Where All Our Prayers Ascend

This phenomenal video shows exactly where all of our prayers ascend to Heaven!

Hear the Call of the Shofar

On the High Holidays it is Jewish belief that all of mankind comes before God for judgement and to be inscribed either in the ‘book of life’ or the ‘book of death’. The Shofar plays a big role in the direction of our year!

Nano Bible Gentle Star of David Necklace

In the incredible Nano Bible, the spirit and technology of Israel have come together to produce the world’s smallest bible, printed onto a single 5mm x 5mm surface, and set into a beautiful piece of silver jewelry so that you can take the Bible with you wherever you go.

Today's Israel Photo

Pomegranates in the Land of Israel by Zvi Moss, our incredible 13 year old photographer. A Jewish custom on Rosh Hashanah is to eat from a pomegranate and recite a prayer, "may our merits be as abundant as the seeds of the pomegranate."

Yesterday's Photo Trivia

You got it! Yesterday's photo showed the Tower of David, which despite its name, actually has no connection to King David! Located near the Old City’s Jaffa Gate, the citadel is a medieval fortress with archaeological artifacts from nearly every period of the Holy City’s rich history.

Thank You

Please help us continue to spread the beauty and significance of the Land of Israel!

Miraculous: How Suffering Made Cuba's Church Grow

Miraculous: How Suffering Made Cuba's Church Grow

HAVANA -- As Cuba transitions to a new relationship with the United States, Americans have a renewed interest in learning how the church there has fared for the last 50 plus years.
The short answer is: amazingly well. In fact, many believe the hardships and suffering have paved the way for an explosion of church planting.
Comfort not a Concern
On a typical Sunday morning in Cuba, you can find churches across the island overflowing with worshippers. Many meet in homes and others meet in churches that look more North American but operate in a political climate that is very different.
Space is the biggest challenge for many churches. Under current government rules they typically cannot buy land or expand. One church CBN News visited responded to the rules by building several stories up. Others cram into homes and multiply when they become too big.
Pastor "Miguel" leads a church that used to meet in an apartment but now meets in the yard next to his apartment building.
"When you have 80 to 100 people [meeting] in an apartment it's hard, very hard," he told CBN News. "And neighbors get upset."
It's a common theme in Cuban churches, but it seems to have also helped to encourage church growth. In the past 20 years, more than 16,000 evangelical churches have opened their doors.
Pastor "Nestor" and his wife "Rosa" live in one room above their tiny house church. He told CBN News, "One of the things that has made us grow in faith has been the limitations and the difficulties."
On Sunday mornings and during weeknight services, only a few will have a real seat.
"People here don't care how comfortable they are," Rosa explained. "They could be exhausted from working all day and they will sit on a bag of rocks, a stitched up chair, or stand the whole service, and they're okay with that."
Home Church Explosion
Cuban church leaders say events led by the fall of the Soviet Union in the early 1990s sparked the current church planting explosion.
"When the Russian government collapsed Cuba went through a lot, and people started looking to churches for hope," Pastor "Julio" told CBN News.
At the same time, the government ended its atheistic philosophy that denied the existence of God and instead declared itself a secular state, prompting an entire generation to question what it believed.
During that period a government official told Cuban Baptists that the government could not authorize the construction of new buildings but suggested that the believers meet in homes.
The casual suggestion sparked a house church movement that many have compared to church history recorded in the book of Acts.
Pastor "Francisco" is one of thousands of Cuban house church pastors who follow the Gospel with tremendous passion. He came to the Lord after having dreams about Jesus for three years. Now he leads a small neighborhood church that meets three times a week.
"We have evangelized everyone who lives in this area, a New Testament Bible to each home," he told CBN News. "We can't stop -- we won't stop -- because even if they won't accept the Lord the first, second, third or fourth time, even so -- we can't stop until they come to the Lord."
Victory through Challenge
The growth of the church in Cuba is even more miraculous given the country's poverty. The average monthly government salary is $20 and professionals typically make less than $50.
Still, Cuban churches are known for their generosity and willingness to sacrifice for the sake of the Gospel.
"What we have we want to share with others," Francisco said. "What we have, not what we have left over."
Another obstacle facing Cuban churches is spiritual warfare in the form of Santeria. It's a system of beliefs influenced by West African religions and Catholicism. Santeria is known for its rituals and ceremonies.
Pastor Nestor has faced resistance right in the neighborhood. During one Sunday morning worship service, a group of Santeria followers stood just outside the church and began beating their drums.
"It was kind of like a spiritual face-off," Nestor recalled. "The church just started praying and then we prayed for rain and all of a sudden there was thunder so they had to leave."
Church leaders in Cuba say they're enjoying a new season of relaxed restrictions. It's easier to evangelize outside the church and they receive more permits to hold special events.
Still, most churches cannot expand or buy land. They cannot produce Christian radio or television shows.
They must also work around a dysfunctional economy. At Pastor Nestor's church, remodeling plans for the sanctuary are on hold indefinitely until the church can obtain much-needed cement.
"Sometime without suffering there's no challenge," Pastor Nestor told CBN News. "And without that challenge, there's no victory."

Europe Drops Political Correctness, Says Only Christians, Not Muslim Refugees Welcome

“When the poor and needy search for water and there is none, and their tongues are parched from thirst, then I, the LORD, will answer them. I, the God of Israel, will never abandon them.” (Isaiah 41:17)
With large waves of Middle East refugees making their way to Europe, various countries have made clear they are only willing to take in Christians fleeing the carnage and not Muslims.
Abandoning any sort of political correctness, Slovakia, Hungary and the Czech Republic have all come out against taking in Muslim refugees. On Monday, Cyprus announced it will allow 300 refugees to take refuge inside its borders, as long as they are Christian.
“We would seek for them to be Orthodox Christians,” explained Cyprus Interior Minister Socratis Hasikos on state radio. “It’s not an issue of being inhuman or not helping if we are called upon, but to be honest, yes, that’s what we would prefer.”
Hasikos, who is responsible for migration policy, added that Christian refugees would have an easier time adjusting to life in Cyprus compared to their Muslim counterparts.
His comments come amid rumored reports that the EU executive will issue a new set of national quotas under which EU member states must take in 160,000 asylum seekers.
At the end of August, Slovakia was the first European country to shockingly announce that Muslim immigrants and refugees would not be welcome inside its borders. Ivan Netik, an Interior Ministry Spokesman, said Muslims “would not feel at home” in his country.
Feed Israelis in Need During the High Holidays
In a followup interview with the BBC, Netik explained that Slovakia was not implementing a policy of discrimination, rather rules to preserve the country’s unity and identity. “We want to really help Europe with this migration wave but…we are only a transit country and the people don’t want to stay in Slovakia,” he said.
“We could take 800 Muslims but we don’t have any mosques in Slovakia so how can Muslims be integrated if they are not going to like it here?” Netik asked.
Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico warned that his country would not like to “wake up one day” and find Slovakia overrun by Muslims. “If a mechanism for automatic redistribution of migrants is adopted, then we will wake up one day and have 100,000 people from the Arab world and that is a problem I would not like Slovakia to have,” he stated.

Hungary, one of the largest opponents against taking in thousands of refugees fleeing Muslim countries, has expressed his concern for the changing demographic situation in Europe. Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán recently warned that the addition of tens of thousands of Middle Eastern Muslims should greatly endanger Europe’s Christian cultural identity.
In a somewhat ironic twist, Arab media has come down hard on European countries not willing to take in Muslims, despite the closed door policies towards refugees and migrants of many Muslim countries.
Gulf States, despite their vast wealth, has made it a policy to refuse refugees from war zones. Saudi newspaper Sabq, criticized European countries, accusing them of allowing “children, women and Muslim families…to starve and drown on the grounds that they could not settle among the Europeans without mosques.” The newspaper went on to call the situation “a new human tragedy.”

Who You Are by Lance Wallnau

Who You Are by Lance Wallnau

Identity Network

In the world you are a bar code.  In the kingdom you bear the image of God.

You are not your feelings.  You are not your past.  Your inner man is not the age of your outer man.  Your spirit is eternal.
Your real capacity is unexplored because it's a new nature that came alive the moment Christ came into your heart by the Holy Spirit.

You are no longer merely human - you possess an aspect of the divine nature. Your recreated spirit is the real you, and in that part you bear His image.
As you behold the beauty of the Lord you are changed: "But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the LORD" (2 Corinthians 3:18).

Did you know that the ancient mirrors were actually bronze hammered flat? When the sun hit them the radiant reflection would cover your face.

The figure is one of great beauty. The idea is, that by placing ourselves within the light of the gospel and by contemplating the glory that shines there, we become changed into the likeness of the same glory that shines on us.

Living Stones

The world system is called Babylon. Everybody loses their unique identity and becomes a brick, a unit, a number, a bar code - in a globally controlled economic system of total surveillance.

The tower of Babel was built of brick. Each brick made to fit exactly like the other brick.
The Temple of the Lord on the other hand is built of stones - "living stones" that fit together in such a way that each stone is unique.

The world pressures you to conform. It tries to make you a brick in a godless system.
The kingdom challenges the bride to transform: to make you a living stone in a living temple.

Hidden in Christ

You are a whole lot more than you think you are!

"When He appears you will see Him as He is and immediately be transformed to be just like Him" (1 John 3:2).

Do you know why? Because you are made of the same nature and material. Your life is hidden in Christ.

You only need to see Him to be like Him.

You only need to receive His words to activate what you've got.  Open the Bible and do it now. You only need to see to be.

Make sense?

Cindy Jacobs Addresses Fearful Prophecies Over America - JENNIFER LECLAIRE

Cindy JacobsCindy Jacobs (Facebook)

Prophetic Insight, from Charisma Media

With several months of the year of the whirlwind before us, how should we position ourselves amid the doom and gloom? That's a good question—and one I've been pondering more and more lately. In fact, I've discussed it with many prophets and prophetic people in the last couple of weeks—and I've prayed plenty.
Should we store up three years worth of food? Take all of our money out of the bank? Hide in a cave, praying for the best but believing the worst? Leave the country? What should be our response? I, for one, refuse to let a spirit of fear over take me, despite all the doom and gloom prophecies.
Cindy Jacobs, co-founder of Generals International, says first of all we are to obey the admonition from Scripture to not give in to fear. She is convinced the enemy wants to stir up panic and distress. But she is also convinced we have to stand firm, trusting God's faithfulness.
"I want to share with you what I am hearing prophetically at this moment. On a global level, God is changing the landscape of financial power. Some nations are going to find that their 'cash cows'—the commodities that have propped up their ideologies—are diminishing or being taken away. This will even begin to affect the terrorist organization, ISIS," Jacobs says.

"Is there going to be a total collapse such as we saw in 2008? If there is, I do not have a word about that. In past economic shakings, I have known in advance that a severe crisis would take place," Jacobs continues. "For instance, in January of 2008, the Lord spoke the word to me, 'There will be no more business as usual.' It could be that this time around the Lord has simply chosen to speak to other prophets and not me, and that is His prerogative."
Still, because so many voices—both prophetic and secular economic analysts—are pointing to extreme economic trouble this fall and even into 2016, Jacobs is praying hard through this season. I am praying with her—and so should you. She reports positive prayer answers after taking her prayer team to Wall Street to intercede for God to give us a course correction instead of a complete economic meltdown.
"As we move into the September/October months of the Jewish New Year and the appearance of the fourth blood moon, what do I know that I have heard? Historic changes will take place in the coming days that will be a prophetic catalyst for a great awakening. God is setting the stage for revival and harvest," Jacobs says. "I also have a strong admonition that we are in a time of hearts being tested—whether we will rely on our own strength and capabilities, rather than God's."
I stand in 100 percent total agreement. I'm hearing the similar things are so are the likes of Chuck Pierce, Bill Hamon, Barbara Yoder and Ryan LeStrange. I'll share more with you about the revelations in the days ahead, but for now, let's get to the question about storing food. Should we store up mass amounts of food?
I live in South Florida, where hurricane season has caused devastation so I do have food and water stored. But I do not have three years worth of dried food in my house. Even if I wanted to, I could not possibly store up that much food in my little beachfront condo. If the Lord has told you to do that, obey—but don't move out of fear. Jacobs says if we're hoarding out of fear it's not from the Lord.
"In truth, no matter what comes, we are called to be overcomers. There have been many dire prophecies, but they all are conditional upon a lack of repentant hearts. At the moment, there are a number of prayer projects and fasts being called by various ministries, and our Reformation Prayer Network stands with them as well," Jacobs says.
"God will be the same great God in the coming days as He is right now at this very moment. He is not about to forsake His children, no matter what transpires. He is vitally interested in our personhood, families, and futures. God is setting the stage to make some serious history, and I, for one, am not afraid of the future because He is my future—eternally!"
And I offer a hearty "amen!"

IDF Prepares to Fight ISIS Invaders

IDF Prepares to Fight ISIS Invaders

Tuesday, September 08, 2015 |  Israel Today Staff
How and when will the burgeoning ISIS forces in Sinai act against Israel? For the past year this question has troubled the Israeli intelligence community, which has struggled to provide a satisfactory answer.
The reason it is difficult to get a firm read on the situation is that this particular branch of ISIS is operating in a compartmentalized and largely unorganized manner in a huge open desert with the support of local Bedouin smugglers.
But even without firm intelligence, Israel’s famed Caracal Battalion is gearing up to take on the jihadist horde. Named after a small cat species whose sexes appear the same, Caracal is renowned for fielding both male and female combatants. In fact, some 70 percent of Caracal infantrymen are women, something ISIS reportedly fears.
Worst case scenarios for which the IDF is currently planning include ISIS attacks on the Nitzana and Kerem Shalom border crossings, as well as infiltrations into Israeli border villages.
Such attacks would presumably involve tens of ISIS gunmen, at least, and resemble recent assaults on Egyptian military bases in Sinai, during which dozens of police officers and soldiers have been killed. Like its parent organization in Iraq and Syria, the Sinai branch of ISIS is not interested merely in terrorist-style strikes, but has also attempted to occupy urban areas.
Israel has a fence along much of its border with Egypt, but that would only temporarily stall a determined ISIS assault. For that reason, Caracal, which has long patrolled this border, is today, and for the first time, undergoing intense urban warfare training just like the Paratrooper, Golani and Givati infantry brigades.
The mission is simple. If ISIS forces manage to penetrate an Israeli village, Caracal will strike first and strike hard.
Battalion commander Capt. Ksusha Levin said she will be among those to first greet the most brutal terrorist group in the world on its first visit to Israel. “I do not know when the attack will come,” she told Israel’s Ynet news portal. “We are stronger than the enemy, but we are preparing for worst case and extreme scenarios.”
According to the most recent estimates, ISIS forces in Sinai, which began as a local branch of Al Qaeda, number some 2,000–3,000 men armed with machine guns and advanced anti-tank missiles.

[RUDDICK SHIELD] HIGHER DIMENSIONS IN VIETNAM - Morris Ruddick

Morris & Carol Ruddick

[RUDDICK SHIELD] HIGHER DIMENSIONS IN VIETNAM

We're back in Vietnam. We've returned within a time in which many shifts and changes are taking place around the world. The weeks leading up to our departure have had serious challenges, but with them has come new opportunity.

Dire prognostications have surrounded the arrival of the Shemittah this month. But this time also is the time of year on the Jewish calendar leading up to the High Holy Days surrounding Yom Kippur/ the Day of Atonement.

A Time of Soberness and Vigilance

The month (Elul) preceding Yom Kippur is considered a time of sober reflection to judge yourself prior to a corporate day of humility and repentance. It is a time for searching your heart and drawing closer to the Lord.

Taken seriously, this is the Lord's scriptural design to bypass the impact from the abounding spiritual clutter, snares and swirls impacting the world around us.

So, in the face of the amassing global turbulence and uncertainty, we have responded to what has been as a Macedonian cry of the Vietnamese to us: to come back and help them.

Highlights

The final days of summer have been focused on wrapping up my latest book: "The Mantle of Fire." The subtitle is "God's Empowerment of the Joseph-Daniels and God's Economy." The theme is about the mantle of revival being wielded by God's marketplace practitioners.

Just prior to our departure, I had a special opportunity to speak to a gathering of Vietnamese Christians in Denver. We sense the future holding more in terms of our role in helping to mobilize the Vietnamese church in America.

Now with us back in Vietnam, Carol will be expanding the work she does with orphans.
In addition to a rigorous schedule of our God's economy workshops with new segments of the church, I will be starting an effort to co-author a new book on the history of the church in Vietnam since 1975.

Also, on the threshold of what we foresee as next on our agenda in Vietnam is an initiative that would mobilize successful Vietnamese Christian business owners to reach out to help the emerging generation (18-30). They would be mentors in the start of new business enterprises according to the principles of God's economy.

In short, we're reaching for higher dimensions of what the Lord has given us to do. Again, thank you so much for your prayer agreement and support.

Prayer Focus

1. Angelic protection and prayer shield against spiritual curses and backlash; for good health, connections and traveling mercies; and for our loved ones back home.

2. The anointing, wisdom, strength and protection for meetings, workshops and follow-up "mentoring/ biz incubator groups" to nurture spiritual leaders/ biz growth.

3. Prepared hearts of those attending; and the spiritual condition and maturity of the leaders God has prepared in putting these spiritual strategies into action.

4. A spiritual authority and presence of mind that eludes distractions, snares and pitfalls and releases the mantle of the supernatural to bring influence and change.
5. Carol's growing work with the orphans.

6. The work with the new book on the recent history of the church in Vietnam and for final details for the publishing of my "Mantle of Fire" book.

7. The implementation of new strategies: with funds, alliances and the launch of the "Timothy Project:" VN business people helping young adults to start businesses.

8. Strategic alliances with US-based supporting ministries and churches to maximize our Joseph-Calling and God's economy work in the West, Israel and Asia.

9. Leveraged prayer coverage, communications, as well as alliances for our next steps in mobilizing God's people in the marketplace, overseas and here in the US.

10. Supernatural recovery from jet-lag spiritually and in the natural; and catchup with administrative steps for developing NEXT STEPS for entering a new phase of this unique calling we're stewarding.

Understanding the Times

There have been many questions about the array of voices coming from within the Body about the impact of the Shemittah. God's purpose for the Shemittah has always been to enhance His blessings for His people. However, the completion of this 50 year-cycle is happening in the context of a world ignoring the ways of God and erupting into a state of turbulence and chaos.

From God's perspective, the focus involves two converging paths: Israel and the Church. While God has released judgment on the wicked, the flip-side of judgment is revival and restoration taking place among God's people. The restoration of God's order, as described in Isaiah 60 has not been seen at this level before in our generation.

"Darkness shall cover the earth and deep darkness the peoples, but the Lord will arise over you and His glory will be seen upon you." Isaiah 60

I've also pondered what I recall was taking place 50 years ago. It was also a time of significant change. Accepted values were under attack, during a time in which the US was escalating its role in the cause of freedom in Vietnam. Yet, the most significant spiritual happenings of that era did not happen immediately.

It was less than two years later in Israel that Israel had its very dramatic 1967-War. It was an unexpected "suddenly." That particular war in Israel resulted in Israel regaining control of Jerusalem. During that same time-frame came the birth of the Jesus Movement (the Charismatic Revival) and also the Messianic Jewish movement. God was restoring fervent prayer and the ancient biblical mysteries of Jewish roots to the church.

So, in understanding the times, I'm keeping my eyes on what's happening in Israel:  as Israel seems poised at the brink of still another war. If the 1967-War is an example, then something miraculous can be expected to emerge in both Israel and within the church.

Sometimes we expect to see change to happen immediately, while realistically big-picture things are set in motion that involve a process that is released and takes place over time. Nevertheless, underlying our expectations should be God's restoration.

Summary

In Vietnam, we have become a part of a process that has begun to surge because ofthe fervent prayers of a church very faithful in the face of being seriously persecuted for their faith. We have been assisting in advancing opportunity -- with God's proclamation of His people being the head and not the tail. The roots of our work have gone deep.

We are now entering higher dimensions in these efforts. Again and again, we find God's hand on all we've been doing, as we marvel at the timing and significance of the opportunity.

Thank you again. Your support and prayers for us are foundational in maximizing the opportunity, as well as confronting the spiritual warfare and challenges. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you. Your prayers have been and are instrumental in holding up our arms in these efforts.

With warm regards in Jesus,
