Lincoln's Faith in God

Lincoln's relationship with God is a subject highly debated by historians and students of history. Some say Lincoln was an unbeliever, or at least a skeptic, of Christianity. A few say he was an atheist. Many say he was a "deeply religious" man that daily sought God's guidance.

What were Abraham Lincoln's religious beliefs? Was he a Christian? A deist? Or, was he a theistic rationalist, like many of America's Founding Fathers were?
Many books have been written on the subject of Lincoln's religion. When one reads Lincoln's presidential speeches and letters, filled with his references to the Bible and demonstrative of his dependence on prayer for God's guidance, it is difficult to comprehend why anyone would perceive President Lincoln as anything but a man that sincerely depended on God.

So . . . you are invited to read further for the evidence, or jump to the Conclusions below.

Why the debate?


The primary reason for this debate over whether or not Lincoln was a man of faith can be summed up in two words: William Herndon. Herndon was Lincoln's young law partner while Lincoln lived in Springfield. He shared a law office with Lincoln for many years. To make a long story short, Herndon wrote a biography of Lincoln many years after Lincoln was assassinated, and in it he proclaimed Lincoln an "infidel."

There is little doubt that Lincoln, as a young man, went through a period of skepticism towards Christianity. But as is evidenced by Lincoln's own words, he changed. (Herndon either never understood this, or had his reasons for refusing to accept it.) There is some debate as to when this change took place, and to what extent it went. His wife said that he "was never a technical Christian." But what she meant about "technical" Christian is in doubt. In that day, "born again" was not a commonly used, or understood, phrase. It is likely she found his relationship with God lacking due to his reluctance to join any specific church.

It is true that Lincoln never joined a church, although he attended church services regularly while President. The reason he gave for refusing to join a church was that he could "never be satisfied" with all the dogmas and creeds that the denominational churches of his day required. On this subject Lincoln wrote:
"When any church will inscribe over its altar, as its sole qualification for membership, the Savior's condensed statement of the substance of both law and Gospel, 'Thou shalt love the lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul and thy neighbor as thyself' that church will I join with all my heart and all my soul."

One of Lincoln's earliest statements on the subject of his faith came in 1846:
"That I am not a member of any Christian church is true; but I have never denied the truth of the Scriptures; and I have never spoken with intentional disrespect of religion in general, or of any denomination of Christians in particular....I do not think I could myself be brought to support a man for office whom I knew to be an open enemy of, or scoffer at, religion." [July 31, 1846]

Lincoln's Faith Increases


Mrs. Lincoln stated that after the demise of their son Willy in early 1862, her husband drew much closer to God. The evidence of this increases steadily while he is in the White House. Many of Lincoln's presidential speeches are superb examples of a man seeking God. Below is one of Lincoln's many proclamations, as president, for a national day of fasting and prayer. Few ministers of the gospel could have done better:
"It is the duty of nations as well as of men to own their dependence upon the overruling power of God, and to confess their sins and transgressions in humble sorrow, yet with assured hope that genuine repentance will lead to mercy and pardon, and to recognize the sublime truth, announced in Holy Scripture, and proven by all history, that those nations only are blessed whose God is the Lord. And, insomuch (sic) as we know that by His divine law nations, like individuals, are subjected to punishments and chastisement in this world, may we not justly fear that the awful calamity of civil war which now desolates the land may be but a punishment inflicted upon us for our presumptuous sins, to the needful end of our national reformation as a whole people? 

We have been the recipients of the choicest bounties of Heaven; we have been preserved these many years in peace and prosperity; we have grown in numbers, wealth and power as no other nation has ever grown. But we have forgotten God. We have forgotten the gracious hand which has preserved us in peace and multiplied and enriched and strengthened us, and we have vainly imagined, in the deceitfulness of our hearts, that all these blessings were produced by some superior wisdom and virtue of our own. Intoxicated with unbroken success, we have become too self-sufficient to feel the necessity of redeeming and preserving grace, too proud to pray to the God that made us. It behooves us, then, to humble ourselves before the offended power, to confess our national sins and to pray for clemency and forgiveness." [March 30, 1863]

On January 5, 1863 Lincoln responded to a letter from some Quakers that had written to encourage him and tell him they were praying for him:
"It is most cheering and encouraging for me to know that in the efforts which I have made and am making for the restoration of a righteous peace to our country, I am upheld and sustained by the good wishes and prayers of God’s people. No one is more deeply than myself aware that without His favor our highest wisdom is but as foolishness and that our most strenuous efforts would avail nothing in the shadow of His displeasure."

On September 4, 1864 Lincoln responded to Elizah P. Guerney, another Quaker, thanking her for her prayers and kind letter:
"The purposes of the Almighty are perfect, and must prevail, though we erring mortals may fail to accurately perceive them in advance. We hoped for a happy termination of this terrible war long before this; but God knows best, and has ruled otherwise. We shall yet acknowledge His wisdom, and our own error therein. Meanwhile we must work earnestly in the best lights He gives us, trusting that so working still conduces to the great ends He ordains. Surely He intends some great good to follow this mighty convulsion, which no mortal could make, and no mortal could stay."

The following demonstrates Lincoln's humble, unquestioned dependence on God's aid. Rarely do our history books tell the story of a president on his knees in prayer! This was a statement he made to General Dan Sickles, a participant in the battle of Gettysburg:
"Well, I will tell you how it was. In the pinch of the campaign up there (at Gettysburg) when everybody seemed panic stricken and nobody could tell what was going to happen, oppressed by the gravity of our affairs, I went to my room one day and locked the door and got down on my knees before Almighty God and prayed to Him mightily for victory at Gettysburg. 

I told Him that this war was His war, and our cause His cause, but we could not stand another Fredericksburg or Chancellorsville... And after that, I don't know how it was, and I cannot explain it, but soon a sweet comfort crept into my soul. The feeling came that God had taken the whole business into His own hands and that things would go right at Gettysburg and that is why I had no fears about you." [July 5, 1863]

Lincoln stated the following upon receiving a gift of a Bible from a group of African-Americans from Baltimore:
"In regard to this great book, I have but to say, it is the best gift God has given to men. All the good Savior gave to the world was communicated through this book. But for it we could not know right from wrong. All things most desirable for man's welfare, here and hereafter, are to be found portrayed in it." [Sept. 9, 1864]

Lincoln: A Statesman Under God


While in the White House, Lincoln wrote out his private "Meditation on Divine Will":
"The will of God prevails. In great contests each party claims to act in accordance with the will of God. Both may be, and one must be, wrong. God cannot be for and against the same thing at the same time. In the present civil war it is quite possible that God's purpose is something different from the purpose of either party -- and yet the human instrumentalities, working just as they do, are of the best adaptation to effect His purpose. I am almost ready to say that this is probably true -- that God wills this contest, and wills that it shall not end yet. By his mere great power, on the minds of the now contestants, He could have either saved or destroyed the Union without a human contest. Yet the contest began. And, having begun He could give the final victory to either side any day. Yet the contest proceeds."[September, 1862]

He also said:
"Whatever shall appear to be God's will, I will do."[September 13, 1862]

"Amid the greatest difficulties of my administration, when I could not see any other resort, I would place my whole reliance in God, knowing that all would go well, and that He would decide for the right." [October 24, 1863]

The following is from Lincoln's Second Inaugural Address. This address is widely recognized as one of the world's greatest speeches. Unlike modern day presidents, Lincoln did not have a "speech writer" to put together inspiring statements for him to read to the people. What he usually did with major documents, such as the inaugurals, was write out the complete text himself, and then submit it to a few trusted friends for comment. He rarely made anything other than minor changes as a result of these criticisms.

In this, the latter half of his second inaugural address, Lincoln starts off in describing how both the North and South was surprised at how long the war had lasted, and how they were both surprised that the cause of the war (slavery) was on the road to ending, but the war still went on. [Note: the 13th amendment, ending slavery, had been pushed through Congress by Lincoln and was already in the process of ratification by the states. The Confederate Congress was making provisions, also, of using slaves as soldiers, and as a result of that--providing the black soldiers with freedom.]

"...Neither party expected for the war, the magnitude, or the duration, which it has already attained. Neither anticipated that the cause of the conflict might cease with, or even before, the conflict itself should cease. Each looked for an easier triumph, a result less fundamental and astounding. Both read the same Bible, and pray to the same God; and each invokes His aid against the other. It may seem strange that any men should dare to ask a just God's assistance in wringing their bread from the sweat of other men's faces; but let us judge not that we be not judged.

The prayers of both could not be answered; that of neither has been answered fully. The Almighty has His own purposes. "Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!" If we shall suppose that American Slavery is one of those offences which, in the providence of "God, must needs come, but which, having continued through His appointed time, He now wills to remove, and that He gives to both North and South, this terrible war, as the woe due to those by whom the offence came, shall we discern therein any departure from those divine attributes which the believers in a Living God always ascribe to Him?

Fondly do we hope, fervently do we pray, that this mighty scourge of war may speedily pass away. Yet, if God wills that it continue until all the wealth piled up by the bondsman's 250 years of unrequited toil shall be sunk, and until every drop of blood drawn with the lash shall be paid by another draw with the sword, as was said 3000 years ago, so still must it be said, ‘the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.

With malice toward none; with charity for all; with firmness in the right, as God gives us to see the right, let us strive on to finish the work we are in; to bind up the nation's wounds; to care for him who shall have borne the battle, and for his widow, and his orphan--to do all which may achieve and cherish a just, and a lasting peace, among ourselves, and with all nations." [March 4, 1865]

This is Lincoln's proclamation that the last Thursday of November should be set aside as a day of Thanksgiving. Many days of Thanksgiving had been proclaimed by presidents before this one, but this is the one that finally turned into the national holiday that we celebrate annually.

"It has seemed to me fit and proper that they (gifts of God) should be solemnly, reverently, and gratefully acknowledged as with one heart and one voice by the whole American people. I do, therefore, invite my fellow-citizens in every part of the United States, and also those who are at sea and those who are sojourning in foreign lands, to set apart and observe the last Thursday of November next as a day of thanksgiving and praise to our beneficent Father who dwelleth in the heavens." [October 3, 1863]

Rarely do our presidents invoke the power of the Holy Spirit in their national proclamations:
"I invite the people of the United states (on Aug 6)... to invoke the influence of His Holy Spirit... to guide the counsels of the government with wisdom adequate to so great a national emergency, and to visit with tender care and consolation throughout the length and breadth of our land all those who, through the vicissitudes of marches, voyages, battles, and sieges have been brought to suffer in mind, body, or estate, and finally to lead the whole nation through the paths of repentance and submission to the Divine will back to the perfect enjoyment of union and internal peace." [July 15, 1863]


Conclusions about Lincoln's religious beliefs


Lincoln was raised in the Christian-Calvinistic traditional faith, which he abandoned when a young man. William Herndon was close with Lincoln during his years of skepticism towards Christianity, but did not go to Washington DC with Lincoln when he became President, and consequently never witnessed the change in his old friend that took place in his later years. While President of the United States, Lincoln became a man of tremendous faith and dependence on the God of the Bible. 

There is no reliable evidence that he ever accepted Christ as his personal saviour, but he did believe Christ was THE Saviour. There is ample evidence that Lincoln read the Bible daily, prayed, and returned to his Christian-Calvinist roots while President. As President, he was neither an atheist nor a deist, since he obviously believed in God, prayed, and believed that God was intervening in the affairs of the United States of America. He was clearly at least a theist, and attended the New York Avenue Presbyterian Church frequently.

Since he believed that God still intervened in the affairs of mankind, and considered the Bible to be the truth (reading it nearly every day while in the White House) theistic rationalist is a possible interpretation of Lincoln's religious beliefs.

JERUSALEM, Israel -- With increasing numbers of Ukrainian, French and other European Jews immigrating to Israel, the government is considering a variety of programs to help them with the process.
 
Israeli Immigration and Absorption Minister Sofa Landver is asking for an additional 600 million shekels over the next two years to prepare Jewish families for successful absorption into Israeli life, The Jerusalem Post reported Wednesday.
 
Aliyah (immigration to Israel under the Law of Return) is a complex process, which includes, among other things, learning to read, write and speak Hebrew, not just in the synagogue, but as an integral part of daily life. 
 
Landver wants to work with the Education Ministry to help potential immigrants hone their Hebrew skills abroad as they plan their aliyah. While many Jews have a basic knowledge of Hebrew, learning to communicate on all levels is a whole different challenge.
 
In addition to studying Hebrew, the government wants to facilitate reestablishing businesses and help people use the education, skills and work experience they bring with them to build new lives in the Jewish state.  
 
New immigrants have always needed lots of support for successful absorption into Israeli life, and Landver and others are exploring new ways to help them in the process.
 
The French aliyah led in 2014, with nearly 7,000 French Jews making a new start in Israel. Close to 6,000 Ukrainian Jews immigrated last year, a 190 percent increase from 2013.

A recent string of attacks targeting Jews, culminating in the hostage stand-off at a kosher deli in Paris, proved once again that anti-Semitism is alive and well.
That doesn’t bode well for Jews still living abroad. But even within the relative safety of their national borders, these events still have a profound impact on the Jews of Israel.
Israel Today took to the streets to ask average Israelis, some of whom immigrated from the West, how they feel about the new rise in global anti-Semitism.

I saw what looked like a Golden Star, shooting at the speed of a comet. As it approached earth's atmosphere I realized that it wasn't a comet at all, but an angel of the Lord, as he landed on earth on one knee with his head bowed. As I approached him, I saw what looked like a pipe in his hand was actually his scepter and, once it touched the ground, it grew and glowed!!  It emitted the most incredible golden light with gems that started to ignite and transmit shafts of light. It wasn't just a pipe, but a scepter, as he came with great authority. 

I asked him, "Why are you here, and what's your name?" He said, "My name is Storm, and I'm from the past, but I come with a message." The message became like a movie. I could see, as far as the eye could see, many, many, lost and broken people, hurting, wounded and barely making it (many were those in ministry). I was so overwhelmed by what looked like a massacre that had come through, but it was from an onslaught of the enemy.  

I started to pray and cry out to the Lord. When I opened my eyes there was a different angel who was before me. I asked him, "What is your name?" and He said, "I'm called Future," and when his scepter hit the ground I saw underground caverns of silver, and rivers of liquid gold. Gems were everywhere. There was a treasure chest filled with pearls, gems, and golden goblets embellished like I've never seen before. The angel, Future, said, "I'm here to help navigate The Father's people." 

I Am Releasing

Believe that I am removing the veil of heaviness and despair and I'm releasing, says the Lord, rivers of life to the multitudes, and multiplication will take place just like for the widow, or the boy with the bread and fish. You will see obstacles removed, and roadblocks that have hindered my people will be no more. Tell them, I am calling you! As He called Lazarus, He is calling us to come out of our death or grave clothes.

This vision is so, so amazing because I understand what He's saying. Listen, the Angel, Storm, always removes the dead debris out and off of us, like a tree being pruned. Many have gone thru difficult storms, divested by the ravages of life. 

I see the Angel, Future, wanting us to know that there is provision in the vision. He has called us, each one of us, that we are so beautiful, like a gem, unto the King. Some of you may need to just take off those garments of the past that have made you feel like you are invisible, worthless, or never good enough. God the loving Father is calling all of His sons and daughters to come out of the death clothes, and to come out and live.

Father, may your unspeakable joy overflow us each and every day. Thank you that whatever storm we may have had, or are still going through, that we are not alone.

Lee Grady is right. Fifty Shades of Grey—erotic mommy porn that is making its way from the printed page to the big screen this Valentine's Day—is perverted. 
"The book was accurately dubbed 'mommy porn' because it is sexually graphic and full of crude language, and also because Christian expects his girlfriends to totally submit to his sexual tastes—which involve whips, chains, handcuffs and gray neckties," Grady writes. "This is not just mainstream porn. This is mainstream bondage porn."
Grady is spot on with his three-pronged assessment. Fifty Shades of Grey encourages sexual deviance, glorifies violence against women and totally perverts the meaning of love. The movie release is somewhat ironic, given Hollywood's focus on—and profitability—producing faith-based films like NoahGod's Not Dead and Heaven is For Real in recent years.
Of course, Hollywood has long served many gods—just like Queen Jezebel in the Old Testament (see 1 Kin. 16:31). The spirit that influenced the wicked queen—and the spirit driving much of the filth emerging from Hollywood—is alive and well today. The problem is that most don't recognize this sinister spirit for what it is. The spirit of Jezebel is not merely a spirit of control and manipulation. It's a spirit of seduction that woos people into sexual immorality and idolatry (Rev. 2:20). Hollywood exalts the spirit of Jezebel and Fifty Shades of Grey glorifies its perversion.
Jezebel Makes Its Home in Hollywood
The Old Testament Queen Jezebel was a Phoenician princess who married Ahab, king of Israel. Her father was Ethbaal, king and high priest of the Sidonians. Queen Jezebel introduced Baal worship into Israel and encouraged Ahab to build Asherah poles (see 1 Kin. 16:33).
Baal worship gives us clues as to the workings of Jezebel. The name Baal means "lord" or "possessor." According to the Dake Annotated Reference Bible, Baal was the sun-god of Phoenicia, and the supreme deity among the Canaanites and various other pagan nations. His full title is Baal-Shemaim, which means "lord of heaven." In Greek mythology, Zeus would be the equivalent of Baal.
The Canaanites, who were Baal worshippers, participated in sex worship, fertility rites, religious prostitution and human sacrifice—all to pacify the gods. Fast-forward 55 book in the Bible and you find Jesus warning us of a false prophetess called Jezebel who teaches and seduces God's servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols (Rev. 2:20). That's what Fifty Shades of Grey—and books and movies like it—are doing. Again, Fifty Shades of Grey is a prime example of Jezebel's sexual perversion.
Judgment Begins in the House of God
While many in the church are up in arms about Fifty Shades of Grey—and well they should be—the irony is the church has long tolerated Jezebel. And judgment begins in the house of God (see 1 Pet. 4:17).
Speaking to the church at Thyatira, Jesus said, "Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols" (Rev. 2:20).
Sadly, the spirit of Jezebel is picking off pastors one by one as they succumb to the evil desires in their own hearts. Too few recognize the sinister workings of Jezebel's covert seduction. They've bought into what I call the "Jezebel deception" and are either tolerating sexual immorality in the church or merely failing to recognize the true Jezebel in operation because they are on a witch hunt for controlling, manipulative women.
I won't recount the list of fallen Protestant pastors in the past year alone nor the pedophilia in the Catholic church. Headline-making moral failures no longer shock me, but they still grieve me—and grieve the Lord. I can't imagine how He feels about Fifty Shades of Grey. But again, judgment begins in the house of God.
Let's Examine Ourselves
As I've said before, sexual immorality and idolatry are growing trends in the church—and I imagine they're more prevalent in the pews than they are in the pulpits. The spirit of Jezebel is often behind this immoral trend, tapping into the lust of the flesh with its seductive agenda.
I wonder how many kids' church teachers read Fifty Shades of Grey and how many Christian youth will stand in line for a ticket to the movie this weekend. And I shudder to think of the seeds that will be planted in the hearts and minds of those who digest this perversion.
So while we're up in arms about Fifty Shades of Grey, perhaps we should look in our own lives for this spirit of Jezebel's influence. Again, judgment begins in the house of God. While you are boycotting Fifty Shades of Grey, take a moment to examine your own heart for immorality and idolatry so you can avoid the snares of Jezebel in your own life. And don't go see Fifty Shades of Grey.

"Prophetic Word: A Fresh Release of God's Love and Mercy"

In February God is calling us to enter into His rest. Don't get too busy or you will miss what God is speaking right now. This year is about finding a new upgraded way of doing what God has called you to do. New angels are being assigned to you to get things done without having to work too hard.

God spoke to me clearly that we must take time away from the things that drain us or take our focus away from the things that are important for this season. He is calling us to do what we already do but find more effective ways to do it.

February is a breakthrough month, March will cause things to move forward, and there will be surprises in April. Watch for new assignments, gifts, and callings to come forward.

Promotion Is Here and It's Not Too Late

Something new is happening in the spiritual realm between February 8 and March 8. God is promoting those who have made it through the extreme testing that has taken place over the past seven years.

But there are many people who bailed out on the process that God was doing in their hearts and lives. Starting in February, God is calling those who bailed out to get back into God's timing and process.

False Humility Being Healed

God has hidden many people over the last seven years. When God does this in your life, it seems that no matter what you do, things do not seem to work for you. But this is the time for you to come forward with new favor. There is a difference between when God hides you and when you hide yourself. Hiding yourself is false humility. When God hides you, you are still operating in all that you are called to, but God allows you to have minimal favor and people tend not to listen to you.

These hidden seasons are necessary and help us to grow and mature spiritually. The temptation during the quiet seasons is to pull back further. But God does not want us to do this. That is false humility and so many people begin to hide themselves thinking they are being humble when in reality God wants you to move forward. Watch as the "hidden ones" begin to emerge and see the healing happen for those who hid themselves. This is a time of promotion.

Shift in Love

Just as Valentine's Day is a time of love, so God is releasing a new wave of His love and mercy this month. This is to help offset a negative legalistic view of God that has crept into many people's beliefs. A big sign of this is when you see people moving from grace and mercy to rules and judgment. God is love and He is calling us to have love and compassion. (Photo via Wikimedia)

When we stand too firm for what we believe we can lose touch with grace, mercy and God's heart for people in need around us. God is revealing these negative beliefs now. The best way to deal with it if you find yourself doing some of these things is to repent and be humble towards others.
1 Corinthians 13:13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

God is a Loving Father Not an Angry Judge

One major change that is being released is how we view God. He is a loving Father and not an angry judge. God is not mad at you or punishing you for things you do. God is not punishing the U.S. or judging us. God the Father truly is who Jesus said He is.

1 John 4:8 "Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love."

It is interesting that many people who deal harshly with those who are not Christians are most often the very ones that see Him as an angry judge. As we clear up our view of who God really is then we will live a life free of guilt and can more easily give away God's love and mercy to others.

Modern Parable in a Movie

Recently I watched the movie The Judge with Robert Duvall and Robert Downey Jr. It was a sad and depressing story about a father who was a judge and was not kind to his children. His sons did not flourish and longed for a blessing from their father. The father's harsh judgments made him sick and destroyed the lives of people around him.

God spoke to me that this is the condition of many Christians today. People who view God as a judge tend to treat others harshly and it is a misrepresentation of the loving Father in Heaven.

Parents and spiritual parents hold the key to revival. As they humble themselves and reach out to their children then healing will come. The Spirit of Elijah (Luke 1:17) is coming to turn the hearts of the parents to the children.
A dividing line is here as God is revealing His true nature to people and calling us to be humble and love others.

House Arrest Changing

All things are becoming new. Difficult times, being misunderstood and betrayal are being cut off. God is giving you a place of peace. Many people have been under "house arrest" and have been limited in the House of God. But God is changing your house arrest into a house of rest. We are entering into a new season of freedom, peace and rest. Praise and gratefulness is the key.

Three New Keys

I have been seeing this prophetic word over many people when I speak and do Prophetic Life Coaching. God is giving us three keys right now: understanding, creativity, and relationships.

The Key of Understanding: This means a deeper understanding of your current situation and insight into the next steps you need to take is coming to you. He is going to show you how much grace and love has been extended you.

The Key of Creativity: This is about creative ideas and problem solving. It involves wisdom and discernment, heavenly mindsets and understanding.

Key to Restoration of Relationships: Key relationships are developing and you are also being given a key to reconciliation. Watch relationships begin to reconcile. (Photo via Pixabay)

A New Sound is Being Released Right Now

February is the start of a whole new sound and way of doing things. All things are being made new. It is time to decree God's supernatural vision over yourself. I saw people rising up and moving forward as a new sound from Heaven will break shackles from the past. People are being released from their prisons of hopelessness.

Dream: Bless Your Enemy

I had a dream that I was being pursued by someone who wanted to kill me. I was fleeing from them but noticed they had a flat tire. God spoke to me in the dream to stop and help them fix the flat tire. I saw that the tire needed an inner tube and one arrived. As air was being put into the inner tube it filled his entire car. Air represents the Holy Spirit and God is calling us to bless our enemies right now.

This ties in with the spirit of God's love and the "Restoration of Relationships" key being released. The prophetic meaning is that God wants to touch people with the Holy Spirit in their "inner parts."

Prophetic Sign in the Super Bowl

The prophetic sign given to us in the Super Bowl was that in the last moment God will come through for you. He is promoting unknown people like Malcolm Butler of the New England Patriots. He was a rookie and made a miraculous last-minute game-winning interception. Butler said in an interview after the game that he had a vision before the game that he would make a big play. Just four days before the big game he tweeted, "BE HUMBLE......BE BLESSED."

Overall we are going to begin seeing healing of relationships and new freedom coming. Watch for last minute miracles and God changing the hearts of people around you. Be open to new ways of moving in God's love and power!
