Jewish Terror Victim Meets His Arab Savior

Jewish Terror Victim Meets His Arab Savior

Wednesday, November 12, 2014 |  Israel Today Staff
Moshe German nearly lost his life earlier this week when a mob of rioters attacked his car at the entrance to the Arab town of Taybeh. Tragedy was narrowly averted by the brave and kind-hearted action of local resident Majdi Baloum.
A day after the attack, during which assailants torched German’s car, victim and savior had the opportunity to meet face-to-face in an encounter arranged by Israeli newspaper Yediot Ahronot.

Meeting in Taybeh not far from where his near-lynching occurred, German told Baloum:
“You don’t understand how moving this is. I was nearly killed while driving on this same road yesterday. …I thought about my wife…my sons… I thought my family would lose me. I tried to hide…but the mob continued to attack me, and in that moment you came up to me yelling, ‘come, come!’ …You saved me. I found it hard to comprehend what was happening, but I realized that you were afraid for my life. …Did you understand that you were saving my life?”
Baloum responded by comforting German. “Be at ease, friend. You and I are the same. Would you not do the same if I were in danger?” he asked.
Baloum, a 37-year-old father of five, gave his own recounting of that day’s frightful events:
“I saw a large number of youths gathering, shooting fireworks and throwing concrete blocks and stones. …Many came with their faces covered and I realized something bad was about to happen. When I saw they were [attacking] your car, I knew you had little hope of survival, and that you needed to be rescued, and fast. I raced toward you in my jeep and saw you trapped in the car. There was no time to lose. I opened the door and shouted for you to get out. I remember your face and hands were covered in blood.”
“I’m happy I was able to save you and return you to your family,” Baloum reassured his new friend, adding that he “wished the violence [between Arabs and Jews] would end already.”

An Arab Pastor Speaks Out on Gaza - Shmuel Aweida

An Arab Pastor Speaks Out on Gaza

Thursday, July 24, 2014 |  David Lazarus  ISRAEL TODAY
The following is an open letter from Shmuel Aweida to all those "peace activists" rising up against Israel. Listen carefully, Awieda is an Israeli Arab Christian pastor who knows of what he speaks!
Dear so-called "peace-seeking people", "pro-ceasefire people" and "peace and reconciliation activists",
Forgive me for not taking your nice dreams and peace demonstrations and wishes so seriously... People who didn't care about the suffering people in Gaza under the Hamas regime for years can't really be considered morally superior to any IDF soldier that's on the ground there now. You might seem to be better and kinder, but not really... Sorry...
If you really care, then free Gaza from Hamas and other Islamic jihadist organizations! How can you feel sorry for the innocent children hurt accidentally by Israel when you don't care that the same children grow up to learn to hate intentionally? You claim to feel sorry for the hungry children while ignoring the poison they are fed every single day at Hamas and Fatah schools and on TV.
How can you feel sorry for the women crying now when you didn't care that they've been humiliated, discriminated and even raped and killed regularly for years?
Here's another thing I don't get:
These kind, sympathetic, peace-loving people who automatically want and pray for a ceasefire in Israel's war(s) against the evil, anti-Semitic, anti-human, blood-thirsty terrorist organizations like Hamas (not against the Palestinians) - they make Israel never finish "the job" and then on the top of it all, their governments and NGOs send billions of dollars of "aid" to this corrupt evil system.
And guess what happens time and again - instead of feeding the hungry with food, they feed themselves with weapons. Instead of teaching the children math, they teach them hate and jihad against the Jews. Instead of building houses and hospitals above the ground, they build terror-tunnels under the ground.
The tunnels found in the past days have cost hundreds of millions of US dollars to build! The IDF blew up millions of your money, dear nice people in the naive West!
I'm not saying that Israel is without any fault here, but sometimes I really wonder if the Palestinians' best friends are in reality the ones that maintain their oppression under this Islamic regime?
I simply don't get it! Someone here needs to get a better grasp of reality!
As much as I hate this war and the price that's being paid by our dear soldiers and the innocent civilians on both sides, I hate the fact that it's necessary! May the needed pain of war bear good fruit of peace for all! May the Lord of Hosts and Armies give us His Shalom!
There has been quite a lot of activity in the social media in the past month. I was disappointed and frustrated of some my Facebook friends and the level of naiveté and blindness with regard to the real situation and the roots of the conflicting the Middle East.
Do they really not see what the Hamas is all about or what Islam really is? Are they all so blind to what's happening around us in Syria, Iraq and all over? Don't they see what Hamas is doing to the poor population that lives under this terror daily? I don't know why I keep being surprised...
To my anti-Arab friends:
But what really surprised me was that, with regard to this operation in Gaza, the hatred, revenge and racism that filled the [Facebook] statuses of those who support Israel.
They expressed such joy over going to war and causing destruction (a joy I'm glad our leadership doesn't have). The fact they quoted Bible verses didn't make it any less stinking. So I threw those people out of my Facebook just like I did with others that posted pornography and other disgusting stuff. Trash is trash is trash.
Praying that God may protect our soldiers who are serving us and giving their lives for us - proud of the moral code of the IDF and the legitimacy of this necessary operation. Praying for those making the tough decisions - but with much more humility.
I guess we need to pray that we'll all guard our hearts from hatred, revenge, racism, pride and other destructive things that do not honor us, nor the God of Israel.

Dear friends,

I am honored to be a regular author now on Spirit Fuel. The Spirit Fuel network is a Christian content network with the genre niche of the supernatural. The website address is: http://www.SpiritFuel.me

I faced my terror by night. It was afraid of me. And the arrow that flies by day. It missed me. You may wonder what my terror and arrow was. Just terror and an arrow. That’s all it was. ( Psalm 91:5 )

Jesus’ birth takes place at night. ( Silent Night, Holy Night ) The darkest night in history, filled with terror. It moved satan to kill every two year old boy and younger in Bethlehem. He dreads heaven coming to earth. But the Father whispers, “Can’t touch Him!” As believers satan targets us also. If it’s the darkest time in your life, be encouraged. Jesus is about to show up. I find Him in my darkest moments. That’s when I’ve gotten to know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings. Fear not, He will come and save you.

In a recent movie the lead actor battled untold suffering and terror. The end was a bloody finish. Her youthful, battered body laid lifeless, turning the theatre into a morgue. After what seemed an eternity, her eyes popped open and she lived. I found out later she was favored to live through her ordeals so she could star in the next movie series. Looking back over my life, I can relate to this. Yes, I have survived everything so far and am an overcomer. God has favored me to live through the hardest times. You too. He has another series of our life to be lived.

Our times are in His hands. ( Psalm 31:15 )

Walking On Giants

In Charleston, South Carolina, a little boy about four years old walked over, looked up at me and said, “You are little!” I said to the pastor standing beside me, “What did he say?” The pastor said, “It sounds like he said, “You are little!” It made the boy feel good since he was so short. But it humbled me. It made me think. We should look at our biggest giant or mountain and say, “You are little! You are little compared to the God inside of me!” It will humble any mountain or giant to fall. What mountain or giant will the Lord raise you up to stand on top of this coming year? What stormy seas will He cause you to walk on?

On the sea of Galilee, famous for storms, I asked the Lord a question. “Lord, are we near the place where Peter got out of the boat and walked on the raging sea before he fell?” The Lord answered me. “What do you mean Peter fell? This is the sea where Peter walked!” As though He didn’t remember Peter falling. Peter sank but he walked on water. The eleven sat in the boat living in regret. The terror of that storm paralyzed them. They missed that once in a lifetime opportunity. Sinking is better than sitting. When life is over we won’t regret taking a risk for God and sinking. We will regret sitting. And God won’t remember us sinking.

The Stage Is Being Set

When it looks like it’s impossible for me to win, God is setting the stage for something greater. For many the stage is just being set. The curtains have not yet been cracked open. God is still moving behind the scenes to place us front and center. That’s why we haven’t been heard from yet. Isn’t it the stories in the Bible of the people who looked like they would never make it, that builds our faith the most? The Lord writes their heroic exploits beginning with them knowing the agony of defeat. Silent nights of terror with trouble becoming their friend. No hope of ever fulfilling their purpose. Be encouraged. God is not through writing your story.

Blessings,

Steve ShultzFrom the desk of Steve Shultz:

This is quite an encounter that Bill Yount recently had with the Lord... powerful!
I won't give much away and let you read it for yourself... be excited about your region/location as Bill shares here:
"I saw the fire of God falling on every denomination wherever there was a smell of smoke from a flickering flame of love gone out long ago. People in all denominations will be visited by a rekindling, as well as so-called Spirit-filled churches."

Blessings,
Steve

Bill Yount:

Bill YountTransported

I woke up shaken. I could not believe I was at home. How did I get back here? I had just been transported physically from a place far away. I had heard about people being transported, but I would laugh it off. My laughter has been silenced by what I experienced. It was the real thing.
I stood in the valley of a highway.

Suddenly, what appeared to be a huge locomotive train barreled down the highway straight toward me. The wheels shaved the concrete and its power shook the earth in proclamation, "I don't need tracks!" I was paralyzed by the terror of it as highways and overpasses crumbled in its wake. Mountains were shaken and surrendered their strength and majesty. All the earth was vulnerable to this all-inclusive power. I was astounded: My whole world was shaking and yet I was still standing.

I was then transported inside a house on a high hill where a fire had suddenly broken out. I quickly turned the thermostat and gas controls off. The fire seemed to be contained, but I was mistaken. In the distance, which I believe to be the city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the tops of tall buildings crumbled and contagious fires raged relentlessly throughout the streets. Then multitudes of cities throughout the earth followed suit. I was then awakened by the terror.

After several weeks of earnest prayer, the Holy Spirit helped me to understand this experience of being transported and provided the interpretation.

"Son, I Am the Trackless, Unstoppable Locomotive"
God is the trackless, unstoppable locomotiveThe Lord was saying, "Son, I have allowed you to experience this vision in person so you would know the full impact and certainty of it. I am the trackless, unstoppable locomotive. I am coming in a way that many of My people will not recognize as Me. Some will be offended.

"The terror you experienced as I came near was the fear of the Lord being released in the earth. The fear of the Lord brings a great shaking. Some people will turn from Me and many more will become deeply committed. This shaking alone will bring in an unprecedented harvest of souls. The crumbling highways and overpasses were man-made structures built in order to reach Me. With great force I will shake those man-made spiritual structures and religious spirits that have prevented Me from coming to them."

ElijahList Prophetic Resources

He said, "You have been faithful in disliking religious spirits, but you have fallen short in loving religious people. I love them. I want to deliver them. Not loving them invites a religious spirit into your life."

I saw the fire of God falling on every denomination wherever there was a smell of smoke from a flickering flame of love gone out long ago. People in all denominations will be visited by a rekindling, as well as so-called Spirit-filled churches.

A bruised reed He will not break, and a smoldering wick He will not snuff out, til He has brought justice through to victory. Matthew 12:20

"My Fire Is Beginning To Invade These Mountains And Bring Them Into My Kingdom"

God's fireGod continued saying, "The mountains you saw caving in represent the seven mountains of the kingdoms of this world. The Church, family, education, government, media, arts and entertainment, and business and finances.

My fire is beginning to invade these mountains to redeem and bring them into My Kingdom. The reason you couldn't stop the fire in the house is because the fire is of Me. I am coming this hour through the fires of adversity and affliction to bring whole families back together again into My Kingdom. Their troubles have come to bless them.

"The pride of man in what he has made are the fallen, far-off city structures. Pride is crumbling. The contagious fires of God raging in the streets of cities are the certainty of the vision in its influence."

Sidewalks and gutters in the streets were now burning with unquenchable fire falling upon the homeless and red light districts. Grave clothes were being burned off those bound in prisons and spiritual cemeteries.

There's a whole lot riding on this train.

Blowing the Shofar Ministries

Bill Yount has been a member of Bridge of Life in Hagerstown, Maryland, for the past 33 years where he is now an elder and a home missionary. He is currently an advisor at large for Aglow International. Bill faithfully served in prison ministry at Mount Hope for 23 years and now travels full-time, both in the U.S. and internationally, ministering in churches and Aglow circles.

"Humility and humor" characterize his ministry as he brings forth a fresh word that is "in season," proclaiming the word of the Lord! The shofar (or ram's horn) is often used in his meetings, breaking the powers of darkness over regions, churches, and households. The shofar represents God's breath blowing into the nostrils of His people, reviving them and awakening the lost. Many of God's messages, which Bill ministers prophetically, come out of his everyday life with his family and friends.

Israel stands with, helps Boston in hour of need

Israel stands with, helps Boston in hour of need

Wednesday, April 17, 2013 |  Israel Today Staff

Israel on Tuesday sent its deepest condolences to the people of Boston after two terrorist bombs killed three people and wounded 183 others at the finish line of the Boston Marathon a day earlier. There were many children among the casualties.

"Yesterday, a day of enjoyment in Boston was turned into a day of terror," said Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. "We send our condolences to President Obama, the American people and the bereaved families.

On this day and on any day, Israel stands shoulder-to-shoulder with the American people. We are partners in freedom and in seeking a better future for all humanity."

Israeli humanitarian aid organizations offered to dispatch assistance, and Israel Police Chief Yohanan Danino and his senior staff departed for a scheduled visit to Boston to meet with FBI and other US law enforcement officials.

Danino will work to further law enforcement cooperation between the two nations and provide Israeli expertise in the investigation into the marathon bombing.

By contrast, members of the Palestinian organizations Hamas and Islamic Jihad reportedly danced and handed out candies in the streets of Gaza after hearing about the spilling of American blood. Islamists in neighboring Jordan told local media that the Americans deserved such terror.

Many Muslims were "happy to see the horror in America," Mohammad al-Chalabi, the leader of a Salafi group in Jordan, was quoted as saying.

Meanwhile, the chief of emergency services at Massachusetts General Hospital, the hospital that treated the bulk of those wounded in the Boston Marathon bombing, credited Israel with preparing his staff to effectively deal with such an scenario.

Dr. Alasdair Conn said that two years ago, he had invited Israeli experts to train his staff on handling mass casualty situations. That training was put to good use on Monday, and Massachusetts General was widely praised for the way it handled the situation.
