Three prominent US senators have introduced legislation to push President-elect Donald Trump to keep his promise to move America’s embassy to Jerusalem.
The Jerusalem Embassy and Recognition Act officially recognizes Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and obligates the White House to return the US Embassy to the Holy City.
The US, like most other nations, moved its embassy to Tel Aviv in the early 1980s to protest Israel’s annexation of the eastern half of Jerusalem.
The 1995 Jerusalem Embassy Act, which the new legislation closely echoes, also obligated the US government to return its embassy to the Israeli capital. But successive presidents have cited “national security interests” in order to indefinitely delay its implementation.
Trump vowed he would break with that policy and finally move the embassy.
But there is concern that once in office, pressure from various quarters will cause Trump, like some of his predecessors, to change his mind.
Senators Ted Cruz (R-TX), Marco Rubio (R-FL) and Dean Heller (R-NV) introduced the new legislation to insure that doesn’t happen.
Moving the embassy would “honor an important promise America made more than two decades ago but has yet to fulfill,” Heller stated.
Rubio added:
“It’s time for Congress and the President-Elect to eliminate the loophole that has allowed presidents in both parties to ignore US law and delay our embassy’s rightful relocation to Jerusalem for over two decades.”

The Passion Conference is an annual Christian event that draws students from around the world seeking to grow in their faith.

Donald Trump Was Born Exactly 700 Days Before Israel Became a Nation

If you go to any of the major search engines and ask when Donald Trump was born, you will be told that it happened on June 14, 1946. And then if you go to any of the major search engines and ask when Israel became a nation, you will be told that it happened on May 14, 1948. If you take both of those dates and plug them into the handy calculator provided by timeanddate.com, you will discover that Donald Trump was born exactly 700 days before Israel became a nation.
I was first alerted to this incredible fact by Daily Crow. Here are some other incredible numbers that link Trump and Israel from that same source.
Israel was 77 days old exactly 777 days after Donald Trump was born.
Israel's 70th birthday will come exactly 700 days after Trump's 70th birthday.
Donald Trump won the election on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's seventh year, seventh month and seventh day in office.
On top of everything else, Donald Trump will be 70 years, seven months and seven days old on his first full day in the White House.
As I noted above, Donald Trump was born on June 14, 1946. Moving forward exactly 70 years from that date brings you to June 14, 2016. Moving forward exactly seven months from that date brings you to Jan. 14, 2017, and if you add another seven days that brings you to Jan. 21, 2017.
Donald Trump will be inaugurated on Jan. 20 and will be president for part of that day, but his first full day in office will be on Jan. 21.
And as incredible as this may sound, this will happen during year 5777 on the Hebrew calendar.
In addition, it turns out that there are some very strange "coincidences" surrounding Mike Pence as well. Here is more great stuff from Daily Crow:
He is 57 years old and will take office in the Hebrew year 5777. The last minute of Mike Pence's 57th year will take place one minute before the 50th anniversary of Jerusalem (Pence was 50th governor of Indiana), 6/7 of 2017.
Pence was born in Columbus. Trump Tower is located .7 miles down 57th street from Columbus Circle, Trump's Vice President, Pence the 57 year old from Columbus.
Could it be possible that Donald Trump and Mike Pence both have special destinies ahead of them?
They are going to take office at a critical time for America. Barack Obama appears determined to cause as much chaos as possible on his way out the door, and we just witnessed the greatest betrayal of Israel in all of American history.
And in addition to U.N. Security Council Resolution 2334, we are also finding out that the U.N. has appropriated money for a database of Israeli companies that do business in the West Bank. According to former U.N. Ambassador John Bolton, the only purpose of such a database would be to punish those companies.
Lost amid the angry words that followed the Dec. 23 UN Security Council vote that critics called an American betrayal of Israel was a Christmas Eve appropriation of $138,700 to fund a database of companies doing business in the West Bank. The measure puts UN prestige behind the anti-Israel Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) campaign, say critics.
"The types of data they are talking about acquiring would be to form the basis for future sanctions against companies that did business on the West Bank," Fox News contributor and former U.S. Ambassador to the UN John Bolton told FoxNews.com. "That's the only purpose of it that I can see."
Fortunately, some members of Congress are already working hard to try to repair the damage that Barack Obama has been doing. For example, U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz wants to withhold funding from the U.S. State Department until the U.S. embassy is moved to Jerusalem.
Sen. Ted Cruz and two fellow Republicans are pressing the State Department to move the U.S. Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
Congress passed legislation in 1995 that called for moving the embassy to Jerusalem, but Democratic and Republican administrations alike have declined to enact the change, citing security concerns. The latest measure, introduced Tuesday as the new Congress convened, would withhold funding from the State Department until it makes the move.
Moving the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem is one of the 10 steps I detailed yesterday that I believe Donald Trump should take as soon as possible after becoming president.
Donald Trump has the opportunity to be the most pro-Israel president that we have ever had. But that is going to take more than just good intentions.

If the Obama administration had its way, the new year would have begun with a dramatic loss of religious liberty and an equally dramatic bastardization of existing law. Instead, U.S. District Court Judge Reed O'Connor issued a preliminary injunction on New Year's Eve stopping the Obama administration from denying the right of Catholic institutions to live by their religious tenets.
Texas, and other states, along with the Franciscan Alliance, and other religious entities, sued the federal government for violating basic religious rights. Judge O'Connor ruled that the Obama administration's regulation barring discrimination on the basis of "gender identity" could not be enforced. The defendants also sought to force Catholic institutions to perform, and pay for, abortions.
Joining the Franciscan Alliance as a plaintiff was the Christian Medical & Dental Society; the former was founded by the Sisters of St. Francis of Perpetual Adoration, and the latter is the nation's largest faith-based organization of doctors. Even the Obama administration did not quarrel with their central complaint: the regulation meant that their religious-based objections to gender transitions and abortions would no longer be honored.
Think about what President Obama tried to do. To begin with, he sought to force religious organizations to perform an operation whereby a man acquires the body parts of a female, and vice versa. Second, these same organizations would be required to kill babies in the womb. If they did not agree, they would, in effect, be shut down; all federal funds would be cut.
The Obama lawyers had to be told by a federal judge that they had no right to dismiss the Administrative Procedure Act; it does not permit attempts to contradict existing law and efforts to exceed statutory authority. They were also schooled on the meaning of the Religious Freedom Restoration Act, a law signed by President Bill Clinton making it difficult for the government to override religious liberties.
In a move that can only be called devious, the Obama team attempted to put a new spin on Title IX of the 1972 Education Amendments: the new regulation, Section 1557, invoked those provisions to mean that it is discriminatory to deny gender transition operations. But in 1972, sex discrimination simply meant that it was unconstitutional to discriminate against a man or a woman, as determined by their sex at birth. It said nothing, and implied nothing, about guys switching genitals.
Obama's Health and Human Services admitted that if it got its way, some procedures "related to gender transition" may be required even if not "strictly identified as medically necessary or appropriate." Which means that if Bruce Jenner elected to finish the job—he still has male genitalia downstairs—Catholic institutions would have to pay for it.
Never satisfied to shove secular ideology down the throats of the faithful, the Obama regulation promotes a new form of discrimination, one that bars discrimination on the basis of "termination of pregnancy." Thus did the administration summarily ignore the plain language of the religious and abortion exemptions provided by Title IX.
The Obama attorneys exhibited a very selective interest in Title IX. Previous court rulings have made it clear that Title IX does not prohibit discrimination on the basis of transgender itself; transgender is not a protected characteristic under the statute.
Where did Obama's attorneys think they got all these new rights? As Judge O'Connor pointed out, it wasn't from the Supreme Court: he explicitly said that when it comes to the Congress delegating sweeping powers to an administrative agency, it "has emphasized a common-sense approach."
That, of course, is the problem. The Obama staffers have no common sense. Moreover, this was a rank power grab.
Only deep thinkers void of common sense would maintain that it is normal for a guy to protest his manhood, or for a gal to acquire the anatomy of a man. It is meanness, not a lack of common sense, that explains why these same operatives seek to coerce faith-based institutions into performing and funding this abnormal feat. It is even worse to make them sponsor child abuse in the womb.
Obama's fixation on abortion rights and transgender rights is at one with his animus against religious liberty. Thank God he lost this round. Soon he won't be able to do any more damage. Hallelujah!

91% Of Trump's New US Congress Are Committed Christians

New research has discovered that an overwhelming percentage of the incoming president Donald Trump's congress are committed Christians. This comes as an encouragement to the many evangelicals who contributed to the Trump victory.
In the new, 115th Congress which began its first session in Washington yesterday, 91% describe themselves as Christian. More than half are Protestant and more than a third, Catholic. Contrasting this Christian majority, the 242 Democrats in Congress include 28 Jews, three Buddhists, three Hindus, two Muslims and one Unitarian Universalist, according to the Pew research.
President-elect Trump has vowed to protect the Christian faith in America and abroad, and is staunchly pro-life, seeking to defund abortion provider Planned Parenthood.

I remember sitting with a group of about 12 Israeli Messianic leaders in Jerusalem at the invitation of CBN’s Pat Robertson in 2003.
Pat had invited us to give him our perspective concerning the state of the Messianic Jewish body in Israel - its progress and challenges in that still nascent stage of bringing the Good News to our Israeli people.
Afterward, Pat asked us our opinion of George W. Bush’s presidency. We answered in general terms that we were happy to have a U.S. president who professed to be a Christian and who seemed to have some understanding of the importance and needs of the Jewish state.
Pat responded that he felt Bush was in for a great fall because he was the first president to advocate a division of the Land of Israel with the Arabs.
I remember I was stunned. True, the Book of Joel says that God will enter in judgment “on behalf of My people and My inheritance, Israel” with those who “have divided up My land.” (Joel 3:2) And everybody who reads the Bible knows God promised the land of Israel to the people of Israel multiple times. That’s why both the people and the land are called Israel in the Bible.
But, on June 25, 2002, President George W. Bush declared “…the United States of America will support the creation of a Palestinian state…”
There is no doubt in my mind that when God said, “I will bless those who bless you” (i.e., Abraham and his descendants), He meant it. It is clear to me that one of the principle reasons America is still the number one superpower in the world and is a nation where people all over the world dream of living, is the American people’s unique relationship with the people of Israel. And the backbone of this alliance has been the Bible-believing Christians together with the Jewish American community.
But as today’s younger generation becomes ever more secular (pagan), the love for the people who gave the world the Bible is weakening. Furthermore, as American Jews become more secular, their love for the state of Israel is also waning.
There is no other nation in the world that could take America’s place in its support for Israel emotionally and financially. If America’s support dwindles, Israel will still survive because the Bible says so. But at what cost? The Israeli media continually discusses the threat of Hezbollah’s 100,000 missiles trained on this tiny nation. Israeli military leaders are all preparing for the next war against Iran via Hezbollah.
And all Israel is waiting with baited breath to see what the new President Donald Trump will do.
