News of witches attacking President Donald Trump went viral, but there's another type of witchcraft attack that all believers need to know about in this season.

The Jezebel spirit's witchcraft is rising—and always rises—during this time of the year.

Let me clarify, I am not talking about incantations and spells from witches and warlocks. I'm talking about spiritual witchcraft as in 2 Kings 9:22. Some translations say, "Jezebel and her sorceries."

The word for witchcraft in 2 Kings 9:22 comes from the Hebrew "kesheph." It means sorcery and witchcraft. Merriam-Webster defines witchcraft as "the use of sorcery or magic, communication with a familiar." Sorcery is defined as "the use of magical powers that are obtained through evil spirits." The Queen Jezebel in the Old Testament was influenced by the spirit we call Jezebel today. She was practicing witchcraft—sorcery—against her enemies.

Jezebel Worship Off the Charts

Now, during Lent, some people have a tendency to exalt Mary, the mother of Jesus. But we know that's not God's will. God has "highly exalted [Jesus] and gave Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of the Father" (Phil 2:9-11).

I am not Catholic-bashing here. This is not about a religion or a denomination. It's about spiritual practices in which some are engaging.

Where Mary is exalted, it empowers the spirit of Jezebel and her witchcrafts. Some people in some religions refer to Mary as the queen of heaven. But Ashtoreth, the chief pagan goddess of war and sex mentioned in the Old Testament, is also known as the queen of heaven. And it's the Ashtoreth spirit that's behind Jezebel. The Lord speaks of the queen of heaven in Jeremiah 7, noting that the people of Judah were giving offerings to other gods and provoking Him to anger. The Old Testament Jezebel's father, Ethbal, was the high priest of the goddess.

Again, exalting Mary seems to empower the queen of heaven, also known as Jezebel. Lifting Mary up to a place where only Jesus belongs unleashes demonic activity in that territory. As demonic activity increases, people report feelings of oppression, fatigue, strong spiritual warfare against the mind that makes you feel like quitting, and even physical manifestations for which doctors can't find a reason. Are you experiencing any of these things?

Passivity Won't Deliver You From Jezebel's Witchcraft

Always remember, we aren't wrestling against flesh and blood, yet we do need to put on our whole armor and engage in the battle. Passivity isn't going to deliver you from Jezebel's witchcraft.

"For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds, casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is complete" (2 Cor. 10:3-6).

When it comes to witchcraft, we have to withstand it. The Bible says to "be firm in faith [against his onset—rooted, established, strong, immovable, and determined]" (1 Pet. 5:9a, AMPC). It's easy enough to give in to witchcraft, especially if you don't know what is attacking you. So again, when you feel like giving up, when you feel tired for no reason, when you have strong confusion, when you are fighting an intense battle in your mind and when infirmities are manifesting, it could be witchcraft. Resist it at its onset. Cast it off. Submit yourself to God. "Resist the devil [stand firm against him], and he will flee from you" (James 4:7).

Again, submit yourself to the lordship of Christ. Exalt His name. Thank Him for His blood. Rejoice in the Lord. Praise and worship carry breakthrough. That's often all it takes to change the spiritual climate in your home. And worship is where we should start because He is worthy of our adoration.

If worship doesn't break the witchcraft, take authority over it in the name above all names. Witchcraft has to bow at the name of Jesus. But make sure you don't have any common ground with the enemy. Repent for any rebellion in your heart, and surrender your will anew to God. Remember, we are more than conquerors in Christ, and no weapon formed against us can prosper—not even witchcraft. Our job is to be spiritually discerning enough to catch the devil at his onset, resist him, rebuke him and praise God for the victory. Amen.

In Dallas, Texas Thursday night, a hate-filled gunman ruthlessly started gunning down police officers. A total of 12 officers were shot, and five of them are now dead. If we do not learn to love one another, there is no hope for us as a nation. Unfortunately, the love of most people has grown cold, and today messages of hate and division from people on all sides of the debate are being posted all over social media.  The massacre in Dallas represented the deadliest day for law enforcement officers in the United States since 9/11, and this is the kind of civil unrest that I have been repeatedly warning is coming to America. I have warned about this in my books, on radio and on television. But of course I am best known for my articles, and the following are just a handful where I warned about what we would soon see… –A Spirit Of Violence And Civil Unrest Is Rising In America –Trump Rallies Reveal Increased Tensions Among Americans As This Nation Plunges Toward Civil Unrest –Civil Unrest Has Begun In Baltimore And This Is Only Just The Start Of Something MUCH Bigger –Prepare Your Homes And Neighborhoods For The Violence That Is Going To Sweep America Earlier this week, I warned that “the thin veneer of civilization that we all take for granted is evaporating“, but this is one instance when I am definitely not happy to have been proven right. Shooter Micah X. Johnson was a 25-year-old former Army reservist with no criminal history. He was deployed to Afghanistan from November 2013 to July 2014, and what he experienced over there may have deeply scarred him mentally and emotionally. According to the police, the motivation for the shooting was because he “wanted to kill white people, especially white officers”… Johnson, from Mesquite, Texas, a 20 minute drive from Dallas, reportedly told law enforcement that he was a veteran, and claimed to have acted alone, countering initial reports that as many as four gunmen were involved in the massacre. ‘The suspect said he was upset about Black Lives Matter. He said he was upset about the recent police shootings of black suspects. He said he was upset at white people. The suspect stated he wanted to kill white people, especially white officers,’ Dallas Police Chief David Brown revealed at a 7:30am press conference. Around 11pm on Thursday, cops cornered Johnson at El Centro College and attempted to negotiate, but four hours later the talks failed and a robot was brought in to detonate a bomb and kill the suspect. This was after shots had rung out at a previously peaceful protest in downtown Dallas with demonstrators screaming and running for their lives as cops dropped dead one by one. What is truly frightening is that it looks like he was potentially planning even more violence in the future. When police searched his home, they found bomb-making materials, rifles, ammunition, and a personal journal of combat tactics. This attack in Dallas comes on the heels of two separate incidents in which young black men were gunned down by white police officers. The following comes from TruNews… The Dallas shooting happened as otherwise largely peaceful protests unfolded around the United States after the police shooting of Philando Castile, a 32-year-old black man, on Wednesday during a traffic stop near St. Paul, Minnesota. The day earlier, police in Baton Rouge shot dead another black man, Alton Sterling, 37, while responding to a call alleging he had threatened someone with a gun. Racial tensions have soared to frightening levels in this country, and what is needed right now are calls for love and healing. But instead, many continue to stoke the flames of hatred and division. Here is just one example… In an interview with BBC Radio 4 in London, Rev Jackson commented on the shooting of unarmed black men by police and the revenge attack in Dallas: ‘It’s a kind of anti-black mood, antisemitism, anti-Muslim bashing, immigrant bashing, female bashing, a kind of mean spirited division in the country.’ Rev Jackson considered what was causing the divisive mood in America. He said: ‘Threats to deport 15 million immigrants…threats to build a wall between Mexico who we share 2,000 miles of a border, there’s a permissiveness towards black people [which] is readily apparent and we have been used as scape goats for deeper and deeper economic and cultural fears.’ And as I mentioned above, social media websites such as Facebook and Twitter are being absolutely flooded with hate-filled messages toward police officers, white people, black people and those that would seek to bring Americans together in peace and love. It is a very disgusting thing to see, but this is where we are at as a nation. Sadly, what just happened in Dallas is not just an isolated incident. In fact, there was another very similar incident which just took place in Tennessee… Authorities in Tennessee say a man who opened fire on a highway in Tennessee targeted police officers and others because he was troubled by incidents involving black people and law enforcement officers. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation says in a news release that initial conversations with the suspect, identified as Lakeem Keon Scott revealed he was troubled by incidents across the U.S. The FBI says the suspect is black; the shooting victims are all white. And overall, we have seen a 44 percent increase in the number of law enforcement officers shot and killed so far in 2015… The number of police officers shot and killed in the USA is 44% higher than at this time last year following the Dallas ambush Thursday night that left five officers dead, according to data from the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund. From now on, it is going to take a lot of courage to be a police officer in America. Personally, I couldn’t imagine going to work every day knowing that you are a potential target wherever you go. As I discussed the other day, all the way from the top down the United States has become a lawless nation. We have already seen explosions of anger and frustration all over the country, and the chaos and the violence are going to get a lot worse. We are going to see more crime, more riots, more looting and more shootings. Ultimately, we are going to see major cities in America burn, and there will be declarations of martial law in an attempt to restore order. I have been warning that these things are coming for a long time, and now they are starting to happen right in front of our eyes. So is there any hope for us?

Time for Action: A Warning to Christians about the Cost of Silence

Presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, says his dad, Rafael, is his hero and is the one who taught him early in life that the concept of limited government comes straight from the Bible.

Now, his father, a Cuban immigrant, has a message for America.

Rafael Cruz was born in Cuba in 1939. As a teenager, Cruz faced prison and torture fighting against the brutal Batista dictatorship. After his release from prison, he convinced the government to allow him to leave Cuba for America on a college scholarship. He left with only $100 sewn into his underwear by his mother.

Once in America, Cruz worked hard, started a family, and most importantly, gave his life to Christ. As a church pastor, Cruz became involved with the Religious Roundtable organization, mobilizing Christians to elect Ronald Reagan.

Young Ted took it all in, and like his father before him, chose a career path that would fuse faith and politics.

Nearly 60 years after coming to America, the elder Cruz has a message for his adopted homeland. He writes about it in a new book entitled, A Time for Action.

America was founded on Judeo-Christian principles, by moral leaders, Cruz says, many of whom were strong Christians themselves. The first settlers were committed Christians seeking refuge from religious persecution abroad.

Cruz says that in the last 100 years, America has been on a slippery slope, moving away from its founding principles and, in large part with little resistance from the Church.

In A Time for Action, Rafael Cruz presents a simple underlying message: For Christians, Jesus Christ should be the foundation of the lives they build and they should be active in making a difference in the world around them.

In practical terms, that means we should strive for a free society that respects each of God's children; we should embrace the Judeo-Christian values of love, joy, and peace; and we should seek a relationship with the living God.

It means people of faith should actively participate in the political process to combat the debilitating and deceptive progressive mantra that there should be a separation of church and state.

A Time for Action is the story of one man's quest for refuge from Cuban persecution to realizing the American dream. It is a story about one man finding true freedom that comes from faith in Jesus Christ. It is the story of this great nation that was founded on Judeo-Christian principles and why it has fallen from grace.

It is also a wake-up call to the faithful across the land to step up to the challenge of entering the public arena and taking on the forces at work to destroy the guiding principles that made this country great. Religious people must saddle up. They must vote and volunteer and campaign. They must get in the political game.

The followers of Christ are, in His words, "the light of the world." But for a light to have its effect, it has to shine in the darkness.

That's why our mission is "to declare," as St. Paul said, "the whole counsel of God." If we continue to remain silent, we will answer to God for our silence.

'NYT' Best-Selling Author Mark Levin Has Strong Warning for America

Mark Levin has done it again. The popular radio show host has hit No. 1 on the New York Times best-selling list with his new book, Plunder and Deceit.

CBN's David Brody recently spoke with Levin for a closer look at his latest message to the masses.

Levin's Warning to America

On the radio, Levin pulls no punches with his millions of listeners. And as an author, he's fighting mad too.

In Plunder and Deceit, he issues a strong, clear warning for America, taking direct aim at what he sees at the threat posed by a growing, powerful federal government.

"It's transitioning into something more oppressive, more coercive and it's transitioning into something that is not constitutional," Levin said.

Levin said it's the next generation that will be in the crosshairs. That's the focus of the book: a clinical factual dissection of how liberal federal government policies—be they social, environmental or economic —are ruining the future.

"Future generations don't vote. They don't exist yet so they keep stealing from them," he charged. "They keep robbing from them, which means they are going to have limited liberty; they're going to have limited opportunity, limited wealth creation and we're spending it all today."

"This is something really unbelievable, that we are stealing from unborn babies, Lord knows how far into the future, their future," he said.

Social Security Crisis

Just one of Levin's examples of the dangers America and the next generation face: Social Security.

The long-time entitlement program needs structural changes to survive, and while solutions to change it have been around for years, nothing is being done.

Not only that—Levin also lays out the case that Social Security is already technically bankrupt.

"I don't even think people who receive these benefits know what's going on," Levin said. "Many of them don't know that the money doesn't exist."

"All that money that they paid into the system, there is no system," he continued. "That money was taken and spent the second it was taken on other government projects, on other government programs."

Call to Action

So where does this leave the next generation? What can be done?

"How do you get younger Americans, the next generation involved in these issues and to take notice of what's going on in this country?" Brody asked Levin.

"One at a time," he replied. "There are millions and millions of parents and grandparents who know exactly what I'm talking about and they're worried about what's going on in this country."

"They know like I know intuitively and through intellect that the country is headed in a very bad place and it's moving there very, very quickly," he warned.

Levin sees Plunder and Deceit as a pamphlet to equip communities with facts they will hopefully share with others in a variety of settings.

"In the home, during the holidays, at the dinner table, at the breakfast table, when you are putting your kids to bed—those are the circumstances," he said. "We as parents and grandparents have more influence on our children and grandchildren than we can possibly know."

Levin believes change won't come from Washington. Just like in Revolutionary War days, change comes from "we the people" because he believes ideas stir up action—and lead to consequences.

"I think tens of millions of us are extremely concerned about where this country is going," Levin told CBN News. "Maybe we are in the majority; maybe we're not—I don't know—but there are tens of millions of us and that's a big army of people."

"If thousands of us —not even millions of us, let alone tens of millions of us—really take this seriously, you don't know where we can go with this because in this great country there are many great people who will do many great things," he said.

Jordan’s King Abdullah II — denounced as “an ally of the crusaders” by ISIS terrorists in the video — was in Washington meeting with leaders many of whom attended the National Prayer Breakfast, where the President made his comments condemning ISIS followed by comments connecting American Christians and the CRUSADES!

Joel's current research involves two former CIA directors, one a Democrat and the other a Republican. Jim Woolsey, served with President Clinton, and Porter Goss was the CIA director under George W. Bush.

WHAT WORRIES THE C.I.A.?
Asking them, “What keeps you up at night? I’m writing a new series, I need a new enemy. I want to write about something that’s say, four or five years out, but something that’s emerging that you think people should know about.”

They both said, “You’ve got to watch Al-Qaeda in Iraq. They’re morphing into something different. It looks more dangerous to us, and we think they’re going to be a huge problem, in Syria and Iraq.”

They were predicting ISIS and they were not alone. Two Defense Secretaries saw the threat also and told the White House.

OBAMA THOUGHT HE KNEW MORE THAN TWO DEFENSE SECRETARIES
Former Defense Secretaries, Bob Gates and Leon Panetta both warned the President NOT TO WITHDRAW all U.S. forces from Iraq – that Iraq’s government was not ready for this and that radical Islam would storm into the vacuum created by American withdrawal.

This historic blunder has received a free pass from the media.

Why this mental fog over the Oval Office?

AMERICANS SEE A SERIOUS ATTACK COMING
The extent to which the White House labors under a spell in regard to Islamic extremism is alarming. The disconnection between the Oval Office and America over this subject cuts across party lines. The entire country knows something dangerous is occurring. A recent McLaughlin poll indicates:

• 74 percent of Americans fear ISIS is going to launch a catastrophic terror attack in the U.S.
• 73 percent believe ISIS would perform genocidal acts against Israel if given the chance.
• 65 percent of Americans fear that ISIS will try to overthrow the King of Jordan – an important moderate ally – and then form a base inside Jordan they will launch attacks against Israel and the United States.

Most Americans care little about Jordan, yet they see the situation more clearly than Washington.

Rosenberg went to Israel and interviewed the former head of Israeli security, Mossad, and asked the same questions. He gave the SAME answer.

He then went to Jordan and gathered feedback from the Prime Minister, the Foreign Minister, the Interior Minister and a Prince who is a senor advisor to the King. While talking to the Interior Minister he was asked, “Is this going to be like a Tom Clancy novel?” Joel said, “Well I hope so.” The Minister replied, “Good. Sit down and get your notebook out. Lets go on record. I want to give you this information because the King has appointed me to make sure your scenario never happens, at least not in our country.”

WHAT KEEPS JOEL UP AT NIGHT?
Ask Joel Rosenberg what keeps him up at night? He answers, “I thought ISIS was a threat we would face in four or five years, it’s coming up much faster than I anticipated.”

This is exactly what he said before 9-11.

With you on your watch praying for these 3 leaders we will see the plans of the enemy thwarted.
1.) Pray for King Adullah and unity in Jordan.
2.) Pray for Netanyahu’s election in March (the White House wants him out).
3.) Pray that something happens to cause Iran to shift with regard to its nuclear agenda and President Obama will have and heed wise counsel from John Kerry.
4.) Pray for a revived prayer movement and clear headed American leaders to emerge.

The Elijah List

In a vision I saw a small sailboat on the glistening, moonlit water at night; it was just ready to leave shore. Just as everyone was boarding, a woman ran back to take care of her unfinished business. The people cried out to her with a warning: "The boat is leaving now!" She continued on her way while the boat drifted away from shore.

Suddenly she turned around and frantically ran toward the water, but it was too late. She missed the boat. The passengers had no oars and couldn't return to shore to get her. She watched hopelessly from the shore as they drifted away into the moonlight.

Then I heard the Lord say, "Ready or not, here I come! Those who diligently seek the Lord will board this boat guided by the wind of the Holy Spirit!"

Faith is lifting our sails in this day as the Holy Spirit of Truth is leading us. No longer can we follow after agendas, patterns, and formulas; we must be totally reliant on the Holy Spirit to guide us.

I believe this woman represents Christians that truly love the Lord, yet they remain carnally minded. They continue using their natural senses instead of becoming spiritually minded. Therefore they still desire to feed their flesh, and when the Lord calls, their desire will always be to take care of the natural business first instead of doing the will of the Father.

Testing Of The Heart

There's a testing of our hearts taking place right now, and the outcome will be according to our decision. God will not violate our free will and we must live with the consequence of the choice we make. Will we follow after Him or continue on our own path according to our fleshly desires?

When Elijah found Elisha and threw his mantle on him, Elisha's first response was to run back and kiss his parents goodbye, then he would follow Elijah (see 1 Kings 19:20). Elisha was functioning in the carnal realm, or natural senses. And being a good son, his first response would be to honor his parents and tell them he was departing to follow after and be trained by this powerful man of God. Elisha, like the woman that missed the boat, had a choice to make. Elijah put him to the test, just like we are being tested today. 

Will you follow after Me or follow after your own fleshly desires?

So Elijah left there and found Elisha son of Shaphat, whose plowing was being done with twelve yoke of oxen, and he drove the twelfth. Elijah crossed over to him and cast his mantle upon him. He left the oxen and ran after Elijah and said, "Let me kiss my father and mother, and then I will follow you." 

And he [testing Elisha] said, "Go on back. What have I done to you? [Settle it for yourself.]" So Elisha went back from him. Then he took a yoke of oxen, slew them, boiled their flesh with the oxen's yoke [as fuel], and gave to the people, and they ate. Then he arose, followed Elijah, and served him. 1 Kings 19:19-21 AMP

Elijah heard directly from God. But God was not in the wind, the earthquake, or the fire. The Lord was in the still, small voice. Today God is stretching forth His hand the second time to deliver the keys of David into the hand of the righteous who have followed the Father in spirit and truth. They have forsaken all others for the work of the Cross of Jesus Christ.

The Fiery Sword

We've come to the place in history being written that God will rewrite what man has done in his own will. God is sending forth a fiery sword out of the mouth of His true prophets in this day that will cause division. It is His division that conquers the false, because truth will trump the false every time. It may not look like it at first, but watch as God begins a small work and brings increase through the nations of the world. He's coming in power in this day and we must be ready to move quickly. 

There is no obstacle in our life that God can't cover or remove.

The Book of Jude gives a warning about the false teachers that would creep in unnoticed for the purpose of turning God's grace into lewdness and deny the Lord (see verse 4). They are dreamers that defile the flesh, reject authority, and speak evil of whatever they do not know because they don't know the person of the Word. 

They have never established a personal relationship with the Lord, and therefore operate from the flesh. And because they lack personal relationship with God and the desire to know His will, they corrupt themselves. Therefore they fall into apostasy and cause others to stumble (see verses 8-10).

Woe to them! For they have gone in the way of Cain, have run greedily in the error of Balaam for profit, and perished in the rebellion of Korah. Jude 11

We're given three examples in the above verse, and I believe it is a progression. Man begins with hatred in his heart that leads to greed, and in time, as they mature in the nature of the evil one, it manifests itself in rebellion. Rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft (see 1 Samuel 15:23), and God rejects those who partake of it.

The Way Of Cain: Cain had enmity in his heart. It was a deep-rooted hatred toward his brother that in time caused Cain to murder Abel. Cain's hatred and jealousy toward Abel was greater than his love for God. He had a choice to make. He chose to satisfy his flesh instead of following after God's heart and ruling over his fleshly desire. Cain had never established personal relationship with the Father, where I believe Abel did. That is why God rejected his offering.

 If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it. Genesis 4:7

The Error Of Balaam For Profit: Balaam was a soothsayer who mixed truth with false doctrine. His error was greed, or covetousness, because he was paid well to bring a curse upon the people of Israel. God's anger was kindled against him when he disobeyed Him and later withstood the Angel of the Lord three times. Balaam repented and brought the word of the Lord, refusing to curse Israel (see Numbers 22-23).

 The Rebellion Of Korah: Korah rejected true leadership, causing many to perish. He was one of the richest leaders of the Levites and a cousin of Moses and Aaron. He was jealous and felt overlooked for leadership, and therefore gathered 250 leaders of the assembly to rebel against Moses and Aaron. This angered God and He separated the holy from the profane. God did a new thing (see Numbers 16:30-32) and the earth opened up its mouth and swallowed them and their households – and a fire consumed the rest of the 250 men (see Numbers 16).

Crossroads In Time

The Body of Christ has come to a crossroads in time, a juncture on their heavenly journey in the Lord. Each one must decide for themselves which way to go. Some will want to turn back for fear of the unknown, yet others will proceed in faith. 

It is there that God meets them head-on, and they will move into a new dimension in Him. Those who choose to proceed in faith must be space aviators and explore the uncharted waters of the Spirit.

The Lord is coming for His Bride without spot or wrinkle. She will be scarred from the many battle wounds she sustained, but she will be worthy as she praises Him. The world has set itself on a course of self-destruction, and day-by-day she lingers in her own filth. But His Bride will be set aside, a glory to be witnessed as she stands out among the rest.

Don't miss the boat. Step out in faith and follow God with a whole heart. Let Him be the Master that steers you through uncharted waters by the winds of His Holy Spirit of Truth and witness the new dimensions in Him. 

Just dare to believe!
