Christians Persecuted by ISIS: 'God Will Use This Hell to Perform a Miracle'
3/20/2017 CBN NEWS
The Islamic State has pushed its way across Iraq and Syria, devastating entire cities and families. This hasn't stopped faithful believers from trusting God to restore their lives.
"We see destruction all around us," Ryan Mauro, a national security analyst, told Breitbart News after walking through the ancient city of Qaraqosh.
While ISIS fighters have wreaked havoc everywhere, they say their favorite prey are Christians. They have toppled down Christian homes and left church sanctuaries as burnt skeletons of the building they once were.
However, Christians remain firm.
"On a few occasions, I heard the line, 'We don't worship a God of buildings. Our God is in here,' while pointing toward their hearts," he said of local Christian.

Some say their faith is even stronger than it was before.
"The ones who I walked around Qaraqosh with were adamant that their faith is even stronger than it was before and vowed to reopen the burned church and fill it with an even bigger crowd than before," the national security analyst explained. "To them, God will use this hell they've endured to perform a miracle."
While they do not know what their future holds, many Christians and fighters on the frontlines are looking to America to help.
"The Kurds, the Kakai Kurdish minority and the Christians directly and passionately asked me to relay a request to President Trump: for him to personally come visit with them and for the U.S. to provide political and military support. A safe zone for the persecuted minorities should immediately become an official objective of U.S. policy," Mauro said.
In the meantime, they will continue praying for the day their cities will be restored.

5777: The Year Of The Clashing Of Swords - Lance Wallnau

Lance Learning

God is doing something in this season...

Passion is a strange phenomenon. Less than 48 hours ago I sat in my hotel room in Jerusalem. I took a break from a training I was doing with First Ladies, Diplomats, and members of the House of Lords - all amidst terrorist attacks happening around me that left 5 wounded and 2 dead.

As I flipped on the internet and took in the current news happening in America I could not help but get all fired up! The devil is bent on dismantling the Christian vote in 2016 and Pastors and conservative leaders are themselves defecting from the battle. It’s madness!

Did you know evangelicals make up 27% of registered voters? Add devout Catholics and it is 37%! Together we are the largest, most vibrant, and most dynamic single constituency in the electorate today; a larger force than the Latino, the African-American, and all Unions combined.

BUT nearly 14 million of us are thinking of sitting this election out!

I grabbed my cell phone and recorded a live video rant on Facebook to address this. In less than 48 hours that video is nearing 3 million views!Someone just notified me the video was sent to Hannity for a Fox interview.

My friend, God is doing something in this season… You and I have an assignment to save this Nation!

Before flying out this morning I had to fill in for Chuck Pierce who could not attend the Jerusalem gathering. He was supposed to speak for Yom Kippur, and reveal the meaning of the new Hebrew year 5777. This forced me to do some thinking. The Rabbis teach that Yom Kippur is the day that God looks at us and makes judgments and decisions for the coming year at Yom Kippur.

As I prayed for you, my children, our nation, this election, and the course of America, something struck me about the significance of this new year, 5777.There are three 7's in this Jewish new year. Interestingly, the number “7” in Hebrew is the letter “zayin” which represents both the number “7” and the word “sword.”

What we are looking at in 5777 is, “The year of supernatural grace (5) to engage the clashing of swords (7).”

The clashing of heaven and hell will show up in the conflict of ideologies. This collision of kingdoms has already started.

Someone gave me prophetic word today that, “there are spirits being dispatched to put blindfolds on the minds of Christians.” We are so easy to manipulated through media mind control: sound bites, talking heads, and an onslaught of progressive liberal ideologies baked into our entertainment.

“Zayin” means more than just “sword” or “weapon.” It also connects with a modern Hebrew word "mazon," meaning "food" or "sustenance," and "nourishment," both coming from the same root as Zayin.

5777 is the year of the clashing of swords! We are taking on giants just like the children of Israel did. I choose to believe what Caleb said in Numbers 14:9,“Do not rebel against the Lord, nor fear the people of the land, for they are our bread; their protection has departed from them, and the Lord is with us. Do not fear them.”

Caleb saw the giants in the land not as obstacles but as bread. I believe that as you take on your Giants and defeat them they will become nourishment for you! What you bow to will increase your bondage but what you overcome will increase your power!

The enemy will be bread for you IF YOU FEED YOUR SPIRIT the Word of God. Jesus says in Matthew 4:4: “But he (Jesus) answered and said, it is written, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.”

The Word of God, is the bread you eat that becomes a sword in your mouth! Inthis new year, 5777, God will open up His word to you and reveal a “sword” in the scripture! When you see it – grab it. Speak what God gives you. Prophesy and proclaim what you see. Expect your utterance to authorize angelic activity through your prayers!

If you have not gotten hold of my book “Gods Chaos Candidate – Donald J. Trump and the American Unravelling” grab it NOW! It is available as an e-bookor in print. I expose what is at work in the subterranean depths of Satan’s counsel against America and reveal important information about the next chapter of American history.

Read it and write a review! If we can get this book into the hands of a million Christians, we can impact the nation - before it is too late.

Your Friend,
Lance

The Way To Go - Now Think On This by Steve Martin

The Way To Go
Now Think On This
Steve Martin

John Eldredge, a popular author from Colorado, came out with a book entitled, Wild At Heart (Thomas Nelson, 2001). I loved the book! While it spoke tremendously to the inner soul of men, I think some women also read it just to see what happened to “their man” after he put it down. I recommend it to anyone.

Since then, John has authored and published at least 14 more. I think I have read at least nine of them. There is just something about his writings that so encourage men to be men. He even has a book or two especially for women!

For my oldest son Josh’s wedding anniversary in 2015, I gave him one of Eldredge’s most recent books, Fathered By God (Thomas Nelson, 2009). At that time I hadn’t read it myself, but knowing the quality and insight that John shares, I had no hesitation in doing so. Up until a few years ago, I knew Josh had never read a book completely through, so I carefully chose what I suggested or gave him (other than my own books of course!) Josh is now 37 at the time of this writing.

I share that bit of factual news because Joshua told me once he had never even read a book through high school. Oy! He had since then worked to pay his way through school, married his beautiful bride Chelse, has diligently been employed at his current job for 14 years, fathered and is still raising four of our grandchildren, and is a very responsible man of the Lord Jesus. Way to go Josh!

After he read the book, Josh sent me a text saying he loved the book, and thought of me as a “sage.” My response, not knowing the contents of the book, back to him was, “OK. What is a sage?” I’ll leave the rest at that. I guess both you and I will have to read the book!

Sons are knowingly or unknowingly looking for examples in which to model their lives. In this American culture of thinking that the young have all the answers, and old men are just “old men”, they have not rightly been given, nor received on their part, the training, experience, and understanding of what it means to follow after the Lord, and knowing His ways.

Without fathers (over 33%, or 24 million children in America had only a caring mother in the home, according to the U.S. Census Bureau), young kids have not had that needed grown man in their personal life, to train them to live for the Lord, be a responsible young man, work a respectable job, find a good woman as their wife, raise a family, or give back to society from which they owe much.

They do know how to play a video game hours on end. Wow, where is that going to get them? They have missed it. We are the ones responsible too for that

God the Father intended from the very beginning that one generation would procreate and raise the next generation. One man married to one woman has always been His plan. This “we know best” current theology will never improve, or eternally replace, His perfect plan. His heart has always been to have men be men and women be women. That is the path we must stand strong for and walk on, as believers in the Lord Yeshua (Jesus).

Our sons and daughters, whom we have brought into this world, need our wisdom, guidance, input and firm hand to point them in the right direction. We are not to let them find it on their own. That belief has not gotten them anywhere of lasting value. We must be the ones as their lighthouse, raising them and then letting them go in the grace and purpose of their eternal Father.

I give thanks for responsible fathers and mothers who have trained up their children in the way they are to go. These young ones will be those the Lord will anoint even more so to take the Gospel to their own generation.

And He will also save many others, those currently on their way to hell, who are living in an earthly one here, by demonstrating His miraculous salvation and freeing them also to stand before the gates of hell, taking back others on their way there.

Proverbs 22:6 truthfully reads, “Train up a child in the way he should go. Even when he is old he will not depart from it. (NASU)

For all this, we as believers give you thanks, Father God, for showing us the way we have gone, and need to continue to go.

Something to think about.

Love you,

Steve Martin

Prophecy: You Can Sound the Alarm, But ... Jennifer LeClaire

Do you believe in miracles?
Do you believe in miracles? (Flickr )

Nine months ago, I heard in my spirit a strong and clear word from the Lord. This encounter was at a stadium prayer event that changed my mind about the supernatural—and signs and wonders have been following me ever since.
I'll always remember it. It was January 24, 2015 at The Response prayer rally in Baton Rouge. Thousands of people were crying out to God for our nation when I heard the words below in that still small voice I so love. I've waited nine months to release them on this platform because I wanted to gain a deeper understanding of what the Lord was saying—and I was waiting for His timing. I believe the time is now. Here is the prophecy:
"My blood is sufficient. My covenant is sure. 2 Chronicles 7:14 is truth. You need not operate in fear but embrace the power to cleanse that's inherent in repentance. I want to cleanse America. But it starts with purifying your hearts.
"The church in this hour must herald the message of repentance in the same way as preachers in the Voice of Healing movement heralded the message of healing. Then will you see the manifestation of My presence and the wells of the supernatural will be unlocked and many who are lost will be restored to My love.
"It starts with the message of repentance. This is the message that I need you to shout from the rooftops in this hour. Everything the church needs to fulfill her call in this hour flows from a contrite heart. You can sound the alarm but without repentance it will fall on deaf ears.
"Many are entering eternity every day without My Son because they have not heard this message. Some of them are sitting in the church right now. Start there with this message and it will position the church to rise up in My power for My glory."

When I asked the Lord how the voice of healing preachers heralded the message of healing, He gave me three points: repetitive, passionate and scriptural.
The Voice of Healing preachers were repetitive. You heard many of the same core messages about God's power to heal and deliver over and over again in these tent meetings. The Voice of Healing preachers were passionate. Think of A.A. Allen jumping up and down and Jack Coe's exuberant singing. And, of course, the Voice of Healing preachers were scriptural. These preachers knew that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word (see Rom. 10:17) and they kept their messages in line with the Word of God.
Two-Sides to One Word
After much prayer, I've come to the conclusion that there are two sides to this prophetic word: We need to repent in the sense that we need to ask forgiveness of our sins and stand in the gap for our nation. Indeed, we need to see repentance in the church—widespread repentance. But it's not just changing the way we think about sin—and turning away from it—that is required in this hour. We need to change the way we think about the supernatural.
When Jesus rebuked the cities of Chorazin and Bethsaida for not repenting after they saw the mighty miracles He did (see Matt. 11:20-21), that word repent is the Greek word "metanoeo." Metanoeo means "to change one's mind, i.e. to repent; to change one's mind for the better, heartily to amend with abhorrence of one's past sins."
The spirit of religion, along with a lukewarm mindset, prayerlessness and the tradition of men, has all but killed miracles, signs and wonders in our churches. Paul saw this threat in his day, which is why he gave his spiritual son Timothy this advice about those in the church that "have a form of godliness but deny its power." In 2 Timothy 3:5 he said, "Turn away from such people."
We need to turn away from thoughts that limit God in our lives. We need to turn away from a powerless expression of the gospel. We need to turn back toward faith in God to heal the sick, cast out demons and, yes, even raise the dead. God is a God of miracles! Jesus walked on water. Jesus healed a man born blind. Jesus healed the deaf and dumb. Jesus fed many thousands of people with a few loaves and fishes—more than once. Jesus raised people from the dead. Jesus healed a man's withered hand. Jesus turned water into wine. Jesus healed a paralytic.
Getting Back to the Great Commission
I could go on and on—and it wasn't just Jesus. The apostles and the disciples in the book of Acts did miracle after miracle—even special miracles so that handkerchiefs which Paul had touched were brought to the sick who were then healed (see Acts 19:11-12). And Jesus told them, "Truly, truly I say to you, he who believes in Me will do the works that I do also. And he will do greater works than these, because I am going to My Father. I will do whatever you ask in My name, that the Father may be glorified in the Son" (John 14:12-13).
The supernatural is part of the Great Commission! A lost and dying world doesn't want to engage with a lukewarm religion. In fact, it's obvious that the world finds lukewarm Christianity tasteless. When Jesus issued the Great Commission in Mark 16, He was very clear that "these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover."
We need to repent—to change the way we think about the supernatural. We need to believe God to walk in His supernatural power. People are dying and going to hell because the power of the gospel has not been demonstrated. Religion in many cases has replaced relationship. It's time to press into what God wants to do in this hour—and I believe He wants to restore the supernatural to the church in a convincing way. Like Paul, inspired by the Holy Spirit, said: "For the kingdom of God is not in word, but power" (1 Cor. 4:20).

Six Superstitious Myths About the Devil - J. LEE GRADY

Six Superstitious Myths About the Devil

The devil himself
There are many myths about the devil, including one that he has horns. (iStock photo)

Fire in My Bones, by J. Lee Grady
Americans can't seem to get enough of horror movies. Every October, in time for Halloween, Hollywood releases a creepy new crop of films about masked serial killers, flesh-eating zombies, crazed vampires and demon-possessed children who crawl out of television sets to attack us.
This year's horror fare includes Annabelle (about a red-haired doll possessed by an evil spirit), Devil's Due (about a demonic pregnancy resulting from a voodoo ritual),Ouija (about teenagers who conjure ghosts by playing a board game) and Horns, (about a murder suspect who begins growing horns and taking on other devilish characteristics).
No thanks. The world is scary enough—I don't need a horror movie soundtrack to go with it.
Many horror movies are quite religious (last year's The Conjuring was about a Christian couple who did exorcisms), but Hollywood rarely gets it right when it comes to the devil, demons and the spiritual realm. The result is that many people today have wrong ideas about Satan—and Christians often subscribe to these kooky concepts because we haven't studied God's Word carefully. Here are six of the most common myths about the devil:
Myth No. 1: The devil is everywhere. God is omnipresent, but the devil doesn't have that kind of power or influence. Jesus said He saw Satan fall from heaven like lightening (Luke 10:18)—referring to the moment when our enemy was cast out of the highest heaven. Satan posts his demons in various regions, but the devil is not watching you 24 hours a day. And if you are in Christ, you are hidden in Him (see Col. 3:3) and the devil cannot detect you on his radar.
Myth No. 2: The devil has horns. Hollywood has perpetrated the idea that Satan has horns, a red cape and a pitchfork, but this is based on medieval folklore, not the Bible. In fact, the Bible says the devil is a master of clever disguises, and that he prefers to appear as "an angel of light" (see 2 Cor. 11:14). Without spiritual discernment, most people don't even recognize that the devil is working because he is so cunning and attractive. The devil often shows up in religious meetings, and he even deceives Christians. He also loves to work through charlatans who steal money and live in immorality but know how to quote Scripture.
Myth No. 3: The devil is afraid of crosses, holy water and religious icons. In the typical Hollywood vampire film, Count Dracula is repelled by a crucifix and demons scream in torment when a priest utters a Latin phrase. Don't be fooled. Satan is not afraid of religious people. Satan is quite comfortable hanging around religious buildings as long as the people inside are not preaching the true gospel. That's why Paul the apostle warned us that in the last days people who at one time followed God would fall away from the faith, "paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons" (1 Tim. 4:1). Some of the most demonic heresies were hatched in church buildings when Christians turned away from the truth to follow the devil, the father of lies.
Myth No. 4: The devil is to blame for all the evil in the world. A lot of Christians have the idea that the devil caused them to sin. "The devil made me do it!" No, the devil was probably nowhere near. The Book of James says we must own the responsibility of our sin. "Each one is tempted when he is carried away and enticed by his own lust" (James 1:14). Don't blame the devil for what you did. Take responsibility and repent.
Myth No. 5: The devil is all-powerful. We Christians ascribe to Satan way more power than he actually has. The Bible says in Colossians that when Jesus died on the cross, He disarmed satanic powers and made a public spectacle of them (see Col. 2:15). I love the way The Message translates this verse: "[Jesus] stripped all the spiritual tyrants in the universe of their sham authority at the Cross and marched them naked through the streets." Satan's authority has been taken from him, and all he can do now is lie, steal, kill and destroy—much like a renegade terrorist army—until the church finishes the job of preaching the gospel to the world. And Satan knows his end is near.
Myth No. 6: The devil lives in hell. Popular artwork often shows the devil running his diabolical operation from a headquarters in the midst of the flames of hell. But that is not a biblical concept. Ephesians 2:2 describes Satan as "the prince of the power of the air" because he runs his show from a remote heavenly location. The good news is that he won't be there for long. Jesus said hell has been prepared for the devil and his angels (see Matt. 25:41), and Rev. 20:10 says after the final judgment, God will throw Satan into the lake of fire and brimstone where he will be "tormented day and night forever and ever." That is the horror movie the devil fears most.
If you are a believer in Christ, you have no reason to fear the devil. We should not be ignorant of Satan's schemes, and you should develop discernment to know where he is working, but you do not have to be afraid of him. If you are strong in faith, aggressive in prayer and filled with the Holy Spirit, you are a threat to Satan's kingdom. The apostle Paul's words in Romans 16:20 remind us of our victory: "The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet."

Anything Goes. NOT! - Now Think On This by Steve Martin

Anything Goes. NOT!
Now Think On This
by Steve Martin

“And this know thou, that in the last days there shall come perilous times, for men shall be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, evil-speakers, to parents disobedient, unthankful, unkind, without natural affection, implacable, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, not lovers of those who are good, traitors, heady, lofty, lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God, having a form of piety, and its power having denied; and from these be turning away…”
2 Tim 3:1-5 (Young’s Literal Translation YLT)

There used to be good, well-established standards in life. It used to be where everything was “black and white”, and you could count on grounded “Do this. Don’t do that” principles to help guide you in day to day decisions each are called to make.

In the past, if a law was in place, you didn’t break it. If the item wasn’t yours, you didn’t take it. If the photograph was not good to look at, well, you just didn’t look at it.

Not so anymore. Or so it would seem in this American and other worldly cultures that are so prevalent now. Anything goes, or so we would be led to believe. Many now think that you can do what you want to do and live with whom you want to live with. You can say whatever you want to say, and never have to own up to the fact that it was just simply wrong. “Must have been the previous guy’s fault, or the way my parents raised me” is an acceptable excuse.

You would think that all is OK, that you won’t be held accountable. If you are caught, you can just say, “I made a mistake,” give a press conference, and keep the job you had. Or if you are asked to step down from a position of authority, whether in the government, both national and local, or in the sports spotlight, or Lord forbid, even in some church settings – you will still get full pay, as others around you, that you yourself have put in place, will soften the sin and lengthen the lie. They will report to the public that you have been placed “on a leave of absence until it is all worked out”, acting as if it never happened in the first place.

You can even assume that because that guy is doing it, they won’t tell on you, because most likely they are doing it too. “You do your thing. Let me do mine, and we will all get along just fine.”

Is that the way it is? Is that the way it was meant to be? Is there not a God in heaven who established a righteous way of living, and will hold us accountable for it, based on His goodness and not our own unrighteousness, or on our warped mindset that “whatever will be will be?”

There certainly is! There certainly is a righteous way of life, of living, of having moral guidelines set in place, which is to our benefit if we walk in them. There certainly is the eternal God, whom the Bible declares is absolutely true; the heavens above declaring that which is absolutely true of His glory; the history of Israel, which absolutely declares and proves His promises fulfilled – there certainly is the God of Glory and Righteousness, Who will judge and hold each responsible for his life lived on this planet!

Those who have known the commands of the Lord, which still remain in solid stone, even if the ungodly judge sitting on the court glibly says otherwise…we need to be the ones who stand up and proclaim His Name. We need to be the ones who say to our children, “This is the way, walk in it.” We need to be the ones who don’t just sit by the well and watch the world go to hell.

The Holy Spirit in me compels me to speak up. The holy commandments, given to keep us living with peace, joy and righteousness, need to be kept established in our hearts, and then lived out for the world around us to see.

I for one am not going to trust in some wrong teaching that some rapture will take me out of here and let the nations perish without the knowledge of the Living God, the Creator of All. We have been called to be the light on the hill, the proclaimer of His Good News, the ones who are the hands and feet of our Lord, to take and make a clear and sound message in all the areas of life we inhabit and have been providentially placed in.

Let us rise up, empowered by the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit), and sound the alarm that death and destruction are not the way it has to be. We have the Truth. We have the Life. We have the Way. It is Jesus, Yeshua Himself, giving us all that pertains to eternal life. It is meant to start in this life too.

And if we get martyred in the process, as least we will have died with our boots on, and didn’t shrivel up watching some wasted TV program to pass the hours away.

We serve the Living God of Israel. We serve the King of kings and the Lord of lords. Through His grace, mercy, and love for all, let us be the ones we have been called to be, and let the world know it too.

Now think on this,

Steve Martin
