Why Believers Must Face the Subject of Islam Head On

Information about Islam is not easy for Americans to digest. The names are long and unfamiliar and many Arabic words are not easily translated into English.

Islamists have an incredible number of organizations with names that are long and similar to each other. Often, authors use initials and this makes it doubly hard for the English reader to remember what both the name and the initials stand for.

Many Islamist documents are written in Arabic, with little incentive for Islamists to translate them into English, especially when they contain strategies to conquer non-Muslim nations and place them under Sharia law.

So for most Americans, the Islamic lifestyle, laws and culture are in the "unknown" category. Besides, who doesn't know there are many wonderful, good Muslims who accept the values of the Western countries they live in? So the whole thing is confusing. How can a person know what is good and what is evil?

The answer is, we must face the subject of Islam head on. A Muslim person may be an entirely model citizen. But the religion of Islam, and those who study and adhere to its laws (sharia) must be analyzed and understood. Sharia is the law of true Islam.

For Western democracies, Islam is the perfect storm. Because Islam is a religion, it is untouchable in the West. In a democracy, adherents of a religion are free to practice their religion. It is guaranteed by the American Constitution. That means it is not to be suppressed, or harassed or even critiqued in polite society. (At least that is the theory. As we know, the rights to practice a Bible-based faith are now being encroached upon on every side.)

But here's the catch. Islam, as presented by the Quran and Muhammad, is not only a religion. It is also a political regime. More than that, it is a way of life that is absolute.

But that's not all. Islam is an ideology with arrow-sharp goals. The mission that Muhammad left to his followers is to conquer the world and force Islam on every human being. The methods may be different. ISIS, al-Qaida, the Ayatollahs of Iran, the Wahhabis of Saudi Arabia—they are bent on conquering the world through brute force. There are other movements though (notably the Muslim Brotherhood) that believe they can and will conquer the world through the political process.

Both violent and the non-violent Islamists have exactly the same goals. Different methods. Same goals. They are convinced that Islam will conquer the world and the entire human race will become Muslim. Islamic scholars proclaim that one day Jesus will return and He Himself will oversee the job of converting Christians and those of all religions to Islam.

It is true that for some centuries, Islam slept. Its warriors did not really pursue the conquest of the world. But note this: Since the Jewish people began to return to their own land promised on oath by the God of Israel, Islam has awoken. Its warriors have now become a worldwide movement. For all members of the religions of the world—except Christianity and Judaism—you die or become a Muslim. However, according to Islam, if you are a Christian or Jew, theoretically you can pay a tax to Islam which will buy your life. Practically speaking, however, many jihadis kill anyone who is not a Muslim.

Today, Islam has found a new weapon which has become extremely successful. This weapon is seemingly invincible. Because of wars introduced by Muslims against Muslims, and because of the poverty endemic in almost all Islamic states, refugees and migrants are invading Europe and the Western nations. Note that the oil-rich Arab nations are not accepting one single Muslim refugee, although they have the same culture, similar diets, the same language and certainly the same religion. Not one. Other autocratic governments are also not allowing this invading army of refugees to cross their borders.

But democracies have little defense against this human invasion. The remarkable phenomenon is that the Muslim masses are willing to risk their lives to escape the horrors of Islamic wars and poverty. But when their feet touch the promised lands of the democratic West, they do not want, for the most part, to integrate into Western society.

It's too restrictive.

Only one wife? It's against the law to beat their women? After all, in Muslim lands, it is a man's world. So after they arrive in the new world, they begin to duplicate and spread their religious-political ideology in the West—and turn their new land into a duplication of the very cultural civilization from which they fled.

Obviously there is a strong spiritual element to these massive changes taking place in Western civilization. Here's just one piece to the puzzle: For century upon century, England and Europe exiled and murdered the Jewish people. Through the last two millennia, anti-Semitism became a huge, organic part of European Christianity's DNA.

This was primarily due to replacement theology, which teaches that God has rejected the Jews because of their sins, and therefore Jews as God's Chosen People have been replaced by Christians. Today, only a small remnant of Jews is to be found in any of these now post-Christian European nations. Instead, 60 million Muslims, many of them militants, have taken their place.

Over the last few decades, the American government and institutions of higher learning have also turned their back on their Judeo-Christian moorings. Government officials and judges, along with university professors and scholars are aggressively fighting God's standards as revealed in the Bible.

Now Islam is taking root—seen and unseen—in America's government, universities and businesses. Because Islamists use vociferous pushback to any challenge of their goals to overthrow the Western way of life, both the ordinary citizen and intellectual elites are petrified to open their mouths about suspicious Islamic activities for fear of being called Islamophobic. Islam is spreading in America without challenge.

One last note: Don't ever let anyone fool you into believing that Allah and the God of the Bible are the same God. Here's how you can know for sure. Allah hates the God of Israel. Allah hates the Jews. Allah hates even the word "Zion"—the name that the God of the Bible promised will be His eternal resting place on Earth. Allah has told his followers to destroy Israel.

The God of Israel has promised that in the last days His Chosen People will come back to their own land which God promised the Jewish people with an oath. He has chosen the name "the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob" (whose name God changed to Israel).

There are countless other differences, but the people who understand God's plan for Israel, for its people to return to land of Israel and the God of Israel (not return to "religion"), will not be deceived by Allah—who is literally an anti-God.

In early 2015, I began to write about Islam's growth in the United States in the monthly Maoz Israel Report. Since then, Islam's expansion and influence have exploded, especially in government. So I have taken those articles I wrote, plus the latest developments and put them into my book, The Islamic Strategy to Conquer America.

As I watch events unfold from my home in Israel, I am convinced there has never, ever been a time as serious as this for America's God-fearing citizens to be aware of what is happening. The disintegration of Biblical values and principles has left an enormous spiritual vacuum, giving way to the ever-encroaching influence of Islam in this nation.

Be aware. Be in prayer. Be pro-active.

PERSPECTIVES AND OPPORTUNITY (c) Morris E. Ruddick Back in the early eighties, I served on the Political and Public Affairs Committee of one the most powerful trade associations in the energy business. In addressing one of our agendas, the Chairman of the committee and CEO of the Rowan Companies, posed an illustration. He suggested that had the rogue, totalitarian governments of the world announced plans to begin hanging all the capitalists across the globe; that what we could expect --- probably the next day --- would be a Western rope salesman at their door. There is nothing wrong with opportunity. Yet, we have entered a season in which those who define their identities and destinies as believers, both in ministry and in business, need to reevaluate the assumptions. The issue first relates to what in Jewish tradition might be termed the Issachar context --- of understanding the times and knowing what to do.  Understanding the times presumes a perspective based on a realistic worldview. Otherwise, the presumption of knowing what to do will be flawed and fall short.  The issue also has a specific bearing on our priorities and what we consider as opportunity -- as we seek to live according to God's priorities, in advancing what has long been referred to as the Kingdom of God.  Unfortunately, the priorities of believers in the West, typically, have little semblance to the priorities of believers in the two-thirds of the world with little or no middle class. While the Western Church has never been short on charity and philanthropy in its response to the realities faced by those in the rest of the world; yet strategically, the model for transformation, by and large, has been a short-sighted, Western model, based on a subtle element of Western dependency. It has fallen short in establishing non-Western believers to be the head and not the tail in their own lands. So, the stark realities of oppression, persecution and poverty, that prevail across the majority of the world, remain. Priority and Opportunity The issue concerns priorities and opportunity. It has been written: "While then we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, but especially to those who are of the household of the faith." Within the context of taking advantage of opportunity, our first priority then is to build up the household of faith. That principle has been modeled and stressed throughout both Jewish and Christian scripture. In the mid-90s, I penned my first article about the modern-day destiny shaped like that of Joseph the Patriarch. This modern-day "Joseph-calling" will play a significant role in addressing a time of crisis coming upon the earth.  However, the model for far too many embracing today's Joseph calling, with its anticipated role in administrating resources and power in a time of crisis, has yielded to pop-Christian culture, with a Western-dependent, Western-centric wineskin.  The fact is that in two-thirds of the world, the majority of the people are already in crisis and the realistic opportunities are being blinded by incredibly short-sighted mind-sets. To start recognizing the opportunities in order to make a difference where there is crisis, the current move of God underway in the marketplace is going to have to begin challenging the precepts of both our worldview and the standards by which we are ascribing our priorities.  Modern-day Josephs must be at the epicenter in recognizing these opportunities as the Western Church awakens to the plight of the brethren already living under conditions of crisis, poverty and oppression. In a post I wrote several years ago, I shared that the dynamic being referred to as the wealth transfer is not about money. It will have its focus on resources and power. While it may involve money, the wealth transfer will be part of the prelude to the clash of all ages. The clash of all ages will pivot on Israel and extend worldwide - and spark the release of the restoration of God's order and prophetic destiny for His creation. It is this restoration of God's authority that will unleash unexpected societal change. It will give focus to the central message expounded by Jesus when He walked the face of the earth: the Kingdom of God.  The Kingdom of God The issue relates to change during a time of change. Central to the change that builds God's Kingdom and not a false illusion of it, will be the new-wine skin orientation of how we respond to prioritizing opportunity. During the same time frame that my friend from the Rowan Companies was commenting on misguided opportunism, Apple Computer's founder Steve Jobs challenged Pepsi's vice-president John Skully (the man who orchestrated the Pepsi Challenge ad campaign that snatched significant market share from Coke) with these words:  "Do you want to spend the rest of your life selling sugared water or do you want to change the world?"  That question strips the superficialities from our notions of success and really hits the priority nail on the head. Every modern-day Joseph should be embracing opportunity within this context and operating as a change-artist, to actively change conditions in the world in the sphere of their calling. Realities, Opportunity and Focus Margaret Thatcher once commented that Ronald Reagan "ended the cold war and made the world safer for democracy and capitalism."  While I agree, my prayer is that the path he paved was for something more significant than opportunity for the capitalist rope peddlers. My prayer also, is that those emerging as today's Josephs are genuinely facing the realities that operate outside the sphere of the West. Such a focus will give priority to mobilizing and building up those who are of the household of faith in these lands. Unfortunately, many sincere Western Christians, in their old wineskin zeal, unwittingly prop up and perpetuate the very systems and organizations that persecute and oppress those of the household of faith in lands outside the West. It may not be selling the rope to hang the capitalists, but if it fails to build up the believing community, then it is flawed and falls short.  Jesus spent a lot of time with His followers imparting the principles of faith. Faith is both a relational and an operational thing. Relationally with God, it first closes the gap between the seen world and the unseen spiritual world. That in turn is the gateway into the second relational dimension, as we employ our gifts and callings to serve in making a difference for those around us. With that foundation, operationally faith then restores God's order and purposes where it is broken, where there is crisis.  The Kingdom of God involves the employment of power, God's power. God's power is a challenge to corrupt power. Kingdom principles often contradict accepted ways of the world.  The fact is that spirit controls matter and is a foundational premise of God's power. The words of Jesus, expounding on the words of Moses and the prophets, call for a breaking of the mold. It is an issue of fixing what is broken.  We need to recapture the wineskin-for-change to rebuild the broken walls and restore the losses that got diverted from the vibrant momentum evidenced in the first century Church. The early Church was referred to as those who were turning the world upside down.  Turning the world upside down today is not going to happen by blindly importing and leveraging Western expertise and funds into lands of crisis; or by schmoozing the local temporal and religious power brokers. It is going to begin from within; by mobilizing and equipping local believers who have a grasp to build community and extend the mantle first given to Abraham to those around them: to be blessed to be a blessing. From that point creativity and discovery will result. Joseph the Patriarch was totally integrated into Egyptian society, to the degree that his brothers didn't recognize him until he chose to reveal himself to them. He was faithful in administrating the authority entrusted to him, at each operational level, during his tenure in Egypt. God is not looking for rope peddlers to serve as benevolent, power-brokers.  Like Joseph the Patriarch, the calling today is completely outside-the-box of what may have been previously acceptable operating parameters. This will bear significantly on how we approach opportunity, based on these higher-dimension priorities. The Seduction of Power Today's apostles-of-change are at the helm in a huge power-shift. It is a power shift that challenges the combined status quo of the spiritual, community and economic dimensions that govern entire societies. It challenges the business and technological foundations. Unfortunately, power seduces, blinds and corrupts. If it is not the seduction of responding to opportunity to selling rope to those who intend to hang the capitalists; then it is the outmoded wine-skin adages that keep the Josephs operating passively, limiting the potential of what could be the true impact. In reality we have entered a time of discovery and a time of accelerated change. Today's Josephs are called to be at the forefront of this discovery and change. Today's Josephs are catalysts for change, rebuilding and releasing restoration with community and economic initiatives in arenas of crisis. This is why the Joseph calling will not operate outside the cloak of humility. It is a calling that excludes the power-hungry and the social climbers. It excludes those who actively or passively abuse their authority; or give place to condescension and the subtleties of spiritual snobbery. Humility was foundational for everything that Joseph was called to do. Humility, among those with this high calling, cannot be achieved outside of recognizing our utter inability to accomplish God's purposes, aside from abiding completely in Him. Interlinked with humility is the need for a genuine listening heart, one that is poised and practiced in hearing from God and is intent on hearing the hearts of others. The difference between operating in a mode of "what we can do for God," versus what He is allowing to do through us, is not just subtle, but of such significance that it will impact the results for eternity. True Opportunity's Gateway: Redirected Priorities Joseph stood alone in his calling. His promotion into the fullness of his destiny did not come as a result of his own efforts or ethical standards, however exceptional they may have been. It was certainly not the result of his boss, Potiphar's unwavering support. Nor was it the result of the timeliness of the cupbearer remembering to intervene. Joseph yielded to God's purposes at every step. His promotion to become Pharaoh's right-hand man came directly from the Lord. His promotion into the fullness of his destiny came at a critical juncture in time when there would be no question with the priorities penetrating the opportunity with pinpoint precision. God was the One who put things in order and established the timing with the dreams He gave Pharaoh. Joseph's agendas, when sitting alongside of Pharaoh, became the gateway through which God re-navigated and re-set the stage for his purposes for His people Israel for all eternity, while profoundly blessing the peoples around them in the process. The reality is that both the crisis and the foundation for the long-awaited wealth transfer are upon us. The issue is one of dispersing and dispensing. There is a need to disperse the smokescreens that enshroud the priorities. With realistic priorities, the task is then to mobilize believers prepared in their own lands to become the head and not the tail to address the times of crisis and disruption. With that alignment will come the opportunities and discoveries tied to dispensing the wealth. The challenge for those in church leadership is this:  When the fire passes from the burning of the chaff, what is it that will remain from the efforts expended? Will you be known as using your gifts and resources to build up mobilizers who are aligned with the shift underway and who tangibly rebuild and bring restoration to those parts of the world where corruption, distress and affliction prevail? Then the challenge for the modern-day Josephs is:  What will your legacy be? When the Lord separates the sheep and the goats, will eternity see you as one who provided the rope for those perpetuating the crises and even undermining the higher dimensions of God's purposes; or will you use your resources to mobilize and equip the brethren to help their own people to rebuild in lands of crisis and turmoil. And for each of us, the question is what have we done about God's unfolding destiny for Israel and the Jewish people? May the Lord individually give us the revelation and wisdom to ensure our focus and priorities are on the opportunities and goals that serve the purposes of the One who sees in secret; rather than on the recognition and praise that come from the short-sighted worldviews and perspectives that gain the approval of men. What If…There Was No Resurrection?

“But if there is no resurrection of the dead, not even Christ has been raised; and if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is vain, your faith also is vain.” (1 Corinthians 15:13-15 NASU)

What if…there was no resurrection, and Jesus’ body decayed in the tomb, just like everyone else who died?

What if, when Miriam came to anoint Yeshua’s body with spices, as was common, that He was still there? And later His bones were found in an ossuary?

What if it really was a hoax, as the Temple priests wanted the world to believe, and the word spread about the disciples hiding His body so they could say that Jesus had been resurrected from the dead, was true?

If it were so, and there was no resurrection on the third day as Jesus had prophesied, then…

…the 12 disciples were complete fools in traveling the world, telling He was alive, and then martyred for nothing.

…Saul from Tarsus saw someone, or something, other than the resurrected Lord, on his way to Damascus to kill believers, and then too was completely mistaken for all his believing years, speaking a false Gospel of hope throughout the Roman Empire.

Years after his encounter of the Lord on that day, he wrote to the Corinthians, describing how not only would their faith be in vain, but “Moreover we are even found to be false witnesses of God, because we testified against God that He raised Christ, whom He did not raise, if in fact the dead are not raised. For if the dead are not raised, not even Christ has been raised; and if Christ has not been raised, your faith is worthless; you are still in your sins. Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished. If we have hoped in Christ in this life only, we are of all men most to be pitied.” (1 Corinthians 15:15-19, NASU)

If the resurrection were not so, then “we are of all men most to be pitied.”

What if there were no resurrection?

Then all the men and women through the centuries, who perished by sword, fire, rocks, arrows or bullets, who had proclaimed the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, would not be in heaven, but rather now suffer in eternal hell with all the other non-believers through the ages.

If Jesus had not been raised from the dead, what are we doing, looking to salvation from our sins, if the Perfect Sacrifice had not happened? What hope do we ourselves have for eternity?

“But the fact is that the Messiah has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have died. For since death came through a man, also the resurrection of the dead has come through a man.” (1 Corinthians 15:20-22 Complete Jewish Bible)

This had been predicted by the Jewish prophets centuries before, that the Messiah would come, and be the One to fulfill the Hope of Israel.

From Isaiah 53:1-12:

“Who has believed our message?

And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?

For He grew up before Him like a tender shoot,

And like a root out of parched ground;

He has no stately form or majesty

That we should look upon Him,

Nor appearance that we should be attracted to Him.

He was despised and forsaken of men,

A man of sorrows and acquainted with grief;

And like one from whom men hide their face

He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.

Surely our griefs He Himself bore,

And our sorrows He carried;

Yet we ourselves esteemed Him stricken,

 Smitten of God, and afflicted.

But He was pierced through for our transgressions,

He was crushed for our iniquities;

The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him,

All of us like sheep have gone astray,

Each of us has turned to his own way;

But the Lord has caused the iniquity of us all

To fall on Him.

He was oppressed and He was afflicted,

Yet He did not open His mouth;

 Like a lamb that is led to slaughter,

And like a sheep that is silent before its shearers,

So He did not open His mouth.

By oppression and judgment He was taken away;

And as for His generation, who considered

That He was cut off out of the land of the living

 For the transgression of my people, to whom the stroke was due?

His grave was assigned with wicked men,

Yet He was with a rich man in His death,

 Because He had done no violence,

Nor was there any deceit in His mouth.

But the Lord was pleased

To crush Him, putting Him to grief;

If He would render Himself as a guilt offering,

He will see His offspring,

He will prolong His days,

And the good pleasure of the Lord will prosper in His hand.

As a result of the anguish of His soul,

He will see it and be satisfied;

By His knowledge the Righteous One,

My Servant, will justify the many,

As He will bear their iniquities.

Therefore, I will allot Him a portion with the great,

And He will divide the booty with the strong;

Because He poured out Himself to death,

And was numbered with the transgressors;

Yet He Himself bore the sin of many,

And interceded for the transgressors.”

Because His grave is empty and indeed the resurrection did take place, our faith is on solid ground, and will stand come what may. The testimony of millions, from the first century through today, will ever proclaim that Jesus Christ lives and continues to save the hearts and souls of mankind. Your trust in Him is yet another fact that the world can see to believe also.

The “what if” became the “fact is”, with Jesus being the solid rock to stand on. Truth will always win out in the end.

I had an interesting vision today in worship, where I saw the Lord dressed as a mighty warrior and I saw Him marching, and behind Him were hosts upon hosts of angels. I then released that He was walking into the enemy's camp in the lives of believers and as I looked around, I could see things that belonged to the people of God that the enemy had stolen.

I saw the Lord walk up to the enemy and He grabbed him by the throat. The thing is, as the He grabbed the throat of the enemy, the enemy turned into what looked like a cartoon character. The Lord squeezed him and shook him and I saw the eyes of the enemy begin to bulge and bulge as the Lord began to shake him. The Lord is suffocating the enemy in your life in His defense of you. As I watched the expressions on the face of the enemy I began to laugh as it was so apparent who was the ALMIGHTY ONE, the One who holds ALL POWER and the one who has NO POWER! Again, I was reminded that the only power that the enemy has is the power that we give him as the people of God in our agreement, alignment or declaration.

As the Lord began to shake the enemy violently I saw all these things that the enemy had stolen, things that were in his possession that he had stolen from the people of God and they began to fall out of his hands and pockets. Things he had stolen and hidden were all falling out. He was losing his grip and there was nothing he could do about it. He was being reminded again by the Lord of his fate as the DEFEATED ONE.

A Great Comeback

I saw the angelic hosts begin to move through the enemy's camp and they were taking back everything that he had stolen. They were filling what looked like wheelbarrows full to the brim with possessions that belonged to God's people.

Where the enemy had attempted to bring SETBACK the Lord was establishing the great TAKE BACK, which was going to turn to a great COME BACK for the people of God.

I then saw the angelic hosts wheeling in gold wheelbarrows and they all lined up alongside the Lord on His left and His right. He lifted His hand and eyeballed the enemy, and He spoke: "RETURN SEVENFOLD!!!!!"  (Proverbs 6:31b) Suddenly I heard the LOUDEST thunderstorm. It was like a battle was being waged in the spirit, a fighting against a REPAYMENT to the people of God. 

Again, the Lord spoke with such authority "I SAID RETURN SEVENFOLD."  Instantly, it began to rain, it poured so heavily, torrential rain. As it rained, it was raining a SEVENFOLD INCREASE and MULTIPLICATION into the lives of God's people in EVERY area the enemy had stolen, killed and destroyed. The golden wheelbarrows were being filled to overflowing with the sevenfold COMPLETE multiplication and increase. I wondered why the wheelbarrows were golden and suddenly the sense surrounded me that the sevenfold multiplication and increase was coming with great favor and anointing! THE BEST!!!

Stopping the Enemy in His Tracks

The Lord released the enemy and threw him to the ground and began to walk out of the enemy's camp. He then turned around and He BLEW fiercely upon the enemy's camp and confusion was sent upon them. The enemy was being stopped in his tracks with any rising up in retaliation against the people of God in this restoration and increase.

The Lord is rising as your strong defender! Just watch and see how He is going to show Himself strong on your behalf. Watch the sevenfold return that is entering and going to enter into your life.

The stage has been set.

Where the enemy brought SETBACK, the Lord is establishing the great TAKE BACK, which is turning to a great COME BACK for you as you arise in more than you had before, stronger than you were before, and walking in a greater revelation of your authority in Him to overturn the works of the enemy.

Jews vs. Christians: An Us vs. Them Mentality?

To the Jewish person who is only aware of the issues of history (touched on in my last article), but not of what Yeshua taught, there remains no other conclusion: Christianity is anti-Semitic.

Therefore, when Jewish people are shown the prophecies in Scripture regarding Messiah (Is. 7:14, Is. 53; Mic. 5:2; and more), they cannot imagine that these would refer to Yeshua. After all, they reason, how could Jewish Scripture point to a Jewish Messiah who is the leader of an anti-Jewish religion?

Exception or Rule?

Throughout history there have been many individual Christians who have loved the Jewish people, such as Corrie ten Boom, who sacrificially rescued Jewish people in her home during the Holocaust. Today, many Christians would point to her as a representation of their concern for Jewish people. Unfortunately, however, to the Jewish people, believers such as Corrie appear as the exception, rather than the rule.

The Kiss of Death

Some well-meaning Christian leaders have responded to Christendom's persecution of the Jewish people by affirming: "Let's not offend our Jewish friends any further by preaching the gospel to them." This unbiblical stance perpetuates the false belief that 'Jewish people don't need Jesus,' effectively cutting them off from their only hope for eternal life (John 14:6).

A Hardened Heart

Still other Gentile believers disregard history, the scriptural instruction to "Speak the truth in love" (Eph. 4:15) and common sense. Rather, they attempt to justify a continued insensitivity to Jewish people. How do they do this? Instead of preaching that salvation is received when one turns from sin to God, a "cultural gospel" is proclaimed for one to turn from his Jewishness, and be converted to "Christianity."

History has handed down to Jews and Christians an "us vs. them" mentality. Thus, Jewish people are often made to feel that being Jewish is a sin, and that once they believe in Yeshua, they should turn their back on their Jewish heritage (forget Passover, Hanukkah and so on). This is confusing and presents a false view of the issues of sin and forgiveness. Scripture is clear that being Jewish is no sin, lest Yeshua be the chief sinner, for He is the King of the Jews.

God's Solution: Living the Truth in Love

If, because of history, Jewish people cannot "see" Yeshua in the Scriptures, and if it is unscriptural to be insensitive to Jewish people in our witness, what then are we as believers to do? Our Jewish friends need to see us as Yeshua's representatives. Our committed love and concern for Jewish people, and all people, is needed in order to overcome the historical horrors that have been said and done "in Jesus' Name." Let us not allow the sad history of the past 19 centuries to be the only witness that our Jewish friends have. Rather, let us become "living epistles" (2 Cor. 3:2-3), demonstrating God's love for Israel. We can help Jewish people look at the Scriptures with "new eyes" and favorably consider Yeshua as Lord and Messiah.  

Satan has done all he can to ruin our Lord's testimony to Israel. Although he has deceived even church leaders regarding God's program for Israel, still the Bible says, "He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4). True believers in Yeshua can, with their testimony, gain victory in the Lord!

I know personally that this victory is real, for years ago, non-Jewish believers simply and sincerely shared Jesus with me. I mocked them at first, because of course I "knew" from history what Christianity is all about. Still, a spiritual seed was planted in my heart, and soon after, I came to believe the truth about Yeshua and was wonderfully saved.

Here are three lessons for our lives from these issues we've looked at through these articles:

Part 1) The Word of God: Scripture is the sole authority for faith and practice.

Part 2) The work of God: The sacrifice of Messiah is the sole necessity for our redemption by faith.

Part 3) The witness of God: Love is the sole testimony for all people, to the Jew first and also to the Gentile.

You, too, can make a difference. God has strategically placed you in the lives of your Jewish friends to demonstrate the love of God, so that my people chosen by the Lord will never again say, "Anyone but Him." Instead, may they say with confidence and joy, "No one but Him!"
