This Year’s Top Five Natural Biblical Phenomena - Number Two Will Scare You!

“Thine are the heavens, Thine also the earth; the world and the fulness thereof, Thou hast founded them.” Psalms 89:12 (The Israel Bible™)
With the incredible return of fish to the shores of the ancient Dead Sea, more attention than ever is turning to the revealing of God’s miracles, presence and prophecies all over the globe. This year, which the Nascent Sanhedrin has declared a Jubilee year, has seen amazing evidence of the Bible coming to life.
Breaking Israel News took a look back at the top five Biblical phenomenon stories of the year proving that in these modern times, God is more visible than ever before to those who are willing to see Him.

1. Life Discovered on the Shores of the Dead Sea as Prophesized in Ezekiel 47:9

Breaking Israel News broke this earth-shaking story about the fulfillment of Ezekiel 47:8-9, in which the prophet foresaw the returning of live fish and healing waters to the Dead Sea, an ultra-saline, inhospitable environment where no life can survive. Incredibly, a young woman from Jerusalem stumbled upon fresh-water ponds filled with fish along the shores of the Dead Sea and quickly saw their significance. Her video documenting the phenomenon has received over 12,000 views.

In May, unusual seismic and geological activity in America’s massive Yellowstone National Park raised concerns that the dormant volcano could be due for an enormous eruption, which would have devastating effects on the region. Kabbalist Rabbi Yitzchak Batzri explained that the rash of earthquakes throughout the globe and the increase of volcanic activity at Yellowstone and other locations fit exactly with Zechariah’s prediction for the End of Days, which states that two-thirds of the world will be destroyed by fire.

3. Nile River “Turns” Blood-Red in Biblical Nature Phenomenon

An incredible satellite image, released by the European Space Agency in April, amazed the world with a Biblical tableaux of the Nile River seemingly turned to blood. The photo showed the Egyptian Nile rendered in bright red, evoking the first plague that the Lord sent to the Egyptian pharaoh for refusing to free the Israelite slaves. The timing was considered extremely significant, as the photo was released only a week before the holiday of Passover, when Jews celebrate the Israelite exodus from Egypt and slavery.

Quick on the heels of the blood-red Nile story, another scene from the Bible came to life when a video from Afghanistan revealed the incredible mixing of fire and water in one mysterious geological phenomenon. The video showed water and fire pouring out together from the same opening in the earth in a display eerily similar to the fire and ice described in Exodus 9:24.

5. Global Wave of Earthquakes a Prelude to Redemption?

Seven major earthquakes hit both coasts of the Pacific and a number of smaller quakes struck around the world over a 96-hour period in April, leading seismologists to warn that the Earth may be in for some shaky days in the future. Rabbis and scientists alike predicted that Israel is overdue and could soon feel a major earthquake “at any time”; experts pointed to the End of Days prophecy in Psalms 104:32 which foretold tremblings of the earth before the final redemption.

Experts Say the Final Blood Moon Will Mark Major “Turning Point in History” [VIDEO] - Occurs Sept. 27, 2015

Experts Say the Final Blood Moon Will Mark Major “Turning Point in History” [VIDEO]

“The sun shall turn to darkness, and the moon to blood, prior to the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord.” (Joel 3:4)
Blood Moon experts are predicting major “turning points in history” when on September 28th, the fourth and final blood moon in the current tetrad series will take place during the commencement of the Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles) holiday.
This will be the fourth time in two years that a blood moon will occur on the Jewish holiday of either Tabernacles or Passover. The significance of the event has many Jews and Christians looking to the skies and gearing up for a major event that will affect the course of both Jewish and world history.
In the past millennia, only four documented tetrads have occurred on or around the Jewish holidays of Passover and Sukkot, and each one was followed by a major event that shifted Jewish and global history. Those tetrads occurred in the years 1428-1429, 1493-1494, 1949-1950, 1967-1968, and now, in 2014-2015.
Bob O’Dell and Gidon Ariel, founders of Root Source, an educational program in which Orthodox Israeli Jews teach Christians about the Bible and Judaism from a Jewish perspective, spoke to Breaking Israel News about the significance of this event.
Both O’Dell and Ariel believe that the importance of heavenly signs should not be ignored, and that some change is to be expected in the coming year, which just so happens to be a Jubilee year.
“We are not at all predicting the end of the world or the arrival of the Messiah in September,” said O’Dell. However, “If you look at all the blood moons that have occurred in history, you see that every time they arrive, they mark turning points in history – major new trends involving the Jewish people.” O’Dell added the disclaimer that these trends often take many years to play out.
What does Shmittah, Blood Moons and the coming Jubilee have in common? Find out now!
For instance, the tetrad in 1428-1429 marked the end of a big wave of forced conversions for the Jews in Spain, and the tetrad in 1493-1494 signaled the end of the Spanish inquisition, which concluded with the expulsion of the Jews from Spain in 1492.
“We can now look back and see that the nation of Spain was peaking in power, while God was preparing a new home for the Jews with the founding of America through Christopher Columbus,” O’Dell said.
He added that the heavenly signs also served to remind Jews of the connection between God and the Jewish people and their birthright of the land of Israel. “The blood moons occurring on those Jewish feast days were a witness that God had not forgotten His promise to return the Jews to their homeland,” said O’Dell.
In modern times, blood moons and tetrads have also pointed to significant dates. “With the blood moons of 1949-1950, 1967-1968 and 2014-2015, when we take them all together they are marking the three phases of the rebirth of the nation of Israel,” explained O’Dell.
According to O’Dell, the dates mark the creation of Israel as a nation in 1948, the unification of Jerusalem in 1967, “and as for 2015,” he said, “we will need to wait and see. But our guess is that it has to do with Israel being now able to stand upon its own without help from the United States. We also see the coming together of Christians and Jews in love and support of each other as a new spiritual trend as well.”
Gidon Ariel, the Israeli co-founder of Root Source, provided a historical perspective on the lunar occurrences. “I think that Jews paid more attention to the skies in previous eras. In Ethics of the Fathers 3:18, Rabbi Eliezer ben Hisma states that tekufot, seasons, referring to all astronomical sciences, are parparaot lachochma, side dishes of wisdom. Maimonides also went to great lengths to document lunar tables and the like,” he said.

BLOOD MOONS: What is God Telling Us?

Ariel pointed out that this trend has been largely neglected by modern Jews. “Today, some astronomy buffs might pick up on [the blood moons], but it is still pretty esoteric for the mainstream,” he told Breaking Israel News, adding, “That being said, I would mention there are more and more individuals and organizations dedicated to charting lunar data, some of them in preparation for renewing the Jewish lunar calendar based on r’eeyah, sighting, as part of the return to Temple service.”
O’Dell and Ariel have co-authored a book entitled “Israel FIRST!”, in which they highlight the importance of blood moons and other fascinating Biblical phenomenons. They hope to give the topic more appeal for both modern Jews and Christians in order to raise awareness and interest in the subject.
“For those who follow end-times prophecies, the blood moons are fascinating,” said O’Dell, explaining, “Heavenly signs are mentioned in some of the end-times Bible passages and moons specifically.”
O’Dell pointed out that the current blood moon is different from previous ones in that it will be visible in both Israel as well as in North America. “The four eclipses in 1949-1950 were all visible from Israel. The four in 1967-1968 and the four in 2014-2015 are all visible from the USA – an extremely rare occurrence. But this very last blood moon in September is visible from both Israel and the USA simultaneously. It is something to ponder,” he said.

200-Year-Old “Messiah Clock” Sets Last Possible Date for Final Redemption

200-Year-Old “Messiah Clock” Sets Last Possible Date for Final Redemption - and the Timing Will Surprise You!

“For one thousand years in Your [God’s] eyes are but a day that has passed.” (Psalms 90:4)
For the Jewish nation, thousands of years have been spent in counting down to a time period that will ultimately usher in the final redemption. A special clock, known as the Messiah clock, has been counting down the final arrival of the Messiah for the last 200 years, giving hope and inspiration to generations of Jews during turbulent times.
The creator of the Messiah clock was none other than Rabbi Eliyahu of Vilna, also known as the Vilna Gaon, an 18th century Judaic scholar who was considered to be the guiding light of his generation, and is revered to this day. The Vilna Gaon spent much of his life studying Jewish concepts about the Messiah and yearned to move to Israel to hasten the process of redemption.
Well versed in mathematics and astronomy, the Vilna Gaon used his secular and religious scholarly background to come up with a unique method of tracking time based on the Hebrew calendar and a combination of Jewish sources found in the Talmud (Sanhedrin 97a). Based on his specific calculations, the Messiah clock was created and has been slowly ticking down towards his ultimate arrival.
The clock is based on the six days of creation, with each day corresponding to 1,000 years on the Hebrew calendar. The Vilna Gaon centered his calculations around the Jewish tradition that the Messiah must arrive by the year 6000 in the Jewish calendar, which corresponds to the day before the Sabbath and God’s refrain from any work. Currently, the Jewish calendar year is 5775.
Comparing days from the story of creation to millennial periods of time is consistent with the Bible, which often has different measures of time correspond to one another. A cycle based on seven is used frequently in the Bible, such as in the concept of the Sabbatical year (Leviticus 25:3), the seven year agricultural cycle, and its extension, the Jubilee year (Leviticus 25:10), that occurs at the end of seven Sabbatical cycles. A Hebrew slave is also released after seven years of servitude (Exodus 21:2).
Are there hidden messages from God in the Bible?
The verse found at the end of each day in the story of the creation of the world in Genesis, “And there was evening and there was morning”, is the basis for the Jewish custom of beginning each day at sunset. The first day of the new week begins at sundown at the end of the Sabbath, the second day begins the following sunset, and so on.
Further, according to Jewish law, each day is divided into two equal halves – night and daylight. Each half is then divided into 12 equal sections, with each section being one hour. From sunset to sunset, 24 hours of the day are divided up.
Applying the Jewish concept of time with the understanding gleaned by the Vilna Gaon towards redemption, one full day is 1,000 years. Therefore, one 12 hour night period equals 500 years and one 12 hour daylight period equals 500 years. If we further divide 1,000 by 24 hours, then each hour on the Messiah clock equals 41 years and eight months, or exactly 500 months.
In calculating minutes, 500 months (one hour on the ‘creation clock’) is divided by sixty minutes. According to the Vilna Gaon’s clock, each minute is equal to 8.333 months, or eight months and ten days. For those who appreciate a challenge, one second on the ‘creation clock’ is a little over four days.
Based on the days of creation, Friday, the sixth day of the week, comes after five full days, or 5,000 years on the clock. Friday night is half of one day on the Jewish calendar, so according to Vilna Gaon’s calculations, one night equals five hundred years.
Friday morning at sunrise would be the year 5500 according to the Hebrew calendar or 1739 according to the Gregorian calendar. Based on this model, noon on the sixth day of the clock is 5750 in the Hebrew calendar, or 1990 according to the Gregorian calendar, marking three-quarters of the sixth day. That leaves six hours from Friday afternoon until sunset, when the Sabbath begins.

messiah clock chart
If we use the Messiah clock to figure out “what time it is now”, the beginning of current Hebrew calendar year was exactly 12:36 pm. 12:37pm began on the 10th of Iyyar, 5775, or the April 29,2015.
The Zohar states that just as Friday afternoon is entirely given over to preparations for the Sabbath, thus the time leading up to the 7000th year will be for preparing for the Messiah.
By applying certain calculations based on Jewish law and tradition, the Vilna Gaon’s 7000 year clock can be used to make assertions about the process of redemption. Currently, based on the time of the Messiah clock, the year 6000 will occur in 2239 of the Gregorian calendar, indicating that the Messiah must arrive before then.
It should be noted that a basic tenet of Jewish faith, based on the teachings of Maimonides, is that the Messiah can arrive at any moment. For Jews, the Messiah’s coming is always imminent. The Vilna Gaon’s calculations represent the last possible time the Messiah can arrive and, as we pray each day, he comes well before.
