President Luis Alberto Lacalle, former Peruvian President Alejandro Toledo, former Italian Foreign Minister Julio Tarazi, former Czech Foreign Minister Karl Schwarzenberg, Nobel laureate and former First Minister of Northern Ireland David Trimble, and the head of British military forces in Afghanistan, Col. Richard Kemp.
The group also met with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon and Speaker of the Knesset Yuli Edelstein, who told the Friends of Israel that he hoped they, as distinguished former heads of state and leading politicians, could help explain the truth about Israel.
The Friends of Israel Initiative was established in 2010 to fight against efforts to delegitimize the Jewish state and to reaffirm Israel’s right to exist in peace and security alongside its neighbors.
The movement actively opposes any attempts to boycott. Aznar, who is the organization’s founder and current chairman, has forged a very friendly relationship with Netanyahu and other Israeli leaders.
In a statement to the Israeli press, Aznar had this to say:
"The [Friends of Israel] Initiative is neither a Public Relations campaign, nor a so-called Jewish lobby. Most of us are not Jewish, but we share the vision - as much one of values as of strategy - that when defending Israel we are defending the West. We are defending our way of life and values, and also our interests.
"Simply put, Europe must defend Israel if we want to preserve the West as we know it. Look at the changes sweeping the region. Uncertainty is the dominant factor. And Israel is both more important to the West today - and more besieged by hostility - than at any time in recent memory.
“Indeed, when considering the full picture of the strategic relationship (including not just diplomacy, but the equally critical realms of security; economy; and science) the close nature of the EU-Israel alliance becomes clear. Not only is Israel’s relationship with the EU and its member states closer than commonly portrayed, but, in the final analysis, it represents a strategic asset to the Union and its members.”

Sharing Love From Sweden - "WORSHIP IS LIKE A PRECIOUS OIL FROM OUR HEARTS" by Eva Haglund

WORSHIP IS LIKE A PRECIOUS OIL
FROM OUR HEARTS

I believe that sometimes people do not understand the importance of worship. There are some who think it is just to save time in a meeting and are never interested to sing outside the church building. There are Christian leaders who do not understand it and some stop worship leaders after five minutes and say that is enough.

There are other leaders who understand some importance of it now, but hopefully will understand more later. People want to do things for Yeshua but sometimes do not understand the importance of the relationship with God. The relationship ought to be first. We need to be home too, and have time to seek God. We worship because that is having a relationship to God. It is giving your heart to Him. This is not a law but it is as between a bride and a bridegoom. As in Song of Solomon, anyone who loves you will want to express your love in words. You can use the song to express your love to Yeshua.

God wants our worship from our hearts. He loves us and He love to hear our voice singing worship to Him. In Song of Solomon 2:14 is written, "Let me hear your voice." He loves to hear us worship Him. We need worship in the church building but God lives in people's hearts. The ones who have received Yeshua are the temple of the Holy Spirit and we can sing in other places and at home. David was singing much outside with the sheep. It is written much about thanksgiving and to sing to God in the Bible.

In Ps.106 is written " Oh, gives thank to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endureth forever."

Sometimes we forget to thank God. It is good to remind each other about it. In Ps.100:4 we can read, "Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him and bless His name."

Worship is important and it is good to give thanks to Yeshua. I think dance to God can be like worshiping Him with your body. In the Bible we can see that David danced to God. Miriam did also. Worship is important and it is good to give thanks to Yeshua. I think dance to God can be like worshiping Him with your body.

David and Miriam understood the importance of dance and did it from the hearts because they wanted to lift up God with dance and song. When we are in difficult circumstances we need worship. Sometimes we can be in very difficult circumstances and then we need to worship. To rejoice in the Lord is our strength. When we worship we become glad. We rejoice in Him.

I have noticed that when you dance to God that you become joyful. Worship and dance to God does not have to be done if we only feeling like it. You can feel sad or discouraged but it is good to worship when you do not feel well also. It is a sacrifice of praise. Instead of complaining, it is good to turn it and gives thanks to God. It is good to read about how much He suffered before the cross and at the cross - to read more of it to get more revelation about how much He suffered for us personally because of His love to us.

Yeshua  faced the hate, rejection and the biggest suffering while nailed at the cross. He showed His love for us. You can worship thinking about that. He knows what suffering is and He suffered so much for me at the cross because He loves me. We can always praise Him for what He has done for us at the cross - His immense suffering for us. We can thank Him for His love for us. We can thank God for that He is good and that His mercy endureth forever.

In Acts. 16:25 we can read, "But at the midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them." In the prison I do not think it was nice. It was a hard place to be in. Their strength then was to worship. When they worshiped I think spiritual things happened.

When you lift up God with worship it is also spiritual war against darkness. We can read in verse Acts 16:26 that things happened as prisoners were released. When we worship it causes things to happens. In meetings the presence of God can come. We can also worship in our homes. It is nice when someone plays guitar for instance, in addition to singing in a home. I think unsaved can get saved by hearing worship.

I have heard about people who have been healed in worship and it is good for your soul to worship. Yeshua is wonderful and worthy our worship!

Worship can be like giving God roses from your heart to Him. It is also like worship when you give your life in His hand. Your life is as symbolic as a rose you keep in your hand and give to Him. One time I danced with a rose to symbolize this.

Worship is like a precious oil from our hearts to Yeshua. The woman at his feet was crushed by His love and wanted to give something from her heart. She gave Him precious oil.

Yeshua loves to hear our voices and love to hear us worshiping Him! He is wonderful and worthy all our praise!

New Keys and a New Season by Doug Addison Identity Network

New Keys and a New Season

by Doug Addison

Identity Network

April is the start of God releasing new keys and strategies for you from Heaven. This is an exciting time as things are going to seem to spring forward and accelerate over the next few months.  Watch for God to use things from the past and update them to be more relevant and effective. The new season is here!
April 15 - 19 will be a significant time this month. I'm not sure why, but it just keeps popping out on the calendar as I was praying and I heard God say this will be a shifting time.
Shifting Gears
It's time to shift into overdrive. Many of us have been operating at a lower gear, which takes more effort. Shifting into higher gears will allow us to accelerate faster, with less effort. This is a time of entering into God's rest where we will accomplish much more for our efforts.
In the past, we may have worked day and night and come up with very little. Now there is a change in the spiritual atmosphere where we will reap more for our effort. Ask God for a strategy and He will give it to you. I got a new strategy just last week and things turned 180° overnight.
Key Angel Dream
I had a dream that I needed to get a key duplicated, but the doors were locked at the key store. I was peering through the store's tiny window and when I broke it I was able to get in.
I was greeted by an Angel who handed me two blank keys. One of them was tarnished and old and the other was rainbow-colored. This angel was the only one who could operate the key machine. As we walked towards it, a rattlesnake was blocking the way to the key machine. I had to grab the rattlesnake by its neck and strangle it.
God is giving keys to us in this new season. He is updating old things and giving us new. The tiny window I looked through represents having too small a vision. We have to break through to something new. The rattlesnake is a demonic attack trying to hold us back from getting the new keys for new connections that God is bringing.
We will have to overcome the things that have overcome us. As we put them to death, the new season will open for us and so will new doors. The blank keys represent God rewriting things for us. One key was tarnished and from the past and the other was rainbow-colored which represents a covenantal promise from God. This is a powerful symbol of God's intentions for us right now as God is assigning new angels right now to you.
Prophetic Dream for Birmingham
I had a dream about Bob Jones' teeth being in Birmingham, Alabama. God is doing something new in Birmingham. Teeth are symbolic of wisdom and Bob represents revelation. There are a lot of new strategies coming to Birmingham.
Dream: Don't Settle for Less
I had a dream where I was tempted to settle for less but was encouraged to press forward to what was needed. This is the time we are in right now. Don't settle for less. It's time to press into God and get the things we need for this new season.
God is bringing dreams and prophetic promises to pass. The new season is here and it is time to trust these things. In the encounter I had with Jesus last August, He told me that after March we will begin to see things change and they will no longer be the way they were. He told me specifically that you can trust the things He is saying to you as a trusted friend.
More than Provision
I keep hearing God say that you can have more than provision. He wants to bless us with more than we can imagine. But we have to take steps to get to it. The prophetic word I had last month was that "forward motion will open new doors." Have you taken any forward motion? That could mean taking any step. Read a book. Go to a seminar. Sign up for a class. Talk to someone. Agree in prayer. Do something. Get a strategy right now.
The Power of a "Spiritual Passover"
Passover is a Jewish festival that reminds us of God's greatness when He gave instructions to the Israelites in Egypt that would cause the spirit of death to "pass over" their houses (Exodus 11-12).
Something significant is going to happen during the time of Passover, which falls on April 14 - 22 this year. God spoke to me a couple of years ago about the prophetic meaning behind Passover. We must allow things to "Passover" us during times of uncertainty.
The spiritual aspect of "Passover" is still available to us today. When uncertain times come in any form - whether economic, spiritual, environmental or whatever - God most often lets His people know how to avoid it or at least how to suffer minimal damage. In some cases, God even shows His people how to profit during a downturn (Genesis 41). The key is to listen to God's voice as He speaks to us and to follow the instructions He gives.
God gave the Israelites a strategy for the spirit of death to "pass over" their houses. It is interesting to note that this was not just a "blanket blessing" for everyone. They had to listen to God and take action steps. This is the same today. We must hear the voice of God and take appropriate steps. During the time of Passover, God will be giving us new strategies. Listen, take notes and when appropriate, take action. This year during Passover there is a new release coming from Heaven that will allow the plans from the enemy to "pass over" you - while God pours out new life and strategies from Heaven.

Choices & Decisions We Make - Now Think On This by Steve Martin

Choices & Decisions We Make
Now Think On This
Steve Martin

"If it is disagreeable in your sight to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves today whom you will serve: whether the gods which your fathers served which were beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living; but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord."  Joshua 24:15 NASU

Choices. We face them every day and must decide on which one. Go here, go there. Wear this or wear that. Say something or hold back. What decision will you make, given the choice you have?

You may remember words you have heard over the years, given by someone you trust, as a leader, and at the time you heard it, something clicked inside your brain, and your spirit. You then perked up and listened attentively to it. It was a word they spoke that seemed to stick with you for the rest of your life.

For me once such word was spoken at a church gathering in East Lansing, MI back around 1986. The founder of the church, Erik Krueger of Shiloh Fellowship (later changing its name to New Covenant Christian Church) was sharing at a Friday night gathering. A young man in his mid 30’s I believe at the time, Erik wanted to instruct us about an upcoming locational move the church was considering. I was at least 30, so that made him wiser than me. And so I listened.

At one point I distinctly heard him start to say something that I will always remember, as I know it got down into my spirit. He said something like this, “You will make choices today that will make a big difference as to where you end up later years down the road. Even a slight turn, or what seems to be a miniscule veer you take in the road today, will cause you to end up either one way or the other, for good or bad, way off down the road. Because of that decision you make, it will determine your destination years from now. So carefully make the right decisions.”

Making decisions shouldn’t be left up to what seems good at the time; what the general population is doing (I learned long ago that if the general public is going one way I am best off going the other. My life isn’t determined by the popular vote of the people); or how I can best determine my financial future if I leave this job and take another. It shouldn’t be based on my lone understanding, but on hearing the guidance of the Holy Spirit, listening to His quiet voice, and determining in my heart that His way is the best way.

Receiving the counsel of those who have taken similar paths, who themselves had chosen in their lives to hear and obey His Spirit, is wise also. Grounded on His Word and having the heart of Joshua to choose His ways before all else will lead us on. Determined to have this form of guidance is best done even before a decision is to be made.

Several times over the course of our 37 years of married life, my wife and I made decisions that caused us to make geographical moves. The Lord normally spoke to me first, as head of the household, on what usually would come a year later. Heeding His voice, in those times of prayer and Bible reading, while listening to the words spoken at church gatherings, helped us to hear Him speak, and further choose to walk in faith in His way. He would give confirming signs as we looked and listened, and trusted in His guiding hand.

So first from Illinois to Michigan, and then seven years later from the far north of the USA to the far south, Michigan to Florida, we followed. Looking back, thanks to the leading of the Holy Spirit, these were the right decisions. And then seven years later another decision was made, to move from Florida to North Carolina. Looking back 20 years later, it was another good decision. Trusting in His provision and blessing upon our family, as we served Him and His purposes, we experienced His faithfulness.

Recently I read another’s word on following after the Lord. I take it to heart, as seeking the Lord and knowing His will is my utmost desire. What other path is there to take, that will prove for eternity that His way is the best way? I know of no other. Faith we must have. Faith we must use. And keeping our eyes on Jesus will show us the way.

“There are many Biblical instances where choices were made to follow a God-given road less traveled; these righteous choices continue making all the difference for the good in the outcome of the destinies of many.

Saul of Tarsus, later named Paul, a Jew among Jews, was presented the choice of leaving his familiar environment of Judaism to minister in the unfamiliar world of Gentiles.

The Apostle Peter, an unlearned and uneducated fisherman, was called and sent down the road of unfamiliarity as an Apostle to the Jews.

Must I detail the unfathomable Godly difference in the kingdom of God today as a result of these two Apostles righteous choices to go the way of unfamiliarity?

Dangers along a Road of Familiarity: Familiarity Breeds Contempt

A known road is one in which travelers might very well grow to depend on familiar and past road signs instead of accepting the challenge of the need to be alert to new road signs. Does familiarity breed contempt? Contempt argues that "my" familiar way is the only way to successfully travel. Unfortunately this contempt for the signs given by an ever-present God in order to lead us down the less traveled road is rampant in the present day church. This contempt is called "religion".

God is much better served, not by our familiarity or experience from a well-traveled road, but from our familiarity with Him. God is able to guide us down the less traveled road!

The road chosen by God for us is one which Robert Frost says in his poem, “The Road Not Taken” (see below), is grassy and desires wear. Unfamiliar roads desire to be trodden down with steps of those willing to walk this way. I believe that only those who are willing to follow God down an unfamiliar path will as Frost said, "Make all the difference."

Possible Characteristics of a Present Day Road Less Traveled

The unfamiliar road chosen by God for us needless to say could have an infinite number of characteristics. I am seeing that one of the unfamiliar characteristics of a road less worn could be in the area of a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of God. God is truth and desires truth in our inward parts.

I believe that the hand-me-down traditions which have for two thousand years nullified the truth and liberty desired for the church is being now challenged as never before. This path or road of revelation is a road less traveled and is now challenging the very heart of thought to be established doctrines; doctrines which for the most part aren't producing a true witness to the works given to us by our Father God. This present life changing unfamiliar revelation is nothing new but rather a rediscovery of the profound simplicity of the word of God. Rejoice and prepare to be shaken to the core. God recently told me to tell the body of Christ that there is presently a post script written on the heart of every believer. PS is an acronym for profoundly simple.

Also just as Joshua and the Apostle Paul were called geographically down an unfamiliar road less traveled so will many of us hear the voice of God calling us to other locations with which we are totally unfamiliar.

May this poem and article challenge our heart unto consistent reexamination to see if we be on the faith road of unfamiliarity?

To those of us with a pioneering spirit this word is a glorious boost on to a road which will make "all the difference" to the world.” Gale Maiden, Fathers Heart Ministry, Moravian Falls, NC

Making a difference in this world, for which we have been placed in, will take faith, courage, and the willingness to seek God, trust in His leading, and do what He calls us to do. I know of no other reason to live life, except the one He has chosen.

By His grace and mercy working in and through you and I, we can and will accomplish His perfect plan in our lives, and effect the nations with the outcome.

Now think on this,

The Road Not Taken
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, sorry I could not
travel both and be one traveler, long I stood
and looked down one as far as I could
to where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
and having perhaps the better claim
because it was grassy and wanted wear,
Though as for that the passing there
had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
in leaves no step had trodden black.

Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I,
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

- Robert Frost
