Cindy Jacobs: "Our Daily Bread Prayers" and "Rejoice By Faith, Even in the Eye of the Storm!"

The Elijah List Mar 13, 2017

Steve ShultzFrom the desk of Steve Shultz:
Cindy Jacobs is a highly respected and trusted voice in the Body of Christ...and she knows a thing or two about praying down the heavens and seeing great spiritual breakthrough as you'll read about below.
I really appreciate her sharing her "daily prayers" with us as I think they are very important...and I encourage you to add these as well to your own daily prayers over yourself, your family, ministry and communities. Scriptural prayers are powerful!
She also includes an awesome prophetic word for us too...no matter what we are facing:
The Lord would say to you, "The enemy is troubling your emotions," and I see right now there's a great swirling around many people, even there's a lot of violence in the heavens where you are and many of you are at a crossroads and you don't know what to do. I want to pray and say, "Peace" in the midst of your storm.
Enjoy these powerful prayers points from Cindy and her decrees over our lives! (To Subscribe to the Elijah List go here.)

As a prophetic intercessor, my regular prayer time usually involves listening to the Holy Spirit and praying what is on His agenda, moment by moment; however, there are a few things I've chosen to pray for every single day. I start my mornings with them and often return to them again before I close my eyes at night.
This list has grown over the years, as I have learned and grown. I hope these prayers will encourage you and impact your heart the way they continue to impact mine.
1. Psalm 91
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust." Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler And from the perilous pestilence. He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler.
You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday. A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you. Only with your eyes shall you look, and see the reward of the wicked.
Because you have made the LORD, who is my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place, no evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; for He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways. In their hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone. You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, the young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.
"Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name. He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him, and show him My salvation." (Psalm 91:1-16; NKJV)
Many years ago, as I was writing my book, Possessing the Gates of the Enemy, I studied about the power of praying Psalm 91. I was particularly struck by outstanding stories I read of God's supernatural protection over soldiers as they recited this psalm on the battlefields of World War I and II.
According to a few commentators, some Jewish rabbis believe that this psalm was intended to be read in case of demonic attacks. I have embraced their insight and find myself turning to these words every time it feels like the enemy's activity is increasing.
Each day, I pray this psalm over my family members by name, over our home, and over our GI staff and their families. I include other people whenever the Lord leads and even extend it to geographic areas at times.
Last fall, I was preaching during a time of pretty intense spiritual warfare, but I had become slack in claiming these promises. I ended up falling in Jerusalem and fracturing my foot! It was a sobering reminder to be more diligent, especially in seasons of very important spiritual assignments.
2. The Peace of Jerusalem
We are Scripturally commanded to pray for the peace of Jerusalem (Psalm 122:6). In fact, there is a promise that those who do so will be blessed and those who do not will be cursed. The Lord loves this important city and wants all of its inhabitants to be safe and blessed.
3. Power for Miracles and Souls
"But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth." (Acts 1:8; NKJV)
This passage promises the power of the Holy Spirit. One day, it occurred to me that, since I long to see a new level of anointing as I minister, I should pray this verse daily.
I definitely saw an increase in power as I was faithful to declare these words. In fact, shortly after I started aggressively pursuing the promise, I was in Buenos Aires, Argentina, ministering to the sick, and powerful creative miracles broke out.

Metal rods, pins, and screws were turning to bone, or God was healing people's bodies so they didn't even need the metal anymore. For instance, people with rods down their backs could suddenly bend and touch their toes! You should have seen the look of joy on their faces!
4. The Prayer of Jabez
"And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, 'Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!' So God granted him what he requested." (I Chronicles 4:10; NKJV)
Years ago, after I read The Prayer of Jabez by Bruce Wilkerson, I decided to do my own study on this passage. At first, I had a bit of a hard time praying that God would bless me. It seemed rather self-serving and not very humble, but gradually, I realized that if I was blessed, then I could bless many other people.
Perhaps the most noticeable shift in my life from this prayer is the amount of favor I have received. Many doors of influence opened for me worldwide, including significant doors with heads of state.
5. The Power to Get Wealth
"And you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day." (Deuteronomy 8:18; NKJV)
Theologically, I always believed this verse was for me; I knew that if I had wealth, then I would be able to help establish God's covenant in the earth. But I had never systematically decreed for Mike and me to receive the power to get wealth. (Photo via Pixabay)
Since this is a promise given to God's people under the Abrahamic covenant, I realized I needed to claim it for my life. I started doing this around six months ago, both personally and for the ministry. Since that time, our staff has been moving on a new level of ideas to release blessings to us.
These five prayers are not merely ritual or routine. They have become daily bread—God's promises to sustain me through all times and seasons.
I am encouraging you to ask God for your own daily bread! What are the promises of God that you need to claim each and every day?
You will be delighted at the new level of authority, favor, protection, and answers you will receive from Him as you faithfully decree His Word over your life!
Prophetic Word: Just Rejoice by Faith!
This is a prophetic word by Cindy Jacobs about God's will for you to advance:
The Lord would say to you, "The enemy is troubling your emotions," and I see right now there's a great swirling around many people, even there's a lot of violence in the heavens where you are and many of you are at a crossroads and you don't know what to do. I want to pray and say, "Peace" in the midst of your storm.
I want to decree over you that: I bind those powers of darkness causing confusion. I bind the powers of darkness that are troubling you; and the Lord is saying to you, "I am putting you in the eye of the storm." Even though there's storm clouds all around you, even though there's many decisions that you have to make, the Lord says, "I'm going to give you a fresh spirit of wisdom and revelation. You're going to know what to do." This is the word, Don't panic.
Don't think that you're going to go down, because the Lord says, "It is not My will for My children to go down. It is My will for My children to advance." God says, "Speak to those emotions and say to them, 'Be still.' Stand and resist this swirl of oppression around you, for it is coming from the outside, more than the inside." This is an oppression that satan is trying to put on your emotions, but know this, the great I Am, is greater than the enemy's voice. In the name of Jesus, I speak, be still and I forbid you, enemy, in the name of Jesus, from causing so much depression and oppression of people's emotions.
Now, this is what you need to do, by faith: Just rejoice. Sometimes I'll get on my piano and I'll just play. I mean, I'll be crazy at times. I might dance around my house. Nobody has seen me dance around my house, right? Whatever it is, so come on, rise up. Tell your soul to hope in God. You're going to have a breakthrough, I'm telling you. Don't doubt it. Significant spike in visitors to our websites was caused by the most amazing reason! - ONE FOR ISRAEL

Dr Erez Soref President of  ONE FOR ISRAEL
Shalom!

Yesterday we celebrated the Feast of Purim, which is the time that we read the scroll of Esther, and remember how God amazingly saved his people destruction - yet again!
The name Esther sounds like the word "hidden" in Hebrew, and the word for scroll (megila) sounds like the word to reveal - Purim is a story of secrets revealed, and truth and goodness conquering evil and falsehood.

In that spirit, we are delighted to tell you that our evangelistic websites and videos just got a great deal more exposure, as they were broadcast on the evening news a few days ago!
The news item informed the whole of Israel, on prime time television, where to find all the information they could want on the best kept secret of all: Yeshua the Messiah.

FREE NATIONWIDE ADVERTISING - ON PRIME TIME TV

"Israel News Company" (Channel 2 News) is the largest television news company in Israel. Last Wednesday, on their 6pm newscast, just as families sit down for dinner, they had a five minute section about Eitan and Moti's evangelistic videos on YouTube, and our www.iGod.co.il website "which defends and promotes Christianity".

They were interviewing a Jewish lawyer who is trying to sue YouTube for $200,000 for sponsoring our videos (good luck with that one...) which is really why we've made it to the news. But there is no such thing as bad publicity! The whole country is now familiar with how to search for and find our videos and websites, and we have seen a great surge of people visiting our sites.

They showed a few seconds from one of Eitan and Moti's videos on the news, and praised the high amount of views our videos receiving. Ironically, the news anchor lady who is a religious Jew herself, said on our behalf (and against the lawyer) that, "There are much worse things people need to worry about on YouTube than these videos". How about that?!

Here is just one example of how God is using the situation. This text message came in from a man called Joseph:
"I saw on the news that they spoke about your advertisements on YouTube, I thought to myself 'how fun for you guys to be receiving this crazy free publicity!!` So I decided to check out your videos out see what it's all about, and this is how it all started..."

Joseph said he's now addicted to our videos, and has already watched more than 20! Please pray for him and for everyone who watched the newscast, including the company's staff. These are awesome times indeed!

PURIM AND THE BOOK OF ESTHER

Purim commemorates the narrow escape of the entire Jewish race from the threat of annihilation, and the courage of Queen Esther who bravely stood up for her people. The word "purim" means "lots", due to the method that wicked Haman used to decide the date that they would wipe out the Jewish people in the provinces of Persia. There are many surprises hidden in the book of Esther, where things are not what they seem. Purim is a time Israelis celebrate by "hiding" in costumes! Continue reading...

DO WE BELIEVE IN "THREE GODS" AS THE RABBIS CLAIM?!

There's a rumor going around that the New Testament supposedly teaches a belief in three gods.
To begin with, it's important to understand that this false rumor does not exist by accident. It is based on deliberate brainwashing that has been promoted for 2,000 years, and its purpose is to present the New Testament as pagan.

But no, we absolutely do not believe in three gods! God is ONE, as the Prophet Isaiah said: "Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, the LORD of hosts: "I am the first and I am the last; besides me there is no god." Now check this quote out...

Exposing Passive-Aggressive Witchcraft in the Church - JOHNATHAN STIDHAM CHARISMA NEWS

The enemy likes to hide in the shadows. (Pixabay)

Exposing Passive-Aggressive Witchcraft in the Church

JOHNATHAN STIDHAM  CHARISMA NEWS
Passive-aggressive: denoting or pertaining to a personality type or behavior marked by the expression of negative emotions in passive, indirect ways, as through manipulation or noncooperation:
There are many in the churches that are in disagreement with their leaders or other ministries. The enemy has used their frustration, wounds, rejections or disapproval to pull them into passive-aggressive witchcraft. They are in the shadows hurling javelins of disapproval, slander, accusation and gossip. While publicly, acting as though you're in agreement and complying. It does not matter where you go or who your leader is, your passive-aggressive nature has birthed a critical spirit inside of you.
The devil is using guerrilla warfare in the body of Christ. Many people are operating in passive-aggressive witchcraft, and may not know it. Guerrilla warfare is unconventional warfare; the enemy fights from the shadows. The same is true of passive-aggressive behavior within the body. It's a way of quietly subverting something or someone in the shadows and behind the scenes. This is done through stubbornness, laziness, misplacing things, anger, gossip, manipulation, slander or procrastination while portraying an attitude of cooperation. The Lord woke me up early this morning. I was immediately pulled into a vision with God speaking these words, "The hour of violent warfare is upon the body. It's time to expose undercover witchcraft." In the vision, I see the Bible opened, and combats boots coming out of the Word of God. These combat boots began to march in sets of four down the street with beautiful uniformity. The Lord began to hand the Rose of Sharon out to each pair of combat boots. As the rose was handed out, the boots became aggressive against opposition. I looked to my left and right. There were innocent people standing around untouched by the combat, and soothed by peace.
God is raising up a mighty army of apostolic and prophetic companies, which will combat passive-aggressive warfare with the Word of the Lord. They will be aggressive in their warfare, but take no innocent casualties. They will operate in unity, be governed by truth of the Word and never lose peace in the midst of battle. The Lord is exposing what the enemy has tried to mask with passive-aggressive behavior. The mask is being taken off. Hearts and motives are being exposed in this hour. What has been done, spoken in secret and in passing will no longer be tolerated. It will be revealed. The hidden things are coming to light. Many are cursing and assassinating fellow believers, leaders and ministries with their words and accusations (javelins). Many are being hit by "friendly fire." Jealously and the unwillingness to shift to the new in this season, is fueling the javelins being released. "You are either for Me or against Me" says the Lord. "I'm revealing hearts and taking the masks off. You will see clearly who is for Me and against Me. Get your heart right in this season. For when you oppose your brother or sister, you're opposing me. I will oppose those who oppose Me."

Trump Calls Mahmoud Abbas, Says It's Time to Make Peace - Israel Today

Trump Calls Mahmoud Abbas, Says It's Time to Make Peace

Sunday, March 12, 2017 |  Israel Today Staff
US President Donald Trump on Friday phoned Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas and said the time had come to seek a genuine peace agreement with Israel.
Trump reiterated to Abbas that his administration will not follow in the footsteps of its predecessors by trying to impose a solution on Israel, The Hill reported.
“The President noted that the United States cannot impose a solution on the Israelis and Palestinians, nor can one side impose an agreement on the other,” read a statement released by the White House.
Trump reportedly invited Abbas to visit Washington “in the near future.”
Last month, Trump served notice to the Palestinians that he was not married to the two-state solution, and suggested he’d be willing to back any solution that Israel found most fitting.
“I’m looking at two-state and one-state [solutions], and I like the one that both parties like. I can live with either one,” he said during a press conference with visiting Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

What Joseph's Story Teaches Us About This Powerful Role of Holy Spirit - DANIEL KOLENDA CHARISMA NEWS

An intimate relationship with Holy Spirit can turn your wilderness into a fresh river. (Pixabay)

What Joseph's Story Teaches Us About This Powerful Role of Holy Spirit

DANIEL KOLENDA  CHARISMA NEWS
Who is a more faithful comrade in the wilderness than the Holy Spirit? Whose friendship is more valuable during troubled times than the most wonderful, kind, loyal, and awesome confidante in the Universe? When taking stock of your resources, remember this most precious, personal gift of His presence and fellowship. The living God, in the Person of the Holy Spirit, is going before you, walking beside you, guarding behind you, resting upon you and dwelling within you. What more do you need?
The greater our revelation of the Holy Spirit's presence, the greater our comfort. And the greater our comfort, the less the wilderness feels like a wilderness. This is not to say that the Holy Spirit will inoculate us from all pain and suffering. Instead, it means the depth of the Holy Spirit's comfort enables us, not only to maintain our joy and character in the wilderness, but also to flourish there in Christ more than ever.
"The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad, and the desert shall rejoice and blossom as the rose; it shall blossom abundantly and rejoice even with joy and singing. ... Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. Then the lame man shall leap as a deer, and the tongue of the mute sing for joy. For in the wilderness waters shall break out and streams in the desert. The parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water; in the habitation of jackals where each lay, there shall be grass with reeds and rushes" (Is. 35:1-2a, 5-7).
How can we have a "wilderness" so colorful, alive, and exhilarating? Through the comforting, transforming presence of the Holy Spirit. This is what makes the wilderness totally worth the trouble. It gives us the opportunity to experience the Holy Spirit's comfort on a level we would never have experienced otherwise. Nothing is more valuable than the awareness of the ever-present God. If you have entered a wilderness, determine you will use this as an occasion to discover more about the magnificent reality of the Holy Spirit.
The young patriarch, Joseph, faced many difficulties as God trained him for royalty, including his unjust imprisonment in Egypt before his rise to power. At that precise part of the story, however, the narrator makes a comment that is striking for its simplicity and magnitude. "But the Lord was with Joseph" (Gen. 39:21).
The story already mentioned God's presence with Joseph several times. That's what made him successful in Potiphar's house. Yet now that Joseph's situation changed from his master's house to the jailhouse, his spiritual position remained the same. Just as God was before, so is He now "with Joseph" even in prison. The radical change of circumstances did not mean that God had left Joseph. He was still with His chosen vessel, directing Joseph's steps and forging his character.
But here's the secret. The Lord was not "with" Joseph merely in the physical sense while remaining detached emotionally. No, the Lord was with Joseph in the fullest sense of the word. He was experiencing the trial and suffering right along with His faithful servant. The Holy Spirit enclosed himself within Joseph's sufferings so they could go through the wilderness together, companions in the emotions and pressures of the experience.
This is how "the Spirit helps our weaknesses" (Rom. 8:26a). He is groaning with us when we "groan within ourselves" (Rom. 8:23). His presence is not shallow and technical, but deep and intimate. The Spirit experiences our wilderness from inside us, embedded in our unique personality and perspective. Thus we can immerse ourselves in Him as He is within us. He is the one who assisted Jesus through the wilderness. He knows how to suffer the desert while fully understanding God's will and how we should pray. He knows our thoughts, weaknesses, strengths and ways of responding to pressure. Thus He knows exactly how to help us. He is our divine strength and knows how to walk us through.
So when you assess your resources, take stock of the comforting presence of the Holy Spirit. Realize that God Himself is with you, making His fullness available to you. You are not alone. Let the Spirit's peace and strength become yours. Let His comfort soothe you, even when there is no earthly source of consolation. Then your desert will become a sanctuary, your wilderness the garden of God.
This Bible study has been taken from Daniel Kolenda's booklet Surviving Your Wilderness and is for those who want to discover God's way for conquering their wilderness times.

Member of British Royal Family to Make First State Visit to Israel, Report Says - BREAKING ISRAEL NEWS

Member of British Royal Family to Make First State Visit to Israel, Report Says

“Mercy and truth preserve the king; and his throne is upheld by mercy.” Proverbs 20:28 (The Israel Bible™)
A member of the United Kingdom’s royal family is reportedly expected to visit Israel this year, marking the first time a British royal would make an official visit to the Jewish state.
The royal family has traditionally shunned Israeli invitations for official state visits, but members of the family have visited in a personal capacity and to attend dignitaries’ funerals.
While it’s unclear which British royal would visit Israel, it has been speculated it will likely be Charles, Prince of Wales and heir to the throne, who attended the funeral of the late Israeli President Shimon Peres last year in Jerusalem, The Independent reported. The report added that Queen Elizabeth would likely skip the trip due to her advanced age and health concerns.
