Israeli father of 7 run over and killed near Hebron after stoning attack

Avraham Hasano hit by truck in southern West Bank when getting out of car to inspect damage; truck driver hands himself in to PA police

 October 20, 2015

An Israeli civilian was killed on Tuesday after he was hit by a truck as he inspected the damage to his own car caused when he was pelted with rocks by Palestinians near the West Bank city of Hebron.

Channel 2 television later named the victim as Avraham Asher Hasano, aged 54, a father of seven from the settlement of Kiryat Arba, on the outskirts of Hebron.

MDA paramedics attempted to resuscitate Hasano in preparation for evacuation by helicopter, but he died at the scene.

Initial reports indicated Hasano stopped his car after it was hit by rocks as he drove through the Al Fawar junction, near the Palestinian village of the same name, southwest of Hebron.

Hasano got out to inspect the damage. As he stood at the side of the road, he was hit by a passing truck that continued driving and left the area.

It was not clear if the second vehicle was deliberately driven into the Israeli. The driver gave himself up to the Palestinian security forces in the area shortly afterward. He said he had hit Hasano by accident and fled the scene out of fear, Army Radio reported.

The Palestinian driver may be transferred to Israeli security forces for further investigation of the incident.

Channel 1 reported that Palestinian rioters attacked Israeli forces and medics as they tried to attend to the victim.

Earlier in the day, an IDF army officer sustained light injuries after being stabbed by a Palestinian man in the southern West Bank.

The stabber was shot and killed during the attack, amid what the army said a “violent riot” in the village of Beit Awwa in the Hebron Hills region.

MDA paramedics treated the injured soldier at the scene for a hand wound. The officer, a company commander in the Givati infantry brigade, was expected to be taken to the hospital for further medical treatment.

The Palestinian Authority Health Ministry identified the stabber as Adi Hashem al Masalmeh, 24, from Beit Awwa.

The attacks came after Monday saw a rare respite from several weeks of almost daily shooting and stabbing attacks against Israeli civilians and soldiers, both in the West Bank and throughout Israel.

Dozens have been killed or injured in the attacks.

The last month has also seen a surge in violent clashes in the West Bank between Palestinians and Israeli troops.

While many of the attacks have been centered around Jerusalem, the weekend saw a spike in stabbings in and around the flashpoint West Bank city of Hebron, with three stabbing attacks on Saturday alone.

The current outbreak of violence was fueled by rumors that Israel was plotting to destroy the Al-Aqsa Mosque and take over the Temple Mount, the holiest site to Jews and the third holiest one to Muslims.

Israel has adamantly denied the allegations, saying there are no plans to change the status quo between Muslim worshipers and Jewish visitors to the site, and has accused the Palestinians of incitement. Jews can currently visit the religious holy site but are not allowed to pray there.

Canadian Elections Could Spell Doom for Israel as “Anti-Israel” Candidates Gain Ground

“A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.” (Proverbs 17:17)
On Monday, October 19th, the Canadian parliament will hold elections, possibly jeopardizing the pro-Israel stance of its government. The Conservative-led Canadian government has been one of Israel’s best friends for nine years, standing up for Israel time and again in international bodies such as the United Nations, as well as the G8, under the leadership of Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper.
Breaking Israel News spoke with Ilan Mann, a Conservative party activist working on the campaign of an incumbent MP (Member of Parliament) for Thornhill, which has a very strong Jewish representation. Mann described why it is so important for people who care about Israel, Jews and non-Jews alike, to vote for the Conservative Party of Canada.
“The Conservative government’s record on Israel has been second to none, both in Canadian history, and in the international community,” he explained. “This is represented clearly by the fact that several Israeli and Canadian publications have commented that Harper is ‘Israel’s best friend.’”
In January 2014, Israel honored Harper by giving him the “Key to the Knesset” in thanks for his friendship. Harper, in an address to the Knesset, told the Israeli people and the world that Canada will stand with Israel through fire and water.
Harper’s “morality doctrine” has been the lynch pin of his government’s foreign policy for the Middle East, often garnering bad press for Canada. When Canada’s bid for a coveted seat on the United Nations Security Council was rejected, the Conservative government’s Israel stance was cited by its critics as a possible explanation why.
“The Conservative Party of Canada recognizes Israel as a beacon of freedom in a region plagued by oppression, tyranny and terror, which is why we will continue to stand with Israel on the world stage,” said Mann. Indeed, the Harper government has not flinched from the proverbial slap in the face it received from the United Nations, even going so far as to harshly criticize the international body by calling it a “debate club for dictators.”
It seems that other parties vying for control over the Canadian parliament are looking to appear strong on Israel as well. According to Mann, “This election, every party has tried to emulate the Conservative Party’s principled position on the Canada-Israel relationship.”

However, Mann added, this newly adopted stance may not be as genuine as it seems for the Liberal or National Democratic Party (NDP). “The reality is, that actions speak louder than words,” Mann said. “The Conservative Party is the only party that is not running, and will not run, a single anti-Israel or anti-Semitic candidate.”
“The Conservative Party will never take the middle road when it comes to the only democracy in the Middle East,” he added.
Mann said that the track records of other candidates running for office speak for themselves. “The NDP ranks are ripe with anti-Israel candidates, including star candidate Andrew Cash, who has spoken in favor of the BDS movement,” he pointed out.
Mann also noted that the Liberal party’s list features anti-Israel MPs. “The Liberal ticket includes Omar Alghabra, former head of the Canadian Arab Federation, who has refused to condemn Palestinian suicide bombers as terrorists, doesn’t believe that Hamas is committed to the elimination of Israel and said that Israel’s actions in defense of its citizen during last year’s operation in Gaza were ‘blind and cruel’,” he told Breaking Israel News.
Mann compared the empty rhetoric of other parties to the Conservative Party’s consistently pro-Israel actions. “Meanwhile, the Conservatives have spoken publicly against the BDS movement, have stood by Israel in the face of rockets and ongoing terror, and defunded the Canadian Arab Federation for their support of terrorism and promotion of anti-Semitism,” he said.
“When it comes to the question of the Canada-Israel relationship, there has never, in our short history as friend and allies, been a starker choice,” he concluded.
Canadians go to the polls on Monday, October 19th, in what is shaping up to be one of the closest elections in Canadian history. According to current election polls, the Liberal party has a strong lead. What this will mean for Canada’s close relationship with Israel remains to be seen.

Hamas Orders Resumption of Suicide Bombings - BREAKING ISRAEL NEWS

Hamas Orders Resumption
of Suicide Bombings

“But the Lord laughs at the wicked, for he sees that his day is coming.” (Psalm 37:13)
The Hamas terror organization has ordered its followers to resume suicide bombings against Israelis following a wave of violence and terror across the country.
Quoting unnamed Israeli sources, Ynet reported Monday that Hamas terrorists in Hebron and Nablus have been ordered to carry out suicide missions in crowded areas in Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria.
A Palestinian Authority security official also revealed that PA forces recently busted a Hamas ring in Hebron, finding in their possession large quantities of money and explosives. Six of the terror cell members admitted under interrogation their wish to die.

Hamas has praised the terror attacks recently striking Israel, with group officials calling for an armed resistance against Israel. On Sunday, Mahmoud al-Zahar, a Hamas leader, said the current “popular Intifada” should turn into militarized conflict.
Last week, Ismail Haniyeh, Hamas leader in Gaza, urged the “strengthening and increasing of the intifada.” During a Friday sermon at a mosque in Gaza, Haniyeh declared that armed resistance was the “only path that will lead to liberation.”
Over the last two weeks, Hamas has called for two “days of rage” against Israel, urging Palestinians to carry out terror attacks against Israelis as well as riot against IDF soldiers.
The new call for suicide bombings comes after a Channel 10 report revealed Palestinian security officials believe Hamas terrorists are planning a large scale terror attack against Israelis in Judea and Samaria.

World Turning Against Jerusalem in Fulfillment of Biblical Prophecy - BIN

World Turning Against Jerusalem in Fulfillment of Biblical Prophecy

“And it shall come to pass on that day that I will make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all peoples; all who bear it shall be gashed, and all the nations of the earth shall gather against it.” (Zechariah 12:3)
As seen through multiple recent events, the nations of the world are increasing their efforts to weaken or remove Jewish sovereignty in Jerusalem. Is this a fulfillment of Zechariah 12:3’s prophecy that, at the End of Days, the nations of the earth will gather against Jerusalem?
In the 1920s, the Muslims began calling the Kotel (Western Wall) the Al-Buraq Wall and the Kotel Plaza the Buraq Plaza. According to Muslim tradition, Al-Buraq was a horse with wings that carried Muhammad back and forth between Mecca and Jerusalem.
Historically, the Kotel is a part of the outer, western retaining wall of the Second Holy Temple that was destroyed in the year 70 CE. It has been sacred to Jews and Christians for 2,000 years. The millenia-long holiness of the Kotel derives from its association with the Temple Mount, where the two previous Holy Temples stood.
Recently, the Palestinian Authority, sponsored by six Arab states, submitted a resolution to the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) seeking to claim the Kotel as a Muslim holy site, wresting the Kotel from the Jewish nation and claiming it as its own. In the proposal, the PA refers to Jerusalem as “the occupied capital of Palestine.”
Israel’s Foreign Ministry vowed to fight the resolution, saying that it “is a clear endeavor to distort history, in order to erase the connection between the Jewish people and its holiest site, and to create a false reality.”
Do you agree the Jewish people have a Biblical right to Jerusalem?
Riyad Mansour, the PA envoy to the UN, has also asked the UN Security Council to step in and assist Palestinian Arabs. Speaking to reporters after a Security Council meeting on Friday, October 16, painting Israel as the aggressors in the current wave of Islamic terrorism in Israel, Mansour said, “The situation warrants providing protection for our people in the occupied territory starting in the Old City of Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa mosque.”  In this statement, Mansour clearly refers to the entire Old City of Jerusalem as “occupied territory”.
In response to Mansour’s claims that his people are being threatened by Israel, the French newspaper Le Figaro reported on Saturday that France is drafting a proposal to station international troops on the Temple Mount. Israel’s UN representative Danny Danon said that Israel will never agree to allow an international force to occupy the site of the two Biblical temples.
International involvement in the status of Jerusalem is also coming from the US and the EU. Current US engagement is evidenced by US Secretary of State John Kerry’s efforts to clarify the meaning of the “status quo” on the Temple Mount through a series of meetings with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, Jordan’s King Abdullah and PA President Mahmoud Abbas.

The European Union also has a hand in attempting to clarify the status of the Jewish and Muslim presence on the Temple Mount, as EU Foreign Minister Federica Mogherini is set to meet with Netanyahu in Berlin later this week about the issue.
Scholar, author and End Times expert Rabbi Pinchas Winston believes that there is a great spiritual significance of the tug-of-war over Jerusalem.
“If you look at a map of Europe, Asia, and Africa, it is amazing that tiny little Israel is like the hinge pin that holds them all together. It really looks like the center of the world, and Jerusalem is its center,” he told Breaking Israel News. “Kabbalistically [according to Judaism’s mystical tradition], Jerusalem is even the center of the Universe, because that is where the light of God descends to the world before being shared with the rest of mankind.
“This is why so many nations and religions cherish and demand the holy city, even if they are not conscious of this. As every parent knows, little is more ‘burdensome’ than when several children desperately want the same thing,” he explained.
“When it comes to Jerusalem, how much so is this true when the sides are even prepared to kill for it, ‘forcing’ the world to have to deal with the issue when they’d rather be focused elsewhere?”

Israel is overreacting to this?? -

Oct. 19, 2015 Facebook post
Israel is overreacting to this?? Pardon me? I'm sorry that you have to see this, but if you think that these Israeli civilian men, women, children, and babies deserve this type of brutality just because they are Jewish, you seriously need to re-evaluate your opinions and your thought processes.
What kind of monster does this to people who are out playing or shopping? Worse yet, what kind of barbaric demon of a Palestinian President exhorts and incites his people to commit this sort of atrocity? Don't believe for a minute that this is nothing more than mischievous children just having a bit of fun.
This is systematic, medieval, bloodthirsty barbarism at its best. Those who do this and even more so those who promote and incite them to do it are nothing other than a blight upon humanity and a plague upon this planet.

Love for His People Editor's Note: The truth will be told. We will be among those who share it. As it is.
