Doug Addison: It's Time to March Forward! Prophetic Signs From Bob Jones

Doug Addison:
Doug AddisonThere has been a horrendous attack against those who are advancing right now. March is coming in like a lion with warfare and resistance but it is going out like a lion as well.

The result will create a new strength of character that you need right now: to be "gentle as a lamb." Humility is a key to overcoming and advancing.

March Forward!

If there is one word to describe what we need to do...that is "March." Forward motion will open the doors in front of you and close the doors behind. "As you go" things will open. Don't sit down or give up right now. The enemy's plans are to get you discouraged and quit, but God is sending help and angelic reinforcements.

The first three months of 2014 have been a testing time. Many people have taken themselves out of the game but it is not time to back down. It is time to keep moving forward!!!

God is promoting people who are able to overcome, remain humble and engaged.

Sudden Advancement

Covenant Promise by Jennifer PageWatch for surprises and sudden advancement. God is taking the Heavenly resources for the higher callings and gifts that were intended for those who quit and giving them to people who are ready and willing. This will unfold more from now through July. Ask God to show you assignments or tasks that others have forgotten about or stopped using. As you pick these Heavenly tasks up, you will see an accelerated increase in growth and resources.

Wisdom, Peace and Encouragement

As you may have seen or experienced, there is an extreme amount of turmoil on the earth right now. It is happening with the weather and in the political overthrowing of governments. Disharmony is at an extreme level.

It is so important to stay at peace during this storm. It will take three characteristics of the Holy Spirit to get through: Wisdom, Peace, and Encouragement.

God is granting a huge amount of peace and encouragement for those who need it. As you begin to exercise new levels of wisdom, God will establish a new foundation so that many of the prophetic words you've received will make sense.

God says that the Spirit of encouragement will win this year.

"By wisdom the Lord laid the earth's foundations, by understanding He set the heavens in place." Proverbs 3:19

Political Upheaval

The political shaking that is happening right now is birth pains. It is not for judgment but for the release of something new that is going to set up a huge move of God. It is a prophetic sign that the old is being displaced by something totally new. We saw this in the Winter Olympics as many reigning champions were replaced by new, upcoming leaders.

Older ways of controlling people are making way for new levels of freedom. "The old has gone and the new is here" (2 Corinthians 5:17). God is releasing a new level of freedom that is waking up the Earth to His love and power.

Vertigo in Leaders

I have been seeing a lot of leaders suffering from vertigo. If you are experiencing this, there is a good chance that people around you are not in agreement with what you are doing. Vertigo is a negative spin that can happen when there are people praying or going in a different direction.

Granted, it could be a physical illness. But often, if you are a leader, physical illnesses are a prophetic sign of things happening around you. You will overcome this by getting the right people around you to support the new time you are entering.

Prophetic Signs of Bob Jones's Death

Prophet Bob Jones went back to Heaven for a final time on February 14, 2014. Bob died in 1975, but was sent back to prepare us for one of the greatest revivals on earth that is about to take place. Bob was a personal friend and spiritual father to me. I had the opportunity to travel and mentor with Bob for a number of years.

There were so many prophetic signs at Bob's passing. Here are a few:

• Bob died on 2/14. The prophet of Love dies on the day of love (Valentine's Day).

• 2/14 = 2 Kings 2:14 is the passing of the mantle from Elijah to Elisha.

• He died at 6:22 am. Matthew 6:22, "The eye is the light of the body..." Bob was a true "eye of the Body" type of Seer.

• There was an earthquake in South Carolina on the day he died and measured 4.1 on the Richter scale. Revelation 4:1, "I looked and there was a door standing open in Heaven."

We know that Bob's loss on earth is a gain in Heaven. All that Bob had prophesied and given to us will bring a great return!

"Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds." John 12:24

My Miracle at Bob's Graveside

As many of you know I have been very sick with Lyme disease for the past eight months. I had to cancel several speaking events and have been unable to do much work, moving slowly. An infected tick in Moravian Falls, NC a few years ago, bit me.

As I was walking away from Bob Jones' graveside service in Moravian Falls, Bobby Connor turned and prayed for me.

A flash of blue angelic light appeared between us and I was instantly healed. I am so grateful to be restored 100% by God's Holy Spirit. I have been feeling great ever since!

May God grant you full healing and wholeness as we advance the Kingdom on Earth.

It's time to march forward!

Blessings,

Doug Addison

Scarlett Johansson Again Defends SodaStream and Israel - ISRAEL TODAY

Scarlett Johansson Again Defends SodaStream and Israel

Monday, March 17, 2014 |  Israel Today Staff
Hollywood superstar Scarlett Johansson on Sunday again defended her decision to represent Israeli soda-maker SodaStream and shot down biased criticism of and efforts to boycott the Jewish state.
In an interview with the UK’s Observer that was supposed to focus on her role in an upcoming film, Johansson was aggressively confronted over her spokesperson position with SodaStream, which operates a large factory near the “Jewish settlement” of Ma’aleh Adumim.
The factory employs hundreds of Palestinian Arabs and Israeli Jews, and, according to Johansson, “is a model for some sort of movement forward in a seemingly impossible situation.”
That wasn’t good enough for the interviewer, who wrote that Johansson must have been given some bad advice or made a wrong decision, but was now unable to extract herself from the situation without upsetting one side or another.
Not so, Johansson retorted, insisting that she “stands behind that decision. I was aware of that particular factory before I signed [on]…and…it still doesn’t seem like a problem.”
Clearly becoming frustrated with the starlet, the interviewer pointed out that the biggest names in the international community all regard Israeli settlements as illegal and a detriment to the dignity and livelihood of Palestinian Arabs.
Determined not to be cowed, Johansson replied, “I think that’s something that’s very easily debatable.” She went on to note that while a firm majority in the UK might back the interviewer’s position, that is certainly not true everywhere.
Johansson also took a shot at the UK-based charity Oxfam, from which she stepped down as a global ambassador when Oxfam too harshly criticized her relationship with SodaStream.
“There’s plenty of evidence that Oxfam does support and has funded a BDS [anti-Israel boycott, divest, sanctions] movement in the past. It’s something that can’t really be denied,” Johansson said. “For a non-governmental organization to be supporting something that’s supporting a political cause… there’s something that feels not right about that to me.”

Why Who You Fellowship With Is Important - SpiritLed Woman

Why Who You Fellowship With Is Important

Fellowship. What a great word! It comes from the idea of two people sitting together in a ship. These two men or women would be companions, working or relaxing together, sharing community and conversation. Together they could enjoy the strength of relationship and experience the smooth sailing that camaraderie brings.
But what would happen if one of the men in those close quarters was not a nice guy, but instead rude and arrogant? What if one of the women in that boat was a constant downer, endlessly complaining about her troubled marriage or deviant children? The ride would be rough, to say the least. Fellowship like that could cause you to look for the nearest port of call or even tempt you to jump overboard!
It’s important who you fellowship with; that’s an obvious truth. The Bible says, “Do not be deceived: ‘Bad company corrupts good morals’” (1 Cor. 15:33, NASB). But this Scripture can apply to more than the people you hang around with.
What if we considered it in light of the attitudes we fellowship with? If we were to check the passengers that are on board in the cabins of our hearts, whom would we find there? Would it be the stowaways of discouragement and depression? Perhaps we would find pride, bitterness or faultfinding.
Maybe you have never thought about fellowship in this way before, but the attitudes we stow are as important as the company we keep. We fellowship daily with our own thoughts, and the attitudes that develop as a result of them, like friends, affect our behavior. If we are bound to a negative thought life, are we not fellowshipping with darkness?
The Bible says, “Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness?” (2 Cor. 6:14). This Scripture is clearly speaking of our human associations, but it’s interesting to apply the truth to our fellowship with our own attitudes.
If we are listening to the voices of anxiety, we may be fellowshipping with the darkness of fear. How can we launch out into the deep places with God if fear is rowing against us? That fellowship would keep us anchored to the shores of safety and comfort.
Or how could we set sail with negativity as our navigator? We would find ourselves seeing everything through a dense fog and then be surprised when we arrived at the wrong destination. Clearly, not the kind of fellowship we need!
Because we are with ourselves 24/7, we are feeding our spirits all the time. Therefore it is important to know with whom—or what—we are fellowshipping. If faith comes by hearing (see Rom. 10:17), what do our hearts hear us say? Does the inner fellowship of our attitudes increase our faith, or do we discourage ourselves and provoke our own unrest?
Faith does indeed come by hearing, but so do doubt and fear. If I hear a negative report, these two shipmates are all too ready to climb on board and set sail with me. There on the open sea of my soul, I wrestle with the fellowship of darkness.
How much better it would be to voyage with the peace of Christ—to descend into the bottom of the vessel and find Jesus at rest there in spite of the storm around me. How inviting it sounds to raise the sail of hope and embark on a journey, knowing that joy and wisdom will travel with me. This is the fellowship I long for.
Of course there may be times when pirates invade our fellowship. The hostile takeover of our serenity is often a real threat. We must be diligent to carefully watch the compasses of our thought lives so we do not wander into enemy territory. Random thoughts, like pirates of the seas, will try to enter your boat and ride with you, tormenting your mind and heart.
If you had to take inventory of the passengers on your ship, what would you find there? Are you on a five-day cruise with criticism, perhaps? This little cabin boy seems to hitch a ride on many of our vessels. How easy it is to point a finger and judge what we see in others while at the same time excusing ourselves from similar flaws!
Or would your inventory reveal that you have braved the open sea with anger as your co-captain? This is one navigator that will steal your peace and take you in the wrong direction.
Whatever you find in the hold of your ship that causes you to fellowship with darkness, throw it overboard now! We are called to fellowship with the light. We do that by inviting Jesus’ thoughts into our minds and asking the Holy Spirit to pilot us into the safe waters of the Word of God.
Paul prayed that “the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit” would be with us all (2 Cor. 13:14). Those are companions we can safely take anywhere!

Patrick, Ireland and His Love For God

St. Patrick of Ireland

"If I have any worth, it is to live my life for God so as to teach these peoples, even though some of them still look down on me."
– St. Patrick

St. Patrick is Ireland's patron saint, known for spreading Christianity throughout the country as a missionary during the 5th century.

Born in England arguably in the late 4th century A.D., Patrick was captured by pirates as a child and brought to Ireland. During his enslavement, he was called to Christianity and escaped his captors after six years. He returned to Ireland as a missionary, and in his teachings, combined Irish pagan beliefs with Christian sacrament, devising the Celtic Cross. He is annually honored on March 17.

Early Life

St. Patrick, apostle of Ireland, was born in England circa 385. His father, Calphurnius, was a deacon from a Roman family of high social standing. His mother, Conchessa, was a close relative of the great patron St. Martin of Tours. Patrick's grandfather, Pontius, was also a member of the clergy. Surprisingly, Patrick himself was not raised with a strong emphasis on religion. Education was not particularly stressed during his childhood either. Later in life, this would become a source of embarrassment for Patrick, who in the early 440s, would write in his Confessio, "I blush and fear exceedingly to reveal my lack of education."

When Patrick was 16 years old, he was captured by Irish pirates. They brought him to Ireland where he was sold into slavery in Dalriada. There, his job was to tend sheep. Patrick's master, Milchu, was a high priest of Druidism, a Pagan sect that ruled religious influence over Ireland at the time.

Patrick came to view his enslavement as God's test of his faith. During his six years of captivity, he became deeply devoted to Christianity through constant prayer. In a vision, he saw the children of Pagan Ireland reaching out their hands to him. With this, he grew increasingly determined to free the Irish from Druidism by converting them to Christianity.

Missionary Work

Circa 408, the idea of escaping enslavement came to Patrick in a dream. In the dream, a voice promised him he would find his way home to England. Eager to see the dream materialize, St. Patrick convinced some sailors to let him board their ship. After three days of sailing, he and the crew abandoned the ship in France and wandered, lost, for 28 days—covering 200 miles of territory in the process. At last, St. Patrick was reunited with his family in England.

Now a free man, Patrick went to Auxerre, France where he studied and entered the priesthood under the guidance of the missionary St. Germain. As time passed, Patrick never lost sight of his vision: he was determined to convert Ireland to Christianity. C. 431, Pope St. Celestine I consecrated Patrick Bishop of the Irish, and sent him to Ireland to spread "The Good News," or Christian Gospel, to the Pagans there.

Upon his arrival in Ireland, Patrick was initially met with hostile resistance. But Patrick quickly managed to spread Christian teachings far and wide. Through preaching, writing and performing countless baptisms, he convinced Pagan Druids that they were worshiping idols under a belief system that kept them enslaved. By accepting Christianity, he told them, they would be elevated to "the people of the Lord and the sons of God."

Throughout his missionary work, Patrick continued to promote the conversion of Ireland to Christianity by electing Church officials, creating councils, founding monasteries and organizing Ireland into dioceses.

Patrick died circa 461 in Saul, Ireland. He is said to have been buried in Ulster, County Down, Ireland.

Though he was never formally canonized as a pope, Patrick is on the List of Saints, and was declared a Saint in Heaven by many Catholic churches. Patrick was also venerated in the Orthodox Catholic Church.

The Episcopal Church annually honors St. Patrick with the celebration of St. Patrick's Day on March 17, which falls during the Christian season of Lent. For more than 1,000 years, the Irish have observed St. Patrick's Day as a religious holiday. Traditionally, on St. Patrick's Day, Irish families would attend church in the morning and celebrate later—including eating a traditional meal of cabbage and Irish bacon.

What NASCAR Taught Me About Church

- Jeff Crawford, The Good, The Bad & The Ugly  March 3, 2014

IMG_2827
Jeff & Julie Crawford
One of the greatest gifts ever given to me was by my former church upon the occasion of my fifth anniversary as their pastor.  They sent Julie and me to the 2011 Daytona 500.  I am big NASCAR fan and can become highly offended when people make fun of me for this:)  Actually, being a NASCAR fan is a lot like being a pastor, both require thick skin for multiple reasons.
The Daytona 500 is unlike any other sporting event I have ever attended and stands alone even in the world of motorsports.  The Great American Race it is called.  A 2.5 mile oval where speeds exceed 200 miles an hour.  Because of the size of Daytona and the banking in the corners, drivers mash the gas all the way to the floor and never let up.   Daytona is so fast that cars must be artificially governed with the use of a restrictor plate for safety reasons.
There’s a point, you see, where fast is just too fast and 200 mph is sort of the magic threshold.  But what happens when you restrict the performance of these 800+ horsepower engines is that all 43 cars become clumped up into a massive pack cruising around the speedway.  This is the magic of Daytona.  You find yourself sitting on the edge of your seat as the greatest drivers in the world speed just inches from one another.  You get the very real sense that disaster could strike at any moment.  And because the cars run so close together, when a driver wrecks, he usually takes out multiple cars with him.  This kind of wreck is called The Big One.
When you put it all together, the whole experience is a three+ hour adrenaline rush.
So I found myself the last couple of weeks pumped and ready for this year’s Daytona 500, which ran last week.  As I was watching Speedweek’s events, particularly the qualifying duels on the Thursday before the 500, I learned something about, of all things…church.
What I learned about church involves what in NASCAR is called the draft.  Essentially, because of the draft, two cars can go faster than one car.  Here’s how it works.  A lead car can go maybe 195 mph.  The air resistance going that speed is tremendous.  Just stick your hand out the window of your car when you’re going 70 mph on the interstate to understand what I mean.  So a second car can come up behind a lead car and tuck himself up nice and close to the bumper.
When this happens he is drafting.  This means that he is not experience air resistance like the lead car WHICH MEANS he can go faster than 195 mph.  What he will then do is “bump” the lead car and push him to go faster than he can go by himself.  This is called bump drafting.  In this way, two cars are faster than one. Got it?
Now imagine 43 cars all jammed together at Daytona International Speedway, all running tucked up next to each other because the restrictor plates slow them all down to about the same speed.  What you have is a massive pack of drafting taking place.  And this is good and this is exciting because the big pack can go much faster than a single car or even a smaller pack.
What I learned about church on Thursday night watching the qualifying duels came when driver Kevin Harvick lost the draft.  Somehow, he fell to the back of the pack and allowed himself to get separated from the pack.  Then away they went.  He fell behind like a rock.
So how does this apply to church?  In this way:  I see way too many Christians today who lose the draft.
  • Sometimes they lose the draft accidentally.  They get distracted from church life with their “other” life.  A weekend at the lake.  Travel ball.  A “snow day.”  The intention may be to only miss church “just this one time,” but what so often happens is these “one time” Sundays add up and the next thing they know, they haven’t been to church in a month or longer.  They’ve lost the draft.  There are all kinds of ways that we lose the draft without meaning to.

  • Sometimes they lose the draft on purpose.  You will see this in NASCAR.  During the race, one car will pull out of line and try to make a move.  He thinks he’s got something the others don’t have to improve his position.  But what usually happens is that he starts to fall back…and fast.  Next thing you know he’s actually being lapped by the other cars!
So here is the life principle that all believers need to hear and understand:  You can go faster and further in a pack than on your own.
This is why we all need a church.  Is it messy at times?  Sure.  There’s banging and rubbing, and tempers flare and sometimes there is even a crash.  But we are all in this together.  Another thing I love about NASCAR is when a driver crashes one week, he’s back behind the wheel the next.  That’s how it should be in church life.  It will not always be perfect.  But it will always be exciting!
Let me challenge you – don’t lose the draft.  And if you’ve lost it, jump back into the pack THIS Sunday at your local church.
“Let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some…” Hebrews 10:24-25

Vladimir Putin: The Rise of Gog and the Prophecy of Ezekiel 38-39 by Dr. Jeff Crwaford

Vladimir Putin:

The Rise of Gog

and the

Prophecy of Ezekiel 38-39

Putin
Vladimir Putin, Russia
Dr. Jeff Crawford, The Good, The Band & The Ugly

March 10, 2014

We may be seeing a biblical prophecy fulfilled in front of our eyes.  Ezekiel 38-39 foretells the coming invasion of Israel from a northern land known as Magog.  The ruler of Magog is said to be Gog, a name that most biblical scholars identify as a title rather than a proper name itself.
The prophecy of Ezekiel 38-39 is fascinating because it is so specific in the way it names a coalition of nations that will come up against Israel.  The prophecy foretells this axis of evil that invades Israel will be miraculously destroyed by the hand of God and that Gog, himself, will be killed.   What is remarkable about Gog’s defeat is that the Bible declares he will be buried in Israel and not in his homeland.  This will be a sure sign as to the literal fulfillment of this prophecy.
It is no secret that Israel has her share of enemies.  The focus tends to always be on the Palestinian conflict and tensions with Israel’s immediate neighbors.  But the Ezekiel 38-39 prophecy points directly to an invasion led by Russia.  What clues in the prophecy point to modern day Russia as the biblical land of Magog?
  • Magog is referred to as the land in the north.  If you draw a line from Jerusalem all the way to the North Pole, that line will pass through…Moscow.
  • Gog is referred to as the prince of Meshech and Tubal.
  • Meschech refers to the ancient peoples who live along the Black and Caspien Seas, the Moschi, or the Moschovites.  This is the word from which Moscow is derived.
  • Tubal is a derivative of the modern word Tobolsk.  Tobolsk is the former capital of Russia and one of its most famous cities.
It is chillingly clear that the ancient land of Magog is modern day Russia.  More startling are Russia’s allies as named by Scripture.  A quick survey of Ezekiel 38:5-6 and the reader will note:
  • Persia – modern day Iran.  It is no secret the role Russia has and is playing in Iran’s nuclear program.  Iran is located to the east of Israel.
  • Cush – modern day Ethiopia.  A north African nation located to the south of Israel.
  • Put – modern day Lybia.  Another north African nation and one that has become completely hostile to the West in recent days.
  • Gomer – while a modern day equivalent here is difficult, biblical scholars agree that the people of Gomer were the Cimmerians, who lived around the Black Sea and were expelled to what is modern day Turkey.  So Gomer could be Turkey.  However, the ancient Cimmerians lived in what is now known as…Ukraine.  We should take particular notice of this as Ukraine has sprung onto the world scene as Russia is on the doorstep of invasion of this sovereign nation.  Could Gomer be Ukraine?
  • Beth-togarmah – this too is not certain but some scholars have suggested Germany as the modern day equivalent of this ancient land.
  • The uttermost parts of the north – when one looks at a map of the nations north of Israel they will certainly see Syria, among others.  Once again, the role of Russia in Syria is unavoidable.
The point is clear.  Russia, the ancient land of Magog, is on the move.  The headlines declare it so.  The pieces of its coalition are quickly falling into place.  And it is this collection of nations, led by the great bear of the north, that will at some point make a move against Israel.
Is Vladimir Putin the biblical leader, Gog?  Only time will tell.  But consider…
  • Putin is emboldened.  Since the fall of the Berlin Wall and the end of the Cold War, Russia has been kept in-check by the United States.  Putin no longer feels “in check.” In fact, he is playing his own game of chess and doing his best to put the United States in “check.”
  • Just two weeks ago, Russia signed an arms agreement with Egypt, Israel’s southern most neighbor.  Egypt now gets it military arms from Russia and not the United States.
  • The world watched as President Obama, walked back from his red-line in Syria over the use of chemical weapons.  Putin was paying close attention as well.
  • The world watched as our ambassador and his team was slaughtered in Libya.  To this day our government has done nothing by way of response.  This too has been noted by Putin.
  • The world has watched as the United States has been fixated on domestic issues such as the economy, same-sex marriage, immigration, climate change regulations, the minimum wage, etc. and in turn has treated international matters as less important.
  • The world has watched as the United States has proposed defense cuts and troop reductions to pre-WWII levels.
So while the United States is gearing down, self-focused, and too timid to respond to international matters, Putin has decided to make his move.
Watch Russia.  Watch Putin.  Watch the response of the United States, or lack thereof.  And watch as biblical prophecy unfolds in tomorrow’s headlines.
