Whether you like it or not, whether you choose or not, or how much we pray or not, We, in Israel, still find ourselves in a bloody conflict with the Arabs.

Sending our children to schools and kindergartens with concerns that the bus will explode on the way.

Or some madman will ram his car into those waiting at a bus station at full force and crush them sending their bodies flying in all directions.

We travel the streets - whether to a supermarket, school, or work, or just to meet with friends - and some crazy kid could pursue us with a knife indiscriminately plunging it into someone's body as long as the victim is Jewish.

And life here become more bizarre as time goes by.

People walk around with guns, tear gas, and those without will use any means - a club, a rolling pin or even a selfie-stick. Anything in order to defend onesself from monstrous attacks.

In the last week people were seen walking the streets with sticks, looking in all directions making sure nothing suspicious appears or even an attacker.

As the days passed one saw fewer and fewer people on the streets, the malls were empty, markets empty and even cafes were empty.

People only did necessary errands and business and quickly returned to their homes or offices their "safe" places.

Even kindergartens and schools went on strike because parents felt that there was not enough security. Parents volunteered to do guard duty shifts. Some even refused to send their children to school.

The question is have we become accustomed to the situation?

This is a bizarre question, because on the one hand, yes, we have become accustomed to these difficult situations. On the other hand we want to live.

For God's sake let us live in peace, we really do not want war.

We love and revere life, work, fun and togetherness with family and friends.

All we want is to live a normal quiet and simple life.

We are fed up with becoming accustomed with the situation, we are tired of this madness.

The worst madness is always accompanied with the cry "Allah HuAkbar" - "Allah is Greatest" heard as each terrorist commits his attack.

I ask, "what kind of god sanctifies such things? What kind of god demands such hatred? What kind of god?"

Then comes the news from the world which seems to twist the knife in the wound and just exacerbates the bleeding wound.

Terrorists are presented as the unfortunate victims, those protecting lives as the killers.

Everything upside down.

It's frustrating and disparaging.

How many strikes can one absorb? How many?

Israel has become accustomed to severe beatings.

And yet Israel still remains merciful and compassionate.

And this is the truth even if the world says otherwise.

And your role is to be attentive.

To be ambassadors and show your love through your actions.

I really mean that - I have no other country...

Israeli Chief Rabbi's Car Stoned by Palestinians - ISRAEL TODAY

Israeli Chief Rabbi's Car Stoned by Palestinians

Tuesday, October 20, 2015 |  Ryan Jones  ISRAEL TODAY
Israel’s Sephardic Chief Rabbi, Rabbi Yitzhak Yosef, visited Joseph’s Tomb on the outskirts of biblical Shechem (now known as Nablus) on Sunday evening to examine damage caused to the holy site the week prior by Palestinian rioters.
Yosef told Jewish Orthodox media that “what happened here is simply the actions of ISIS. What [kind of] people can destroy such a holy place? We, the Jewish Nation, guard their sacred sites, and their mosques, and they without shame treat such a holy place as Joseph’s Tomb this way?”
Joseph’s Tomb, the traditional burial place of the biblical patriarch and a prominent site of Jewish worship, was severely damaged by a fire set by a Palestinian mob late last week. Various reports suggest Palestinian Authority police not only did little to stop the destruction, but actually participated.
It wouldn’t be the first time the Palestinians had damaged and destroyed Joseph’s Tomb, which Israeli Jews are permitted to continue visiting under the currently signed peace agreements.
As the chief rabbi was leaving the site, he and his escort were set upon by a Palestinian stone-throwers. Yosef and his people were unharmed, but damage was sustained by several of the vehicles.
Amazingly, almost none of this was deemed newsworthy by the mainstream international media. One can only imagine the headlines if Jews burned a prominent Muslim holy site and then stoned one of the world’s leading imams when he came to inspect the damage.

The Truth About 'Disappearing Palestine' - ISRAEL TODAY

The Truth About 'Disappearing Palestine'

Tuesday, October 20, 2015 |  Tsvi Sadan  ISRAEL TODAY
The "Palestine" maps shown in the newsroom of MSNBC on October 17 represented what the pro-Palestine crowd believes to be the "disappearing Palestine." These maps, often seen at "free Gaza" demonstrations, are a gutter tactic aimed at manipulating the masses by fictitious visual aids.
Following protests, MSNBC reluctantly apologized by saying that "in an attempt to shed light on the geographic context of the Israeli-Palestinian issue, we aired a map that was factually wrong." Even if sincere, this apology can't undo the impression these maps left on millions of viewers that pay little attention to the well-documented anti-Israel bias exercised by MSNBC.
The "disappearing Palestine" maps shrewdly misrepresent the word "Palestine," which until 1948 was a territory ruled by Great Britain. This is why from 1917-1948, people dwelling in Palestine – both Jews and Arabs – were given certificates identifying them as Palestinians. This is why Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir could say that "we [Jews] are all Palestinians. Want proof? I still have my old [Palestine] passport."
This is why "disappearing Palestine" actually represents the gradual British retreat from their original plan designating all of what is now Israel and Jordan for a Jewish state.

The map above shows how the British envisioned the borders of the future Jewish state in 1920. In an attempt to pacify its Arab allies, however, just two years later these borders were dramatically changed to what actually represents present-day Israel. The map below shows the new 1922 British borders designated for the Jewish state.

Dramatic as this change was, "Jewish Palestine" was reduced even further by the "partition plan" to roughly half the size of the 1922 borders. The map below shows the 1947 UN Partition Plan, where the white areas represent Jewish territory.

The Arab rejection of the Partition Plan sparked the 1948 War of Independence, which left the West Bank in Jordanian hands. The map below shows that the borders of Israel from 1948-1967 were slightly larger than those of the Partition Plan.

Following the Six Day War in 1967, the Jordanian West Bank, Egyptian Gaza and Syrian Golan Height were conquered by Israel. Following the 1993 Oslo Accord, Israel agreed in principal to shrink its borders once again back to those that existed until 1967, but instead of returning the West Bank and Gaza to Jordan and Egypt, respectively, a brand new Arab state would receive the land. The map below shows Israel's future borders in light green.

Palestinian/MSNBC propaganda says the exact opposite simply by misrepresenting Mandate Palestine as a Palestinian state that supposedly pre-existed Israel. If anything, therefore, "disappearing Palestine" represents nothing less than the disappearance of Israel. Since Arabic is written from right to left, the proper meaning of these maps becomes obvious. The yellow areas in the MSNBC map represent the envisioned gradual disappearance of Israel.

Jewish Evangelism: Speaking in Tongues Is a Key - Sid Roth

Jewish Evangelism: Speaking in Tongues Is a Key

I believe God has given me an effective ministry in Jewish evangelism because of my faithfulness in praying in tongues.
If you had X-ray vision and looked inside yourself, would you see a gigantic spirit?
Paul understood how to develop his spirit. He said in 1 Corinthians 14:18, "I thank my God that I speak in tongues more than you all."
The man God used to write most of the New Testament spoke in tongues more than any other believer. Why? He wanted to be led by the Spirit, not the flesh.
"For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God" (Rom. 8:14). Paul also realized that speaking in tongues edified his spirit man. "He who speaks in an unknown tongue edifies himself" (1 Cor. 14:4). The word "edify" in the dictionary means to build or increase. And the meaning in Greek is best understood as charging up a dead car battery!
I was saved in the 1970s during the charismatic renewal movement. Jonathan Bernis, now head of Jewish Voice Ministries International, and I would pray together in tongues for hours. I do not believe he or I would have such large Jewish ministries today if we had not prayed in the Spirit!
We literally prophesied our future. 1 Corinthians 14:2 says, "For he who speaks in an unknown tongue does not speak to men, but to God. For no one understands him, although in the spirit, he speaks mysteries." By praying in unknown tongues, we prayed the mysteries of our future with 100 percent faith. These prayers were perfect because they came from God. And since it was "unknown" tongues, the devil did not know how to try to abort God's plan!
Your very life could be dependent on praying in the Spirit. When I pray in tongues, I release angels to thwart the schemes of the devil. My mind may not know what the devil has planned, but the Spirit of God in me does! I am convinced I was able to lead my Orthodox Jewish father into the kingdom on his deathbed because of praying in tongues.
A voice from heaven is shouting, "I desire that you all speak in tongues" (1 Cor. 14:5). You are meshuga (Hebrew for "crazy") if you do not pray in tongues at least one hour a day! Don't be meshuga! — Sid Roth

FIVE US CONGRESSMEN TAKE PART IN BIPARTISAN FACT FINDING MISSION TO ISRAEL DESPITE ONGOING VIOLENCE

FIVE US CONGRESSMEN TAKE PART IN BIPARTISAN FACT FINDING MISSION TO ISRAEL DESPITE ONGOING VIOLENCE
"THE ISRAELIS HAVE BEEN ATTACKED, LIED TO AND ABUSED. THEY ARE NOT THE PROBLEM AND AMERICAN PEOPLE ARE NOT HEARING THAT MESSAGE" REP. ALAN LOWENTHAL, D-CA

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

JERUSALEM- (19/10/15) A bipartisan group of five US congressmen spent the last week touring Israel, despite the daily terrorist attacks and deteriorating security situation. Rep. Alan Lowenthal D-CA, Rep. Jim Jordan R-OH, Rep. Scott Garrett R-NJ, Rep. Raoul Labrador R-ID and Rep. Mark Meadows R-NC traveled across the country to learn the facts behind the headlines and pledge their support to the Jewish state in these challenging times. The educational trip was sponsored by Proclaiming Justice to the Nations and hosted by Yes! Israel.

Highlights of the jam-packed schedule included briefings with Prime Minister Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yaalom, a strategic helicopter tour with the Israeli Air Force, a visit to the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hebron, meetings with Israelis and Palestinians in Gush Etzion to discuss co-existence, a visit to the war- torn city of Sderot, as well as tours of ancient Shiloh, Ariel University and high-level briefings at the Israeli Knesset with a range of Israeli lawmakers. The congressmen also spent time connecting with ex-pats along the way, especially at a Town Hall meeting in Jerusalem that attracted around 200 Israeli-Americans.

During the town hall meeting last night, which was held at the Inbal Jerusalem Hotel, the congressmen expressed their impressions from their trip:

Rep. Alan Lowenthal declared, "Whether it is the distortion about the Temple Mount or settlements, the hatred goes way beyond that. This has been the historical denial of the Jewish people to have their own homeland. I think that the critical issue is the historic denial and refusal to acknowledge Israel as a Jewish state... the Israelis have been attacked, lied to and abused. They are not the problem. And the American people are not hearing that message."

Rep. Mark Meadows commented, "What was interesting to me was the amount of conflict and potential conflict that was being avoided (in Hebron) because we had IDF troops there going through and defending. What has become normal for many of you who live here is very abnormal for us. When you see people carrying weapons, travelling with security, you take it as everyday life. The IDF has shown great restraint."

Rep. Scott Garett stated, "Each trip is an eye-opening and heart confirming experience, from a personal and religious point of view. We have a true love for Israel...Administrations come and go, but when it comes to the house that I serve, it has always been a strong bipartisan experience in support of Israel. "

Rep. Jim Jordan explained, "Every time we come here, there is always one consistent message: The best way the USA can help Israel is for America to staystrong. When America is strong, the world is safer and better. "

Laurie Cardoza-Moore, president of Proclaiming Justice to the Nations, the US based Christian organization that sponsored the trip, commented: "There is no better way to learn about Israel and the Jewish people than walking in the Land of Israel, meeting the people and understanding the threats faced by Israelis on a daily basis, no matter how many times one visits the Holyland, there is always more to learn."

Ruth Lieberman, President of Yes! Israel Mission commented: "Our friendships are strong. Our values are shared. We use these trips to strengthen resolve and educate, to deepen relationships and work together for Israel. This mission, of course, was affected by current events - from the morning they touched down - but we stuck to our schedule and the Congressmen were powerfully moved by the difference between what the media says how it really is on the ground. They also pushed back against State Department criticism this week, ridiculously accusing Israel of using 'excessive force' in fighting this wave of terror."

Lieberman added: "The Yes! Israel Mission is bipartisan, pushing to support Israel unequivocably, and our friend Alan Lowenthal agreed: 'It was a very powerful experience. I saw things I never knew. I will always stand up loudly in support of Israel."

Lieberman went on to stress: "The Prime Minister continues to encourage our Yes! Israel missions with PJTN, to see the land and meet the people. We are proud to work with the leaders of Israel and in Congress on behalf of a stronger relationship."

The mission of Proclaiming Justice to The Nations is to educate Christians about their biblical responsibility to stand with our Jewish brethren and Israel against the rise of global genocidal anti-Semitism. Whether it is in the halls of the United Nations, the U.S. Congress, our state legislatures, or our local school boards, PJTN is committed to reminding Christians to stand against this growing threat.

Government Bows to Muslim Pressure to Close Churches in Indonesia

Government Bows to Muslim Pressure to Close Churches

Join us on our podcast each weekday for an interesting story, well told, from Charisma News. Listen at charismapodcastnetwork.com.

Authorities in Indonesia's conservative Aceh province said on Sunday several Christian churches would be shut down this week, just days after a mob burned down a church, killing one person and injuring several others.
Tensions have been high among the ethnically and religiously diverse population of Aceh, raising the risk of further religious violence in Indonesia, the world's most populous Muslim population.
The vast majority of Indonesians practice a moderate form of Islam and Aceh is the only province to adhere to Islamic Sharia law, putting it at odds with the rest of the country.
Aceh was granted special autonomy as part of a 2005 agreement to end decades of separatist violence, which allowed it to implement Sharia law.
Christian groups in Aceh Singkil district, where the churches stand, had been consulted on the matter, authorities said, and members of as many as six churches had agreed to dismantle their houses of worship after admitting they did not have the required building permits.
"All houses of worship, regardless of the religion, need to be in accordance with the laws of Aceh," Bardan Sahidi, a member of the provincial parliament, told Reuters after attending a meeting of political and religious figures, including representatives from the religious affairs ministry in Jakarta.
Local Christian groups were not immediately available for comment.
The move comes after Muslim residents, including members of the hardline group Islamic Defenders Front, demanded that the local government shut down 10 churches, citing a lack of permits.
A mob of hundreds of people burned down a small church in Aceh Singkil district last week, forcing thousands of Christians to flee to neighbouring villages.
One Muslim member of the mob was killed, police said last week, adding that at least 10 people had been detained on suspicion of inciting violence.
The government has since deployed 1,300 police and military personnel to the area, with hundreds more on standby, to patrol the streets and stand guard outside churches that dot the small palm oil plantations in the district.
Christian residents of the run-down village attended a service on Sunday right next to the charred remains of their church, under the guard of about a dozen armed security personnel.
"At the moment, things are calm but we are on standby for any further incidents," said Saladin, spokesman for Aceh police, adding that evacuees had since returned to their homes.
