What Are You Made Of?

Have you ever found yourself looking at another person and asking, as I often do, “What is their history? What were they like when they were young? What are they made of now?”

Do you wonder the same?

As the Lord considers each of us, for the completion of His plans and purposes, I think He asks (even as He already knows, being God) what are we made of?

Coupled with that is the foundation we have built on in our lives, from which upon we do what we do.

And what foundation have we built on? Will it sustain us when trials and temptations come, as they surely have and will? Can that foundation position us to do what He intended for us to do? Will it stand strong when the forces of the world come against us, in both the natural and spiritual realms?

Derek Prince, whom I have often written in my messages, was one of the best Bible teachers the Lord has given us in this past century, known, among other things, for his foundational teachings.

Based on Hebrews 6, the basic, solid teachings of the Bible have to be understood and practiced by believers, by His disciples, if the Lord’s fulfillment in our lives will be accomplished.

“Therefore leaving the elementary teaching about the ]Christ, let us press on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, 2 of instruction about washings and laying on of hands, and about the resurrection of the dead and eternal judgment. 3 And this we will do, if God permits.” Hebrews 6:1-3, NASB

In addition to these very foundational bricks in our “building”, how often do we pray beyond the words, “Help me God?”

How regularly do we study, or even read, His Words given to us, from Genesis to Revelation?

When do we seek to build His kingdom rather than just our own?

Men and women have been called to be disciples, not just ones who have gotten “saved” and then going from that starting point and live for themselves.

We must be His disciples, not just His  children.

“For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.

The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.” (2 Thessalonians 2:7-10 (NKJV)

In a classic quote many of you have heard spoken on the big screen, from over 20 years ago in the movie, A Few Good Men (1992), Col. Nathan R. Jessep (Jack Nicholson) responded to the fierce questioning of military lawyer Lt. Daniel Kaffee's (Tom Cruise) with this outburst, “You can’t handle the truth!”

Seems like it was a prophetic word recorded back then, as in today’s world truth is what many would consider is whatever you want it to be. Because the one foundational, solid, eternal Word of God has been rejected and replaced with man’s contemporary knowledge, whatever you say, whenever you say it, is now taken as the “gospel truth”, whether it is or not. Many times it is simply a lie.

As the Gospel has been watered down in many assemblies on each Sunday morning, lack of knowing the truth has left a void for anything solid on which to stand on. Therefore, as the tide rolls in and rolls out, as public opinion goes, so does the beach sand on which it flows over.

In Matthew 7:24-27 there are two foundations which Jesus describes, as He graphically reveals what will result, when each building choice is challenged. Did we build on the solid rock or sand?

“Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them, may be compared to a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and yet it did not fall, for it had been founded on the rock. 

Everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not act on them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. The rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and it fell—and great was its fall.”

Jesus clearly states that rejection of truth, found only in His word, will result in a great fall, when the times of testing come for each person. Either from lack of knowledge or from an earlier specific choice that was made, what happens in each trial experienced will prove the existence of faith in the Son or not.

Our Lord says that each foundation will be tested. Our “house”, that which consists of our spirit, soul and body, will either stand or fall apart, based on decisions we made in the building process, to do our own thing, go the way of the world, or choose the solid truth of the Almighty God’s written Word, as found in the Bible.

Those who had chosen to love the truth will have the ability to withstand the wearing down that comes in trials. Their bedrock faith will be revealed, while even growing more, through those testing times.

Love of the truth will protect us from unrighteous deception, lying wonders, and acts of Satan. We will be able to see through the fog that others have allowed to cover them. We will be able to know what is counterfeit, and what is true. Our discernment will be sharp.

I encourage you to go deeper in your pursuit in getting to know Him Who is Faithful and Ture. Hearing Yeshua’s voice, reading His Word, receiving sound teaching, and walking in obedience will keep your heart, mind and spirit prepared to challenge the lies of the enemy that come daily.

We will especially need to know God’s biblical truth in order to resist falsehood and stand strong in these end times.

The Elijah List

If you are reading this then congratulations, you have made it through some very uncertain times. The good news is that things are going to start getting progressively better after this month.

This is from my prophetic word for 2015 that I released last January: 

There will be another major spiritual shift in June (the first one was in May of this year) and "June gloom" will lift and the fog of forgetfulness will be removed. God will begin to bring to your memory promises you have forgotten. This will set the pace for the rest of the year. Watch for things to "fall into place" in the fall.

Take Cover

When I say, "Take cover," most people think of something negative coming. But God is saying that if you stay under His covering things will work out great. Don't be distracted by things that are in disarray right now. Things are going to smooth out in July.

Psalm 91:1–4 Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust." Surely he will save you from the fowler's snare and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.

The enemy wants you to think that you missed something or messed up. Take cover in God and you will not have to worry.

Major Reformation

Watch for big things from small beginnings. If you have ever heard God say to you, "Don't despise humble beginnings," understand that God is gathering small groups together to do something great.

We will see a shift come as we get aligned with God's purposes for our lives. There is a major reformation at hand!

2:22

I keep seeing 2:22 on the clock. God spoke to me about this through Daniel 2:22:

Daniel 2:19–22 During the night the mystery was revealed to Daniel in a vision. Then Daniel praised the God of Heaven and said: Praise be to the name of God for ever and ever; wisdom and power are his. 

He changes times and seasons; He deposes kings and raises up others. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning. He reveals deep and hidden things; he knows what lies in darkness, and light dwells with Him.

Watch for these things starting in June:

God is speaking through dreams and visions. The season is changing. Expect to see changes coming as God raises up new leaders for this next movement coming. God is revealing deep mysteries that have not been revealed. Expect to have hidden things revealed and a strategy on how to respond.

How to Move in What God is Doing Right Now

Develop this foundation:

• Agree that all things are possible for those who believe.

• "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13). "...but with God all things are possible" (Matthew 19:26).

• Understand that God is not angry and is not out to harm you.

• God is the giver of good gifts.

• God is a loving Father who wants to give us good things.

• God is for you and not against you or mad at you.

• God is not causing the bad things that we see happening in the world.

• God wants to give us the desires of our heart and wants to do this as our heart becomes more like His (Psalm 37:4).

• God wants to give you hope, a future, and not harm you. He longs to see you prosper and succeed (Jeremiah 29:11).

• You are truly a new creation in Christ, and old things no longer have power over you unless you allow them to.

Logjams

God showed me that many people are suffering from cloudy vision and confusion because of a critical spirit. When we judge others we can block blessings from flowing to us. Consider these verses that have to do with giving... (Photo via flickr)

Luke 6:37-38 "Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. 

For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."

People are suffering from spiritual logjams. For the most part it is from holding judgments against others.

Matthew 7:3–4 "Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when all the time there is a plank in your own eye?"

Overall, it is a time of major transition. Things are going to start to flow more freely. God is going to reveal a strategy that you need to flow in His will and timing for the remainder of the year.

Can you sense the transition? Ask God if you have any areas of blindness due to a "log of judgment" in your eye. God is gracious and is preparing you for increase! Remember to rise above your current circumstance and don't let anything stop you!

This was prophesied Sunday, February 22, 2015. We have transcribed it word for word, and then we've given you a video link so you can listen to it for yourself in context.

I live in Oregon, and many of my family and friends live in both Oregon and Washington. Some may ask, "Is this about an earthquake?"

I can only tell you that from my reading, it SEEMS to me, Steve Shultz, to say that! If it is not about an earthquake, it would be about "earthshaking events" in Oregon and Washington.

It IS called an ALERT and it IS an ALARM and when it says, "Wake up and watch," that means, WAKE UP AND PRAY AND KEEP PRAYING!

In addition, this word includes cities, regions and countries such as: Tennessee, New England, Japan, and Africa.

Now a specific note: When this word refers to "this month" it is speaking of the Jewish/Hebrew month of Adar that just began on the evening of February 20, 2015 and goes through March 20, 2015.

So be alert and PRAY!!

"Pray for Washington State and Oregon. I send an alarm from Zion across Washington State and Oregon and I say, 'Wake up and watch, for there is a change coming to your ground and a new, new opening is coming from Heaven, but now the ground will make a shift.

"I say to Tennessee, 'Watch, for this is a time that there will come a movement from the NE portion. You need to watch the movement.'

"I say to, 'New England, you need to awaken now because if you will awaken now I will cause a new generation to rise up in here.'

"I say to Japan, 'This will be a month that you must stand firm because of the shaking... so I say to you.'

"And I say to Africa, 'Get ready'. Algiers, you will be heard from: Let My people go," saith the Lord.

Find Your Way Through the Movement... Find Your Footing

Chuck Pierce continues:

I decree there's a shaking loose of promises that have fallen in the ground. And you're going to be walking this month and all of a sudden you're going to say, "I just stepped into a place of glory that I saw several times back," and then all of a sudden you'll decree a thing and it will happen.

Now I want you to decree. You decree: "I'm coming into my promise." You decree that though the enemy has blocked you, though you have done things you shouldn't have done, this month you are shifting to go up, and you will see a manifestation.

There is going to be a meeting of Heaven and earth. You need to know. You need to find your steps this month.

Hear what I'm your saying to you: Find your steps this month. There is going to be Heaven and earth colliding and shaking around us. Find your footing.

It's not going to be like where it's been, starting now. A new season has blossomed. Find your way through the movement.

God says, "Right now, I have begun a movement. You find your way through it. This is what it looks like. It's not going to be like other seasons."

You will not be controlling how the movement affects you. You'll just have to get in it.

...You get ready. Things will start moving all around you. Some of you are going to move in your jobs. Some of you are going to move where you live. Some of you are going to move in your life. Some of you are going to move in your house. Some of you are going to move in your nation. Things will be sliding and shifting this month, and God says, "Find your footing. Find your footing. Find your footing."

Something has stirred up. What Firstfruits is about is shifting into alignment with God's will in Heaven. Once we do that, let me tell you this month, something is going to shift around you and you are not to get frustrated in all the changes around you, but you will find your footing and you'll be stronger in the latter than you were at the beginning. I first heard the story of the Chinese bamboo tree in the late 1990’s. As the administrator of All Nations Church in Charlotte, NC, pastored by Mahesh and Bonnie Chavda, others and myself were anticipating the growth in the church membership. All involved with the new church plant in this Carolina region, begun in 1994, were working hard, giving what each had been gifted to do, in leadership, service, and care for the people.

Mahesh spoke one Sunday morning, and again at the all-night prayer time that Friday night following, called the Watch of the Lord, about the Chinese bamboo tree. It was an encouraging word, both to the church as a group, and to individuals specifically. Myself included.

In helping us visualize what can happen in the spiritual, by looking at natural examples the Lord gives us, Mahesh explained the amazing characteristics of this particular plant species. He spoke of how it is most often the way the Lord starts and grows a work that He has initiated. If He birthed it, He will see that it thrives, as we hear and obey along the way. But the way isn’t what we always think it will be. Or at least hope it will be.

Briefly, this particular bamboo, after being planted as a sprout, is watered, fertilized, watered, fertilized, watered, fertilized, again and again and again. Year after year. But there is no visible evidence that anything is happening. During that time, it certainly can be very challenging to one’s faith, especially if you are the one hauling the water and the fertilizer!

Year one passes. Nothing seen. Year two comes and goes. Nothing. But yet you remain faithful, believing the unseen will become the seen.

Year three. “Nada” (as is “nothing” in Spanish.) Year four - “Niet” (“no” in Russian.) Year five – “klum” (nothing) in Hebrew. But year five!

In a 23 day period, the Chinese bamboo explodes upward 22 feet into the sky. And in the short period of six weeks total, it can reach 80 feet! Remarkable! World Book Encyclopedia records that one bamboo plant can grow three feet in a simple twenty-four-hour period.

The question is then asked – did it grow 80 feet in six weeks or 80 feet in five years? I’m saying the later.

During that five year period, the root system, unseen, was being developed. Once the time had come to shoot upwards, the foundation had already been laid. This would then sustain the height and weight of the full grown tree. In addition to the upward growth, shoots had been sent out, also below ground level. This multiplication can come up through the soil up to ten feet away. 

What a natural visual for us in the spiritual. Builds your faith, right? You who have been laboring, faithfully, in the natural, all the time hoping, believing to see the increase come in the spiritual. Prayer, reading the Lo

You have been waiting. You have been doing. You have been crying out to the Lord for more results.

The time is coming. For you, it may be the 5^th year now.

God the Father has given us examples of those who have gone before us – Joseph, David, even Yeshua (Jesus) Himself. Each had to spend the time needed to first develop the character, before the time of the release. They then had the capacity for strength, wisdom and love to hold the weight of the assignment He had for them. As for them, so for you - that eternal purpose He has for you.

My prayer is that you will not quit in the third year. That you will keep believing through the fourth year. And that you will get the reward in that fifth year.

Our God is a faithful God. His promises are true to you.
