"I Am Awakening Talents All Over the World… Use Them!" Dr. Theresa Phillips

Church – Use Your Talents!
An encounter: I was driving to church when the Lord invaded my car. He began to speak to me in a profound way...He was teaching me discernment once again. I was contemplating on the hours ahead when He spoke to me and said,"Give this word to the Church. Theresa, there is a difference between ministry and the talents."
"Yes, Lord." I said.
He said, "The talents I have given to the Church need to be used. I'm calling them forth," says the Lord! "So long now many have been delayed from using the desire of their imaginations because of teachings that have hindered them. I am releasing that mindset even now and calling forth the talents of My Church to give them wealth."
"I have said in My word that YOU shall be the head and not the tail (Deuteronomy 28:13). The lender not the borrower (Deuteronomy 15:6). Now I say to you, O Church – arise and use what I have given you: media, entertainment, arts/dance, music, creative arts, inventions, books, and all the more... Even the silversmith will come back into the forefront – the goldsmith, the carpenter, and the carver...
Artistic Expressions Over the Nations
"Yes, I am releasing the artistic expressions to overtake polluted airways and visionaries. I am even giving nation's artistic expression.
In CanadaAustralia, and New Zealand, many of these expressions will catch the eyes of the media and souls will come to salvation," says the Lord. "This is the use of My talents I have given to assist in the blessing of ministry," says the Lord.

"Australia, I have called you out to share in the prophetic blessing of artistic glory. An artist will come forth out of Australia who has My heart and the paintings will make one weep for the hunger of My Presence,"says the Lord.
"Canada, I can set a seal upon you with angelic help to CREATE a medical system for cancer research. This will bring a cure in colon cancer," says the Lord.
"New Zealand, I have My eye on you! Be prepared for a media blitz concerning the workings of miracles. The artists of the local media will try to fake it, BUT out of you will come a group to prove them wrong," says the Lord.
"America, You have a dance inside of you... a dance group will emerge strong and take the stage by storm. Get ready, in their feet they will have the sound of thunder.

"Tonga, Yes TONGA, I have a gift for you! The Church in Tonga will sing a new song and will be recording an album that will touch hearts around the world. Watch Me and see this happen.
"Creativity is being released all over the world NOW as a celebration of My presence in these dark times.
"A songstress will emerge from Great Britain. She had endured hardship, yet her voice is one like a trumpet calling many into a sphere of glory. She will carry a new sound.
Releasing Talents – Awakening Talents Now!
"You see, I love your talents... I gave them to you! Use them or forfeit them," says the Lord (Matthew 25:14-30). "I am calling them back to you. I am releasing old dreams and desires. I am doing this, for you shall be a witness to the world that you are blessed in My presence," says our Lord. "You are Blessed to be a blessing."(Photo via pexels)
• Talents: flair, aptitude, facility, gift, knack, technique, touch, bent, ability, expertise, capacity, faculty; strength, forte, genius, brilliance; dexterity, skill, artistry.
• Gifts of the Spirit: special abilities provided by the Holy Spirit to Christians for the purpose of building up the Body of Christ, meaning – the anointed ones.
• Ministry: the extension of the Presence of GOD doing what He is asking you to do in that given moment.
"Yes, My Church, you are alive and doing well. Go forth and Dream Big and use what I have given you. No talent is too small or insignificant. Do not measure your talent against another's, for this will compromise what I have given you. I call you now to use your talents," says the Lord.

You Are The One - Now Think On This by Steve Martin

You Are The One
- Now Think On This
by Steve Martin

“I keep running hard toward the finish line to get the prize that is mine, because God has called me through Christ Jesus to life up there in heaven.” (Philippians 3:14 ERV)

Hanging in our former car garage, which is still attached to our house, though not used for the original purpose intended, is what some would call a “man cave”. (No, there is not a husky man with furry fur on his body and meatless bones sticking out of his mouth living there.) And within this cozy dwelling hangs an NFL football jersey. This specific piece of clothing sticks out among the other shirts I have hanging from one of the also former garage door rails. (It is still a rail, but now serves with a different purpose, as noted.)

This specific blue, orange and white team shirt, with the number 15 sewn onto it, also bears the name of Tim Tebow. Because I admired the courage and skill Tim had while playing for the Denver Broncos (and for another undisclosed reason), I purchased it in April of 2014 on eBay. It was a bit cheaper at that time, being he no longer played with the Broncos.

Going back to his Heisman Trophy winning days while a Florida Gator, Tim Tebow exemplified someone I wanted to imitate, in the realm of using what you have been given by your Creator to do. Even though some would say his playing style didn’t fit the traditional drop-back quarterback mold, he was faithful to use the talent, discipline and heart that God had given him. He was the one his teams needed to win the games and a championship.

There is not another Tim Tebow. Our good Lord only created one of him. Our Father put within Tim his unique spirit, soul and body. With that came desire, commitment and connection to the Lord, giving Tim the ability to accomplish his purpose at that moment in his football life. He achieved the goal because of the grace given to him, and his acceptance of that fact, to faithfully use that grace. Thus the college team, and later the big boys’ team, achieved spectacular heights. In that world of sports, as a team they together made it to the top of their game.

Now the percentage of us who have played sports, and then who later filled a role at the professional level, is very, very small. My guess would say that probably 99.99% of you reading this have never qualified for the starting position of a sports team. But being that is beside the point, you and I have been called to a higher calling, to fill a position that no one else but you can fill.

We are each unique. We have each been created in such a way that if we don’t do what we have been called to do, not only will we ourselves be hurting in our spirit, soul and body, but our families, friends, co-workers, and even the people of the world will be missing out.
No one else can be the person you and I have each been called to be. You have to be you. You are the one the good Lord has created to fill a specific plan and purpose in His eternal plan and purpose. Yes, you are the one.

The Lord isn’t expecting you to be another Tim Tebow. There already is one. He isn’t expecting you to be another “high profile” person who gets a lot of news coverage, unless He has intended  that you were created for that purpose. But He is expecting you to use the gifts, talents and every created cell in your being, beginning with the day you were conceived in your mother’s womb, to be what you are to be.

The nations are desperately in need of people who know who they are and are simply, but obediently, walking in His plan, which has been carefully crafted for His creation. These are ones like you and I, who are willing to give themselves in obedience to His calling.

As Christians, seeking and  keeping our eyes on Jesus (Yeshua), who have been chosen along with our friends the Messianic Jews, we will rise up in Messiah’s power and strength, fulfilling our purpose as the Lord’s Body of believers. We will, as One New Man doing our part together as a team,  manifest His glory on the earth. We will be the light to the nations.

And each of you are the one to help do it.

Remember When - Now Think On This by Steve Martin

Remember When
- Now Think On This
by Steve Martin

“'For I know the plans that I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.” (Jeremiah 29:11 NASU)

Remember when:

…you knew the neighbor across the street, whom your kids played with until it was dark out, and you could even borrow an egg if you needed too? Or if you were gone on a vacation for a week, and you came back to find your grass had been cut without asking anyone? Yes, the neighbor on the side of the house had kindly done it.

…you enjoyed having neighborhood gatherings, with each one bringing part of the meal for the grill, and you really did care about each other’s concerns that you shared amongst these friends?

“Owe nothing to anyone except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law.” Romans 13:8-9 NASU

Remember when:

…you and a few others received an award in school, because you really did work extra hard, while most others showed little effort? Not everyone got a special one, which made it an extra achievement.

…the bonus you received on your job was because your contribution made a difference, and the management realized it. And so when others just did what was expected of them, you gave the extra effort, and thus achieved the greater reward given to a few.

“The one who had received five talents came forward bringing the other five and said, ‘Sir, you gave me five talents; here, I have made five more.’ 21 His master said to him, ‘Excellent! You are a good and trustworthy servant. You have been faithful with a small amount, so I will put you in charge of a large amount. Come and join in your master’s happiness!” Matt 25:20-21 CJB

Remember when:

…Dad worked over 35 years at the same place, and they blessed him with a real special Grandfather’s clock, threw a party, and all his co-workers celebrated with him? He worked hard and was rightly honored.

…you also could almost certainly count on staying with your company for a long period of time, knowing they cared about you and not just the bottom line? And you got a fair wage for the work you were expected to do, and you did.

"Then I will draw near to you for judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers and against the adulterers and against those who swear falsely, and against those who oppress the wage earner in his wages, the widow and the orphan, and those who turn aside the alien and do not fear Me," says the Lord of hosts.” (Malachi 3:5 NASU)

Remember when…

…you had a Grandpa and Grandma who had been married for over 40 years, demonstrating the love and commitment that they had declared to one another back when they were in their 20’s? Marriage was well respected. And along with that, following this union of one man and one woman, you were grateful that your Dad and Mom then helped create you after their wedding.

…you waited for the choice the Lord had made for you, while all the while keeping pure in your actions towards one another until she walked down the aisle? The honeymoon night was a very special time of coming together.

“Marriage should be honored by everyone. And every marriage should be kept pure between husband and wife. God will judge guilty those who commit sexual sins and adultery.” (Hebrews 13:4)

In all these things and more, our God certainly “remembers when”, and He is not slow in His rewards, nor is He forgetful about His promises to those who obey His laws, and also to those who don’t. Just because “days have gone by”, or “these times are changing” doesn’t mean that we can change what we want, when we want to change them. His eternal ways will certainly be made known by all – one way or another.

He knows what is written in each of our life’s book. That day will come for each of us, as He then shows it to us.

“Then I saw a large white throne. I saw the one who was sitting on the throne. Earth and sky ran away from him and disappeared. And I saw those who had died, great and small, standing before the throne. Some books were opened. And another book was opened—the book of life. The people were judged by what they had done, which is written in the books. (Revelations 20:11-12)

I hope you are still remembering to do what is right, and just, and certain in the eyes of the Lord. A crown of glory and eternal life in heaven awaits those who do.

No, Hollywood, You Can't Have My Kids! DANIEL K. NORRIS (From The Frontlines by Steve Hill)

No, Hollywood,

You Can't Have My Kids!

Daniel Norris
Daniel Norris
I was sitting in a green room with a well-known individual when my wife walked in, holding our little princess. The gentleman sitting next to me took notice of what her mom and I already knew.
“That girl is absolutely gorgeous!” he exclaimed. Then he added, “She needs to be on TV.”
Instinctively, I responded, “I love her too much to prostitute her to the world like that.”
Extreme? Not at all. I’m not interested in raising a star. I’m raising a saint!
Right now, the world is watching as Justin Bieber becomes the latest to take the all-too-familiar path that so many have blazed before him. It’s striking to see how many of these fallen stars begin their ascent to fame in the church. They left God’s house for the promise of bright lights, adoring fans and big paydays. Many times they end up in the jailhouse, crack house or funeral home.
How many celebrity parents wish they had fought harder to keep their kids out of the limelight so that they might remain in the Lord’s light? Probably fewer than I’d hope.
These stories offer a very real and public example of why we parents have to fight hard to keep our gifted children out of the world's hands. It’s time we tell Hollywood, “You can’t have our kids!”
Personally, I am completely uninterested in what Justin is doing. I don’t care about his latest tattoo. I don’t care about who he is dating. I don’t care what club he was caught walking out of, and I don’t care about the house he just egged.
What I do care about is my kids.
We live in a world where achieving celebrity status is touted as the apex of success. We celebrate and idolize individuals in every arena of life. Even in the church!
I’m not concerned about how many people know my child’s name; I’m concerned that my child knows the name above all names. I don’t care how many people follow her; I care that she only follows Him.
Parents, we haven’t fought the world hard enough for our children. It is our job to nurture, protect and train them up in the ways of the Lord. Let's learn from the mistakes of the past and not fail our gifted children in the future. Here are a few ways how:
1. Fight to help them discover all their God-given gifts.
If you’re gifted to speak, sing or shake a hand, there is a place for you to serve in the sanctuary. However, those gifted with other skills, like leadership, athletics, academics, acting, writing and so many more, rarely find a place for those gifts to be discovered and developed in the house of God.
God is the giver of the child and the gift. He commissions the family first, then the church to steward those gifts. We have to seek ways to encourage their talents and teach them to use their gifts to glorify the Lord.
2. Fight to guard the gift.
I'm sure you've seen the “my child can beat up your honor student” bumper sticker. Every proud parent should celebrate their child’s accomplishments. But when celebration turns to bragging, we’ve stepped over the line.
Many parents attempt to live vicariously through their children's accomplishments. They believe what their child can do says something about them as parents. This teaches our children that “doing” is more important than “being.” (Honey Boo Boo, anybody?)
My child’s spiritual life is not secondary. It comes first, and nothing else compares. We don’t skip church or pass up prayer time or devotions for school, athletics or anything else.
When you choose to forego spiritual things for secular things, you are silently teaching a dangerous lesson. Parents will push their children to excel in life on the field, stage or classroom but neglect to see them excel first before the Lord. If we fail here, we fail everywhere!
3. Fight to celebrate the Giver of gifts.
“First of all, I want to thank God” is the nod you often hear thrown out after an award or championship game is won. I’ve been in rooms with people watching who say, “Oh, I didn’t know he was a Christian!"
He’s probably not.
If you can’t see the fruit of the Spirit in their lyrics, acting or sportsmanship, you will not find it in their life either. No shout-out to Lord can make up for a loose life.
We must teach our children to glorify the Giver, not the gift. They must learn they are gifted only because God is good.
If the gift gets elevated, it becomes an idol. When God is elevated, the gift can bring Him glory.
We teach our children that true worship is a lifestyle and that everything they do can be done as unto the Lord. It is only when God takes priority in their life that the gifts can find their proper position.
The Lord has blessed us with three amazing children, which means I’ve got three incredible reasons to fight for this generation. I know that God has an amazing plan for each of them, just as He does for each and every child. I also know that the enemy has a plan for them as well. He desires to kill, steal and destroy. Not on my watch! I’ll fight to see God’s dreams accomplished in them to the fullest.
Sorry, world—you can’t have my kids!
