"Mary Smith" - Now Think On This by Steve Martin

Mary Smith

“For I satisfy the weary ones and refresh everyone who languishes." (Jeremiah 31:25, NASU)

The Lord is the God of Refreshment. He alone can satisfy the soul, and the deep longing within each of us, for more than what we can find apart from Him.

This is not my normal Now Think On This message, but it is an important one. Please read the following letter from one who happens to be my sister, Mary Smith, from Charleston, South Carolina, and discover for yourself how the power of God, with her testimony, can, and will further, bring life to you and others.

She sent it to Dr. Peter Wyns, Head Pastor of Antioch International Church, in Fort Mill, South Carolina, Pastors Jesse and Elizabeth Enns, and the staff.

Thank you, Mary Smith!

Dear Dr. Peter Wyns and staff,

It is with great joy I am writing to share with you and your staff on how the Lord used your body to empower and stir up my husband, Bob, and myself.

Last August a dear friend and I came to visit Antioch with my brother Steve Martin and his wife Laurie, and just soaked in the power and presence of the Lord. Speaking for myself I felt very dry for not having a cooperate time of worship that was in “spirit and truth” for a very long time. I went up for prayer with the prayer team and Ed and Suzanne Brigham hit the mark when ministering to me. I felt so encouraged and loved.

My husband and I came back in the spring and again we were filled with the anointing of God and a very strong stirring in our spirits.  Besides attending Sunday AM service we came to the Friday evening cooperate worship time and entered in with such gladness and joy. We went up for prayer and were ministered to by Ed and Suzanne Brigham.

My brother Steve had had a dream about a month earlier of Bob with a “serpent” after him and indeed we had been in warfare, particularly with Bob’s business. Ed spoke to Bob “that the Lord was cutting off the head of the serpent and empowering him in his walk with wisdom and in his worship time.” WOW!! (Bob had been a former worship leader in Charlotte and was just beginning to pick it up again and was about to be leading a corporate prayer meeting lasting up to 5 hours.)

Bob & Mary Smith, Steve & Laurie Martin

Well after that quickening in our spirits, Bob came back to Charleston and preached the best message he has ever given! I have started having prophetic dreams and my discernment has taken on a new level as well.

THEN I returned to the Women’s Conference with Paul Wilbur. I have loved Israel for a long time under the teachings of Derek Prince and have been blessed to have visited there twice with Steve. But at this conference, a supernatural understanding came to me about the One New Man.

I didn’t know what it was at first and tried to explain it to Steve. I asked him with tears rolling down my face, what am I supposed to do with this? (We are currently in a Baptist Church and the Lord has given us favor there.) Steve said, “Share it.”

I was captivated with Paul Wilbur’s story of what the Lord was doing during Shabbats in Florida and I loved hearing that his wife was very involved in this. I came home and suggested to Bob we start having Shabbats and invite people in and give them a “taste” of God’s feast and we started in!

Since then we have had over 3 Shabbats in our home (1 a month), and one Passover meal; each one here with over 9 people. The largest has been 19! We set a “banquet” table each time with our best china and crystal and really wanted to honor the Lord with our efforts. One meal we had 3 churches represented. We had special guests in to share their love for Israel and the response has been so encouraging with many wanting to know more.

I just finished the book Israel’s Coming Revival (Dr. Peter Wyns) and it is like starting all over in the Word, going deeper into the truths the Lord is revealing to me.

It is still very hard for me to put into words what He is revealing to me about the end times and our place with Israel and the Church.

I am very thankful for Antioch, for you, Peter, my loving brother Steve, Liz & Jesse, and the whole staff on their love and commitment to serving God and His people.

Thank you so very much and we look forward to all of our return visits and to the gathering in October with Paul Wilbur.

Love thru Christ,

Mary L Smith

With this testimony, and with what the Lord is doing in and through others, I encourage you today to give yourself afresh to His purposes today. I also would encourage you to read a recent testimony and prophetic word given to me, which I entitled, "The Baby is Being Birthed".
May you be refreshed today in your spirit, soul, and body, through the love and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, Yeshua HaMashiach. Purpose in your heart to do so, and see what He will do.

Now think of this,

Ahava and shalom,

There is Great Breakthrough Upon the Writers by Lana Vawser Identity Network

There is Great Breakthrough Upon the Writers by Lana Vawser

May 12, 2017 Identity Network

There is major breakthrough upon the writers right now. Those of you who are writing manuscripts, the Lord is releasing winds of acceleration upon you and these manuscripts are going to be birthed faster than you could ever have imagined.

I had a vision and I watched as the Lord released these winds of acceleration and His angelic hosts to minister to you, and cause these manuscripts to come forth faster than you could imagine. Anything that has been attempting to block this manuscript, any warfare, is falling to the wayside as the winds of acceleration fall upon you and the Lord continues to breathe upon His message in your manuscript.

There is a greater ease that you will find as the anointing upon you to write is significantly increasing. There is a breakthrough anointing over you as you write to move past the hindrances and move into the final stages of birthing.

The Lord Showed Me the Destiny Room of Heaven Again

Yesterday, I released a word on the Destiny Room of heaven. As I pondered this word for the writers the Lord showed me the destiny room in heaven again. He showed me the encounters that are going to open up for the writers as He opens up and reveals the destiny room and for some in new ways.

In a vision I saw the Lord taking many into this destiny room through visions, visitations and prophetic dreams and as He led them in, I saw big screens all around the walls of the room. As the writers went in one by one, He pressed play on a remote and a "trailer" began to play. It was a trailer for their manuscript, but this trailer was not how THEY saw their book, it was how HE saw their book. It showed His excitement,

His vision that was so beautifully crafted and displayed within these manuscripts. It also showed what HE was going to do THROUGH the manuscripts.

I watched as the writers wept and wept, being shown a "glimpse" of His heart contained in their manuscript and the people that were going to be saved, healed, set free, delivered, encouraged and brought to life through their writings. I watched as the writers fell at His feet weeping and out of their mouth came the words "I praise you Jesus! I praise you! It's SO MUCH BIGGER than I imagined! It's SO MUCH BIGGER than I ever dreamed."

The Lord bent down and grabbed their hands and with tear filled eyes, full of joy, full of love, His face beaming with such delight and His eyes shouting how proud He was of them, He spoke: "THANK YOU for pressing through, THANK YOU for continuing to steward the message that I have given you and lean into Me to write all I asked you to. Through the fire, through the storm, through the darkness, you did not give up.

You continued to remain faithful to the assignment I gave you in this writing. I am breathing My spirit upon this manuscript and many shall come to life, come to know Me, be set free, healed and delivered by My love and My Spirit. I am going to do MORE through this manuscript than you could ever imagine. Great joy shall fill your heart as you see what I am about to do. You will see the process has been all worth it."

This is Your Time

I then saw manuscripts laid out on tables in this room of destiny. They were perfectly placed in frames, and I noticed the words written all along the frames. The words were purity, humility, surrender, integrity. As I looked at them instantly the atmosphere was filled with the sense that these books were framed by the purity, humility, surrender and integrity of the writers. These manuscripts were written by writers who have kept the, "main thing, the main thing." They have stayed true to the message He gave them, and their eyes have been upon Him and such deep surrender and reliance on Him, worshiping Him all the way through the process.

I watched as Jesus walked along these tables and He had a scepter in His hand. He placed the tip of the scepter upon each manuscript and it came ALIVE with favor. As I looked at each manuscript I saw a quick glimpse of networks, doors and connections of favor that the Lord had drawn up with His hand.

He turned to each of the writers and He spoke, "Be at rest, be at peace with this manuscript. I have already decreed the exact strategic places, networks, doors that need to be opened and hands these manuscripts need to fall into. I have taken care of it all. Rest, trust Me. I am going to get My messages out far and wide. Great unprecedented, radical favor is being decreed over these manuscripts. Don't try and strive and make anything happen. What I am going to do with these manuscripts will leave you in awe of what I can do!"

"The process of these assignments I have given you with these manuscripts has increased your anointing to write. You will see an increase in revelation, clarity and insight upon you to hear Me and for further writing assignments. You have transitioned to a whole new level.

Multiple births are upon many of you and the supernatural ease and anointing I am releasing will see you write even more books than you imagined. It may not make sense in the natural and for many of you look impossible, but through the empowerment of My Spirit, you will do what you thought you could not do. Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit will be your testimony!"

Joel C. Rosenberg's Blog: Trip report from Amman: I’m so encouraged by what I see God doing

JETS-Joel

Joel C. Rosenberg's Blog

Trip report from Amman: I’m so encouraged by what I see God doing in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Here’s why.

by joelcrosenberg
JETS-graduationOn Sunday night, I returned home to Israel from a very encouraging four-day trip to Jordan.
The purpose was to visit the Jordan Evangelical Theological Seminary (JETS), at the invitation of its founder and president, Dr. Imad Shehadeh. A Jordanian national, Imad is a remarkable Arab believer who graduated from Dallas Theological Seminary (and currently serves on the board of DTS). He has a deep passion for studying and teaching the Word of God and training others to “preach the Word, in season and at out” and it’s clear that the Lord has truly given favor to this man despite enormous challenges he and his wife have faced over the years.
Until this trip, Imad and I had never met, only communicated by phone and email. So I was enormously grateful for his invitation and eager to get to know him and his colleagues.
In many ways, this trip was an ideal complement to the visit I made to Jordan earlier this spring. On that five-day visit, I focused primarily on better understanding how Jordan’s monarch and government leaders are handling the refugee crisis and various security challenges, particularly the threat of ISIS. On this trip, I was able to focus on understanding on how the Jordanian Church is doing and how they are training future pastors and ministry leaders.
I traveled into Jordan with some dear friends, Rev. Munir Kakish and his wife, Sharon. Munir is a Jordanian citizen, but grew up most of his life on the West Bank. He is a pastor in Ramallah and also runs an orphanage. For the past decade, he has also served as chairman of the Palestinian Evangelical Council of churches and Christian ministries. It was very encouraging to spend so much time with them and get their take on the health and growth of the  Church in the West Bank and Gaza as well in Jordan. (plus, they took me to some wonderful restaurants in and around Amman!)
Together, we had a great time meeting with Imad and other Jordanian pastors and Christian leaders and hearing their perspective on what God is doing in Jordan and throughout the region these days. We toured the beautiful JETS campus on the outskirts of Amman (some of which is still under construction.) We attended a banquet with students and faculty to celebrate JETS’ 25th anniversary, and we had the joy of attending the graduation ceremony.
I was deeply impressed and enormously encouraged by what I saw. I learned that the Church in Jordan is growing steadily and there are now between 10,000 and 15,000 Evangelical Arab Christians. The gospel is being preached throughout the country both by pastors and individuals sharing their faith with neighbors and even more extensively by the ministry of numerous Christian satellite TV networks -- broadcasting the gospel and Bible teaching in Arabic -- that can be seen all throughout Jordan.
And starting 25 years ago, the Lord began raising up in JETS a doctrinally solid, Bible-centered theological training center for pastors and future ministry leaders. The school has the support of all the Evangelical denominations in the country and is producing quality graduates, well grounded in their faith.
I’ve posted quite a few pictures from my trip on our "Epicenter Team" page on Facebook. I hope you'll take a look through those.
Here, too, is a more detailed snapshot of what God has been doing JETS over the last 25 years:
  • JETS was founded in 1991.
  • The first graduating class was in 1996.
  • On Saturday, August 20, 2016, 38 students graduated -- this was the 20th cohort of students completing their studies at JETS since it was founded.
  • Since its inception, JETS has 285 graduates with degrees up to a Master of Theology (Th.M.).
  • Many more students have taken classes and received theological training without being in a degree program. This includes special programs for American students taking semester-long courses, as well as students who participate in non-formal training.
  • The average enrollment on campus is 120 students in degree programs.
  • Thirty-four students have applied to the new Doctor of Ministry program in the Fall of 2016.
  • A growing number of students receive their JETS education through on-line distance learning programs. This is a growing trend.
  • Graduates are serving in 10 Arab countries, as well as Arab communities in 11 non-Arab countries.
  • 60% of the churches in Jordan are pastored by JETS graduates.
  • 95% of Jordanian churches include JETS graduates in their ministries.
  • At the beginning, Dr. Shehadeh was the only Jordanian national to be teaching at the seminary. Today, however, 8 of 17 resident faculty are Jordanian nationals, and most have Ph.D.’s.
  • JETS also has a pool of at least 24 adjunct and visiting faculty from the West.
  • The JETS library contains 37,000 volumes.
Given the volatility in the region, please continue praying for the people and leaders of Jordan. Please pray for the Church in Jordan. And please pray for those involved in JETS, that the Lord may continue to do a great work in and through the faculty, students and graduates for His glory. Thanks so much.
